DOK Bar&Bites in Wijk 01 Binnenstad

A cozy place with very friendly staff. The prices are a bit high for relatively small portions, even though the quality is excellent. It's just a shame that the cherry pie was served with blackberries instead of cherries without us mentioning it. A fine choice for a glass of wine and appetizers, but not for dinner.

I went here with a friend to catch up over a bite to eat and a drink. It turned out great. DOK is a really nice place. I'd love to go back.

We were able to celebrate our 40th anniversary at Dok. And we had a wonderful time. Our guests were also very enthusiastic! Everything went smoothly, and there were so many possibilities. The space is very atmospheric, and you can use the outdoor seating. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was sublime, a variety of appetizers were served, and everything was perfectly arranged. Thank you so much for our unforgettable party!

Nice place for a snack and a drink

Waiting 20 minutes for a cheesecake and apple pie. Then I had to ask where it was. "Because there's a scoop of ice cream, it's going through the kitchen, and that's why it's taking so long." ...They came back 5 minutes later, saying they'd have more cheesecake. 🙄🙈

We sat here today with a group after visiting Big Rivers. What a relief to be able to sit down and relax for a bit. We sat on the patio, but it was also very cozy inside with good music and a great atmosphere. Excellent service, delicious food, and great cocktails! Everything arrived quickly and was served with a smile and a pleasant chat by a very pleasant staff member (who was also very helpful with a difficult keto diet guest in our group). Definitely recommended and definitely worth a visit.

The food was great, but the rest wasn't good. The service was terrible. The servers didn't check on the tables, so we couldn't order for another 15 minutes. We didn't get our food until half an hour later, even though we were having lunch. No one asked how the food was or if we wanted any drinks or anything. I wouldn't eat here!

Besides the fact that Dok is an atmospheric restaurant where the food is great, it is also possible to rent a separate part of the building for a party. We did this and Dok is also great in this! The location has a great appearance. Communication with the owner is very pleasant and professional. On the evening itself everything went smoothly. Dok had decorated the location and the decoration was completely in the style of the room itself, very stylish. If you rent this location, a separate terrace is included. Very nice in good weather. Dok can also provide dinner in a street food-like setting. We made use of this option. And this was also perfectly arranged. The food was delicious. Dok has a good team in the kitchen. We had a vegetarian guest and a guest with a food allergy and this was taken into account right from the start of the party. The location has its own bar that was manned by 2 great bartenders. They made sure that our guests did not miss anything. Afterwards we only heard compliments from our guests about the location, the food and the bartenders. And most importantly: the birthday boy himself had a great evening!

What a fantastic food and service it was. It was really great really recommended. I didn't want bread with my salad but the chef gave an insanely beautiful twist of a salad it tasted really great. I will definitely come back.

I come here almost monthly, always super tasty and cozy. Food tasty and lots of choice for sandwiches. Only a pity that you can only order most 'bites' from 15:00, because if you want to do a shared lunch now there is not much choice of snacks unfortunately. Nevertheless, I like to come here very much!

A great atmosphere, beautiful decor, and a very friendly street food/tapas menu, with original recipes that are a change from other places. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a wonderful evening. The only downside: a little pricey.

I want to share my unpleasant experience in this restaurant. I really want visitors to pay attention to what is happening in this restaurant. On 23.03.2025 in the evening, a blonde girl ( she said she was a responsible manager at that evening ) was so rude to us that she brought my friend to tears. We came to celebrate a birthday in this restaurant, we order 4 sweets , two glasses of cola , one glas of water and one glass of spa red When we finished, we asked kindly to split the bill for 3 person . The “ manager “ girl refused immediately, she said she don’t have a time for this , one should pay and then we have to use “ tikki” or whatever we want . We refused, we say , then each one of us will pay for itself . She said , no , One should pay for all .. when we refused second time , she said she will do exception and let everyone pay . She also add that in busy evenings she don’t have time for this kind of way of payments , but It was not busy .. !! So , finally we agreed. My friend would pay for two and rest of us will pay for each other , Three payments for four person . My friend pay for two and second girl wanted to pay for herself but she got a bill for two person! When we asked why she had to pay for two persons , the “ manager “ said : it’s her own fault, she pressed her pas and payed .. I am not responsible for her mistake ! It was awful! It was not nice . It was not service , it was not klasse We asked for manager , she said she was the only manager , we asked owner , he was not present The attitude to words is was very hostile!! At the end she add : You were having nice time with each other , you could pay with Tikkie ! But it is not her place to decide how we should pay !!! If she would asked kindly .. maybe ,but not Demanding , not with that kind of attitude, not with this rudeness!!! She was angry , irritated, not friendly . At the end , we said , we will never come back ..” it’s your choice” - she said very indifferently.. We suspect that attitude is caused by the fact that we were not Dutch. This is a disgusting example of discrimination.. Very pity .. our attentions were to memorise and spend a nice moment with our friend, instead we went out very disappointed.

Nice for a drink but also for eating

Food was fine, service extremely disappointing. Sitting at the table with 2 adults and a child, order 3 dishes. 1 of them was put on the table within 5 minutes, the other 2 took more than 10 minutes. Indicated to the waiter that we thought this was a bit special, the response was, yes, that's how it goes sometimes. A second drink was also not an option because the other waitress did not feel much need to ask for it.

