Went here for an evening dinner with a group of 6, we were accommodated for very well, and the pizzas, as well as tiramisu were delicious. What surprised me the most is the super attentive service by our waitress - always discreetly checking up on ours as well as other tables. We never had to wait to place our orders or wonder how to get a waiters attention, which is what my experience has been in most restaurants in the Netherlands. On top of that the wine selection can make you happy even at the lowest price point.

My sister and I had such a great time! We started with the bruschetta mista, and we knew right away we'd chosen a good restaurant. It was delicious and generously topped. When we made our reservation, we mentioned that I eat gluten-free, and they also immediately indicated that the starter wasn't gluten-free. Not a big deal for me, as I have a mild intolerance, but it's good that they're aware of it. They also mentioned this with dessert. It's a comforting feeling that several staff members are so aware of this, especially if you have a severe intolerance. My sister received the wrong pizza, but this was quickly resolved, and we were offered a free drink. We explained that this wasn't necessary and that we were thoroughly enjoying ourselves. My pizza with a gluten-free crust was also delicious. For dessert, we had two scoops of ice cream and tiramisu, which were on the house. The staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was nice, and the food was delicious. I definitely recommend going here. Don't forget to make a reservation, as it gets packed!

Super tasty pizza with a thick base

I’d heard a lot about this place so we had to try it out whilst we were in Amsterdam. The restaurant is right by the canal so it was a lovely walk there and gorgeous views too. We were seated very quickly and drinks/food also arrived in good time. I ordered the melanzane alla parmigiana for a starter and the tartufo pizza (parma ham, rocket, truffle cream). Both were amazing! The waiters were knowledgeable about allergies and assured me that the gluten free pizzas were prepared in a separate area with gloves and separate boxes of toppings, and cooked in a separate oven! This was the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. The service here was great and the prices were some of the more reasonable prices we’ve seen in Amsterdam.

Went here for dinner with a friend. It's a lovely, central location with an Italian atmosphere and delicious pizza, which is quite different from what we're used to. Appearances are important, and that's certainly the case here: pizza that looks like a work of art and is also delicious. Definitely recommended!

We booked online as we saw in reviews it was busy and we were right to do so. They were very busy and had lots of take away pizzas too. We had a gluten free pizza (buratta) and a regular (salami). Both thought they were very tasty, very thin crust. The gluten free is suitable for coeliacs as it is cooked in a separate oven and prepared in a separate area (staff confirmed this). Overall a nice pizza and ok service! Would like some other gluten free dessert options other than panacotta.

Came in on a recommendation and were not disappointed! Enjoyed the stracciatella salad, the tartufo blanco, and diavalo pizzas. Pizza was light and airy, with an amazingly bubbly crust considering how flat the rest of the pizza was (in a good way). Ingredients so fresh that when combined with the above we felt like we could eat that pizza for days! Also washed everything down with a decaf coffee and delicious tiramisu. If you’re in the mood for pizza in Amsterdam then you should stop here.

I came for dinner with my partner and we were served by Fay and Anouk the food was lovely and there was plenty of pizza choice for me as I am gluten free and it was the best gluten free pizza dough I’ve ever had. Fay and Anouk were amazing, polite and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Excellent pizza in Amsterdam! They also offer gluten-free dough. It's outside the city center, but it's worth the walk to eat such a good pizza abroad. The service was excellent and very fast. The ingredients were very good. The price is a little high, but we're abroad, so it's acceptable, especially considering the quality of the pizza. A pizza with prosciutto and truffle cream is €18-20.

So I heard this place from a lot of people and I went without making any reservations. I thought, I think it was on a Saturday. There was like a 10-minute wait, I would say, but that was like an unnecessary wait, I think. So you just go and queue and then whenever they notice you, they give you a table. Them noticing you is the hard part 🤓 Anyways, the service is really nice, they're proper Italians, like the kitchen staff speaks Italian to each other, and the pizza was so, so good. I had the one that got the award, I forget what it was called, it's with the really crispy aubergines. From a sensory perspective, it was really, really nice, because the aubergine cut gives a super nice crunch to the pizza and also a really nice flavor. I would definitely go again. Also nice location, outdoor seating has a cute view and you can also order to go.

Highly recommended for celiacs. They have many gluten-free starters, the pizzas are delicious, and the waiters are very attentive to the whole gluten issue. We had a very pleasant dinner.

We had a wonderful meal at Loulou Pizzabar! 🍕🐰 We recently had dinner with the family at Loulou Pizzabar in Amsterdam, and what a wonderful experience it was! The terrace is cozy and perfect for relaxing, especially when the sun is shining ☀️! The pizza Napoletana I had was absolutely fantastic – crispy crust, rich tomato sauce, and a good balance of flavors. My girlfriend chose the Insalata Arabica, a surprisingly fresh and tasty salad with a Middle Eastern twist – definitely recommended if you're looking for something different than pizza. The kids loved their bunny-shaped pizza 🐰 – complete with a face! Not only fun to look at, but also delicious to eat! They enjoyed it too! In short: friendly staff, a nice atmosphere, delicious dishes with excellent ingredients, and child-friendly. We will definitely be back!

