Tried to scam me out of £10 for an out of date waffle. I had to throw it away after two bites it was awful. Prices are not displayed and will scam people with made up prices. AVOID

Yes, it is indeed a shame that this is located in the Zeedijk in Amsterdam. As an Amsterdammer, I'm ashamed... I happened to walk in because my 4-year-old niece was lured by all the whipped cream in the display case. Indeed, there are no prices listed and we had to pay €24 for 2 waffles and a chocolate finger. And the strawberries on the waffle were spoiled!!! The man behind the counter was very unfriendly and thought I shouldn't complain because my girlfriend had paid. Surely something should be done about this? I can't imagine anyone here has had a good experience. The chairs at the back of the store were also all very unsanitary and broken. I give them a “0” because nothing was good.

No vayas a este lugar. Me cobraron 10 euros por un gofre que sabía asqueroso y era viejo. Mi culpa por no reaccionar lo suficientemente rápido y salir. Me arruinó el día. Trampa turística.

Absolute tourist trap. Owner has reported this place is permanently closed, probably to hide bad reviews but is it very much still open . Was sold a waffle for 10 euros which was disgusting and very old. My fault for not reacting quickly enough to walk out. Felt robbed afterwards and it ruined my outlook on Amsterdam.

Tourist trap No prices. Once at the counter they want €20 for 3 cakes. I accept this but then get told it's cash only. After explaining we only have €10 in cash he wants that and pulls out a card machine for the rest. AVOID at all costs. Cakes were average at best and appear to be generic as many other places seem to have the same in the window.

There are no price tags in the shop. Be aware! €10 for a waffle that does not taste good. Another €10 for churros that are super hard fried. Ridiculous.

We also fell for it. This "tourist trap". Because this was so bad!! We saw the waffles and cakes in the window. But also shawarma and the like above that. Sometimes you give something to a business and we spend 2 shawarma sandwiches. Pay 16 euros immediately. What a shame afterwards. Something so dirty. The sandwich looked like it came out of the microwave. No idea about meat, but certainly not shawarma. Also looked like rubber. We didn't even eat it. Returned and ran away. We also did not read the reviews in advance, unfortunately!!!

Bad service. The first shop told that the hot dog is 9 euro, another shop said the price of the same one is 6 euro. And they can't give the receipt with the detail list.

The window fools you and invites you to stop and order something, but at least the waffles are of the right quality, since the flavors are not as exotic as their colorful view promises. Furthermore, each unit can be around €8 or €9. Finally, the place has a very very narrow hallway, in which there is barely enough room for one person. If you go with a backpack it gets in the way.

Los precios se compensan a medida que avanza , para nuestro pedido según la parte superior de esta revisión nos cobraron 68 € y más tarde cuando preguntamos el precio por artículo llegó a mucho menos - demostrando su un estafador! ! ! ! 7 . Al confrontarle sobre sus travesuras ladronas afirmó que vendía cientos de artículos cada día - señalé que era porque estaba estafando a los turistas pobres y llevando a los holandeses y a Amsterdam a una mala reputación !!! Solo para añadir su dominio de ambos idiomas holandés e inglés son diabólicos hasta que llegó a abusar de mí! 8 es una pena que he tenido que dar una calificación de 1 estrella este lugar debería estar en los menos! ! ! ! ! Despite everything looking great i had the worst waffle i have ever eaten. It was probably made a long time ago, of course i didn’t finish it. Threw it to the paper bin in front of the guy who was btw rude as hell and didn’t say anything at all. Worst place in Amsterdam!!!

If only we had looked at the reviews here beforehand. After a hearty dinner, the cakes laughed at us. Then when paying, the rude awakening was €14 for two pieces of cake! And it wasn't even that special, you can get it better in the supermarket... no price signs and totally unfriendly staff, absolute tourist trap. I'm still annoyed.

After a nice turist day, we stopped there to have a quick bite before dinner. The food looked incredible but the taste was not the same... so be careful with that, things are not done on the day, they taste like being there for over a week at least... Additionally, we couldn't pay by card because he didn't want to (we saw the machine there) and he overcharged us!! 8€ per piece, that's a lot!! Avoid here at all costs. We ordered 2 juices an eclair and some churros and were charged €25! The guy looked aggressive so we didn’t try and dispute. The churros were terrible. Do not go here! You will be exploited!

If only 0 stars existed. Absolute worst service I have ever received. Left feeling extremely tearful and upset. For my last night in Amsterdam, I decided I wanted to spend my last few euros on some sweet treats. I said I would like the strawberry waffle and the man behind the counter said “€10”. Upset at the extortionate price I said “oh I’m sorry that’s too much for me, please could I have the plain one instead?”. He then proceeded to slam his hand down on the counter and shout “nope nothing for you here, bye bye”. Then, as I walked out of the shop feeling embarrassed and upset, both workers started clapping very loudly and threatening me by clashing together their cooking utensils. Very weird experience and still feeling extremely confused and upset.

That's the worst service we had ever experienced, the guy who's serving is super rude, aggressive. Using very abusive words while we were ordering food, he's the worst person we ever met.

I had a terrible experience at Dolcica Shop on March 5th, around midnight. I politely asked the guy if we were allowed to eat inside, and he aggressively replied that there is no inside sitting for Indians. I was shocked by his rude and discriminatory behavior. I left without any argument, feeling humiliated and upset. I cannot recommend this shop to anyone who values respect and inclusivity. Discrimination has no place in our society, and it's disappointing to see it happening in a public place like this. I hope the management takes this issue seriously and takes steps to ensure that all customers are treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their race or ethnicity.

A ver, no es la mejor comida. Ni es barata. Ni nada por el estilo. Pero también admito que después de un duro día de turismo nos ha sabido a gloria (la madalena de oreo estaba muy buena). Además hemos podido pagar con tarjeta de crédito española sin ningún problema, cosa que es de agradecer cuando ya se te ha acabado el efectivo.
