The best pizza I had in Amsterdam! It was served super fast, less than 5 minutes. Spectacular! ✨️

5 ⭐️stars for staff. The waitresses were really polite and friendly, the top point of the place. For sure they were just following orders with the answers (1h stay, 1 pizza per person, can’t share). After all that happened (please, read the whole review to understand) I was really hoping that at least the pizza could worth the wait and price (average pizza price nov/2024, so was expecting much more). ☹️ We arrived without a reservation as we were still thinking were to go (by the way, the website asks €10 for person to reserve a table). Upon arrival it was said that without a reservation, we would be able to say for 1h maximum. We ordered two “lemon juice” and a vegan pizza, the main reason of going to this place, as I had read many good reviews and there were 7 options. A few moments later the waitress returned saying the chef wanted us to order one pizza each, that we couldn’t share it. Usually we share as one pizza is too much (as you can clearly see the picture, half goes to waste as we are travelling, and we don’t think it’s good to waste food). As we didn’t have a reservation, we should have paid for the juices and went to the first place I had found earlier. Or even better to eat pasta at the same restaurant we went yesterday called Pasta Pasta (small place, fabulous fresh pasta and service). However we ordered two pizza as told, two marguerita, one of them vegan. The pizzas came quickly, looking beautiful but unfortunately not tasty, the dough was not light, not good. The vegan cheese was blend and tasteless, and nowadays there are good ones. If we would have had a good experience for sure we would return during our stay (a week), but after all that happened there is no way. Total waste of time and money.

As a Neapolitan, I wouldn't give it 5 stars because there are a few things that could be improved to be DOP, but it's really good and the highest quality in the city. Very nice atmosphere, friendly and courteous staff, average price, even a bit lower than some competitors. Definitely worth a try!

This place serves the best pizza in the town. You might have to wait a bit for your food to come to the table because it is usually crazy busy but it is defined worth the wait.

Good food and friendly waiters, ruined by ego in the kitchen and understaffing. I came here in a group of 3 people. We happened to decide on one starter, one main dish and one desert. When asked if we could get all the dishes at the same time, the waiter already warned us that the chef doesn't like to make different types of food at the same time, so there might be 5 minutes between the dishes. Sure. No problem. In the end the last person in our group got the food 2 hours after we got our table, 90 minutes after the starter had been served. Admittedly, the waiters were also clearly understaffed, but trying their best. In the end, I've never experienced a kitchen policy being so disastrous for the customer experience. Never again.

A clean, yet unpretentious place. The staff is Italian, and I'd say you'll see it when you bite into your first slice of pizza. Exceptional! Soft dough, light, quality toppings. People often say they shouldn't eat Italian food abroad because they'll be disappointed. In this case, it's quite the opposite! Definitely worth a try; better than many pizzerias in Italy!

Delicious pizza, tastes just like in Italy. Tried 2 different pizzas - San Daniele and A'Mort Soj - both were fantastic. Finished the dinner with great Tiramisu. Service was quick and nice.

Easily the best pizza I’ve had in Amsterdam, even rivalling some of my favourites in Italy! The dough is pure perfection: light, airy, and full of flavor. The toppings taste so fresh, it’s as if they’ve just arrived straight from the Italian countryside. You can’t go wrong with any of them, but Kala 2.0 is our all-time favourite. Gentle Dreams and the Vegetariana are also standouts. 🍕

True Neapolitan pizza, the best in all of Amsterdam and the staff is young and very friendly, highly recommended for eating an excellent pizza

Although the head chef/manager seemed really flustered and not welcoming .. the bartender/waiter was really fun and made our experience lighthearted. Good pizza and wine!

We've been here twice for dinner during our city trip. It was by far the best pizza of my life. And I've certainly eaten quite a few. Super friendly and relaxed service. Great location at the beginning of a pedestrian zone. Highly recommended.

The best pizza in Ams! Truly delicious with amazing vegan options. 4 starts because the service left a lot to be wished for. We waited 15 minutes to sit down (with reservation), 30 minutes to even order, and another 30 for pizza. Guys, please hire more staff ! 😊

Gross bathroom with no toilet seat or light. Can definitely tell that straight men own this restaurant. Takeaway orders not allowed and neither is dining alone apparently. I left without eating anything.

Really good pizza and nice covered outdoor seating area. The A’Mort Soj pizza was light (in the best way possible, like was not greasy nor did I feel heavy after eating it) and tasty. I liked the pistachio on top of the pizza, and the buffalo stracciatella was incredible. Very fresh basil garnish. I will definitely come back here to try more pizzas.

