We order sandwiches here every week. Normally, I order Cajun chicken or a healthy sandwich. Those are filled normally. Today I ordered something different for a change. But unfortunately, I didn't like it. Today I received the meager salmon sandwich. There is a thin layer of salmon on it that you can see through in most places 🥲. Especially because you know what to expect, this was very disappointing.

Great, just cut in half if you want to share.

Unserious place to eat. We came all the way from Almelo on July 21st specifically to order five sandwiches, but ended up leaving empty-handed. The blonde lady behind the counter was mostly giggling and talking to a colleague instead of helping customers. Very disappointing. In the end, we just drove on to IKEA for a couple of hot dogs.

Had a super tasty sandwich today at this nice place. Chose the warm Rendang sandwich with some extras. I personally chose a white bread roll instead of an Italian bun. Thanks for the friendly service. Definitely recommended! PS everyone was very friendly!

I stopped by for a chicken sandwich. The young lady behind the counter was sweeping and cleaning while wearing gloves. After I had ordered, I expected her to put on new gloves. To my surprise, she used the same gloves to take the bread out of the oven and prepare my sandwich. That did not give me a hygienic feeling. Additionally, the sandwich did not taste like chicken at all, but rather like minced meat. After one bite, I pointed this out, to which I received the response: “Well, tastes differ.” I found that very unprofessional and not customer-friendly. Both the hygiene and the service were substandard for me. Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience, and I will not be coming back here!!!!

Great food, just very unfriendly staff member(s). There is a man walking around who clearly hates his job and takes it out on anyone unlucky enough to interact with him. Better to drive a little further to the McDonald's 200 meters away.

Haven't been feeling completely refreshed since September! I don't know what's going on, but I won't be spending any more money here; it was good from the start! Now the sandwiches are soggy and tough! Unappetizing, and the chicken is bone dry! Asking for €6.80 for terrible food is ridiculous, and €45 was thrown away. Ordered at noon, delivered at 1:40 PM! It's only a 7-minute drive!

The gentleman made my sandwich without gloves, which was completely unhygienic. I threw the whole thing away after one bite.

I've never seen or tasted such a bad mozzarella sandwich in my life. I threw it away. I've never seen such disgusting plastic mozzarella in my life. The slices were all out of proportion, and there was hardly any lettuce. First and last time eating there. And the waiter could be a bit friendlier, and the wait is long!

What a fantastic place this is! We asked shortly beforehand if it could be ready a bit earlier, and they agreed! We had a delicious meal and will definitely be back.

Just drove home. The deli78 truck comes tearing up. In a kid's neighborhood. Right in the middle of a built-up area. It really pisses me off. I'd pull him out of the car immediately and send him home. Owner? Shame on you.

The man behind the counter showed no interest in anyone, not even his colleagues. He also answered the phone with "YES" instead of "Deli78, how can I help you?" I asked beforehand not to add lettuce or tomato, but it was already there. The sandwiches were thrown on the counter as if they didn't care. The man wasn't wearing gloves and touched everything with his hands. The girls were visibly irritated by him.

Ugh, yuck, you order a sandwich and see the person pushing the trash can with their gloves on, then, with the same dirty trash can hands, they're making a sandwich. Brrrrr, never again.

We waited an HOUR (!) for the online lunch order. Called several times and each time the delivery person would be there within 5 to 10 minutes, which ultimately was not the case. “It is very busy” and “the delivery person has several orders with him” I was told. It is not without reason that I indicate what time I want to receive the order, so you have to indicate on the site that it is busy and may take longer. Do you pay delivery costs for that? Requested compensation, but this was not possible. Definitely not recommended if you ask me.

Always had delicious crispy sausage rolls in the past. Unfortunately not anymore. A limp, greasy thing. A few weeks ago I thought it was because I ate it at home. But now eaten straight away and very limp, greasy and soggy. When I said something about it, the older woman mentioned in previous reviews said that they were baked in the morning. I got there around 2 o'clock...I turned around and threw the sandwich away in the trash. Waste of money. Never again.

Unprofessional behavior of today's staff (25-01-2025). Old woman who is very negative. The lady also sticks her nose again during the telephone conversation with a young lady. Furthermore, it is the tastiest! Also, 90% of the staff is just friendly as always! -10% due to a lady who is too direct and very negative!

Normally the sandwiches are good for lunch. But this afternoon I was looking out of my eyes at home. Normally you get half a baguette that is in the carton, now I even get almost half of that for the same amount, sorry, you cannot sell this as a consumer. From now on I will check the bag to see if there is actually half in it. For other times it is an excellent takeaway place

If everything is in place that should be in place, I would also have given 5⭐️ for the service, but unfortunately something is still missing and I see that partly as service. I don't attribute anything to atmosphere, because there is no atmosphere, but that doesn't have to be the case, because it is completely focused on takeaway. The staff is friendly though.

Perfect thing if waiting is your hobby. The order was not too difficult, a number of sandwiches including a ham sandwich. After waiting 1.5 hours, a guy finally came to the office with the order and also started claiming that the order time (for us 1300 hours) is more of a guideline and that it can take longer. Ridiculous if you ask me because we just have lunch around one o'clock, that doesn't seem crazy to me. That hothead clearly thought differently about that, the ham sandwich? it was ice cold! So never again for us.

Ordered 3 sandwiches at 12 noon, a quarter to 2 and haven't seen a delivery person yet. After calling 3 times because they were "Unreachable", they finally answered to tell me that I have to wait a little longer and I have to listen to all the conversations from the kitchen, do you want to make a profit or not?

We ordered 3 sandwiches today. (clicked on 2 via the site and made a note on the third that it must be without sauce and bean sprouts. Unfortunately, all the sandwiches arrived without sauce and bean sprouts! We called immediately, customer friendly 0 stars, the girl on the phone found our mistake because take a look on the receipt... of course we can't see the receipt... we can't do anything about the fact that your site notes it like that. The conversation ended without a solution!

I get the grilled chicken fillet baguette with cayun sauce and bean sprouts here more than once a week. It really is so incredibly tasty and generously filled that I keep coming back for it. I drive through Hengelo as a parcel deliverer and that's why I often get my lunch here. Sometimes you have to wait a little longer around lunch time, but I understand that, they are just busy and work very hard to provide everyone with the sandwiches!

Het eten is er altijd goed. Vorige keer was mijn broodje iets minder maar dat is niet erg. Er was een miscommunicatie geweest over de saus op mijn broodje, dus ik belde er heen en kon direct terug komen. Eenmaal daar hadden ze een super deal gemaakt. Dus echt top en goede service! Aanrader 😁

Deli78 zit op de westermaat in Hengelo Deze firma heeft zich gespecialiseerd op het gebied van heerlijke broodjes de kwaliteit is geweldig en er word ook gretig gebruik van gemaakt door alle winkeliers.

Ik vond het pizza salami broodje echt heerlijk. Je moet wel een beetje lang wachten maar ik heb het er zeker voor over. Ik vond het niet te heet en niet te koud. Voor mij was het de lekkerste lunch die ik ooit heb gehad:)
