We were very well received. The food was delicious. We ordered a pasta dish with shrimp and salmon, plus a salad. 🥗 Everything was very fresh and tasty. I recommend it.

I love this kebab place, super tasty kapsalon. I don't even think the price is that high for Amsterdam, and you really do get value for money at this place. The staff is also super friendly. As long as you are friendly yourself, that is, because I have seen so often that other customers treat them so disrespectfully. They are usually super fast too! They really deserve more love.

This was a degrading experience. The crispness of the bread was comparable to that of a brick. The fries came in a portion that even a Third World country would turn its nose up at. Exceptionally dramatic.

Delicious kapsalon, but you should be called Onion King instead of Kebab King.

We ordered shawarma but received what was basically just fries with pieces of chicken and melted cheese on top. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing and not what we expected at all. On the positive side, they included a lovely Turkish dessert as a treat, which was a really nice gesture and honestly the highlight of the order.

Great, delicious food. I had guests from Poland (10 of us), and we came to sample a typical Dutch quick meal. We chose the mixed Kapsalons; they were perfect. Crispy, freshly baked fries, well-seasoned meat, fresh, crunchy vegetables, and a perfect balance of sauces. The price was appropriate for the city's location. I recommend it.

I recently dined at **Kebab King** at Albert Cuypstraat 50H in Amsterdam, and what a pleasant surprise! The restaurant recently underwent a new owner's takeover, and it definitely shows. Everything looks neat and tidy, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I chose a **falafel wrap** and my son went for the **spaghetti bolognese**. Both dishes were generously filled, perfectly seasoned, and clearly prepared with care. You really get value for your money here, something that's not something you can take for granted these days. The perfect finishing touch is the **friendly owner**. He makes you feel immediately welcome as a customer—almost like you're dining at home. That personal touch makes all the difference. In short: delicious food, generous portions, a pleasant atmosphere, and excellent service. **Definitely worth repeating and highly recommended!** 🌯🍝

When I said they are overpricing shwarma (cold ass meat shwarma) I got kicked out and was almost about to get physical with the shwarma guy. Again wouldt recommend to anyone skip this place if you can.

If I'd read the reviews, I would have skipped this place. The prices were way too high, but okay, I asked for a durum chicken and got half a veal chicken instead... if I'd been allergic to veal, I'd have food poisoning right now. They charge €3.50 for a can of cola... if it were Red Bull, I could understand it, but this was way too expensive. They tried to give me even less money back until I started counting the bill. If you say anything, they get aggressive. The food was cold the first and last time. This isn't a Turkish place anyway, but something else entirely.

We had a delicious meal, got a large Turkish pizza with plenty of meat. A very nice gentleman at the counter. Excellent!

I recently dined at Kebab King and had, without a doubt, the best falafel in Amsterdam. Perfectly crispy on the outside, wonderfully moist on the inside, and clearly freshly prepared. You can taste the care and craftsmanship behind the dishes. The restaurant recently got a new owner, and it's definitely noticeable. He's visibly improving the place and has significantly expanded the menu with many new dishes, while still maintaining the classics. What made the visit truly special was the service. The man behind the counter was incredibly friendly, took his time, and provided a warm welcome. A restaurant where passion, quality, and hospitality come together. Highly recommended, and a place I'll definitely return to.

We has the large lamb wrap. The lamb was marinated and cooked from raw. It was fresh. There was a lot of meat. Vegetables were nice and good variety. Tasty sauce. The guy working was friendly, attentive, and knew what he was doing. We had a great experience. The place itself is just ok. Outside tables are pleasant.

I live across the street and come here quite often, however this might have been my last time. It used to be slightly expensive but pretty good, fairly big portions and rich meals. Now they rebranded and kind of renovated the shop and with that they drastically decreased the size and quality of their meals. 12,50 for what I would barely call a kapsalon. Handfull of fries, a few bits of chicken and some cheese and a ton of garlic sauce. Thats it. Must have been an expensive renovation…

The food is good, but if you dont pay attention they will charge you more than the menu says, preting on unsuspecting tourists. So, food quality, 4, honourability, 1.

Very mediocre food and unreasonably expensive. I was there on a Class Trip and I was very hungry. When the man who barely understood what we wanted to order brought us our food and we took our First bite, me and my friend were extremely dissapointed.

Never again, ordered online, you arrive there, you have to wait, lamb hair salon paid, at home you see that your chickens are not lamb, well-done fries from old oil, just gross.

He added 5 cents to the dish and when I questioned him about the price difference, he acted insulted because "it's just 5 cents", as if I was wrong. Then update your menu! He also added €1 charge because we used Visa. Total scammer. Wish I read the reviews before coming here.

Prices are not accurate and no notes concerning credit card charge. Likely I spoke english. Maybe wouldn't have happened if I spoke dutch.

Tuve la pita de falafel con hummus, salió pareciendo una pita por encima de la media, pero ni siquiera puedo explicar lo buena que estaba. 10 / 10 . Perfectamente fresco, texturas increíbles y el equilibrio de sabores era maravilloso. Honestamente, no hay nada que pudiera haberlo hecho mejor. I've been suffering for a year from the bright neon lighting that shines straight into my bedroom. Not just me, but other residents in the street. I just came by twice to ask if the awning could be taken down, against the light. 10 minutes later you raise it again. Are you bullying me? The first time you gave me a hand-box when saying goodbye. Now it's turning into a taunt!

We went here one night for dessert, as they had various middle eastern sweets like baklava. It was so good, we went back for dinner the next night. This is a basic storefront place with counter service. Nothing fancy but good. Very friendly staff. I'd be happy to go back if I am ever in Amsterdam again.

I'm a Brit on holiday and this Keebab Kingdom demonstrated it's vast superiority to it's cousins in our green and humble land. From the premium chinaware to the bottomless and delectable chili and garlic sauces straight from the bottle, the kebabs truly were King.

I posted the same on a recent UberEats review. This is my local kebab house I frequent because it's got great, clean food at a good price. Other kebab places in the area tend to be greasy. I especially like to go in and sit down for an adana kebab plate when I have the time. Also good coffee. If they're open and you're out for a late bite, it's worth the extra walk.
