Best restaurant in Ede. Excellent food and service for a very reasonable price. Regular customer.

This is still the best pizza in Ede. A delicious, crispy crust and wonderful, fresh ingredients. The ice cream and limoncello for dessert were also delicious. The service is fast and friendly. The only downside is that the tables are quite close together, making it quite noisy. Otherwise, great!

The pizza's are excellent. I had also spaghetti though voelde be a little beter, nevertheless good. The wines was ok, the one i liked i had to buy by bottle....a minor point

Het eten was best oké, maar de rode wijn was een grap. Nog vóór we een slok namen, gaven we aan dat het wel héél weinig was. Echt een karig plensje in een klein glas. Aan het eind zagen we dat andere tafels wél normale glazen kregen. Toen we er weer iets van zeiden, was het antwoord: “Dat is een andere wijn.” Alsof dat een excuus is om bij ons bijna niks in te schenken. En weet je? Als je gewoon een fatsoenlijk glas serveert, bestel je met plezier een tweede. Maar dat hebben we dus maar niet gedaan. Voor ons: één keer en nooit weer.

The food was pretty good, but the red wine was a joke. Before we even took a sip, we pointed out that it was a very small amount. A truly meager splash in a small glass. At the end, we saw other tables getting regular glasses. When we brought it up again, the response was, "That's a different wine." As if that were an excuse to pour us almost nothing. And you know what? If you just serve a decent glass, you're happy to order a second. But we didn't. For us: once and never again.

We had a reservation for 6:30, but arrived fifteen minutes early, which wasn't a problem. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our table. The service was polite, but also approachable and humorous. Perfect for our group. They were very accommodating; we wanted to share a few dishes, as there were so many delicious options on the menu, and luckily, this was possible. The desserts were also delicious, with homemade limoncello, of course. At 10:15, we walked out satisfied. A delicious meal!

I was very +++++ surprised. Me and my we had Pizza - the best we had til now (20 years traveling). The ambient is great, classical cosy not to fancy, but very clean and cared for. Service: friendly, quick, great experience. And WE travel all across EU for Work - 100.000km in year.

Unfortunately, I have enjoyed eating here for years, but if the service deliberately ignores you for 20 minutes because it is busy with orders over the telephone, something goes wrong... We had to wait a long time because it was so busy with takeaway orders that the explanation took 20 minutes to attract attention! The response 'see if that will work' is not what you want to hear when you order a gluten-free pizza, strange comment. The pizzas came to the table with an interval of 5 to 10 minutes.... there was 20 minutes between the first and the last pizza (we were 4 people) 3 of the 4 pizzas were good, one pizza had clearly been in the oven for too long. We did have a dry mouth, because after the first round no one came by for a drink. The room is empty and boringly decorated and the pizza baker closed the oven door so hard every time that it startled us. Perhaps that is why it is so busy with takeaway. I recommend pizza, but not the restaurant anymore.

Super nice service, but worst pizza ever. I had a Daviola with exactly 5 pieces of salami, the rest just large pieces of white onion. No taste to the pizza and not spicy at all. It was also soft and not crunchy. My wife had a tuna pizza with bacon. The bacon was almost raw on it. Her pizza was also not cooked properly. We ran to the toilet all night. Still gave 2 stars because the service was good.

First impression at the table: extremely dirty chair seats, brr. Pizza was soggy due to very thin base in the middle and therefore difficult to cut. Spaghetti floated in spicy sauce. After a complaint about this, the plate was not removed to repair things, but an extra plate was brought by the owner to transfer the spaghetti to it "self service".... Unprecedented!

Here you can eat the tastiest pizzas in the Netherlands. Perfect base, well filled and incredibly tasty. And the service is absolutely excellent. Easy underground parking in front of the door.

