Røllesmølle in Wijk 00 Binnenstad

Tasty food, beautiful presentation, and friendly staff. A bit pricey to eat inside, though.

Top lunchroom, fresh and delicious. You can taste it in everything. Highly recommended.🌹🌹

Delicious lunches served with delicious drinks.

Excellent service, everything done with great care and attention to detail. August 2026 – and we did it again! ;)

Delicious sandwiches, soups, and coffee; the ladies are always very enthusiastic and know how to help you with the menu. It is very cozy and pleasant there, with a little corner for the kids. Time for me to stop by again for a cup of coffee.

Had a delicious meal, great service, nice location.

I like banana bread I don't know how much that costs

A nice and atmospheric place to stay

Such a great spot! Staff is caring, kind and the coffee is great!

Remains our favorite spot in Hengelo! The service is super, personal, and attentive. Food is delicious homemade, coffee is top-notch, and the vibes are homey. Highly recommended 👌 5 stars without a doubt

What a great and hospitable lunch place! We had a fantastic family get together for my mothers birthday and they organized an ‘alternative high tea’ with amazing food and drinks. Everything was delicious and fresh. The staff were so kind and welcoming and even gave flowers to my mother, it touched us. Could not have picked a kinder or better place than here.

Everyone is very friendly, the atmosphere in the cafe is very cozy and the food and drinks are all right and very tasty! I don't live in the Netherlands but I would definitely return just to eat the bread "humuuzz" again 😁.

Stopped by here for a cappuccino and smoothie on a sunny Friday afternoon. We were served very kindly by the staff, which immediately made a pleasant impression. A nice place to sit for a bit during our visit to Hengelo. It was also nice that the toilet was clean and tidy.

Nice place for lunch. Choice of wraps, salads, and sandwiches. Plenty of tables for 2. You do sit quite close together.

This place has been my favorite cafe in Hengelo for a very long time, mostly because there are not many proper cafes in Hengelo. The food is good and the atmosphere is cosy. But their prices have increased gradually and the regular size cappuccino is way too little amount, not worth that price. Also, the constant visits to the table, 3-4 times within 1.5-2 h to ask if we want something more after ordering toasts and two times drinks is a bit too much. It doesn't feel like a place to calmly sit and sip coffee anymore.

Fantastic, well-stocked salads and sandwiches. Delicious coffee, a truly lovely place!

Best chicken wrap ever. The staff radiates warmth, and you can really tell they enjoy working here. The decor is also very nice. Best place in Hengelo for lunch. Only downside: they're closed on Mondays.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. A reservation for 12 people was quickly arranged and handled perfectly. Excellent! Highly recommended for coffee, lunch, and the atmosphere!

We've been coming here for years, but I'd never written a review before. This is our favorite restaurant in Hengelo and the surrounding area. Delicious sandwiches and pastries, and excellent coffee. What's more, the service is always super friendly; you always feel welcome, and they're always very quick and attentive. I once called Røllesmølle an oasis of hospitality, and I still think so.

Very nice café, if you are searching for a cozy place to have a warm drink in.

The food was delicious and the service very friendly but a bit slow.

A cozy coffee shop with delicious coffee. Lunch was also very good, and everything is freshly prepared in an open kitchen. The staff is welcoming and professional, creating a homey atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

A lovely lunch café with a pleasant atmosphere. I came specifically for the cinnamon roll, but unfortunately, they only have it on Saturdays (it wasn't listed on the website). The pumpkin soup was also gone, which was a shame. I ended up opting for a different soup, banana bread, and cappuccino, which were thankfully very tasty! I also took some pastries home with me, which was really great.

Small shop with a nice atmosphere. Delicious, large toasted sandwich. Had to wait a bit longer, but it was worth it. I'll definitely be back.

Delicious coffee, nice ambience, friendly German-speaking service

Sometimes you have to wait a little longer, but it's totally worth it. The sandwiches are delicious!

Have guests change babies at a table in the restaurant. Hygiene isn't a top priority. Never come here again...

I just love everytime i go there. Everything its so yummy as it All prepared there, the sweets, hum, the best!!

Great concept, food and drinks took a very long time, chicken curry sandwich was fine

Cozy place for chilling with friends

It's always delicious, I've had the sandwiches, wrap and yoghurt, the service is friendly and the atmosphere is nice.

Had a super tasty tuna sandwich and the service was very friendly.

Very good sandwiches and coffee.

Very nice place with a pleasant atmosphere. Very nice girls working in service, possibility to communicate in different languages. Food at an affordable price, delicious looking and even better tasting. Very unique combinations of ingredients give the opportunity to taste something new. You can eat on site or take away. I have been back there several times and will definitely come back if there is an opportunity.

We wanted chicken sandwiches and hummes. This was Thursday. They no longer had that because the weekend had been busy. I think you can ensure that this is available again on Thursday. Selected other sandwiches. Were also tasty.

Had lunch at Røllesmølle during the lunch break. Because we didn't have much time, we indicated this immediately upon arrival. The service anticipated this very well by quickly taking the order and making the sandwiches quickly. I had a white rustic sandwich with vitello tonnato. The fricandeau was delicious, but there was not enough mayonnaise with tuna on it to call it vitello tonnato. I also thought the price of the sandwich was on the high side.

My all time favorite! Best coffee and sandwiches and more. Love for Lihilde and team

Pesto chicken sandwich, sandwich was still warm, very good sandwich. Friendly staff and nice place, will definitely come back. Went again today, this x salmon, still perfect, also the coffee.

How delicious it is, the girl from the staff is lovely! Very tasty and warm place 😊

Delicious coffee and good food too :)

Always delicious and fresh! I like coming there, the coffee is really good too. A change on the menu might be nice for once. But otherwise a really good place to be!

Very tasty food and good service Nice restaurant Keep it up

Always great!! We have been coming here for a long time with great pleasure🥰❤️

Fantastic!!! My favorite spot for the tastiest coffee and lunch. Nice, cozy atmosphere. Also a nice place to work as a self-employed person. Recommended!

Really friendly staff and amazing food.

Lovely & cozy place to try a delicious chai !

The perfect charging moment during the week!

Good food, nice atmosphere, 1 sandwich here is a whole meal, very generously filled.

How I enjoyed my lunch! Friendly service, tasty food and cozy place. Absolutely great! I have to come here more often 😁

Great, great, tasty, healthy sandwich. Good coffee! And there was a piece of home-made cake that we immediately bought for home, so tasty too! Small business but highly recommended!

The best coffee I have had in a long time!

Pleasant lunchroom, excellent menu and tasty dishes.

Good service and friendly staff. And very tasty food 😋. And it was great again.

I didn't think the food was special, it was green rolls from the bread shop. The coffee was very tasty. It looked very nice and cozy inside.

Gewelfig lekkere broodjes, stevig geprijsd!

Aanrader!

We komen hier altijd erg graag.

Leuke tent, leuke sfeer. Goede producten, vriendelijke bediening. Jullie gaan me vaker zien.

So yummy, I wish you were open every day!

Heerlijk gegeten, sfeervol servies, vriendelijk personeel.

The greatest coffee that I've had for a long time. Also the sandwiches are very tasty, breads are fresh and wonderful.

Heel gezellig, huiskamer effect, trendy, leuk. Lekkere grote broodjes.

Leuke broodjeszaak, mooie broodjes, fijne bediening.
