The food was decent, but the service was terrible and extremely rude. The bill was wrong, and items were charged that weren't ordered. I'll never come back here again.

Simply delicious and affordable. After a day at Eindhoven Zoo, this was the perfect way to enjoy a delicious pancake.

We arrived at opening time, but the coffee was ready and the service was friendly.

We had mixed feelings about this place: Pretty dark restaurant even in the day time and waiters that do not rush to serve you even when only they have a few visitors. On the other hand, their pancakes were really amazing and they have good territory and big playground and convenient free parking.

Raw pancakes, two people got sick after their meal. Luckily, the rest had chosen something else. The meat was decent. Sauces from packets and bags. Tasteless. The bread and fries were good. But a pancake house that only bakes gluten- and lactose-free pancakes fresh isn't a pancake house in my opinion. A pancake carousel where your toppings are grilled instead of fried isn't pancakes. Too bad. Once, never again.

Nice location on the Dommel, very suitable for young children.

Great concept, generally good food (though quite pricey, and some dishes are quite elaborate and others a bit compact). Many toys in the playroom are broken, sometimes even dangerous for little ones with sharp corners due to broken plastic. Hey, the concept is great! My only real major drawback was the extremely smelly changing area because the diaper bin wouldn't close (it was broken), so it stayed open, and the stench was truly unbearable. Great idea, but the execution could be a bit better!

We had a wonderful meal! And we laughed so much with our host! We went home with a stomach ache from laughing so hard! Thank you!

Not very enthusiastic. We were told they couldn't make pancakes anymore. Then we saw all sorts of pancakes being served, and then suddenly they were. Expensive dishes. Snitzel €21, plus an extra €3.50 for the sauce. Burgers with little sauce and no toppings. The vegetables were sparse, a lot of fried red onion with a little bell pepper and zucchini. The youngest in our group got their pancake 10 minutes later than the rest... So the food was a bit disappointing in terms of price/quality ratio. The atmosphere, on the other hand, was great. A fun place for kids. They often asked if we wanted something to drink.

Beautiful location, but the beef burger was a pre-made slab that we couldn't eat. And that for 21 euros... no passion or love in the dishes...

The service was extremely friendly despite the crowds. The food was fine, but nothing special. After a busy day, it turned out that they weren't offering all the desserts on Sunday evening because they're closed on Mondays. That's understandable, but a shame. The kids certainly enjoy it, which is why we return every year to round off our vacation. They can play outside, and no one minds seeing them constantly running back and forth.

A lovely spot in a quiet, secluded area in the countryside. A large terrace and, at our moment, wonderfully peaceful. I think it can get quite busy at times, especially with children, given the many play areas.

A lovely place, especially in sunny weather (the acoustics seemed a bit shrill to me with all the hustle and bustle inside). It's more than just a pancake restaurant. The staff is friendly, humorous, and no-nonsense. Delicious food. The spare ribs are excellent. The crispy tender salad is a fun and delicious dish. And of course, the pancakes.

I called ahead because I had questions about allergens. If I mentioned them at the restaurant while ordering, it wouldn't be a problem. The staff taking orders either don't know anything about allergens or just say something, and after three attempts at insisting, they finally ask and then come out of the kitchen with a different answer. They just roll their eyes before sighing and walking away. Then you're still given food containing the allergens, even though you specifically told them not to. Then they sigh and take it away, and you only get half the right thing. Absolutely do not recommend eating here if you have allergies, because they don't take it seriously! If you can't handle this seriously, you definitely shouldn't eat here before people get sick.

Vanmiddag deze plek bezocht, wat een aanfluiting. Mijn vriendin had perongelijk een rode wijn besteld, ze dacht een witte besteld te hebben. Vrouw werd er behoorlijk chagerijnig van en voor we konden uitpraten was ze er al vandoor met een blik waar je bang van word. Desserts besteld, de blondie, waarvan we dachten dat het een witte brownie zou zijn leek wel op een bakstenen mueslireep. Hier iets van gezegd maar de reactie was "dit is nou eenmaal hoe wij hem serveren", oke.. vervolgens neemt ze hem mee, zonder dat wij deze gegeten hebben en zonder verdere oplossing of alternatief, appart. Vriendinnen vonden de dubai coupe naar ammaretto smaken, ook deze werd meegenomen. Vervolgens staan de 3 desserts wél op de rekening, erg bijzonder als je ze van tafel haalt zonder dat het gegeten is, zonder alternatief of uberhaupt een fatsoenlijke reactie. Toen wij aangaven niet voor iets te willen betalen wat van tafel is gehaald en dus niet genuttigd is, kregen we als reactie "dit is hoe wij het altijd maken dus daar moet je gewoon voor betalen". na een discussie alsnog van de rekening gehaald en van ellende maar vertrokken. Want met blikken die je aankijken alsof ze je willen doden zit je ook niet op je gemak.

It looks nice and cozy. No complaints about the lunch or the service either. We thought the price was a bit high. A glass of white wine was €5.50. You'd think it was in line with the market. However, the glass was very small. We drink port from that. I opted for the Burger Lunch, then Kleine Dommel. It tasted good, but I think €17.50 is a bit high.

