Great pizza! We visited on Wednesday evening, the lady was friendly and got us a table and the pizza was so good! Best I have had. We didn’t have any more pizza on our trip because it wouldn’t be beaten. Must visit!

The pizza was of outstanding quality — you can tell the pizzaiolo is a talented and passionate guy who really knows what he’s doing. As a true pizza lover who has tried countless pizzerias around the world, and specially in naples, I could feel the passion even in a simple Marinara. It’s the kind of pizza that truly reflects the quality of the ingredients used. A big thank you to the whole team for this wonderful experience — though I must say, the atmosphere felt a bit cold.

Delicious large pizzas from the brick oven. Open kitchen, so you can see everything clearly. Not 100 pizzas on the menu, but just 15 of their specialties and one calzone. We had a wonderful meal at the large picnic tables. Sometimes another couple would sit next to you, but there was plenty of space and privacy. The restaurant is small, cozy, modern, and homey, and the service is friendly. We enjoyed it.

I understand the cost of living in the Netherlands, but €16 for a Margherita pizza... Come on. The pizza was also of terrible taste and quality, and the waitress was extremely arrogant and rude. I strongly advise against it. I could understand that living costs in Amsterdam are extremely high, but €16 for a Margherita pizza is overpriced. Moreover, the pizza wasn't even good (a far cry from Italian standards), and the waiter's attitude was rude and arrogant. I would never recommend this pizzeria.

Simply perfection, one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, and I’ve had many of good ones, including in Italy! All ingredients are very fresh and of good quality, service was excellent and a lovely atmosphere, helped by how small this restaurant is. Highly recommended!

Top-notch pizzas! These are extremely rare and immediately remind you of your vacation in Croatia :) Why 4/5 stars? 1. The price is a bit high in my opinion – €12 for a pizza bread and €16 for a margarita. Sure, you can argue with the taste and preparation, but still – a little lower would be appropriate. Otherwise, really 10/10 pizzas. 2. I don't want to criticize anyone here, but I had the feeling the lady was making fun of me a bit – but I could have misunderstood that. But normally, I'm always very open to jokes, etc., and so I don't think I'm wrong. Conclusion: If you have the money – I recommend it!

Delicious, authentic Italian pizzas! You'll truly feel like you're in Italy. The prices are a bit high, but the fantastic flavors make up for it. They operate with a concept where you can only order pizzas, not appetizers or desserts. We were craving tiramisu so we got it elsewhere, even though we would have loved to have it at Di Luca. Perhaps they could expand their menu a bit more.

AMAZING pizza! One of the best pizzas I've ever had in Amsterdam, in a small, quiet place. Unfortunately, the waitress was very surly and rude. She was not only rude to us, but also to the customers who arrived while we were dining and after we left. It's a shame, because otherwise it's a great place with amazing pizzas.

Best pizzas I've had in Amsterdam! Aside from the pizza being good, the service is also amazing. You always feel tended to, in a friendly way. The Pizza Diavola is my favourite and what I recommend it anyone that I send here.

EDIT: I visited after the holidays. Very nice pizza and atmosphere. I heard many good things about it, came all the way from across town to try and it was closed with a sign that says they’re on holidays. Nothing on their website, Google says it’s Open. Still curious to try but it would’ve been nice to know in advance that they were closed.

Had a calzone here the other day. Very nice atmosphere, pizza was made ultra fast (literally few minutes after ordering), and was perfect. Would recommend and would go back here again. Additional star for being dog friendly, so 6/5 ⭐ from me

Pizza very good, unfortunately no other dishes. The environment was catastrophic...open garbage bags in front of the door...you could feel sorry for the owners.

The pizzas are VERY good, they tasted so authentic. The wine was algo good, the only reason it gets 4 stars it’s because even though we bough a hole bottle of wine, we still needed to pay for a bottle of water, they couldn’t give us tap water.

Got a pizza for the first time, everything looked neat, there was no sign anywhere that cash was not accepted. Pizza tasted good, but so extremely thin that it was not filling in any way. My 3-year-old son ate a whole pizza and then looked at me questioningly... never seen such a meager pizza before. Very expensive for a simple pizza.

I would say among the 5 best pizzas of my life, and I have eaten many pizzas in my life. Galactic dough, perfect leavening, soft and crunchy at the same time, even the thickness is super spot on. The only flaw is that they don't have desserts, a very particular choice.

High quality pizza: you can tell because they only have pizza options on the menu, and not a crazy number. No appetizers or desserts, which makes the quality of the pizza higher since that’s all they are focused on. We had the Tonno and the Margherita and both were very nice. Only note I had is the fresh tomatoes on the tuna pizza were not very flavorful, other than that it was perfect. Also one of the only pizzas I’ve had recently that didn’t keep me thirsty throughout the night, which is often the case but not this time. The restaurant itself is also very elegantly decorated!

A small restaurant with 4 large tables. There are only pizzas on the menu. No starters or desserts. We went here for my son's (Luca) birthday dinner. A table next to us also had a birthday boy and they had brought their own cake. Luca also got a piece of that. Delicious food. It doesn't happen at the same time, but it does happen in quick succession. We were outside again after an hour and that was exactly the intention.

