Tazzina in Jordaan

Located in a lovely corner. You can definitely enjoy a book here. I also like the old interiors and the high windows. I just wish the staff were a little less pushy about getting you to order the moment you finish your food or drink. The coffee is mid.

Really lovely cafe with a nice atmosphere and view of the canal. The service is also fast and the latte was very smooth and frothy. There may not always be outdoor seating available as there is limited seating but there was usually space inside. It may also not be accessible for people who do not want to use stairs for the toilet as there is a winding staircase at the back to access the toilet.

This is one of my favorite spots in Amsterdam. It's beautifully decorated with the atmospheric Madonna looking down on you, and the coffee and food are delicious. The music they play is somewhat unrelaxing, often quite loud pop or rap. If you absolutely must play music, you can find plenty of playlists on YouTube and Spotify with relaxing 1930s jazz or classical music, or something similar, which better suit the atmosphere of the café. Right now, it's always a bit too crowded and loud for comfortable reading and relaxation. I'd also advise the waitresses to be a bit more attentive to who's waiting, because unless you order upon arrival, you'll likely be waiting a long time before one of them notices you. Otherwise, it's a truly top-notch café!

Nice place to sit. But sandwiches are of mediocre quality, low quality ingredients. Regular mozzarella instead of buffalo.

Coffee was average but apple pie was terrible as confirmed by many reviews previously - it was cold inside like it had just been taken out of a freezer. Stick with Winkel 43. Also the service here is also terrible - long wait time for food, wrong orders and no apologies. I do not recommend coming here.

Very nice tent on the edge of the Jordaan. With a cozy Jordanian atmosphere. Delicious coffee that young and old can enjoy.

Apple pie yemek için gittik, siparişi 30 dk sonra almaya geldiler. ApplePie korkunçtu, içi kötü bir benzetme ile çamur gibiydi. Birimiz Lungo, digerimiz White Chocolate Milkshake içtik. Lungo, double shot espressoydu resmen. Kötü bir deneyimdi.

As if mother asks for an Italian sandwich and the children carry out the request: Bread 0/5, ingredients 0/5, taste 0/5. Truly the worst sandwiches I have ever had in Amsterdam.

I ordered for two apple pies, waiter came with one cake instead, after asking for the second pie we had to wait 10min , when I took the first bite , I had to realize the pie was partly cold (frozen), I assume it was from the refrigerator and the put It in the microwave before. That’s an experience I wish for no one, I would for sure avoid this cafe the next time here in Amsterdam.

Excellent black coffee. I just ordered a "gewone koffie", and it was delicious. A beautiful morning light comes in from the windows on two sides of the building, facing the canal; a bunch of locals are gathering, creating a friendly atmosphere. Nice Amsterdam experience. It can get busy though, and there's only one waitress.

The location is fantastic, with a sunny terrace and a nice view of the canal. Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. We were four people, but it turned out not to be allowed to move tables or chairs, not even to add an extra chair, which would not have been inconvenient for anyone. Instead, we had to sit divided at two tables, which were slightly apart with a parasol between them. Moreover, we were treated unfriendly, despite our concern when a waitress hurt her ankle in front of our eyes. The wait was long, and one of the sandwiches was topped with a cold, tough eggplant that was clearly too old. To make matters worse, we heard the waitress tell her colleague that she didn't feel like making fresh orange juice for us, because we ended up moving a chair beyond the parasol so we could sit together. The food and drinks are average, not special.

It was forbidden to move chairs or tables. There were four of us and we weren't allowed to sit together, but in the end we did, because... well, what else could we do? Luckily we were in a sunny spot, otherwise it wouldn't be a vein.

Good coffee, cakes were OK, staff was OK, there were a lot of dirty dishes, a good cleaning and tidying up could do no harm here.

I have cycled past it before, but decided to have a coffee with friends yesterday. Delicious coffee and sandwiches with nice service. That's hard to find these days. Fien served us, a funny girl who spoke to us nicely and wanted to have a nice chat.

Gezellig met vriendin geluncht vandaag. De koffietjes waren heerlijk! Mijn broodje gegrilde groente zag er al niet zo erg mooi uit. Alsof er een oud schaaltje opgewarmde groenten dat vorige week was gebakken, met ketchup op een bolletje was gekwakt. Geen liefde. Het smaakte zo slecht, zure aardappel zat er ook bij. Dit kun je niet verkopen voor 9 euro? Het meisje haalde haar schouders op en zei dat niemand het lekker vond. Nou had me gewaarschuwd.. het werd niet van de rekening gehaald en er werd niks aangeboden….

