Ik heb jaren niet zo goed gegeten; zeer vriendelijk en kundige bediening. Leuke ongedwongen sfeer en een fijne ambiance.

Heerlijk eten bij Diepnoord. Ik kom hier graag. Kleine gerechten met verrassende combinaties en supersmaken. Ook de (rode) wijn smaakt goed. Aanrader!!

Fantastische locatie. Erg gezellige en gemoedelijke sfeer. Heerlijk buiten kunnen zitten met klasse gerechtjes om te delen. Zeker de ceviche van makreel was verrukkelijk.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten in dit gezellige restaurant. De sfeer is ontspannen en het personeel was erg attent. We kregen goed advies over de aanbevolen hoeveelheid gerechten voor drie personen. Elke keer als we een gerecht hadden opgegeten, werd het volgende geserveerd. Ze hielden onze wensen goed in de gaten. We gaan hier zeker nog een keer naartoe.

Nice evening with friends (5 total) ate here. The dishes must be shared and it is recommended to order 2.5 dishes per person during the evening. The dishes are on the high side and often consist of 3 or 4 pieces (difficult to share with 5), but taste incredibly good. My feedback would be that for a small additional charge you will receive 1 or 2 extra pieces so you can share. Service was good, but I think it's a shame that they describe the dish as 'this is very nice'! We sat inside because of the rain, but it was really noisy. I couldn't hear half of what was said at the table due to the amount of noise.

My visit to Diepnoord was an absolute disaster from start to finish. We didn't go in with high expectations, but the experience fell shockingly below even the lowest standards. To begin, the two small starters of Comté, ham, and bread were merely fine. However, the main dishes were horrendous. The salad with feta was so bitter it was practically inedible. The steak tartare was bland and generic, utterly devoid of flavor. The pasta with tiger shrimp was undercooked, making it impossible to enjoy. What truly ruined the experience, though, was the appalling service. When I notified the staff about the issues with our meal, their only response was a dismissive "thanks for letting us know." No apology, no effort to make things right—just an indifferent acknowledgment that left us feeling ignored and frustrated. To top it all off, I paid €95 for this nightmare of a dining experience. Not only did I leave feeling nauseous, but I also felt thoroughly disappointed and regretful of my choice to dine at Diepnoord. This is the first time in my life that I have taken the effort to write a negative review, which should give you an idea of how terrible this experience was. The poor service compounded the terrible food, making it one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. Avoid this place at all costs.

I recently dined at Diepnoord Place and, unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. The service was quite lacking; the staff seemed inattentive and indifferent. Additionally, there was no detailed/clear explanation of some dishes and drinks, leaving us unsure about what we are drinking/eating. When the food arrived, the quality and taste were disappointing and did not justify the high prices. Overall, I found Diepnoord Place to be underwhelming and would hesitate to recommend it.

Yes! This is what you want. Amazing food, great wines, and a very nice atmosphere. Recommended.

Helaas was mijn ervaring bij Diep Noord teleurstellend. De porties waren te klein voor de prijs die gevraagd werd. Daarnaast vond ik de prijs per glas wijn erg hoog in verhouding met de hoeveelheid die geschonken werd. De service was matig en het personeel had niet veel aandacht voor ons. Al met al geen aanbeveling

Beautiful place with difficult dishes in small portions for a good price. Hip, but it's not worth the high bill.

What a wonderful food, vibe and wines! Creative combinations that will kick your taste buds. And there is a big choice of really great wines 👌will be coming back for sure.

Delicious food, nice dishes with tasty combinations, many in season and good ingredients. Some dishes lacked fresher flavors, but perhaps we didn't choose well. Portions also sufficient. Service is a bit messy, perhaps due to no fixed service per table, so there is always a different face at the table, which means that drinks do not always get through properly, which is a shame. Could be a little tighter for this price. Double tables at the back are also very close to each other, which does not benefit the acoustics.