The dough and toppings are very good, and the pizza is close to Neapolitan style, with a soft, high crust. We had to wait around 45 minutes for our pizzas, even though it was a weekday and not very busy, which was a bit disappointing. Prices are on the higher side, but that’s quite standard in Amsterdam. On the bright side, they also offer vegan cheese as an alternative to mozzarella, which is a nice touch.

Super delicious pizzas. The dough itself is worth it, but the toppings are also rich and delicious. We come here regularly; it's the perfect place for a delicious meal before a night at the theater, for example.

Well, well, well, where do I start? I had heard great things about this place along the grapevine. I’m clued up in that way. We needed a gluten free meal, which they do here. I cannot fault the food itself, it was very tasty and hit the spot. We waited long enough for it, let me tell you THAT! 1 hour until our drinks came… I’m not even exaggerating. Then another 10 minutes or so until our food came. The couple next to us had the same issue. It did seem like a problem just us and they were having though, everyone else’s food was coming out at a good pace, so maybe it was just an error. Either way, I cannot give a review from the view of others, only from my own experience and that of those who sat at my table. PS: also the tables are crammed together, we felt like the people next to us were listening to our conversations, I know we were listening to theirs ;)

Really good Neapolitan pizza which is also available in gluten free version. As a wheelchair user I needed a little help to get to the interior of the restaurant but you can also sit outside. Recommend a reservation.

I went to this pizzeria and I have to say it was an amazing experience! I saw the staff working incredibly fast, with impeccable and super quick service. The manager, Caterina, even more beautiful than I remembered, welcomed me with a smile. I know this place well because I used to work here, and after a year I came back to enjoy a pizza… well, I can tell you that “Ti Voglio Bene” is one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life! For me, Neapolitan pizza beats them all: it’s the number one in Amsterdam. And I’m saying this as a Neapolitan pizzaiolo, Ciro Giuliano, who has visited many pizzerias. Here, the dough is super light and the flavor is truly authentic. Congratulations to the boss, Thofil, and to the whole team – you’re amazing!

One of my favorites pizza places in Amsterdam! Last night got the chance to take my mom, who’s celiac and she finally managed to eat pizza again in a safe environment as they have a different oven to cook the pizza. Even though it took a bit longer for the GF pizzas to arrived, the waitress was incredibly nice and very attentive always telling us the status of it and even offer us some drinks on the house to make up for the wait. I can say that the wait was fully worth it after trying the pizzas:)

Great food, I would definitely recommend it

Went for the pizza which was delicious but was disappointed by the service speed, price, the squeezed in table space on the slanted sidewalk. I even saw one person failing onto the road. The super thin base of the pizza combined with a very poor knife, which is unfortunately very necessary because the thin base can't hold anything, made the whole eating experience a bit awkward. Less tables outside and better knifes could already improve things significantly.

We had a wonderful meal at Loulou Pizzabar! Besides regular pizzas, this restaurant also serves delicious gluten-free pizzas. It's very difficult to find good gluten-free pizzas anywhere, so this was a real treat! The crust was crispy and the flavor was excellent. Almost all dishes on the menu and pizzas were gluten-free, and the staff was very helpful in indicating which dishes weren't available. The pizzas were all a little different from what you might order at a typical pizzeria, which made the experience even more special. The selection of gluten-free desserts was limited, but I didn't mind. I even saw gluten-free beer on the menu. My table companions, who had regular pizzas, also found theirs very tasty. This restaurant is highly recommended for everyone!

I expected more based on the reviews, but we had to wait a very long time for our food and a large piece of my calzone was charred. Don't sit closest to the sidewalk, as you're sitting at a very slanted angle there.

The food was either too dry or too oily and service unfortunately a bit less. I had to ask twice where our food was and people who came 45 min later got served before us (we had two simple pizza’s). I actually think they forgot about us. My gf asked for the chilly oil and I had to ask twice after that before we actually got it (we got a bottle of garlic oil before someone brought the right one) Location is amazing with a lovely view

I'm very sensitive to the way the staff interacts with each other; I found it very respectful and mutually supportive! ☆☆☆☆☆ Due to digestive issues, I always have some questions and requests. They took the time to address them, and I was taken very seriously! Later, I witnessed another guest's diet being discussed; he wasn't there. This too was discussed very unconditionally and seriously. ☆☆☆☆☆ My choice was the 4-formaggi; I had selected Loulou's online with certain conditions. These were completely met. Especially the balance of the flavors of the four cheeses, including the gorgonzola, was clearly present. Delicious. The crust was just as I'd hoped, and the walnuts for a crunchy bite were a surprising bonus. Moreover: the outdoor terrace is a lovely spot on a bike path where only a few cars pass by! The Amstel completes the whole thing beautifully!

2 adults and two kids eating early dinner. It’s a popular place, so unless you show up when they open, I recommend table reservations. All pizzas were very delicious and well prepared. The gluten free pizza Margarita was “the best I’ve ever had” according to my son. (See the picture) Drinks were good, although in the higher end price wise.

YUMMM! The pizza base is incredibly delicious. I feel like it would still taste good even with no toppings (the toppings are also amazing of course). I'm just disappointed we didn't have any leftovers so me to eat this morning! Thank you!! We will be back :)