Too bad about the construction work in the area.

Cute place, nice located with a sunny terrace. The coffee and breakfast is good, but the service is. It took about 1 hour to get a coffee although the place wasn’t full.

The food and coffee was very good and tasty. Only the service was disappointing. The girl who served us was arrogant and arrogant. We very much felt like we were being labeled as 'the tourists', in this case negatively. We had to order at the bar ourselves, while other people, namely Dutch people, simply answered them at the table. When I raised my hand to come and answer at the table, even as she passed by our table, she shouted for me to come and order at the counter. Nevertheless, a cozy place, it's a pity that the service was so sad...

December 2023, Remains a lovely place situated near the canal and bridge. They serve a real nice cup of coffee. Nice and swift service and the interieur is wonderful. Don't forget to look at the stairs in the back of the store.

If you want a cosy little cafe nestled on the corner of the street, come to Tazzina. Enjoy a coffee and a toastie whilst watching the world go by. Lovely staff, too, and seems to be really popular with local people, which is always the best sign!

Lovely cozy place to sit for a morning coffee. I don’t recommend to eat there though… we had a bland vegetarian sandwich… alot to improve in terms of flavour and the bread.

Tazzina sits on a great corner spot (think miniature version of the flat iron building)overlooking the Oranjebrug bridge. Great for watching the people and boats go by on a nice day. It is tiny, but they make great use of the space. Lots of window seating, and outdoor seating, which is where you want to be on a nice day. Gets early sun. I just had an Americano, but they do have Italian lunch that looked tasty. My review is just based on the coffee which was good and they have great service. That’s all for now.

BEST cafe latte i have had in Amsterdam (out of like 10-15 i tried) for actually the cheapest price. Its a cute little cafe with very friendly people working there. Top place for good coffee for a reasonable price

[English below] Ik ben dol op dit cafeetje vanwege de leuke sfeer en de heerlijke koffie, en natuurlijk het Maria-beeld dat op je neerkijkt. Ik kom er dan ook vaak om een krant te lezen of gewoon om te ontspannen. Wel zou ik willen suggereren dat jullie de muziek wat zachter zetten en wellicht een iets rustigere, koffiehuisachtige soort liedjes opzetten, bijvoorbeeld vintage liefdesliedjes of rustige, klassieke muziek. Er staat nu namelijk vaak een soort Top 40 op die het moeilijk maakt je te ontspannen, je op je bezigheid te concentreren of je gesprekspartner te verstaan. I love this little cafe because of the good atmosphere and delicious coffee, and of course the statue of Mary looking down on you from the kitchen. I frequently visit this place to read the papers or just relax. I would, however, like to suggest that you turn down the music a bit and maybe put on more peaceful coffeeshop-ish music, such as vintage love songs or classical music. Right now there's often (extremely) loud pop songs playing that make it very difficult to relax, concentrate on whatever you're doing, or hear your conversation partner.

Nice small bar close to the center of Amsterdam. Nothing fancy, but good coffee and nice staff.

This cute little cafe is on a great corner spot along an old canal with a pretty flower filled bridge directly opposite, really great for people watching. Coffee, teas etc and a couple of cake/biscuit options. The toilet is up a stee circular staircase which will be beyond many guests abilities! Service is inconsistent and disorganized. Don’t expect an acknowledgement of you waiting im and the server is making a coffee, there is no attempt to do two things at once, ever. Quite often orders are just forgotten (though this will be denied if you go in to enquire about the delay). I go back because it’s such a sweet spot, but be prepared.

Nice day, nice little Cafe! Server was extremely busy but was still very cheerful. I bought a sparkling lemon tea and was recommended the apple pie with cream. The apple pie did not disappoint at all. Wasn't there for long. Only stopped for a snack and to rest my legs but was a positive experience 👍

i very very very rarely leave reviews. only when i feel compelled to do and and usually when i recieve a good experience. This place on the other hand, meh. the service was awful i waited to pay at the cash desk for roughly 5 mins whilst 3 members of staff continued to chat, make coffees and turn around multiple times without so much as awknowledgement that i was there and that they would take my payment when they was finished. i wouldnt return purely on that basis.

Ein netter Ort, um sich bei einem leckeren Café aufzuwärmen und auch ein mit Liebe zubereitetes Baguette zu genießen. Nicht touristisch ehr authentisch! Sehr angenehm, gerne wieder!
