Pizzeria in Jordaan

What a disaster of a restaurant, I wish I had moved on. The bar is dirty, the bathroom smelled very bad, it was not cleaned and there was a cockroach. The food was bad and the pizzas were flat from the freezer. As if that were not enough, the menu is poorly made and they scammed us by charging us almost 15 euros for a margarita that was cheaper and they informed us at the end that we could only pay together and in cash. MISERABLE!!!😡

Staff who take advantage of running into tourists to make money. My wife and I went there, and the owner introduced us to the different dishes available, and that the toppings were free. My wife had a hamburger, and the boss asked her what she wanted with it. So she takes some fries, and the boss asks her if she wants cheese with it, so she takes some cheese. Finally, she had to pay for the fries and cheese, in addition to her hamburger. Obviously, the price of fries and cheese were not indicated on the menu, which therefore confirms the boss's words, and that this is included in the price of the hamburger. And because the best is for last, we don't want to have a drink, so that it doesn't cost too much, and just ask for water. It was only once we saw the bill that we noticed that the water was €6. Instead of paying what we had counted on the card, we had to add more than 10€. So if you are a tourist: DON'T GO HERE.

Worst service with the worst food

First of all, they did not have any tap water and only bottled which cost almost €6. The food was disgusting; most likely microwaved, pasta was over cooked and the “carbonara” looked and tasted like prison food, which would have been acceptable if it wasn’t for the extortionate pricing. Tacky decor. They stated that their card machine was broken so we had to pay in cash, and to top it all off, the server shorted me on the change, which thankfully I noticed at the time. Overall, pretty bad experience. DO NOT GO!!

Luckily, while I was waiting for my order to arrive, I decided to look at the Google reviews and was shocked to see the comments. The waiter really does try to push menu options as if they were some kind of courtesy of the restaurant. When I read the comments about the card machine, I immediately mentioned “if they accepted cards there, because they were out of cash” and the waiter said that “I could try, but the machine sometimes worked, sometimes not, but that I could withdraw money from the ATM in front of the establishment”. Soon after, a couple had to pay their bill and pay in cash because the card machine was out of order. When it was my turn, the machine worked normally, but I believe that this is only because I mentioned before that they were out of cash. The food is not bad, but it is not exceptional either. STAY TUNED!!!

AVOID!!! I’d give no stars if possible. Food was horrible (pasta dish) and service was even worse. It was so squashed in there due to the table layout and them squeezing extra tables in. Rushing people in and out (all about money not quality or service) The guy tried to make us go the cash machine and pay in cash claiming the card reader was broken but we refused and suddenly the machine was working again, he Then wouldn’t let us pay separately as he said you had to send over 30€ each. Worst dinning experience ever! Worst customer service and disgusting food, small portions at extortionate prices. I DO NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE!

First of all, the employees were unfriendly, they misheard the order, strange things came out, and the credit card machine didn't accept payments. I'm just trying to induce cash. Everyone there paid in cash as they didn't accept credit cards.

Delivery guy doesn't answer and when he answers he shouted into the phone telling me not to call him. Don't know if my food will be delivered. Paid 20 euros for nothing. I don't know if I should arrange something else for the food because there is zero contact or communication from the company. Extremely bad service, certainly do not order via Uber eats... I never leave reviews, but because this was such a bad experience I don't know what else I can do.

Ordered grilled cheese sandwich. When it got to my table the cheese was already cold and turned hard again. Careless people that don’t care about service

Subterranean when it comes to food and prices, the would-be boss in the bottom drawer is totally unfriendly! Pizza mud, pasta mini portion everything costs over 15 euros and wow Eun dog only barks when strangers come too close, the boss tells you, really not recommended! It's best to leave a wide berth around it!

Overpriced, hygienically questionable, never again.

Untasty food, the service is very pushy to sell extra starters, drinks, etc... Toilet might be interesting when you're an expert in biological warfare.

DO NOT GO UNDER ANY CONCEPT. The food itself is not bad, but nothing special either. What is outrageous is that they pretend that the dataphone is broken so that you pay in cash, in fact they already know the story well because they tell you that either you wait or you are going to take money in front of you. We told them that we didn't have the physical card but they insisted, when they saw that I was dialing the police number, COINLY it was fixed. Sad, pathetic and very sad. Tourist scammers.

VERY overpriced for the food we had but can't fault the food itself. Pretending that the card machine wasn't working is the reason I'm giving them 1 star

One of the worst experience ever, the owner or the person who served us, pretended that the terminal is broken so we we needed to pay in cash? And the meat wasn’t good and he didn’t bring it as we ordered. I will not recommend to eat there

Really good food. Very fresh Amstel. And excellent service. Quick and efficient.

Better to eat at MacDonald, terrible service, they bring things out of time, and expensive for how normal it is.
