Doppio Espresso Amsterdam Zuidas in Zuidas

I tried the Doppio Sandwich and it was very tasty. The environment is nice and staff are friendly.

A great lunch place in Amsterdam! Not in the middle of the busy city, but in the southern part, where it’s quite chill. Especially during good weather, sitting on the terrace is so enjoyable. Starting with the coffee, the americano was light and earthy, great to have with a croissant. The cappuccino was also smooth and rich in flavour. Regarding the food, we tried the focaccia Club Doppio, which was very tasty! For dessert, we really wanted to try something sweet with cinnamon, and by recommendation of our waiter, we got the cinnamon bun (they also had a cake-wise pastry, I think). That sweet was heavenly! It was warmed up, and in combination with the cream on top and inside, it was divine! So, thank you to the guy serving us that day (forgot his name, but he was wearing a shirt of rage against the machine after his shift!); great vibes!

Lovely cosy café. It smells like freshly baked pastries and coffee. Lovely warm brown tones of the decor and furniture and we had a lovely waiter who helped us with everything and he was super nice and helpful.

Sadly, baristas aren’t able to take new orders while other orders exist. Come only if the place is empty.

Had breakfast / brunch here 2 days running while visiting Amsterdam. Returned for the second day as the food and service were so good. Excellent coffee, delicious food and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

The people that work here are really nice. But just had a weird experience with one of the baristas. The iced latte tasted weirdly bad so I asked if I could get something else. And he put a straw in my drink without asking, pulled out a little of the liquid, and took a taste of it. Mind you I've drank some of it so that's just unhygienic and odd to do. Then he told me that's just how it tastes and if I want a new drink he's going to have to charge me for it. Doppio is a chain and swapping out a drink isn't so dramatic especially if you're coffee tastes bad to the customer. But if that's their policy, so be it, I'm out an extra 6euros and won't be coming back, there's better local shops anyways.

Nice cafe for a relaxing breakfast before we left for the airport. Friendly staff and they could serve the items from the lunch menu at 9am. The cortado was really good. Chicken focaccia was also delicious. Would come again.

Been here frequency getting coffee or lunch for years, until the owner pissed me off. Very disappointed in the GREED of him for a policy (that is not even communicated in a sign or something) that he wants customers to order an item every two hours! The atmosphere is perfect for working remotely, but getting a coffee isn't enough to stay after two hours. It's always empty inside with booths and available chairs, so why have all these nice seats if you want to charge your customers non stop to sit down? Taking my business elsewhere.

I visit Doppio Espresso Amsterdam regularly, and it remains one of my favorite coffee spots in the city. The espresso is exactly as it should be: strong, full of flavor, and perfectly brewed. You can taste that they really pay attention to quality. What also strikes me is that the staff is always friendly and quick, even when it is busy. The atmosphere is relaxed, and it is a nice place to work for a bit or just quietly enjoy a coffee. Additionally, the sandwiches and pastries are really good too. The combination of good coffee with something to eat, in particular, makes it a place where you can easily sit for a bit longer. In short: if you are in Amsterdam and are in the mood for a good espresso and a relaxed coffee spot, you are basically always in the right place here. Highly recommended. ☕

A fantastic coffee spot in Amsterdam Zuidas that truly exceeded my expectations in both atmosphere and service quality. The outdoor seating area is especially enjoyable and perfect for a short break during a busy workday. The coffee is excellent, well-balanced and full of flavor. The snacks we tried were fresh and delicious as well. The staff is friendly, attentive, and quick, which makes the whole experience even better. The location is also very convenient, especially for people working in the Zuidas area. I often stop by during the week to take a breath and on weekends I enjoy coming here for breakfast with my family. I highly recommend it...

Doppio Espresso Amsterdam Zuidas is literally in the heart of Zuidas and is easily accessible by public transport, or you can park your bike just a stone's throw away. The service is super friendly and you are served quickly. The fresh coffee is top quality and tastes delicious! Highly recommended for anyone looking for tasty coffee with fresh sandwiches or a pastry on the side.

The Doppio Delicious is my favorite: farmhouse bread topped with eggplant spread, fresh lettuce, bell pepper, and all sorts of healthy options, but what makes it surprisingly delicious are the wasabi nuts! The Doppio cappuccino is also highly recommended: espresso with milk foam, instead of milk with espresso 😊. Plus, the host and staff make you feel truly welcome; hospitality is paramount!

