Veri Sapori in Keizer Karelpark

From start to finish... fantastic! Had a wonderful time with the family ❤️

Our memorable Italian since 20 years ago. The antipasto are specially good.

The food, the service, everything is truly top-notch. We have been coming here for years and it really feels like coming home. Delicious dishes and very friendly service. This is my go-to Italian restaurant!

We have been here a number of times. Once again, we had a very good meal. It is a pity that regular guests receive more attention; one waiter was very grumpy and was also grumbling at the kitchen staff, who were working very hard. The other staff were friendly, though.

Not recommended. Medium food, high price and very bad service. I would like to react to your answer. You was bussy looking on your phone a football match and you did not pay attention to your clients. We needed to wsait a long time until you react. The dish that we got was uneatable both in terms of taste and apperance. We send the dish back to the kitchen. You , as an aowner, should respect your clients and offer us another dish and not leave us hungry with out any food(except if we will pay for a new dissh after you took thsat dish completely non eaten back). You should respect your guests . And by the way, the rest of us found the restaurant very medium food with a very high price . It is the first time that I experience such a bad attitude in a reataurant.

High expectations beforehand, because this restaurant is known for the high quality of its food. The food was good (we wouldn't call it outstanding), but the service at Veri Sapori was downright bad. It is a shame for the young female employee, who was quite friendly, because her young male colleague dragged the mood down considerably with his arrogant attitude and curt responses, which left a lasting mark on our experience. From the very first moment until our departure, he couldn't manage a smile; he didn't make any extra effort to make his guests feel welcome. In our eyes, there was a total lack of friendliness and hospitality. When we asked for a little extra time to choose our main course, we were told (not in so many words) that we needed to hurry up a bit, because the menus would be in the way when serving the starters. Prompt service can be nice, but the courses were rushed through rather quickly, which, combined with the unfriendly male waiter, did not exactly contribute to creating a pleasant evening. All this, without any clear reason for us. If the profession of making people happy is not your forte, then don't work there, we believe. We are sorry, but due to this experience, Veri Sapori was a bitter disappointment to us and not worth a repeat visit. A real shame.

We had a delicious meal. Excellent service. We chose not to stay for coffee: the guests around us were so noisy that we could barely hear ourselves. We will definitely be back, but early in the evening or for lunch!

Really good food. Very nice waiters and owner. Good family business. I would definitely recommend it!

The food was delicious. The service was very polite, yet my husband missed a certain warmth. I had read that the food was quite pricey, but after reading everything, I found it to be very reasonable. The restaurant is definitely on my list of places to keep.

Had a delicious meal! Lovely staff. Highly recommended!!!

Expensive but delicious, too bad they don't have much of a selection of non-alcoholic drinks. (No wine, 0.0%)

Great food, not cheap. Too bad there wasn't a free limoncello at the end.

Excellent ravioli, as well as the appetizer and dessert. Best Italian yet!

Best Italian meal I’ve had in a long time and we were in Rome last year. I can’t wait to come back to Amstelveen just to have a reason to come back here. And it was dog friendly! A 100% recommendation from us

It was incredibly good! I recommend it!

I had the truffle pasta at Veri Sapori, and it was simply fantastic. From the first bite, you can taste the genuine ingredients and love for Italian cuisine. The pasta was perfectly al dente, and the truffle flavor was beautifully balanced: aromatic and deep, but never overpowering. What's most striking is the purity of the dish. No unnecessary fuss, just exactly how you'd expect to eat it in Italy. The sauce was creamy without being heavy, and every bite remained elegant and full of flavor. With this truffle pasta, Veri Sapori demonstrates their commitment to quality and authenticity. Highly recommended for lovers of authentic Italian food, and truffle in particular. I'll definitely be back.

Best Italian dishes and nice atmosphere

Cozy family restaurant. Friendly service and fantastic food. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back.