Had a delicious meal here, lots of choice. But of course we also opted for carpaccio here. You will receive this very nicely presented on a wooden board. We also had KFC chicken pieces with a delicious dressing on top.

Far too expensive drinks board. Asked for drinks for 2 people and had to pay for 3 people. €75 for hot snacks. Very disappointing.

We were told that the bitterballen were the best in Dordrecht, but they were impossible to beat, the parasol was turned out when we asked, the boss has a big mouth towards his colleagues and is therefore unfriendly, hopefully he will be put on hold soon because this is possible no longer in 2024 Besides the fact that the rose was again unsatisfactory, we had 2 bottles but definitely wanted our money back. Besides that, the view on the terrace is beautiful.

I was taking pictures in the area when I came across DOK. Had a nice latte and a Red Velvet. Tasted Perfert.

What an incredibly fun thing! Food above expectations and staff who enjoy their work, and they radiate that.

Very sad thing since the new owner, A friend was refused here because he was not Dutch, and people said that you had too much to drink while you entered the shop sober around dinner time. Strange way of doing business.

A really bad experience, everything was just dumped on the table & I received raw meat when I ordered ribeye and asked for a solution: With an attitude I was told I should have asked! You sit there with 5 people spending money for 5 hours Well, I'm never coming back, you understand

Nice affordable lunchroom decorated with a light English accent around the corner from the Achterom parking building. For each of the four of us a "A little me time" for € 12.50 and a drink of your choice. Service by 2 employees who were not aware of each other's table? Confusing for them but also for us. Food, no matter how simple, took quite some time to be served. Maybe the kitchen was busy and both waitresses asked us "anything to drink?"

When they first opened years ago, they were the first in Dordrecht with a 'shared dining' concept (outside the tapas restaurants). They still do this well and innovatively, all with a great atmosphere.

Dit tentje is echt 5 sterren waard. Alleen al om de reden hoe royaal de kaas topping is op onze friet. En natuurlijk een fijne service en een mooi gelegen plekje.

Na heel lang een keer terug. En wat heb ik ervan genoten. Ondanks de drukte van "wijn en spijs" geen idee wat dat is. Een mooi plekje aan het raam weten te bemachtigen en een heerlijke middag gehad. Lekkere kleine gerechtjes op en een overheerlijk wijntje. (Pinot) De bediening krijgt van mij 6 sterren. Iedereen met zoveel positive vibe maar uJoey is een topper!!!!!! De juiste service wat je moet hebben op een zondagmiddag. Meedenken, praatje, liefde voor zijn werk. Al met al een 5 sterren ervaring en ik ga zeker terug! Een aanrader!!!!!

Leukste bar in Dordrecht, lekkere coctails!

The atmosphere was nice seiner it is close to the water and etc, but there is the fruit from my cocktail in the picture below. I complained to the waitress and he didn’t do nothing about it…

Lekker eten, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ook een aanrader voor een (alcohol vrije) cocktail of speciaalbiertje met een schaaltje nacho's of andere lekkere gerechtjes erbij.

Nice place for dinner with a nice view

Heel lang moeten wachten op onze gerechtjes, die vervolgens ook niet erg lekker waren.

Helaas woon ik in Rotterdam. Ik was in Dordt en dan ga ik graag met mooi terrasweer even langs Dok. Fijn, klein terras waar je rustig kunt genieten van je drankje en je hapje. Vriendelijke bediening, je wordt gezien. Leuke menu kaart met lekkere hapjes/gerechten. Zeker een aanrader!!

Heerlijk vertoeven daar. Mijn Zus woont er boven, als het even uit komt zit ik daar graag 🥂

Food is good but it takes ages. Go and enjoy it if you are not in a rush.

Een fantastische surprise party gehad voor mijn dochter. Ongelofelijk lief, aardig, kindvriendelijk personeel. Lief voor de kinderen, niets was hen teveel. De hele avond de lekkerste hapjes, drankjes enz. En dat ook nog eens op een schitterende locatie. Een grote aanrader!!!

Geweldige plek om te borrelen! Heerlijke fingerfood en drankjes. Inrichting is super gezellig, voelt aan als een super trendy huiskamer.

Gisteravond hier heerlijk gegeten samen met mijn zussen & moeder. Na een gezellig dagje Dordrecht een super afsluiting! Kleine bites om samen te delen. Verse ingrediënten, lekker gekruid & veel keuzes... Aardige bediening. Zeker een aanrader!!

Дорого, цены не указаны в меню, официанты медленные и коктейли заказанные несколько раз фирменные бара хотя и были одинаковые но смешанные в неравных пропорциях ,на второй заказ решили лайм положить я так понял разные бармены мешали .☹️ Короче не советую!!

Heerlijke hapjes gegeten buiten op het bankje aan het raam. Aardige bedieding en veel keuze op de kaart.

Zaterdag 16 juli zijn we op terugweg van Big Rivers hier wat gaan eten. 2 gerechten gekozen die verassend lekker was. Zondag hetzelfde verhaal maar als extra een ontzettende leuke blije dame die ons bediende. Dat extraatje maakte het helemaal af. Dank je wel hiervoor.