Een tafel direct aan een fietsenrek toegewezen krijgen, zet wellicht de toon van de avond. De rest van de avond stond in het teken van onmogelijkheden en middelmaat. We waren met 4 volwassenen en twee kleine kinderen en vroegen of de kinderen hun hoofdgerechtje met onze starters konden krijgen. Dat bleek voor de keuken absoluut onmogelijk, want we moesten onze starters dmv shared dining met elkaar eten en pas daarna kon het hoofdgerechtje komen. Overigens kregen andere tafels wel hetzelfde hoofdgerecht al uitgeserveerd, dus blijkbaar was er voldoende voorraad in de keuken. Daarop cancelden we de starters en gingen direct naar het hoofdgerecht dat op zijn zachtst gezegd nogal teleurstellend was na alle positieve reviews. Een nogal vettige aubergine domineerde, daaromheen wat onbestemd ander voedselprut. Gebracht als vernieuwend, maar niets om over naar huis te schrijven. De bediening leek onderling niet te communiceren, waar de ene serveerster aangaf dat er een probleem was in de keuken en we de hoofdgerechten niet tegelijk zouden krijgen, kregen we 5 minuten later van een andere serveerster alles op tafel met de mededeling at er niets aan de hand was in de keuken. Het nagerecht hebben we maar laten zitten. Al met al: geen goed eten, geen goede bediening, geen klantvriendelijkheid, geen aanrader.

I was incredibly satisfied with my visit here. Everything I ordered was delicious and the portions were fair. Wine was of great quality and enjoyed the atmosphere. Was definitely worth the visit and will be coming back!

Amazing experience here both dining and service wise! The menu is small and seasonal, very varied and great combinations flavour and texture wise. It is a very fine dining experience in a more relaxed and at a somewhat cheaper price. Portion sizes are good for the price and dishes come through very quick even on busy weekend nights. Our server was attentive and sweet, she also gave us great wine recommendations. Definitely would recommend to others and come back soon again!

On January 30, 2023 I made a reservation to eat at Diepnoord. The glowing review in the AD and the fact that my girlfriend and I were going to sign our cohabitation contract at the notary the next day, brought us to this restaurant. Upon arrival at the nice restaurant we were helped by two Italian-speaking waiters, which appealed to my Italian girlfriend. Two good glasses of wine and when the food arrived on the table, we were actually unpleasantly surprised. For me, the Jerusalem artichoke puree had no flavor and as far as I'm concerned, Brussels sprouts should be al dente, but these were marbles. When the waiter asked if it tasted I was clear. To ease the suffering, she gave us some bread with a spread. When I gave a piece of bread to my friend, she took one bite and said: “Non e buono”. I understood, I don't like it. She meant, it's not good. Unfortunately I have eaten two pieces of bread. The dessert with Jerusalem artichoke ice cream did not really appeal to us either. Just didn't put enough effort into the taste. As far as we are concerned, a missed opportunity. Once I got home, I didn't feel well after an hour. Wrong stuff. Vomited at night. I emailed the restaurant and have not received a response after 5 days. Then I called again and was immediately told that this could not have been due to their food. An hour later I was called again, where I was told that they had spoken to "all customers" that evening and that no one else had become ill... Well, the choice is yours.

Delicious snacks beforehand. Pleasant atmosphere. Menu is fine. Too bad the bistro is now closed on Sundays.

Have eaten here twice already. Special dishes and surprising flavors :)

Delicious food, friendly service in a charming restaurant. Beautiful and special dishes. Diepnoord is a must for the foodie.

Another fantastic meal at Bistro Diep Noord... highly recommended! I always like to come back here. This time with a whole meat for a birthday and then around 60 pp. Once again, friendly service and they don't have a bad seat at the bar either. Don't forget to try their bread it's soooo delicious and still warm!

Some dishes were prepared with little care. The mussel dish is a disaster. Sometimes we had to wait a very long time for the next dish. Then three or four dishes were deposited on the table. The service seemed rushed. The portions were too small (smaller than the last time I ate here). You have to pay a lot for all this. Price-quality ratio is poor. Shame. A year ago I gave you a very good grade.

Delicious food and different types of wine. A pearl in Rotterdam North. In addition, great service. In short, highly recommended. We will eat here more often!

Hier voor de 2e keer gegeten en wederom was het eten heerlijk. Echter mijn tafelgenoot en ik hebben niets met shared dining dus we aten elk afzonderlijk ons bordje leeg. Dat is minder gezellig. Alleen het toetje kregen we gelijktijdig. Heerlijk eten en prima wijn voor een goede prijs(90 euro p.p)

Very nice tent, good atmosphere. The dishes were well thought out with high quality ingredients, however, they were over-flavored. Still tasty, but after 4 dishes - with two people - we were done with it. The service was very friendly, but made mistakes (forgot orders several times and made a mistake on the bill).