I’ve been to Veri Sopari a few times now, including on my birthday, and I’ve always really liked the food. You usually need to book ahead, which is fine, but it makes it even more frustrating that the service has been consistently awful every single time. The staff are always rude and genuinely not hospitable. They have this attitude like it’s a chore to be working or serving you. They barely acknowledge us, they don’t make any effort to be welcoming, and they constantly leave us waiting for even the simplest things. Today was the worst yet and the whole experience was extremely disappointing. The food is great, but the service is so unbelievably bad that we won’t be going back. It’s such a shame, because the place could be amazing if they actually treated their customers properly.

The owner didn't look so happy, no hospitality at all! We didn't feel welcomed. Many a times he stared at us in the eyes without even a smile (even when we tried to smile to him) when he was taking order or bringing the food, never came to ask if everything was OK with our food. Food was not that delicious that you can find as authentic in Italy. My spagetti was a bit sandy now and then in my bites, could be from the mussels that were not washed properly. This is the very first time we try this restaurant though it is steps away from our house. The restaurant looks small cosy, but BIG thumb down for the service attitude. Amstelveen doesn't have so much to offer in term of restaurants, while this could have been our eat-out choice in town, yet we will never come back!

Top service. What great service, I'll definitely be back. Thank you Sofia and Angelika.

Beautiful atmosphere - enjoy the food! Highly recommended!

Enjoyed it very much, top restaurant,

A well-hidden surprise in Amstelveen. Delicious food and superb service. Prices are a bit steep, though. Reservations are recommended.

Great tent, try the sgropinno as a final stop!

Always a 10/10! My favorite restaurant in Amstelveen. The food is always delicious, and everything on the menu is highly recommended. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy and homey. Plus, Mario always has a smile.

We come here regularly. Friendly staff and delicious food!

I had a truly delicious meal. The service was also excellent. Lovely music in the background. Definitely worth it.

The food is truly amazing, as true lovers of Italian cuisine, my girlfriend and I are always surprised by the quality every time we try a new dish.

Amazing taste and service! Friendly staff. Felt like a little Italy🇮🇹

The food was absolutely delicious! Friendly people who really take the time to ensure your meal is delicious and well-prepared. In my opinion, the best Italian restaurant in the country!

I’ve been lucky enough to eat at excellent high-end restaurants worldwide, but this spot remains one of my absolute favourites. I’ve eaten here countless times, yet the food and service still impress me every single time. The quality, consistency, and care that go into every dish are unmatched, and the staff always make you feel genuinely welcomed. Whenever I’m in the Netherlands, it’s one of the first places I go to and return to over and over and over again.

It's so nice to be back here. It's been a few years since it's located completely off the beaten track, tucked away in an older neighborhood in Amstelveen. I don't even like Italian cuisine, but my companions absolutely love it. That's why it's all the more surprising that I really enjoyed the food. The terrace has been renovated, but the food and service are familiar and good. It's worth a detour.

I've eaten there several times now; it's a really great place! Super tasty food, great service, and a very cozy atmosphere. I even learned to eat pasta without a knife! In short, highly recommended!

Family owned always fantastic 👏

Delicious food, nice staff and good service. We like to come here.

Delicious authentic Italian food in a good atmosphere.

Lovely Italian restaurant, you really feel like you are in Palinuro (where the owners come from)… Service is also very friendly. Recommended!

Good food, unfortunately we sat in the conservatory where the atmosphere is a bit less

We had a delicious meal yesterday and the service was great. Thank you

The food was really good. The waiter was very unfriendly, he ignored us. Too bad.

Always pleasant. Pleasant friendly service. Fantastic food. Touch of Italy.

Wonderful evening of real Italian

You must make a reservation, otherwise there is a good chance that there will be no room

Very great restaurant. Authentic and delicious. I'd love to come back

Delicious food and wine served with a smile from lovely waitress and family team 👌

Delicious food. Nice service and good atmosphere.

