We had such a great experience. The staff was wonderful and super knowledgeable about celiac. The gluten free pasta was soooo good!!!

We are regular customers here, Josh Grix is a huge fan of this place and loves italian food, he says its yummy yummy and everyone should come here - “best italian ever”

We had dinner at Cafe Piazza. We received a wonderful welcome and were allowed to choose our own table. The service was incredibly friendly and professional. They even had a special menu for people with gluten intolerance. The food and drinks were excellent. We give it full marks and would gladly return. We can wholeheartedly recommend it.

Walked for 25mins in torrential rain and gusty winds to get here from our hotel - but was well worth it! My Mum & I were only in Amsterdam for 1 night and I'm Celiac so always research where i can eat. Chose here based on my research. The staff were so welcoming to me and my 80 year-old Mum. They took good care of us. Having so much choice of dishes I could actually eat was amazing. The only other place that's beaten this in the 25 years since my diagnosis is (but, sadly closed down) Lucy's in the Lake District, in UK. I chose the lasgane and it was wonderful. I ordered the tiramsu for pudding, even though i didn't really have room - just because I could, and we were treating ourselves! I was also really happy to see an organic wine (rose) on the menu, and had a glass, which was v nice too. My Mum also enjoyed her food. So, I highly recommend this place if you are gluten free/celiac. I'd love to come back when I next visit Amserdam.

Fantastic little italian spot. The restaurant is right on the canal with a lovely atmosphere. The gluten free menu is massive and you are given a red napkin instead of white so all the servers know you have an allergy (which I think is really useful). The food was delicious and service all round was 10/10.

Only came here based on the gluten free recommendations. Yes they were careful and had a separate menu, red napkins to show it's gluten free. But the food was rubbish, no atmosphere and the staff were clearly tired and ready to go home. I wouldn't go again, but I didn't get glutened, so if you just want a safe gluten free meal then go for it but don't have high expectations on flavour. Also very expensive, probably because of the central area.

We went for dinner as a couple and it was a great experience. We ordered two pizzas and two drinks. We made a reservation the day before, although when we went (Wednesday), they had free seats and it probably wouldn't have been necessary.

As a Gluten free eater I was delighted to find this restaurant with a great menu!! The guys were so lovely. Food was great!

This restaurant is always a safe bet when we visit Amsterdam. Great food, often updated with new items. This time, they added amazing desserts. Most importantly, everything is always prepared with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend it.

Excellent gluten free options/service! The menu does explicitly state it, but the pizza is not celiac-safe. Everything else in the gluten-free menu is safe. The food was good overall, but the pasta could have been cooked a minute or two longer longer.

For sure a tourist restaurant, but good staff and good food. Worth a try, especially with kids.

Highly recommend. The restaurant is small and lovely. I am celiac and I ate here with a friend. The first thing the server asked was if there were any food allergies. I got a red napkin to identify as gluten free and a separate menu which was completely gluten free. I had the homemade lasagne and the gluten free tiramisu and it tasted excellent.

We arrived around 6:30 p.m., which was very quiet and had pleasant background music. The gluten-free pasta with scampi and Parmesan was delicious. There's a separate allergen menu, and when you order, you're asked directly if you have any allergies. The staff was very friendly.

The pizzas are not good because their gluten-free dough is bland and cardboardy. Bad experience because we saw a rodent like a small rat or mouse wandering along the stairs. This is really not what you want to see in a restaurant. The service is passable.

Our favourite restaurant in Amsterdam!! So much so we ate there twice in one week. My wife and I have food allergies and they take it very seriously especially for Gluten Free. The food is the highest quality. The best home made lasagna I have ever had in a restaurant. The desserts were great as well. The staff were the very best. If you are looking for a quality meal with incredible service look no further!!

Very pretty decor. Super friendly, even downright adorable service (which makes it easy to accept the insistence on tipping!). Fast too. The wines are acceptable. Everything is very clean. The downside is the quality of the pizzas. Very sparsely topped. The dough resembles the plastic-wrapped pizzas you buy in supermarkets. Bland, tasteless, undercooked. The ingredients are cheap (low-end salami, mushrooms that look like canned ones). In short, the experience is pleasant but certainly not gourmet...