The chicken was absolutely delicious, the coffee fantastic and there is a huge range of cakes and desserts. A perfect place to meet up, have a nice lunch and a drink. Oh lord — a university with a campus this large should have a better coffee place. We went to Doppio because we desperately needed coffee and for obvious reasons did not trust the in-uni coffee machines. But this was barely any better. The coffee was burned too hot, the milk foamed too cold, the cookies were packed in plastic and the pizzas (yes don’t ask) were microwaved. If I’m to be fed food that taste like it’s being cooked by a student who hadn’t quite gotten used to being responsible for their own dinner or ingredient quality — I would at least like to pay less. The interior is half way between a gas station, a döner kebab place, and a coffee bar from the 80-ies. The only redeeming quality was the very kind server, who might not know how to make a good coffee but made up for all of the drabness with a sense of humor and charm And they do get bonus points for the freezer solely dedicated to “space rocket ice creams” a childhood fav for many dutchies

Im visiting often a friend at Amsterdam, and when im doing remote work, its my favourite place to be, the service is great, the food is great (tried breakfast and lunch), it’s clean and people are smiling, very polite !

Clean and Friendly service, lot of different seating arrangements for indoor and outdoor seating. Electric outlets as well for charging laptops/phones too. Good variety of iced/hot drinks.

Although the sphere was nice, the menu was disappointing. There were no soups, not the smoothie and not the tea (fresh mint. I received a Moroccan mint black tea. This wasn’t mentioned) we wanted to order. So we stick with an Oranje juice and a normal tea instead…

Deze plek is geweldig om af te spreken vanwege de goede en niet overprijsde eten en drinken. Koffie heeft ooit een prijs gewonnen, is italiaans, erg goed en de wijnen ook. Broodjes en tosti ook erg smakelijk en niet overpriisd en zeer gastvrij en vriendelijk

Tasty lunch menu with a selection of Italian piadina, sandwiches, salads, and more. The tuna melt is one of my favourites. Try their coffee ☕️excellent. Modern interior design and friendly staff. It is an ideal place for a casual and quick lunch.

An ideal coffee spot in the Zuid area. Good quality of drinks and some nice food options. The standout is the caprese which is as delicious as the Italian classic should be. Cool area inside for kids or the big kids in us to have a little swing reminiscence. There's also a meeting room for some collaboration while enjoying a few hot or cold beverages.

I ordered a homemade cinnamon roll at Doppio as dessert and was completely blown away. It was the best cinnamon roll I've ever had! Truly amazing and highly recommend :) The staff was also really nice and the location is very comfortable (lunch was great too!)

Veel koffietentjes uitgeprobeerd op de Zuidas en Doppio steekt er met kop en schouders boven uit. De koffie is overheerlijke, perfect van smaak en het eten is ook top! Verder is het personeel super vriendelijk en de eigenaar overigens ook. Hij maakt altijd een gezellige praatje en is erg geïnteresseerd naar je mening over het eten/drinken. Het is een cozy spot waar je even tot rust kan komen. Een echte aanrader!

The food and coffee are top-notch. I tried the vegetable omelette and the oat-milk cappuccino; they were both delicious as well as the freshly squeezed orange juice. The place is pretty large, full of light and clean. The waiters are super friendly and attentive. I accidentally forgot my wallet in the toilet, and they kindly dropped it off at my place just a few minutes later (thanks again!). The location (Zuidas) is extremely convenient, and the place is great for working, studying and/or meeting friends. I will definitely be back!

Even lekker zitten tijdens de lunch, ipv naar de 2.20 euro broodjesgaarkeuken verderop (waar je ook 7 eppies uitgeeft voor twee kleffe broodjes en een lauwe jus). Mooi menuutje: een panini, verse jus en een koffie voor 11 euro. Alles lekker, bediening beetje onhandig, maar wel erg aardig. Deze tent heeft potentie, tandje erbij tav personeel en kaart (waarom geen mooie pasta?) en dit wordt een topper.

Non me l'aspettavo: espresso fatto come Dio comanda (ho specificato che sono Italiano e che non prendo quello che prendono di solito gli stranieri), pure bicchierino d'acqua prima! Una chicca! Il prezzo ovviamente non è quello italiano.

Lokatie is mooi, al zit je beetje dicht op elkaar. Lunch besteld. Beetje raar dat het broodje eerder komt dan de cappuccino. Broodje was lekker en werd mooi geserveerd. Cappuccino ziet er mooi uit, mag wat warmer. Cannoli erg lekker! Goede prijzen ook. Vriendelijke bediening.