One of the best Italian ristorante in the region you’re rock thanks

Very tasty. Thought the portions were just too small. There was plenty of room in the conservatory. In the restaurant you sit too close to each other. But I will definitely eat there a few more times.💕

Food is disappointing and so is the service. It was striking that a lot of attention was paid to “regular guests” and we new guests were put in a bad spot where hardly any attention was paid to them. We had to call the waiter three times for our orders. The food didn't have much flavor and was too rich for us. Not worth repeating.

Had a fantastic meal, of course we chose the pasta parmigiano, which is made in the restaurant with vodka flambéed in the cheese itself and topped with truffle, highly recommended! Service speaks Italian and is neat and pleasant. A bit hidden in an unpleasant corner of Amstelveen, but if you know where to find it... you will feel like you are in Italy.

I have never eaten such a delicious risotto as here. Truly phenomenal! I definitely recommend this restaurant for real Italian food lovers.

Top! from A to Z. Great atmosphere and service, delicious food and drinks.

What a nice family restaurant! Also baby friendly and the food is really tasty.

Best Italian place in the area!!

The food is bland, today raw pieces with the sea bass. Overpriced and not nicely plated. Found disappointing. Great service tho!!!

Delicious food! Great service, nice people. Would love to come back here often

The service here was terrible! One of the servers at the front was very rude to me and my family and at one point almost hit my father on the head while bringing a wine bucket to the neighbouring table, hitting the chair instead. No apology, not even a glance. Shameful! When we asked questions he was also rude with his reply, but to be paying over 50 euro a person and receive that kind of service is just ridiculous. I would not recommend!

Had a wonderful evening at this cozy restaurant in Amstelveen. Food was delicious, just a little more special than your standard Italian restaurant. Service was great, even though they were very busy. Cheerful, cozy and welcoming. I'll definitely be back!

Food was delicious, as always. But I have to give a 2 for the food because my husband got food poisoning after we ate there He ate spaghetti a la seppia, on Tuesday 16 July

It's incredible how this family can make you feel like you're the only one in the restaurant every time. Fantastic, personal service and of course delicious food. Can't wait until we go again.

Very nice pasta. 🍝 especially the seafood pasta and lobster pasta.

The food was delicious. I gave 4 stars to service because as soon as we arrived at the restaurant, they reminded us that we had to leave 2 hours later. We were just two people and the reservation made 2 weeks before. Atmosphere would be better, I found it moderate.

I've lived in Amstelveen for a long time, but I never knew there was such a good Italian restaurant here. The antipasto misto and misto di bruchette had a good taste using beautiful ingredients. We ordered this together with bruschette pomodoro and mozzarella and it was sufficient for 5 people. The wine list has two pages with very pricey wines, but we took the Montepulciano from 2018: good red wine. As a starter, of course, we all had the pasta nel parmigiano, which we also came especially for. Wonderful to see how the prepared pasta with truffle is prepared in the cheese and flambéed with spirits (vodka) to melt the cheese, among other things. Good portions with lots of flavor. Fabulously delicious. My table companions still had room for a key lime pie and tiramusu, which was also good. The place was packed for a weekday: also a good sign. The time between courses was therefore a bit long, but we were in no hurry at all. Service was very adequate and attentive despite being busy. It's not cheap, but that's certainly fair for the quality offered. So all in all, recommended and we will definitely come back

A cozy restaurant with authentic Italian menu. Service was not at best may be due to also the crowd.

Everything was really delicious! Best Italian in Amstelveen and surrounding areas. Not cheap, but value for money.

Delicious food. Really enjoyed!! Angelica is so sweet.

Not only the tastiest Italian restaurant, but certainly the nicest. Try the ossabuco with risotto, the vitello tonato... everything is delicious

Very tasty meal. Real Italian cuisine.

Delicious high quality Italian food. Service very friendly and hospitable!

You've come to the right place for a pleasant and delicious evening with Italian food. The Saltimbocca was very good as a dish and so was the service. The only downside might be the price level.

