Excellent Italian restaurant where my girlfriend and I had dinner on a Saturday night. The whole team is welcoming, and the subdued lighting adds to the restaurant's charm. Diners are seated at intervals to fully enjoy their meal. I highly recommend it! Grazie ancora.

Ordered 4 pizzas for takeout. They were ready in fifteen minutes. The pizzas were piping hot and absolutely delicious! We enjoyed them and will definitely order again or dine in the restaurant.

Terrible environment and not child friendly at all. We did not even stay long enough to taste the food. We arrived with our kids around 17:45 to an empty restaurant. There was an older staff member constantly looking at us since the beginning with an evil look, as if we should not be there. At some point, there was not one, but 3 employees starring at our family, the only customers in the restaurant, and making us very very uncomfortable. It was not an attentive look. It was a purposeful look to make us feel bad. Eventually we just asked to pack our food and leave the empty restaurant, which is probably what they wanted since we walked in... What a bizarre experience...

I really wanted spaghetti vongole but was told they were out of it. So I ordered carbonara instead. Five minutes later, the table next to me ordered vongole and was told there was only one portion left. The carbonara was tasteless, with a creamy ragout that was far too thick. The melanzane parnagiano was mostly melted Parmesan, and the eggplant was practically nonexistent, only three slices. All in all, a bad experience. I won't be back.

As always, I had a wonderful time last night!! I've known this restaurant for a long time. The delivery service is just as friendly and fast as the service in the restaurant. The owner keeps a close eye on everything in terms of service!!! I've driven to Italy for years with flowers and vegetables and fruit back. When you eat at Dolce Verona, I taste that Italian atmosphere and cuisine and hospitality again... I introduced my neighbors last night and they were completely enthusiastic. We come back often😃😃. Prices are reasonable... and parking after 6 p.m. is free. Do make a reservation because within 30 minutes after 6 p.m. the place fills up. They also have a terrace. Va Bene.!!!

Great welcome, the servers try to speak to us in French or Italian to make it easier to welcome you. The pizza is delicious. You really have to come and discover this little corner of Italy in Holland.

Your delivery guy just dropped off food at the neighbors and threw the receipts in the bushes in front of our door. When I tell him to take his trash with him, he tells me to take it easy. Because of this guy, I will never eat or order from you again. Shameless behavior and bad publicity for your business.

We just left without eating our meal. We visit this place almost every month, but for the past two visits, we've noticed that the waitstaff keeps getting our order wrong. We come here mainly because our toddler loves the pizza, but for the second time in a row, our meals were served while his pizza was forgotten and instead of pepperoni there was salami on my pizza (that’s not a reason to walk out). The lady who got our order seems to be uninterested, but all we wanted that our little guys has his pizza. It is frustrating because we can’t enjoy our food while he goes without— especially when he doesn’t want anything else.

A very nice pizza, fresh ingredients and helpful staff at a good price

I am Dolce Verona's most frequent online food orderer and probably the most loyal restaurant customer. We have been to the restaurant countless times with my family and with our guests. We also order pizza home every (yes, every) Friday via uberEats. It is all in the records, you can check it. We made a reservation for 6 people for Friday evening, March 7, 2025 at 19:00. We came to the restaurant as myself, my wife, my two young children, my friend and my friend's wife. We said we had a reservation. They said our table was not ready, we could wait for a “very short” time at a smaller table, and the big table would be ready soon. We waited for 20 minutes. A large table was being prepared at that time. While we were waiting, another group of 7 people came. I asked if this table was being prepared for us, waitress lady said yes. However, when the table was prepared, they took the group that came later to that table and the restaurant manager came to me and asked me again if I had a reservation!! And he asked us to wait a little longer!! I don't remember being humiliated this much in my life. It was also very embarrassing because I had my guests there! I definitely do not want to eat or order food from Dolce Verona again and I do not recommend it to anyone. I will tell everyone around about this experience. You have definitely lost your most loyal and most frequent customer!

Waited over an hour and a half for my order. Employees who make false promises by saying that it will arrive in 20 minutes and when you call again after 30 minutes you hear that it is only now being prepared. Ridiculous! no compensation and no apology.

Ordered pizzas, no communication at all about the delay. After waiting almost 2 hours and always promising "yes it will be with you in 30 minutes" still no pizzas!!! Worthless, don't take orders if you're so busy! And can't deliver.

We were there on November 30, 2024. The lady serving took our order with her arms crossed over her chest. When it took her too long she walked away and said she would come back. Hospitality industry is not her thing. Filetto gorgonzola was cooked well medium rare. However, the lady didn't ask me how I wanted the filetto. She was apparently busy with the two tables that were occupied at the time?? Unfortunately the gorgonzola sauce was not gorgonzola. Some blue cheese that's probably cheaper. There was also only two tablespoons of sauce on the filetto. Far too little. Again, too many overcooked peppers and mushrooms with potatoes. Pizza bambino was not tasty, too thick and too much cheese. Seafood pasta was also not good. Way too much salmon (canned?) and too salty. All in all not recommended. Rude service and not good Italian food. But it costs 100 euros for two adults and two children.

Main course meat was good, but very few vegetables and potatoes for 35 euros! Starter was fine. Dessert was really cheap junk and that for 12.50 chemical yellow fake vanilla ice cream doesn't taste like vanilla ice cream at all with weak fake whipped cream and a cheap fake chocolate stick, too bad. Service could be more attentive

Wow this pasta was so delicious. It's been a long time since I've had such a delicious pasta takeaway. I ordered the Spaghetti Con Pollo Crema Tartufo. If this pasta tastes like this then I'm really curious to know what else they have that is tasty. I'll come more often.