It was busy, we could only eat outside, but that was fine. Staff was friendly and we received enough attention despite the crowds. Pizzas were fine, nice thin base, could have been a little crispier. Pizzas are still nicely priced, I had a richly topped luxury pizza (carbonara special), highly recommended if you like meat, for 16 euros, but there are plenty of pizzas between 10 and 12 euros. The other pizzas were also delicious, as was the pasta carbonara. What I just don't understand, and it often happens at other restaurants, is that if four of you pre-order baguette with herb butter, you get six slices of baguette, so two of you only have one slice or you have to share slices of baguette. You pay 5 euros for butter worth maybe 10ct and bread will cost maybe 2ct per slice, then just give eight for a table of four.

The pizzas are, in general, the best in the area, but the noise level in the restaurant is so high that I can't enjoy the food.

That you want to order and you are politely told that because of the crowds you cannot order at the moment. Have you ever heard that... It was TOO busy in the kitchen..... yes.... so.... then you should let fewer people in.... You also get a big mouth from the "lady" behind the bar... whahaha... you got me wrong.

Om 17:50 uur zaten wij met zijn zessen aan tafel. Drankjes werden snel geserveerd. Bestelling werd geplaatst. 5 verschillende pizza's eenmaal pasta. Toen er voor de derde keer een ronde drinken werd gevraagd om 19:10 uur, gaf ik aan, nee wij willen nu echt wat eten. Om 19:40 uur naar binnen gegaan en nogmaals gevraagd waarom wij nog steeds geen eten hadden. Om 19:50 uur na 2 uur wachten, eindelijk de pizza's. Deze zouden super moeten zijn volgens de recensies. Niet dus. Hele sompige boezem en de korst zo hard dat deze niet te snijden was. Ingrediënten zaten er niet veel op. Alle 5 deelden wij dezelfde mening. Dit was echt niet goed. Bij het afruimen dit ook medegedeeld. Geen excuses. Geen klein drankje van de zaak. Geen korting. Helemaal niets... Rekening van 171 euro. Weg gegooid geld. Wij gaan hier (als echte Edenaren) nooit meer eten!

Despite the many good reviews, this one is slightly less good. Maybe came by at the wrong time. A very noisy restaurant, but that partly depends on the clientele. There is no complaints about the service, they were always ready immediately. They do have the 'nothing for nothing' system, a portion of bread (6 small slices of baguette and some butter, bread pre-sliced ​​and slightly dried out) easily costs 5 Euro. There were 6 of us, and we ended up ordering a 2nd portion because 1 slice of baguette doesn't get you far (=> 10 Euro bread). This is the first time we have had to pay for that. In France they put bottles of tap water on the table for free, here you pay 3.25 euros for a carafe. The pasta and pizzas looked delicious, but the pizza I was served (pizza di mare) was half burnt and without any taste. Not even eaten 1/3. The comment was passed on to the waiter. Ended up getting a coffee as compensation. What a disappointment! Not even an apology from the chef. They won't see us again here and they certainly won't get a recommendation (except for the service of the waiters).

Always full, so call! Really good food with personal attention. You can eat pizza/pasta relatively cheaply here, but meat is also good food.

We found this restaurant by google review, with a 4.4 rating. The rating also match my expectations, we tried different food, like pizza , pasta, lamb, and the lobster ravioli. If you go for an Italian, I will highly recommend this restaurant.

Op aanraden van een kennis hier gegeten met familie ter ere van verjaardag. Van tevoren prettig contact gehad over de mogelijkheden. Een fijne avond gehad we waande ons even in Italië wat een gezellige restaurant met Italiaanse karakter. Het was er erg druk, de bediening was top! Wij hebben Heerlijk gegeten. De jarige kreeg een ijsfontein, top geregeld. Kortom voor herhaling vatbaar!

Sole d'Italia is an established name in Ede and surrounding villages. They have been satisfying their customers for decades with their authentic Italian recipes. The interior is cramped and crowded, but anyone who has been to Italy knows that this is the most normal thing there. Sole d'Italia is really about the food!

I've been living in Ede for years and had never eaten at Sole d'Italia. So I went there for dinner for my birthday. What a pleasure. The menu is very extensive, with the most delicious Italian dishes. I went for the pizza. Very tasty, good thin base and delicious toppings. The service is also very attentive and very friendly. Dishes were served to the four of us all at the same time. We will definitely go here more often!

