Delicious food and super friendly staff! We had a fantastic evening celebrating my boyfriend's birthday. I can definitely recommend this restaurant!

This was our second time here, and the food was delicious again. The drinks (cocktails) arrived super fast, and the food didn't take too long either. The waitresses were friendly.

We ate here for the first time with a SocialDeal. It's a lovely restaurant, ideally located, and parking is nearby. We received a warm welcome, and our requested table was honored. The service was attentive and very friendly. The menu offers a wide selection, and we had a wonderful meal. If you're expecting haute cuisine, you're in the wrong place. If you're simply looking for a good meal (value for money) with an American atmosphere, this is the place to be!

The food was delicious, but it took a very long time to be picked up. The staff seemed fine, but they were curt and uninterested or helpful.

Just called (Wednesday, November 12, 4:28 PM) to ask if a table for 4 people was still available through the social deal, as only 2 people were still available via the website. After asking, I was simply rebuked with a very irritated response from the employee. It was just a question! You'd rather miss out on the income of 4 paying guests and choose empty seats. And then you snap at someone over the phone. We know enough now. We always enjoyed coming here, but this was the last time. If I were the owner, I would take this seriously and confront the employee in question. It's simply costing you guests and revenue if the employee does this to everyone over the phone. Good luck with that.

I think it's a lovely restaurant, with pleasant music, good food, and friendly staff. We love coming here!

We used to come quite often. After that, we started to dislike it less. We made reservations again, and unfortunately, it's not the same as it used to be. €74 for two people might be reasonable, but it shouldn't be like Kwalitaria.

We had a delicious American-style meal. The burgers are highly recommended, but the jambalaya was also very tasty. The friendly service made a delicious meal complete.

The food was bland. The meat was overcooked and dry. The kitchen was overloaded; we couldn't take orders and had to wait for the kitchen to recover. The staff did their job, but they weren't very enthusiastic.

A charming American restaurant in the heart of Ede. The menu isn't extensive, and that's reflected in the quality of the dishes. The service is quick and friendly. While you wait, you can enjoy the restaurant's decor or look outside through one of the many windows in the building, which is situated at the intersection of two streets.

Amazing night out with friends here.Great company was made beter by the great meal. The vibe is relaxed , the weather was great so we enjoyed our meal on the outside terass. You have the option of a combo meal and it is well priced. Everything was tasty and the portions were decent.It is located close to the train station which made traveling easy.

We were here with 12 people through a social deal. The food was good and tasty, but not particularly special. The younger ladies who helped were quite friendly and service-oriented, but the older woman (owner-manager (?)) was really grumpy, so we won't be coming back. Unfortunately, this lovely woman's mood was awful, short and very blunt. Such a shame because we loved going to Dixies!

After a few years, I decided to eat at this restaurant again, with fond memories of previous visits. Unfortunately, this time it turned out to be a disappointment. The service was still excellent—friendly and attentive staff—but that was the only positive. My appetizer contained a hair, which immediately spoiled my appetite. Where the spareribs used to be so tender the meat fell off the bone, they were now dry and tough, with tendons and muscle in them. It's a real shame to see how the quality has deteriorated.

The steak was very tough and overcooked. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired; we received no response when we asked the head waitress for mayonnaise or anything else. Fortunately, the younger waitresses were very friendly, which made the experience somewhat positive.

For the fish burger you better go to McDonald's your teeth almost broke off so hard, as well as the onion rings fried way too hard. They are very much against smoking, smoking was not allowed outside on the terrace, it was not indicated anywhere but we should have seen this because there were no ashtrays according to the hostess!! We will definitely never come back here again

Nice restaurant. A lot of attention has been paid to the decoration, which makes it cozy. The food was good, the portions were big enough. Small side note; no tap water. That is not nice when taking medication. Service was friendly and correct.

We ended up at Dixie's via Social Deal and are glad we discovered it. First of all, compliments for the service. Super friendly, attentive and very sweet to our dog. It's great to go somewhere where we feel welcome with our dog. He even got his own bowl with water and treats. The food was delicious, richly decorated with dips and such and the portions are large so you certainly won't leave hungry. The hamburger is definitely recommended. The restaurant is nicely decorated and they play appropriate music. And always nice when you go out for dinner: the sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean. Oh yes, and the prices are very reasonable, even without Social Deal.