Always fun! There's an enclosed outdoor play area for the kids, so parents can enjoy a bite to eat with peace of mind. The food is good, and the prices are reasonable!

Beautiful weather and a pleasant and delicious end to a bike ride. Beautifully situated with a large terrace and play area for children. Of course, there's a large restaurant with a bar and ample parking, but the weather was too nice for that this time.

A cozy place. Perfectly equipped for families with children. I wanted to heat up a pod for my daughter, and there was a microwave ready, along with bowls and spoons. There were also plenty of toys and crayons for my other daughter. And of course, a large playground.

Ik ben met mijn kinderen komen eten. De stroop van de dag er voor zat nog aan de tafel. We werden geholpen door een zeer ongezellig meisje. Daarna kregen we pannenkoeken die niet gaar waren. Het smaakte vreemd, chemisch. Ik heb 4 happen op en de rest laten staan. De kids hebben niet gegeten. De kaas op een van de pannenkoeken was niet mee gebakken want dat lag bezweet op de pannenkoek. Ik heb veel geld betaald om vervolgens voor het hele gezin thuis nog maar een tosti te bakken. Mijn kinderen zijn alles eters maar het feit dat ze de pannenkoeken lieten staan is alles zeggend.

Net hier gegeten. De pannenkoeken waren heel erg slecht. Niet een pannekoek was gaar, maar de glutenvrije waren heel slecht. Daar bovenop moet je voor deze pannekoek extra betalen, terwijl je een veel kleinere pannekoek krijgt dan de mensen met een reguliere pannekoek. Uiteindelijke rekening was hoog, heel hoog. En niemand heeft zijn eten opgegeten. Iemand hierover aangesproken. In plaats van luisteren naar mijn klacht werd me uitgelegd waarom alles zo is. Wij hoeven hier nooit meer heen.

What a gem! Beautiful location, and the kids can play to their heart's content both indoors and outdoors in the well-maintained, clean playgrounds. You can sit outside on a lovely terrace with a great view. Plenty of parking. Clean tables, delicious food, and surprisingly fast delivery without a long wait, even when it was quite busy. They really thought about the kids. Exceptionally friendly staff and excellent service. Highly recommended.

The food was delicious but pricey. It was crowded outside and noisy due to loud talking. Inside, the music was loud, making conversation difficult. The waiter thought he was being funny in his response to a serious question, but we didn't appreciate it. We'll eat somewhere else next time.

We’ve been going to D’n Kleine Dommel for years. In the past, their food — like their hamburgers — was wonderful, with plenty of fresh, tasty vegetables such as lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. The prices were fair, too. However, these days, while the taste is still good, they use fewer vegetables and the difference between lunch and dinner prices has grown, making it more expensive. That said, it’s still a lovely place. The staff are very friendly, and even when they once brought me the wrong order, they quickly replaced it and apologized. Overall, we enjoy coming here, even though the food and value have changed.

We had been to this restaurant a while ago, the food was really good but the service was far from perfect, especially the checkout which seemed very rushed. We also had to pay more than we had actually ordered, but unfortunately they showed no understanding for that. I thought this was a real shame because it is a beautiful location and very nice for the children.

Waitres was very rude and lied to us that all tables are reserved and placed us in front of the kitchen even the entire restaurant was empty the whole time we were there. We will never go there again.

Lunch met vrienden en kleine kinderen. Lekker buiten kunnen zitten. Genoeg speelruimte binnen en buiten. Bediening weer voortreffelijk. Lunch was weer heerlijk: salade en pannenkoeken voor de kinderen. Er werd snel gereageerd bij het omstoten van flesje frisdrank. Komen zeker nog terug.

We had dinner here with a group yesterday for a children's birthday. The atmosphere and location are good, but unfortunately the service is lacking. First of all, we all sat on top of each other and when eating we had to be careful not to bump your neighbors with each other's elbows, while there was enough space to possibly make the table bigger so that we could sit a little more comfortably. Then we got the food, the food was good, it tasted good, well there are usually a few criticisms. When paying, we were politely asked if we could split the bill and everyone could pay their own share. It was stated that they normally do not do this, but that they wanted to make an exception for us. When paying, everyone called up what they had had and paid for the last of the group. Something went wrong with the payment, which irritated the clerk enormously and she took the card out of the person's hand twice, when the payment did not work, she became even more rude and irritated and said "yes, it doesn't work". It turned out that the person accidentally had the wrong card. This can happen, you don't have to react like that right away... Right? After everyone had paid their share, it turned out that there were still items open, they mentioned it and we indicated that this had not been ordered. The servant went out of her way and said that this was really not possible and that everything had been brought to the table and that it had to be paid because they knew what was going on... with all due respect, we know what was eaten and drunk, but well, someone will still pay for this "30 euros". Everyone was very upset about the rudeness and unfriendliness of this lady. After we left, everyone took a screenshot of what they paid, we neatly added it up and it turned out that we paid "22.50" more than what was on the receipt. If this were just a few euros, we would have said we'd leave it at that, but we thought 22.50 was quite a lot of money, so we drove back to the restaurant and explained the story to the clerk. And again the lady goes out of her way and shouts at a colleague in front of us angrily that she was never going to do this again and that we should just wait until the cash register was counted. We said fine, how long would this possibly take? yes, she didn't know that so we said it was no problem. The lady once again indicated in a disrespectful manner that this was really not possible. Then she said yes, if I give 20 euros then it will be solved. We said that we could appreciate this. While she walks in she is cursing and saying unkind things about us. When she came back with the 20 euros she said yes, what is 20 euros now on such an account (the bill was almost 500 euros) well you can't look in someone's wallet and we think 20 euros is a lot of money, again if this was a few euros we wouldn't have bothered. We have decided that this was the first and last time at this restaurant and we will not recommend it to anyone, we felt we were treated very disrespectfully and what should have been a fun evening for the children turned out to be far short of the mark.