Even without a reservation, we were lucky and got a table for three people. But it's better to make a reservation. The pizzas are really tasty and worth the price.

The pizzas were very good and freshly topped. Unfortunately there was only pizza. Even a small salad as a starter was not possible. It was unpleasant when the waitress sorted the garbage in the dining room and packed it in garbage bags. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant stay

Great pizza, great ambience inside, the view outside is rather so-so. Get a table inside without a reservation. It felt like 2 people threw the whole place. Hats off to you👍🏽

Pizza is very good, but the prices are a complete no sense. The Napoletana (not sure why is listed in "meat lovers") is 66% more expensive than the marinara, so you are basically charging additional €8 (EIGHT!!!) for olives, capers and anchovies. It's a complete insanity. And forget tap water, you can only get Panna or San Pellegrino, for "only" €7 per bottle. You easily end up paying €30 for pizza + water to eat in a place which is not in the city center, not easy to reach and that keeps prices super high because it doesn't have enough tables...

The pizzas were very tasty with great, high quality products but a bit overpriced. The person in service was very friendly and accommodating.

This is the third and last time we come here. After a long (birthday) day, I wanted to surprise my husband with one of his favorite Italian pizzas for his 30th birthday because it had been a while since we had been to DI Luca. We include standard Italian soft drinks with our order. This time we suddenly noticed that the expiration dates on the silver caps of the bottles had faded (in our opinion they had been deliberately wiped away with stuff because it involved several bottles). By shining some light on the caps, we saw that the bottles were more than a year and a month past their expiration date (!). A slightly younger girl (around 16 years old) who served us was also shocked and told us that they only had cola in the soft drink range that had not expired. According to her, the rest of the soft drinks in the refrigerator were also past their expiration date. Sales of this will continue until it is gone; new orders from Italy are no longer being placed due to... the poor sales of soft drinks and the upcoming holidays. As a final straw, my husband also received a broken, light green drinking glass on the edge. Good for injuries to your mouth. The older Dutch hard-working lady that we used to speak highly of did not even look at us, nor did she come to us to apologize. She was probably 'too busy' with guests at the table inside - whom she clearly knew well. A 'thank you' after I was already standing outside after paying was the only response. We are not guests who quickly shout for compensation or free consumption, but what an unpleasant experience this was. We give two stars because the young clerk even tried to do her job and the pizzas were okay. Hopefully you will learn a lesson from this.

Very nice pizza I have to say, and very nice service. The woman that was there to serve was very nice ans attentive with us. I would say she was around 50 long, and I love to see how she kept the nice spirit. Price: $$$ Quality: ♡♡♡♡ Staff: +10 Is not cheap but is worth to try if you around. You don't find every day wooden ovens. Recommended

It took thirty minutes to walk here, and it was worth it! They have a high-end Italian brick oven. The pizzas were delicious and I enjoyed trying a new cola from Italy. I would have like to been able to order a side salad, but this place is straight pizza. I would go back again. If you like spicey food ask for the chili sauce, it is delicious!

They serve a good pizza, but the dry and cold service might make you feel as if you are begging for a favour, which is a shame. I have been to Di Lucca many times and tonight we arrived there in a group of 5 people. After being mistaken by a group of Italians who had a reservation, we were not offered a table - although the place was not full, there was a table leaving and a couple occupying a table for six people. So we could have been accommodated with them, or at least we ask for it both in Dutch and English, but it was more on the “I don’t care to serve you” kind of service. As an extra “care”, the manager/owner didn’t refrain to complain to us about the group of Italians she was waiting for the reservation, by generalising and saying “they are always late”. It was not about us, but I’m absolutely not taking this kind of comment lightly. Full of prejudice while inside an Italian pizzeria... I’m refraining from suggesting this place to from now on.

One of those places you need to know it’s there. It’s just pizza but what amazing pizza! A cool, comfortable and hospitable restaurant , you walk in to see the smiling pizza chef and the wonderful pizza oven. Tables are canteen style. Menu is simple, food is fresh and affordable. I had pizza. Was super tasty and fresh, homemade pizza dough. Definitely worth a visit for honest, fresh, super tasty and filling pizza.

Best wood fire pizza in Amsterdam Noord. Sorry for other pizza makers there, but Di Luca is our family’s go to in the neighbourhood. I personally love Quattro Formaggio, and my son Buffalo Margherita. Thank you for the great pizza in this neighbourhood🙏

Had two pizzas picked up by a good friend yesterday. Pizzas were excellent and delicious, but even in 2023 in Amsterdam you really can't charge €38 for two vegetarian Neapolitan pizzas. This is extremely unfortunate.

The service wants better. I was asked not to occupy the second half of the table in an empty pizzeria, so that "other guests could also sit down." "Other guests" never came and now I understand why 🙈

The pizza they make is simply the best I've tried in Noord. Only Europizza comes close, but they are more on the experimental side of the spectrum. For Di Luca tradition comes first, the dough is ridiculously soft and the pizza isn't heavy at all. A shame that they don't do home delivery, the location is also not the best for most, but if you are in the area, you have to try it out! A bit steep also, last time I ate there a Margherita was 16eur, which is borderline outrageous. What a pizza though, pun intended.
