This place is a magnet for rascals who gather outside the establishment, and actively bother pedestrians and even block the bike lane just for their amusement. The quality of the food and the smell is of the same level as the people who come to it especially at late hours at night. I recommend staying far from it.

Great quantity and taste! Better than most places in NY! Would recommend getting with fries as this gets a little salty.

Been here quite a few times now, so I feel like I can give an honest take!! Prices are fair, which is definitely a plus, especially for this area. The quality though… I’d say it leans more to the lower side, but somehow it still does the job when you need it. Let’s be real, the hygiene isn’t exactly perfect, so if you’re super picky about that, you might notice it. But to be fair, the guys working there are always friendly and welcoming, which I appreciate!! This is 100% one of those spots you go to after a night out, a few drinks in, and suddenly it hits exactly right. Late night cravings? Yes. Sober daytime lunch? Hmm… probably not haha!! Overall, it’s an okay place. Not amazing, not terrible, just one of those guilty pleasure spots you end up going back to anyway!!

When he was hungry, he stopped by here and had lunch. The kebab was normal, but according to him, the portion was big at 8 € and it made him really full. He couldn't finish it but he forced himself to finish it because he was afraid it would be wasted. 🤩

I’m a true local, this is the best donor of the city. They are always friendly even when you come at 03:00 and the food is great. Lot’s of fresh veggies. It is always clean, unlimited sauce on your table. Prices are relatively cheap. Everything is perfect.

Just an update: the chicken has no flavor, and the veal has changed and is absolutely disgusting, resembling a large, sliced ​​frikandel. Currently at 1 star, if you change the veal, I'll change it to 5. 😃

For me, as an Amsterdammer, this is one of the best döner places in the city. A well-filled sandwich, deliciously fast service, and always delicious. Friendly service, and a place that's been around for a long time. I personally find the atmosphere very relaxed, with fresh sauces on the table, and the place is always tidy. Dönerland... my favorite!

My favorite Kebab place in amsterdam. Quick, Cheap, Fast, Delicious. Always had the durum doner or the kapsalon. Totally recommend them. Packed with so much flavor and price is affordable.

Went here for a döner and it was really delicious - the meat is very tasty! Only small improvement point would be the garlic sauce. In Germany, you get more of a yoghurt garlic sauce and here in NL in general more of a Mayo garlic sauce Would be nice to have the yoghurt one :)

I tried to place an order for pickup. I spoke English clearly and normally. The man that answered was impatient and rude: he didn’t listen to me and eventually just put the phone down in my ear. I didn’t feel good about supporting this restaurant, and decided to go to the place just down the street.

Went to amsterdam for the first time and saw this kebab place. Walked in and the worker was so nice, he showed us the menu and welcomed us with a smile. Food was really good, the prices are really good and it's really clean here and cozy. I recommend this place to all tourists!

Best Döner / durum/ kebab in town. The meat is nice, the portions are perfect, the bread and wrap is always toasted, the sauces are incredible. They always respect allergy wishes like no milk/ no cheese and are super friendly. really love to eat here, tastes like the old school kebab we all loved.

The inside of the place is very dark and dingy. Unfortunately, the restroom was also filthy; painting the doors shouldn't have been this difficult. The döner kebab was okay; I've had better ones.

Not sure where the high rating comes from. The shawarma was overly salty and too spicy. There was way too much of the wet, greasy, and not very tasty flatbread, barely any meat, and lots of vegetables. Overall, the flavor was disappointing — I’d rate it 2 out of 5.

The food is decent but the staff needs to learn some manners. Went there last night and tried to pay with four different cards but kept getting rejected because their card machine was broken. Instead of acknowledging their mistake they were being rude to us like we didn’t wanna pay our bill. In the end we ended up paying our bill with tikkie but there was no need for them to act so high and mighty when they were in the wrong

It's a place we went to based on the reviews during our trip to Amsterdam and we're glad we ate here. Brother Cafer and master Nazif are extremely polite tradesmen. They hosted us very well. We ate a kebab called Kapsalon and liked it very much. I definitely recommend you go. Prices are affordable compared to Amsterdam. I can say that the portion is twice the portions in Türkiye. 2 people can almost be fed with a Kapsalon.

I thought the food was very good. I had been there the day before yesterday after a long day of fasting. I had ordered the doner sandwich with fries menu and a free drink of your choice for about 10 euros. I thought it was really tasty and with those sauces on the table it made it even better and the service was good, the food arrived in about 7 minutes so it went pretty quickly and the employees were sweet and understanding with us because we were fasting. If I come back to Amsterdam (I'm from Belgium) I will definitely return.