Highly recommended! Great food for a fantastic price. If you are in Ede, you simply have to eat here! The carpaccio and the half chicken are really great – you have to try them. The service is excellent and the owner creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. No joke: this is a place you'll come back for!

Er is genoeg keuze, ook voor kinderen. Echt een van de betere restaurants in Ede als het gaat om smaak. De steak en hamburgers waren top, en ook de bijgerechten waren heerlijk. Een aanrader!

A very clean place with nice wait staff. The food felt a bit average for me though it was more I thought the ingredients weren't that high of quality but the care of the food was good. They obviously have skilled cooks but must get their supplies from a wholesaler. Nice atmosphere but their AI generated signs are weird and a bit distracting.

What a great experience at Dixie's in Ede! If you love steak, this is definitely the place to be. The steak I had was perfectly prepared - tender, full of flavor and really top quality. It was clear that a lot of attention is paid to the dishes here. In addition, the atmosphere provides a total experience. The cozy, retro interior with music from Elvis and others immediately puts you in the right mood. It really felt like a piece of nostalgia and it made the evening extra special. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. Whether you are having a night out with friends or looking for a romantic dinner, Dixie's offers it all. Definitely recommended for lovers of good food and a cozy ambiance!

We bought vouchers through Social Deal and were here 1.5 weeks ago. Very rude staff (older woman) who did nothing with the feedback. Bread with spread beforehand, 3 hunks of Turkish bread and not fresh. Factory-made hamburgers and a white bowl with some kind of salad with dehydrated cucumber on top that came straight out of the refrigerator and probably went back in again.

Fantastic restaurant, I have been here a lot in the past and was a bit afraid that things had deteriorated by now, but nothing could be further from the truth! The food is still top notch and the service fantastic. The hostess is cheerful and provides the icing on the cake!

The main course was excellent, but the starter, a carpaccio, was downright unappetizing and inedible. I reported this immediately, but the employee was completely unable to respond to this, which is unacceptable. This definitely needs to be improved. All in all a reasonable experience, but with clear areas for improvement.

Come here regularly and it is really delicious. An excellent price in relation to the quality! The restaurant is also very nicely decorated, which makes it very attractive.

Had a delicious meal last Sunday. Made use of the 3 course menu. You get gigantic portions and you don't have to leave the restaurant hungry. The service was also really great. Recommended!

I have been coming to Dixie's for years and have always been satisfied with the food. However, that has become less and less. Went yesterday with friends, ordered spicy spareribs and chicken, but neither order was received in order. I passed it on and the solution was to throw a few pieces of jalapeño over the ribs he he... We ordered a drink which was unfortunately not in stock, we were later told (sweetly), but we found out later that we had been charged anyway! I'm very disappointed in @dixie's and his service 👎👎👎

Wat een drama. Zeer onvriendelijk personeel. Je bent daar alles behalve welkom. Als je eerder komt dan de gereserveerde tijd 'is de tafel nog niet gereed" terwijl het halve restaurant leeg is. Gelukkig zijn er genoeg restaurants in de buurt waar je gastvrij ontvangen wordt. Heerlijk gegeten bij Villa Brutus.

Really delicious food and for a low price. They indicated that they were somewhat understaffed, but still fast service. There was already something ready for the dog upon arrival. This restaurant is absolutely recommended.

Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and delicious food!

The service was fast and the price was affordable. However, I don't think the food was good. I ordered the chicken jambalaya. It should be a rice dish with Cajun spices. Instead I got a tomato bean stew that tasted like a canned one from the supermarket, with no spices. The rice was not cooked in the stew as it should be, it was just basmati rice that was put on the side. The chicken was not well integrated with chicken, just some cold slices of chicken from the supermarket on top of the stew. I felt no satisfaction eating it, it seemed like separate elements rather than a real dish and it even gave me an upset stomach.

A group of 14 of us rocked up and in fairness they took us in, spreading us over three tables. Survive was quick but the food was terrible.the ribs were under cooked and the chips were over cocked, when in Holland don’t eat American.

