Just been in. After 10 minutes no one from the service came. Customers who came after us were helped. Went to the other side to Westerburgt without consuming anything. Service excellent and friendly.

Fui con una reserva para grupos y nos armaron un menú acotado para facilitar las elecciones ya que no contábamos con mucho tiempo. Fueron muy amables en diseñar el menú e imprimirlo con el nombre del grupo. La comida fue deliciosa. El servicio tardó un poco más de lo que esperábamos pero volvería a llaver un grupo y ahora que sé, destinaría más tiempo.

Heerlijk gegeten bij Diggels. Vlotte, persoonlijke bediening. Ruime keuze op de kaart. Rode poon voorgerecht was echt heel lekker, daarna het Vistrio als hoofdgerecht. Prima verhouding prijs / kwaliteit.

Lekker een weekendje met onze lieve rustige golden retriever in Westerbork. Vrienden adviseerde ons Diggels. Helaas ondanks dat er binnen maar twee tafeltjes bezet waren mochten we niet naar binnen. Gemiste kans! We zitten heerlijk te dineren bij Abdij de Westerburcht voor de 2e keer. Wat is dat toch dat anti hondenbeleid 🤷‍♀️

The four of us were there to celebrate our birthday. The starter was delivered quickly and tasty, but we waited 1 hour for the main course. The food was really good. We all wanted dessert, we got the tickets but after waiting another 45 minutes we just left. The waiter gave an excuse that it was so busy. Unfortunately, the fun was over for us.

Weekend away and dinner at Diggels, we had already had lunch there in the afternoon. 2x pinsa, delicious.👍 Made reservations for the evening and had a delicious meal. 1 mistake, they probably forgot to let us know that we had already finished our starter, so we had to wait a while for the main course. We apologized for this and made sure we got it as quickly as possible. Admitting your mistake, etc. that is something that does not often happen at other restaurants. That is why we really appreciate this and the service is certainly worth 5 stars.

Delicious lunch on one of the first sunny spring days. The terrace was of course packed around lunchtime, so we sat inside. Friendly staff who regularly check in to see if you need anything. Years ago we had lunch once to our complete satisfaction, so when we were in the area again, we dropped in for a breath of fresh air of course... Parking at the Jumbo, there was plenty of room. Lunch menu with an extensive choice, it all looked equally delicious. Coffee is served accompanied by delicious cream, where do you still see that? Tumtums are also appreciated, nice to have something sweet with it. Opted for mustard soup, toasted sandwiches and delicious Italian bread. They don't skimp on toppings, delicious! Despite the fact that it was quite busy, all this was brought to the table within a reasonable time. Of course, you also take a peek at the tables around you while you're waiting. The table further away had a high tea and we regretted not being friends with them 🤪 Phew, that looked delicious too. Large groups are also served drinks at a rapid pace. Although the interior is quite dark, it feels cozy. The toilets are clean and spacious, plus! There are a number of people among the staff who really go the extra mile. Who come and go and enjoy their work. That feels very nice as a guest. Your next visit to Westerbork will certainly include a visit to Diggels. Top tent.

Discovered this gem while passing through by motorcycle. This restaurant was recommended by a suddenly closed restaurant in Westerbork and it was delicious. Everything was taken care of to perfection. Really, everything was delicious. And what I thought was particularly special were the tumtums with the fresh ginger tea. So quirky! <3 we come here to eat more often!

Heerlijk gegeten. Sudderlappen in portsaus. Waarom je die moet nemen? Ze zijn mals en zeer goed gekruid. Ik hou van stoofpotjes maar deze staat bovenaan. De groente en aardappels waren ook goed gebakken.

Delicious simple lunch very and very tasty. Also well cared for and very friendly staff. Was there last in 2011. I think it's a shame that the interior was changed. Formerly Old Dutch farm style. But tastes differ.

We had a delicious meal at Diggels! Upon arrival we immediately received a nut mix and some olives on the table and our drinks were brought quickly. We chose delicious bread with 2 dips as a starter. For the main course, we were pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian options (the rendang and the pappardelle): they were prepared with attention and very tasty! For dessert we chose the 'patsboem' and the crème brûlée, highly recommended! We paid an affordable and appropriate price for this. We arrived late (7:45 PM) but we were still able to order all courses at a leisurely pace. The service was friendly and they came by regularly despite the crowds. In short: a great experience!

Good service, Nice food, except the rice with curry/mango sauce which was quite tasteless. Our entire group enjoyed a very tasty meal here from the beautifully presented dishes. Good open wines, I had a Pinot Noir with the pork tenderloin with red cabbage. Beautiful combination!

The service is very friendly and attentive. We never had to raise our hands to have our drinks refilled. The atmosphere and decoration of the interior is very cozy and tasteful. This was the first time we were here, but certainly not the last time. 22-09-24 Today we ate here for the second time. Once again we took the 4 course surprise menu. And again we are pleasantly surprised. Each dish is special, beautifully prepared and tasty. This restaurant is number 1 for us

As a meat avoider, I had the mustard soup first and the linguine with a delicious sauce and vegetables as a main course. The rest, red gurnard, tomato soup, perch, spare ribs, tournedos, chicken and mussels, all plates were returned clean. Plus friendly service. Yes, if it were closer to home we would definitely eat there more often!

Weekend away and a day out for dinner. We found Diggels via the internet. We were welcomed kindly and soon received a small snack on the table. After choosing our main course we had to wait more than 45 minutes. At one point I even asked how long it would take. Yes, it was busy, was the response. We waited. The food tasted good. We had already finished and after 30 minutes we indicated that they could clear out. And really, they sometimes walked with nothing! Just pass on the dessert, we had chosen it on our mobile otherwise it would have taken another 45 minutes. They lost their friendliness at checkout. Shame. No more visits to Diggels for us.

Nice restaurant with tasty food. The meat dishes (mixed grill, pork tenderloin and a plaice) are particularly good, the accompanying vegetables and salad could be a little more exciting. The desserts are delicious. We ate the Patsboem (hazelnut ice cream and whole hazelnuts with caramel sauce) and the cheesecake. The staff seemed relaxed and were very friendly.

Mwa.... Food moderate and slow. The weather was nice and it seemed like the kitchen couldn't really keep up. I was alone and having to wait just under 50 minutes for a starter was really bad. That was a tartare that was brown and slightly warm. Looked anything but nice. Clearly it had been on the pass for a long time. The meat was so ground that it looked more like a mouse than a nice beef tartare. The piece of fish as a main course was overcooked in the 90s style and therefore fried dry. Came with the skin but instead of frying it nice and crispy it was pale and tough. If you want to sit on a terrace and enjoy your company, you can sit here. If you are looking for good food, keep looking.

The drinks were already lukewarm. The salmon club sandwich was delicious, but a lemon really comes with it! I tried to get the attention of the waiter, but it didn't work. At checkout we were asked why we had not reported this: well... see above?

People... have a PatsBoom! We arrived with a dog. They are not allowed inside, but the heater was turned on outside without any problems. We were often asked whether everything was to our liking. A high chair for our daughter was brought out at our discretion. Relax and sit on the main road in Westerbork... A beautiful place!

Tijdens een fietstocht hier geland voor een lunch. Het ziet er verzorgd en gezellig uit. Ook het personeel is enthousiast en netjes gekleed. Een prima lunchkaart, wel redelijk aan de prijs. Zeker toen we de gerechten wat karig opgediend kregen. Het was smakelijk maar de prijs-kwaliteitverhouding klopte daardoor niet helemaal. Wel goed voor een 7, mede omdat we lang hebben moeten wachten op ons eten.