This authentic Italian restaurant serves truly the most delicious, classic Italian dishes. The flavors are really fantastic. Although there were fewer Italian staff on the day I visited, this did not detract from the quality of the service at all. It just struck me. My youngest (18 years old) couldn't get enough of his Pizza Margherita, and I enjoyed a delicious risotto – truly finger-licking good, topped off with a delicious chocolate dessert. Delicious! In my opinion, the ambiance could be a little more pleasant, but I will definitely come back here for the food. Definitely recommended for lovers of Italian cuisine!

We came here for desserts such as tiramisu and panna cotta. I can’t say that I enjoyed the taste thought. Also, desserts were quite overpriced. Coffee is bad. Atmosphere: the place is busy, loud and hectic, but staff is going their job well. It would be nice if they could also bring you the bill instead of paying at the bar. The place is okay, but just because there not many other restaurants in the area.

I ate here while on a trip with a rugby team, we turned up last minute, asked to seat 17 people, and they welcomed us enthusiastically. The food and service were amazing! The wait staff were so fast along with the kitchen. A highlight of our trip for sure! 🧡

We have returned three times during our stay in Amsterdam and we were always served by Isha who was just adorable to us amazing her total attention to our visit. The food always came out within the normal time necessary for a la carte food. Their sauces were very special and tastefully presented. Wholly recommend this beautiful restaurant with terrific staff and the kitchen staff are the best. Definitely five stars.

We were staying at the Ibis hotel nearby so Dolce Verona was a convenient short stroll away. It is located in a very unassuming suburban spot which belies the high quality, delicious food. We enjoyed it so much that we chose it for two of our three evening meals. For my first meal I ordered the caprese pizza followed by tiramisu and for my second meal I had the panzerotti pinoli pasta dish. All were excellent. My friend had the tagliatelle alla Romana (chicken and broccoli) both times as she enjoyed it so much! We received a friendly welcome on both occasions and the bill was very reasonable compared to UK prices. The only slight quibble was that service could have been a bit more proactive, but having said that, we were in no hurry! We chose to sit outside on the terrace, which meant we could watch the birds on the water and see our hotel in the distance while the sun set. If I’m in Amsterdam again I’ll be sure to return to Dolce Verona!

Based on the many positive reviews, I visited this restaurant and let me start on a positive note. The Antipasti misto was great. Everything nice and fresh, beautiful flavors, in short, a great start. Unfortunately, he only came about 45 minutes after we had taken a seat and after asking the waiter. Then we had to wait more than an hour for the main course, the quality of which was shockingly poor in both cases. The Spaghetti alle Vongole contained a few Vongole, but mainly a lot of mussels and a lot of sand. Completely inedible. The Cannelloni was completely tasteless. They couldn't handle the crowds at all, but kept assigning tables to new guests. This is the textbook example of what not to do.

Wow, what an upsetting delivery. We’ve ordered seven times from this place and it’s always been fine but today, the man who delivered yelled at me. He said he couldn’t find my house and called (I was busy but also don’t see any messages/calls left) and was waiting around for 35-40 minutes. I told him sorry but he just rolled his eyes at me and said “that’s what they all say.” Wow. Get it together. Your staff have been to my house more than 5 times and never have had a problem. Rolling your eyes at me and yelling at me…you’ve just lost a local regular. Your attitude made me lose my appetite.

For 3 people it was quite expensive. My steak of €35 was full of sinews and had to send it back. In place of that got a Dissarano liquer as a sorry. Still had to pay for it. Quite the put down.. Not recommended!!!

The food here is fine in itself. Nothing wrong with that. They have only discriminated against people here based on their vaccination status during corona. We were also refused here because we did not have a valid ausweis, and of course we will never come here again. So that we never forget. The wallpaper is very appropriate.

Today we ordered food here for the first time, because there is no longer a decent Italian in Uithoorn who also delivers to your home. We ordered everything: Antipasto Misto Spaghetti Aglio Olio e Pereroncino Spaghetti fungi crema tartufo Lasagna Regina Pizza Cafoncella The delivery person was perfectly on time and friendly. The pizza arrived lukewarm, but you can't really avoid that because of the distance. The rest of the hot food was nice and hot. Everything was neatly packed and even the lasagna had barely leaked. More importantly, it was really delicious! Everything was so full of flavor and the spaghetti Aglio was nice and spicy. The filling of the lasagna was also great: you often get thick layers of pasta with a tiny bit of sauce, but this was really perfect with a delicious, creamy, well-filled sauce. The pastas were also perfect in terms of doneness. The antipasti was not as in the photo with vitello tonnato etc., but a mix of all kinds of meats, cheese, vegetables, smoked salmon and bruschetta. Everything wonderfully fresh and very tasty. Good portions too. We ate at home as in a restaurant and that's exactly how we like it. 👌🏻 The price-quality ratio is absolutely excellent. We cannot say anything about the atmosphere because we have not been to the restaurant. We are completely happy: after a long search we have finally found another Italian for the "treat evenings"! Lovely family run Italian restaurant in the heart of Amstelveen. The quality of the food was excellent for a reasonable price and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I found out that the wine list has recently been expanded as well which gives you lots of great options to pair with the food. Highly recommended!