The food was fine, the chef is fantastic, but the service people are terribly bad!! So blunt, not an ounce of kindness.....

Slightly more expensive than the usual Italian restaurant, but the top quality is more than worth it. It's better to eat great food once than mediocre food twice. Ate tenderloin myself. So tender to suck. Delicious dessert.

Starter and the ravioli filled with pumpkin in a delicious cream sauce, which is really soooo delicious..

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Friendly staff and did I mention the food is delicious?

Excellent food quality with great service. Everything we had was amazing. Our favorites are aubergine from antipasti, lamb meat and limoncello taart. Highly recommended!

Veri Sapori is an absolute household name in Amstelveen. We've been coming here for years. The tastiest pasta and Italian dishes. Top favorite. With the nicest service.

Delicious food again. Not very surprising, but always very good. Back in Italy for a bit, wonderful

Food is always great here! Service is very nice as it should be. Knowledgeable staff. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was ruined by a noisy celebrity with his phone on full volume just to be seen and heard. It would have been nice if the staff had said something about it. It determined the entire atmosphere of the conservatory and was the reason for us to leave early. That doesn't change the fact that we used to enjoy coming here and will certainly do so again.

Very good food and service in a family restaurant.

I have eaten there regularly and I was completely satisfied, last time no more bread and spreads, at least the guests who ordered bottles of wine received attention and were left dissatisfied after half an hour. Food was good, but service was minimal, if you want to earn money quickly, fine, but not with me there. Take care!!

I think it's a little expensive, but it's the same in Amsterdam. It's not Germany and it's hard to find cheap Italian food here. This is a store that will cheer you up. I had Penne al salmone for the first time, and it was tangy and delicious. The taco salad was also good. Congratulations to Napoli on winning for the first time in 33 years.

The best Italian restaurant in the Netherlands. Porcini pasta and lobster pasta are awesome.

Perfect place for Italian food. I have to admit that the bread can be improved.

Delicious food, good wine selection, very nice Italian family.

Nice staff, great local food, nice prices, average for Amsterdam

Friendly staff and really great food

Our favorite pasta with truffle, vodka and parmesan was disappointing on our last visit. Too bad because we were always very satisfied. The staff was also not always friendly this time. But we hope for better service and quality next time.

Food is good. Ordered the duetto as a starter, main ossobuco and lobster with spaghetti

Great place for fare price. Always sure that your evening will be great

Recommended by several and went there with high expectations. Food was tasty but the price was excessively high. Bruschetta dry and simple, limoncello cake dry, little limoncello tasted and quite pricey. Spaghetti parmigani was delicious. But above all, I found the service (owner) really not hospitable. No welcome, had to hang up coats yourself, grab coats yourself when leaving. No attention for us as guests... maybe it was just bad timing, but I found it quite disappointing

Authentic Italian cuisine. The misto di bruschette is highly recommended as a starter. Both the pasta nel parmigiano and the sgroppino are prepared at the table and are delicious. Highly recommended!

Tonight we ate in the restaurant for the first time and we had a fantastic evening. Sweet, committed people who think it is important that you feel comfortable and are up for a joke. Thank you very much for a delicious meal and we will definitely be back.

We absolutely love the place. The food is exceptional and the service is very friendly. Over the years we have tried various dishes and found each of them made with good quality ingredients.

It was fantastic again. Very good flavor balance.

It remains our favorite Italian in the area

What poor service, that you can speak to customers with chewing gum in your mouth, and also that you have forgotten spreads with the bread, the food was fine, but for that price I have my doubts!

They local quality Italian. Not just 'ordinary' pizzas, but also quality dishes, Italian seafood and upscale deserts. Always busy, so make reservations.

The taste is great, but it takes a while to get your order.

Excellent food, but price and potion size do not match. I got a calamari friti the size off a starter as a main course without any garnish. The espresso was a real joy.