Ruime sortering Italiaanse gerechten, met nadruk op Sardinie. Wat wij gegeten hebben was allemaal van goede kwaliteit. Ruime porties ook. Heel fijne sfeer, aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Een aanrader. Wel reserveren, want iedereen weet het al!

Heel erg vriendelijk ontvangen. Het was ontzettend druk, de bediening had het er maar zwaar mee maar alles werd netjes opgelost. We hebben even moeten wachten op ons eten maar het was voortreffelijk. Nogmaals, de bediening was ontzettend vriendelijk en deed er alles aan om het ons (en de rest van de gasten) zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Pizza en pasta waren heerlijk en het dessert was top!

We ordered wide ribbon pasta with forest mushrooms. It contained three mini mushrooms and the portion was meager. We were both still really hungry after the pasta. Portion was not enough for 1 person. Both things were pointed out to the host (man in a blouse with glasses) but not much was done about it. So leave the restaurant hungry. No repeat for me at this restaurant.

In this Italian restaurant it feels like you are on holiday. Good menu with a choice of pizza or standard dishes. All dishes are of great taste. The service is alert and knows what they are doing.

Erg lekker gegeten. Een aantal hadden pizza die ze erg lekker vonden, ik had zelf canneloni al carna en die was ook erg goed en er was er een die pasta had. Die ook erg goed was. Netjes en goed geholpen.

Vorige week met mijn kinderen en in Ede gegeten. Mijn zoon en schoondochter, zij is Italiaanse vonden de piza bodem niet geweldig. De pasta en het overige was pico bello 😉

Goed eten, dunne maar knapperige bodem. Goede en vriendelijke service. Sfeer is goed, alleen wat luidruchtig, rumoerig.

Leuke service van het personeel, supervriendelijk. De pizza's waren voortreffelijk!

Even vanaf de fiets gebeld. Fietste toen nog midden op de hei. Of ik over 10 min Pizza kon ophalen. Of die 10min gingen lukken wisten ze niet maar bij aankomst lag de pizza net klaar. Heerlijke pizza. Goede service en fijn dat het zo snel geregeld kon worden. De trek is inmiddels gestild 😉

Afgelopen week met z'n drieën heerlijk gegeten in dit Italiaanse (Sardijnse) restaurant. Van de buitenkant oogt het niet bijzonder, maar eenmaal binnen veel sfeervoller. Bediening is vriendelijk en vlot, maar zeker niet opdringerig. Eten (zowel voor- als hoofdgerecht) was erg smaakvol en goede afstemming qua porties. Tijd tussen voor- en hoofdgerecht was een tikkeltje aan de lange kant, maar de kwaliteit van het eten maakte dat meer dan goed. Al met al een gezellige avond en de innerlijke mens ook tevreden. Ons zie je zeker een keer terug!

On Saturday evening around 21:30, it seems every thing closed already in the aria… We tried to ask them if possible to have a dinner still. And fortunately they received us very kindly!! We enjoyed delicious real Italian pizza’s!!

Het eten was heerlijk! De 'Papperdelle al Tartufo' (Brede lint pasta met bospaddenstoelen in truffel/roomsaus) is een aanrader. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en ik geef de service 5 sterren ⭐️ Wij komen hier zeker terug :)

Wauw, wat een positieve verrassing! Een restaurant dat gerund wordt echte Italianen is natuurlijk precies zoals het hoort te zijn. Voeg daar een goeie chef aan toe die een mooi en uitgebreid menu heeft samengesteld, heb je al 4 sterren binnen. De bediening maakt het af. Vriendelijk, doen goede suggesties en maken een praatje. Daarnaast zorgen ze voor een totale ervaring door goed op te letten of iedereen nog te drinken heeft. Het lijkt allemaal vanzelfsprekend, dat is het helaas niet. 10/10 dat ik deze Italiaan aanbeveel en 10/10 dat ik (snel) terug kom!

We hebben hier fantastisch lekker gegeten! De bediening was erg vriendelijk en het restaurant is sfeervol ingericht. Een aanrader!