Not a recommendation, small portions at exorbitant prices. The pizza barely has any roasted flavor and tastes more like it came from the snack bar around the corner. A disappointment :((

It's a small restaurant but with really great food and super nice staff! We were with a group of 20 people and all the food came at the same time! Also the location is great! Really had a nice experience :-D

Amazing gluten free pasta. I had the carbonara (gluten free as I am celiac) and it was lovely. My partner, not gluten free, has the Carni pizza and loved it. It was light and not greasy at all but full of flavour Would highly recommend to anyone who is gluten free or celiac. I was given a separate menu and a red napkin to indicate I was gluten free.

A good place to eat if you're celiac, with plenty of variety. The menu states that everything is suitable for celiacs, except for the pizzas, which are cooked in the same oven as the gluten-free pizzas (I think it's great that they clarify this because you feel safe). I had pasta with shrimp, so delicious!!! If I return to Amsterdam, I'll definitely eat there again.

My family and I came in really late. A server I believe was named Rodrigo let us stay late, and he was super nice. The food was amazing and the service was even better!!

Delicious pizza at a small but lovely restaurant! The pepperoni pizza was perfect -- a relatively thin (but not dry or cracker-like) crust, tasty sauce, perfect amount of cheese. The servers were all very friendly and helpful.

The BEST Italian food we’ve ever tasted. If you’re in Amsterdam, definitely go to this restaurant. If you’re lucky enough to have the Spaghetti alla Parmigiana on the specials, it was delicious. A real gem of a place

We had dinner there last Saturday. As positive things, they give the importance it deserves to gluten intolerance, and there is gluten-free pasta, and gluten-free pizza (they also warn you that they do not assure you of traces) and they serve you correctly. As negative things, the place is so dark that it is uncomfortable and the tables are very close together. The food is very average and it took them a long time to serve us and between courses. We get a bittersweet feeling

Penne carbonara felt like they were heated up in a microwave. A bit crusty top while very hot inside of the dish definitely supported this feeling. Penne were also not made but bought and were not the best quality, felt a bit hard to chew. Not sure about pizzas but pasta definitely did not feel like a proper Italian pasta.

I have celiac disease and after requesting gluten free and eating I had a severe reaction. I didn't eat out expect for this restaurant so I know it was eating here. I would never go back.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a specific gluten-free menu. In this case, I ordered a starter, a pizza, and a tiramisu to share. Gluten-free pizzas are expensive, with an extra charge, which in my opinion is a bit excessive. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

Good Italian restaurant with good value for money. There is a choice on the menu, and the dishes are well prepared. Small detail to note: the wine remains open without a cork, which can be surprising. But overall, a good place to taste good Italian dishes!

Delicious pasta here, although the prices were a bit higher than expected. Good pizza too! The only reason for 4 stars would be because the chef in the kitchen made animal noises here and there, it weirded us out a little bit.. But would come back.

Un restaurante realmente encantador para la cena. El personal era muy amable y servicial. Como celíaco me dieron un menú específico en un encuadernador rojo, y una servilleta roja junto a mi servilleta real. El menú indica claramente que las pizzas no son aptas para celáicos ya que se cocinan en el mismo horno, por lo que me sentí confiado en que la pasta estaría bien. Había una variedad de opciones y la pasta que tenía era muy sabrosa. El menú de postres parecía igualmente apetitoso, pero no terminamos teniendo uno.

We had a good experience at this Italian restaurant. We ordered the Tuna Pizza, which was good, and the Pollo Pizza, which was okay but not exceptional. The Tiramisu was delicious, and the Winter Tea was also enjoyable. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was friendly. Overall, a good place .

Review Separate gluten free menu. Pizza cooked in same oven space as non gf, but that’s written on the menu. All other option are coeliac friendly (salads, pastas, etc). I went for the Gluten free pizza anyway and had no reaction (as a coeliac). The pizza was perfectly cooked, definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The service was excellent, it was quiet when we arrived so got seating downstairs. I would highly recommend visiting as a coeliac or other!

I had the cheese platter that was really dissapointing. Did not contain parmesan or pecorino and only had cheap cheeses on it Main dish i got a pesto pasta but the pesto tasted like the pesto you get in the store Presentation of dishes was good but i wasn't that excited about the food.

Fuimos como nuestra comida final en Amsterdam. Los asientos de los restaurantes están divididos arriba y abajo, no hay ascensor que vi, así que tenga en cuenta para los usuarios de sillas de ruedas. La comida era muy agradable, pero de ninguna manera la mejor comida italiana que he probado. Volvería si otros quisieran ir pero no lo eligieran yo mismo. La decoración era preciosa y el personal era amable.