Nicely decorated restaurant with an emphasis on American life. The menu also shows this with delicious burgers and good steaks with delicious sauces. The Cooky Dough dessert is especially recommended, at least if you like whipped cream, caramel, cookie dough and apple pie :-)

Wat een drama. Na het arriveren en eerste drankje werd onze bestelling opgenomen. Mijn vader en man hadden een lekker hoofdgerecht uitgezocht, mijn moeder en ik wilden een hoofdgerecht delen. De eigenaresse nam de bestelling op en zei direct heel stellig: bij ons worden geen gerechten gedeeld! Ik was even in verwarring en zei dat ik geen grote eter was maar ze hield vol dat dit geen optie was. Nadat wij redelijk beledigd aangaven dat het dan voor ons ophield zei zij... prima. Ik heb nog 1x een poging gedaan om haar uit te leggen waarom ik zo weinig weet... maagverkleining... maar dat graag had zij geen boodschap aan. Haar respons was... echt... wij verdienen geen geld aan mensen zoals jullie. Na nog een paar beledigingen heb ik haar deze slechte recensie beloofd. Bij deze. Wat een verschrikkelijk slechte horeca vrouw.

Dixie’s is een prima eettent als je op zoek bent naar burgers of spareribs. De prijzen zijn zeer gunstig, zelfs voor een driegangen diner. De bediening is zeer vriendelijk en vlot, zelfs als het erg druk is. Daarnaast heeft het restaurant een authentiek Amerikaanse sfeer, wat op zichzelf al een bijzondere ervaring is.

Erg goed gegeten voor een betaalbare prijs. De vaste medewerker weet van aanpakken en heeft goed inzicht. Kom hier zeker terug.

We had delicious steak and sides. The mananger of tonight was just rude. We were late for our booked table and I understand that they could not hold on to it, but she could have speak nicer with me, not barking at me and taking a call while speaking to us?

Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Drie gangen menu voor een vaste prijs. Dichtbij grote parkeerplaats.

Leuk restaurant, veel aandacht voor de aankleding met typisch Amerikaanse cultuuruitingen, wanden hangen vol met Amerikaanse sterren, presidenten, auto’s etc. Het personeel is zeer behulpzaam en alert. Het eten is echt prima, gezien de zeer schappelijke prijzen. Aanrader is de Gumbosoep met kip. De bananen milkshake was werkelijk perfect en geserveerd in een ouderwets milkshake glas. De varkensmedallion was heerlijk mals en vol van smaak. De Jambalaya was pittiger dan ik had verwacht maar op zich heel smakelijk. Parkeren is goed te doen, 100m verderop is een een grote parkeerplaats. Prima plek om regelmatig terug te komen, prijs kwaliteit is top.

Beste steak en burger ooit gegeten en zeker in vergelijking met de prijs. De bediening is zeer vriendelijk. De aankleding van het restaurant is meer een allegaartje dan Amerikaans. De kerstverlichting mag wel weg…

Lekker gegeten voor een leuke prijs, onder het genot van lekkere muziek die perfect past bij de inrichting. Ze hebben een aparte glutenvrije kaart met veel keuze, wat erg fijn is!

We hebben lekker gegeten. Zowel ik als mijn partner hebben coeliakie. Ontzettend fijn dat ze een glutenvrije kaart hebben. Echt top! Dat is echt een uitzondering in de buurt van Ede.

Geweldig!!! Niet alleen de kwantiteit maar zeker ook de kwaliteit was ontzettend goed. Zelfgemaakte garnalenkroketten, een perfect gebakken burger, crème brûlée met echte vanille: waar vind je dat nou nog. En dat voor die lage prijzen. Tot slot: wat een vriendelijke, attente en gezellige bediening!

Zo leuk goede service eten was echt super 2x mixed grill en 1 pepper steak ga wel vaker ff buiten de deur uit eten maar zo attent de bediening hier is echt goed en de muziek echt fijn.kom hier zeker terug dank jullie wel voor deze fijne avond.

Gisterenavond met 4 personen bij Dixie’s gegeten, een echte aanrader. 3 gangen menu gekozen, alles was heerlijk, vlees was van zeer goede kwaliteit en een medium gebakken steak was ook medium gebakken. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en professioneel. We gaan hier zeker terug komen.

We komen hier regelmatig, goed eten voor een goede prijs in een goede sfeer

Etwn was niet bijzonder, te veel dressing op de salade, meiden doen hun best maar de gastvrouw bepaalt de sfeer. Afzuiging binnen erg slecht je waardoor t als een patatkraam ruikt

Er wordt op de placemats vermeld dat " you won't go home hungry " en dat maakt Dixie's waar door uitgebalanceerde porties, je komt niets te kort. Samen met de leuke sfeer en dito personeel..een heerlijk avondje uit.