The taste was extremely good! Really fluffy, aromatic, and simply delicious! I would actually agree with the other opinions here. I suspect it was the best pizza I've ever eaten. BUT: The ambiance was really bad for me personally. But I also value that kind of thing. On the upper floor, all the walls were bare and somewhat damaged. There wasn't really any decoration either. The tables were pretty close together. And overall, it was rather unromantic. If you want delicious food, you definitely can't go wrong here. However, if you want to sit comfortably (e.g., on a date or for a fancy dinner, etc.), you should probably avoid this place.

One word: amazing!! Was already waiting to try the FRESH tuna pizza for a while and it did definitely not disappoint. Amazing crust of the pizza, amazing taste of ingredients and most of all the staff is really nice, friendly and thoughtful. Will definitely be back to try some other pizzas because there were too many options that we wanted to try. Make sure to bring some cash to be able to tip the staff as well :) The pizza on the bottom looks maybe weird, but it is because i was sharing the pizza with my sister and I don't eat meat but she does so they only did the meat on half the pizza. Another sign of amazing service

Super tasty pizza with a really fine, fluffy edge. The ambience gets a star deducted because the seating is very tight, the outside area is full with so many tables that guests had to get up so that the waitress could get to other tables. Unfortunately you have to wait more than 30‘ to get your food. Also the stuff isn’t very attentive/kind and let you also wait to order food and beverages.

The pizza itself might as well be one of the best in Amsterdam, ingredients are fresh, aubergines taste like aubergine (rare nowadays). However, the service is extremely hectic and have non-sense rules made to make more money but covered up as “pizzeria’s philosophy”. For example, we had to sit and eat outside on a chilly night because we had no reservation even though inside there were so many empty tables! What’s even funnier, they don’t do pizza-to-go because according to their philosophy, since they only want to serve a perfect pizza to the client, a pizza eaten at home would be cold and not perfect. And this was said to a guy while WE were eating outside with a pizza that got cold the minute after it was served. Come on guys, take it easier!! It’s a pizza, not the holy Bible :D

Pizza is great but service could be improved, especially for the tables outside. I have avoided this place for 1 year as the last time I waited sitting outside 40 minutes before leaving without being able to order. I came back today with the hope of a better service but I left again after more than 45 minutes without anybody taking my order. At least other 3 tables left the restaurant after waiting too long.

Horrible place for the following reasons: 1. They force guests to sit outside in the freezing cold unless they have a reservation. However, during our entire visit, majority of the tables inside remained empty. This seems like a deliberate tactic to make the terrace and front of the restaurant appear busier—at the expense of the customer. 2. We had the worst tiramisù ever. It was almost entirely biscuit with hardly any mascarpone, making it dry, cheap and flavorless. Worst Tiramisù I’ve had in my lifetime. 3. We ordered the Pizza 4 Pomodori, which is supposed to contain pecorino cheese. However, the amount was so minimal and thinly spread that it was practically undetectable (in vision and taste). It was essentially just dough and tomato sauce. No complaints about the dough. I always leave a tip, but due to these reasons, I simply couldn’t this time.

Chose this place from the Google reviews. It delivered on every level. Excellent pizza , cooked to the highest standard . They only serve pizza and Focaccia, which suited us just fine! The food was great, the only negative is the demand can’t be met from the service, but well worth sitting, relaxing and enjoying the pizza when it arrives! Great experience

Great food, great welcoming but terrible surprise by the end of the meal. We were in a big group of around 20 people, and one of the employees insisted that a single person should pay for all. We patiently explained that we should have individual receipts because we recently knew each other in a scientific meeting, and each person's lab would cover for the meal costs. He replied that this was not his problem and that we were only thinking about our sides and should have warned them in advance. It was a pretty embarrassing situation, and he refused to get the individual payments. Very unpleasant endind of a night, me and my colleague and I won't come back again.

I've been living in Amsterdam for 7 years, and this is by far the best pizza we had in the city. Even compared to the pizzas I had in Naples and other places in Italy, it was absolutely amazing! Thick dough on the edges and a good amount of high-quality mozzarella. We visited on a Sunday, a few minutes after opening. There were many seats available, and no reservation was needed. The staff was very friendly. Italian music was playing and was later changed to some 90s rock bangers, which we enjoyed. At one point, though, the music was a bit too loud, but it could be us getting older 🙈 Two things that could be improved: 1. The ability to add ingredients. In other places, we like to order a burrata on the side, and that was not an option here. 2. Could be nice to have some Garlic oil. Other than that everything was perfect and we will most definitely be back!

I witnessed concerning behavior from the owner. Employees were treated harshly—one was spoken to in an offensive manner, and another was unfairly blamed for issues related to tips. This treatment contributed to a negative work environment.

