Restaurant Hugoos in Zandvoort Zuid

We were there on a Monday without an appointment. There were four of us, and we received a very friendly welcome and excellent service. The restaurant is also very child-friendly ❤️. The service and food were very good. We will definitely come back.

From the outside, it's quite unassuming and doesn't really invite you to linger. But appearances are deceiving. The service is very friendly and attentive. The food is incredibly delicious and fairly priced.

During F1, they had a nice bar outside. The place to have a beer, we thought. We ordered four drinks and had to pay 40 euros. When we mentioned this, they reacted with feigned surprise, asking if we wanted more drinks for that price. Subsequently, after insisting, the amount was adjusted to 20 euros. When we wanted to return the cups for the deposit, we were told we could do so at another bar because they didn't have 5 euros in cash. After insisting, we were allowed to return them at that location after all. Other people in the queue were also complaining about high prices; were drinks being charged double there “by accident” as well?

Cozy atmosphere and very tasty Grolsch beer. The food is served quickly and is highly recommended!