Didn't make a reservation, but the 4 of us got a spot at the bar and enjoyed it. Surprising and tasty dishes, good portions and great service. A very friendly, attentive and relaxed team of staff.

Wel heel veel mensen per m2; mede hierdoor is het geluid overweldigend en is het moeilijk een gesprek voeren met elkaar. Bediening is aardig maar heeft nog echt heel veel te leren, bijvoorbeeld rondom verwelkomen gasten. Eten is duidelijk met zorg bereid en heel redelijk, maar prijs-kwaliteit-verhouding is onvoldoende, zeker doordat gemiddelde eters minimaal 3 gerechtjes p.p. zullen eten, betaal je wel heel erg veel geld voor een eetcafé.

Heerlijk gegeten! De sfeer is fijn, de drankjes lekker (vooral de basil drop), de bediening aardig en bekwaam. Kortom, ik kom hier zeker terug!

Waanzinnig lekker gegeten. We hebben de hele kaart geproefd. Echt creatieve en bijzondere gerechten met stuk voor stuk een perfecte balans in smaak en textuur. Niet goedkoop, maar absoluut de moeite waard!

The ambience here is to die for! The food here is to kill for! Absolutely amazing experience.

Visited with a group of 7 people and had the set menu which was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is really cozy and invites for a really good time. The food was a highlight! But not the most diverse wine list (very few options for red).We also brought a cake for the birthday from outside and celebrated for a small fee of 1eu per person. We got ample food by the end of the night but, maybe something to improve with the group menu is that some dishes were so small and the table only got 2 servings per dish to share with 7 people which gave everyone barely a bit of the dish. Maybe an idea to at least do 3 servings per dish so that 2-3 people can share max? And not 1 serving per 4 people. Would go again!

Te veel doorgeschoten in experimentele gerechten en wijn. Het gaat hier om een bistro niet om een zaak die gerechten en wijn serveert die minder gangbaar zijn. Blijf bij een Parijse bistro gedachte is mijn idee. Dus voorlopig kom ik niet meer terug helaas….

Heerlijk gegeten; fantastische smaakcombinaties; spannend en verrassend! Absolute aanrader!!!

Heerlijke gerechten, zonder zwakke onderdelen. De opzet om de gerechten stuk voor stuk met korte pauze te serveren stimuleert om van elkaar te proeven, wat we ook gedaan hebben en goed is bevallen. De bediening is goed en attent, ondanks de drukte, De bistro is ruimtelijk en sfeervol gezellig, We komen zeker terug. TOP!

Heerlijk eten, heerlijke wijnen, goede en snelle bediening en de rekening viel niet tegen ondanks de dure wijntjes. Alleen de muziek stond te hard en te veel geroezemoes, anders hadden we meer punten toegekend.

Leuke zaak! Verrassend goed eten en leuke bijzondere gerechten op de kaart. Kun je zonder nadenken naartoe, doen!

Tasty food but be prepared for long waiting times

Delicious and very rich in vegetarian options. Desert cheese and sake were yum!

Vanavond wezen borrelen. Ik kwam hier regelmatig langs, maar kende dit niet. Blijkt nieuw? Nieuwe uitbater, net verbouwd? Mooie zaak. De schotels (die wij bij anderen op tafel zagen) zien er uiterst smaakvol uit...... Volgende keer een hapje doen....

Prima zaak, met jonge eigenaren die hopelijk nog willen groeien en bijleren. Er werd bijvoorbeeld gezegd dat de gerechten bedoeld zijn om te delen. Vega voorgerecht was goed, maar groenten veelal nog rauw. En vervolgens met een halve, harde spitskool op je bord is 'delen' wat lastig. Veel te groot en het gerechtje miste finesse. Koken met groenten is meer dan een stronk kool grillen, hoe goed bedoeld ook. Het volgende gerecht daarom geannuleerd, wat na enig aandringen gelukkig wel kon. Verder een leuke avond, maar prijs-kwaliteit te hoog.