We got cappuccinos that were really not good. They smelled sour and just tasted bad. When we said something about it, the owner said that was not possible. The device wouldn't allow that. Still got new ones but they didn't taste ok either. We left that one. Told a clerk that the new coffees were also dirty. He would discuss it with the owner, but unfortunately he heard nothing more about it. Too bad about the nice location and nice decor.

In tegenstelling tot mei 2024 was deze reservering nu wel fijn, het eten goed (wel prijzig vooral een kindermenu) en bediening goed, snel en vriendelijk. Speelruimte binnen blijft fijn voor de kinderen. Er was weer iemand die de kinderen schminkte. Dat er veel kinderen in het restaurant rond lopen is niet storend. Kortom een aanrader.

Ordered snitzel menu with pepper sauce yesterday. It was ready in about 5 minutes. We were amazed that it was ready so quickly. The pepper sauce, quickly thrown into the frying pan, was just like water. And fries weren't good either. And the vegetables were also just slightly fluffed onto the plate. It didn't look right. Sorry location looks nice. But never eat again. What a mess you got on your plate

the place is nice,it has inside and outside areas to eat and also for kids to play but unfortunately some of the staff are rude,they way they talk and pretend to not understand us because we are foreigner,it wasn't our first time there and it wasn't also the first time that we got that feeling,and even our friends feel the same way,the lady who took our order tonight was in rush I think and rude ,but we go there because is cloose to us,last night before we completely seating she was asking for what we would like to drink,we didn't saw any menu yet,and after we tried to choose from the menu she was acting like we are wasting her time , and after we ordered i wanted to double check the orders because we were 7 persons including 3 kids so I didn't want to miss anything(as they did once before) but she said in really rude way:I know what I am doing,her attitude made me uncomfortable the whole night,we may not coming back again

Het eten was goed en de plek is fijn met kinderen door de leuke buitenspeeltuin. Vooral met de air trampoline vermaakten zij zich goed. Bij het eten kregen de kinderen een muntje waarmee ze later een cadeautje mochten uitzoeken en dit was een groot succes. Bij aankomst was onze reservering niet bekend. Pas toen we bevestiging van de reservering konden laten zien, mochten we plaatsnemen. Er werd ons verteld dat er personeelstekort in de keuken was, dus dat het wat langer kon duren voordat we eten zouden hebben. Het duurde echter RUIM anderhalf uur voordat we onze bestelling kregen. Zelfs voordat we ons eerste drankje hadden, zaten we er al meer dan een half uur. Waarom dan toch alle reserveringen aannemen? Bestek werd niet gebracht, ook niet na dus dat zijn we zelf maar gaan halen. Ook onze volgende drankjes zijn we zelf binnen gaan ophalen. Die stonden wel klaar op een dienblad, maar werden niet gebracht. Voor de kinderen bestelden we naturel pannenkoeken, maar we kregen (duurdere) pannenkoeken met Nutella. Personeel was vriendelijk, op 1 persoon na. Slechte kaart als je vegetarisch of vegan wilt eten, hier zijn nauwelijks opties voor, zelfs in alle salades zit vlees of vis.

Bediening erg gastvrij, zijn goed ingesteld op jonge kinderen. Fijne speelkamer waar de kinderen zelfs geschminkt werken! Eten kwam snel door, kinderen werden tijdens het dessert als eerste voorzien, heel fijn! Bij een kindermenu krijg je een muntje, waarmee ze een cadeautje mogen uitzoeken! Hele fijne avond gehad!

The pancakes were fine. Not necessarily very special, but also not really anything worth noting. Service was really great. Especially for the children. Plenty to do for the kids. Het is altijd vervelend als je positieve ervaringen hebt die bedorven worden door een negatieve benadering van een personeelslid. Dat hadden wij vandaag op het terras met een vrouwelijke medewerkster die in tegenstelling tot haar behulpzame collega onze wens op een zonnig terras niet wenste te realiseren. Vriendelijke verzoeken mochten niet baten, zonder opgaaf van redenen werd de parasol uitgeklapt en moesten we in de schaduw verder eten. We hebben wederom heerlijk en gezellig geluncht , maar deze onvriendelijke benadering viel een beetje tegen.

Delicious food, and the children can play in the playground. A nice bonus is that the children receive a coin with their children's menu with which they can choose a toy afterwards.