I feel completely robbed! I made a reservation and paid a deposit for three people, but when we arrived as a group of two, despite ordering plenty of food and drinks, they refused to count the third deposit toward our bill. This makes no sense—especially since we still spent a lot! Instead of appreciating a good customer, they chose to be unfair and keep money for a person who wasn’t even there. Terrible policy and terrible service. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values fairness.

I was disappointed by the service and attitude of the staff. We had a reservation (3P.) for which we had to pay a deposit of €30. Due to an honest mistake we were unable to take the table (one guest had a celiac disease and confused two restaurants). The waiter, even after explaining, did not want to release the deposit. Part of it would have been fine as well. We therefore had to pay 30€ for no dinner at all. Not very human. So go there, if you don’t have any problems or issues fine. But if you have a problem. Be aware. They are lacking customer friendliness.

Terrible Customer Service – Unbelievable Experience! I made a reservation through the restaurant’s website, selecting the date and time and paying a €20 deposit for two people. After completing the booking, I double-checked the details and realized that I had mistakenly chosen today’s date (January 30, 2025) instead of my intended date, February 8, 2025. Realizing my error immediately, I called the restaurant within five minutes to explain the situation and ask for a correction. However, the way they handled my request was absolutely shocking! They showed zero understanding, refused to modify the reservation, and essentially kept my €20 without any flexibility or customer care. Mistakes happen, and I reached out right away in good faith. Yet, their attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. I have never experienced such poor treatment as a customer. It’s astonishing that they are willing to damage their reputation over such a minor issue. Very disappointing – I will definitely not be returning, and I cannot recommend this place to anyone who values fair and respectful customer service. I can not say annything to the food

Good dough. In itself good pizza. But the service was rude. A bit of background. I'm vegetarian. So I do want cheese on my pizza but the pure vegetarian pizza doesn't have nice ingredients - as always everywhere. So I decided to take another one and remove one part - the meat obviously. The waitress said that against their policy, their culture, and they cannot do that. She said that they know which combination of ingredients are the best and we should trust their expertise. I do understand that but if a customer says he wants this pizza just leave one part out who cares? That wasn't nice and I was not amused from the start. Don't get me wrong pizza wise it's a really really good place. But this attitude I don't support so that's why 2 stars. And I will not go there anymore.

Had a wonderful evening out. We were a mix of vegan, vegetarian and no restriction diners and there was a great selection for everyone. Staff were friendly and service was great. Pizza's were awesome and we will definitely go back again.

Simply the pizza in Amsterdam. Starting from the dough; a perfect balanced Napoli style dough. Authentic ingredients mixed in a creative way. The pizzaiolo is literally a chef. Try and die.

Our experience was disappointing from the start. I had reserved a table in advance, even leaving a 20-euro deposit— super unusual and unwelcome policy for a pizza place (you cannot even simply cancel or modify the reservation!). Upon arrival, however, the waiter was unaware of our reservation, leaving us standing around for 13 minutes while they sorted it out. No priority was given to people who booked in advance, it is simply followed the first come, first served policy. When we were finally seated, it was at a cramped table. One table next to us was noticeably higher, and they were so close, in fact, that my boyfriend had someone’s elbow practically grazing his face throughout our meal. The one upside: the pizza arrived quickly. However, as I began eating, I noticed a hair beneath my pizza on the plate. I discreetly said it to the staff, expecting at least one kind gesture for the inconvenience. Obviously, we stopped eating after that, and even though it was/is clear to everyone that the hair wasn't supposed to be there, I had to pay full price for it.

I am very picky with food and pizza in particular, but this place is top! The ingredients are carefully chosen, the dough is perfect, they have an open kitchen and you can see how they make the pizza (sometimes the chef can steal your attention). Overall, if you’d like to have a chill dinner with friendly and professional service, high-quality food, then this is your go-to restaurant in Amsterdam. P.S they don’t do take-away/delivery so that already proves how authentic the place is and only focused on the experience and taste

Sit at a table downstairs, you can watch the pizzas being made! The staff is really friendly, in my opinion it's one of the best pizza places in Amsterdam. The dough is so fluffy and crispy and great, they're generous with the toppings. Will definitely come back here. You really can't make a wrong choice with the options they have on the menu.

The quality of the pizza is truly wonderful. I always recommend this place to my friends who are looking for an authentic Italian pizza in Amsterdam.The prices are fair considering the location and the ingredients. Service was great! Fast and the waitress was very nice! The only thing I really disliked was the music. I want to say this as a constructive critique since I really do love this place. The music was just terrible and so so loud for no reason. It just didn’t match the vibe of the place. I could barely have a conversion as if I was in a club … It’s important to keep in mind that music taste is really subjective, so blasting Italian pop music is not ideal. Everything else was great though so keep it up!
