Nice place to have a coffee or something to eat (which we didn't do). Coffee was delicious, the atmosphere was great and the service was very friendly. Recommended!

I really didn’t want to write this review but the service at this place put us over the edge today. We are, well were, regular customers here. First time we came, we didn’t know it’s order inside. The staff passed us a few times, with us waving them over but did they tell us please order inside? No. I saw that happening to other people too, where we would then tell them to go order inside as they were also ignored by the staff. Today, they forgot our order. We were sitting in front of the bar, so not sure how that was possible. When we asked where our order is after 15 min the staff literally smirked in our face, turned around and asked what we ordered as if we were making some illogical request. Things happen, people forget. But if you make a mistake the least you can do is apologize and not laugh in peoples faces. Not only that, but the order we got wasn’t what we ordered (and paid) and the chai latte tasted watered down. We kept coming back after bad experiences here, but this was unfortunately the last. There are many many nice coffee places in this street, so take your business there if you want nicer service.

Normally, reasonable to good coffee is served here, but the lady who was behind the espresso machine last Sunday did not make much of it. Lukewarm cappuccinos with very large air bubbles in the already little milk foam. This resulted in the cups including the foot bath being placed on the table. Pity.

This place used to be pretty good but they have changed the recipes. Now serving different bread for the sandwiches which is not good.

Delicious food and excellent service. The Dutch Apple Pie with whipped cream was freshly baked and particularly delicious. Great atmosphere on a quiet residential street and close to the park. Highly recommended!

Nice interior. Coffee was a disappointment. Customer service frosty. Tune melt Toastie wasn’t bad though. Better quality coffee to be had elsewhere.

I go to Amsterdam about 2/3 times a year and before I would go to le pain for brunch, until I found this place! The prices are good, food is lovely and they even do a halal chicken sandwich that is very nice. The prices are about 10 euros cheaper than le pain but the quality of food is just as good. This is now my go to brunch place.

Service has been declining. Yesterday after 20 min cycle to get there the person behind the bar declined to take a sandwich order as the my “were understaffed “ , whilst staff was as usual and other customers were getting their food prepared

I liked the taste of the Acai bowl granola and the coffee was pretty decent. However, I was shocked by the plate I was served with - it had 3 major chips. Will not attach a photo because it has the leftovers of the food, but looked ugly.

January 2024 A lovely place. A lot of coffee places to choose from these days. But here you actually can sit down in a nice atmosphere. And some chairs sit so comfortable. Love it. Only have a small menu outside their coffee but it is perfect. Good start of your day.

Nice atmosphere to have a bite to eat and relax or grab some coffee and do some work. Good vibes. One of the best tuna salad sandwiches I've ever eaten.

Once but never again. Bought 2 slices of cake and took it home. First I found a hair in the cheesecake and then also in the apple pie, to my horror. Hygiene is clearly not in order here. 1 star.

Eten is heerlijk, sfeer is verder ook prima wel zit je hutje mutje op elkaar maargoed. Service was vrij sloompjes maar waren verder lieve dames. Geef 3 sterren ivm de herrie die ze maken met de kopjes, moeilijk om even gezellig en tot rust te komen als er om de haverklap iets valt, maar dat is mijn mening en wellicht maar een momentopname.

The treatment of the staff is distant. You have to order at the bar and they take a long time to clean the tables, so they are full of pigeons biting the dishes.

Great location and excellent food. The omelette sandwich with pesto was an amazing combination. Super crunchy bread and fresh greens with each bite. The blue acai bowl was super fresh as well. I normally am not a huge fan of acai bowls but this was delicious.

We found this spot in our neighborhood and visited several times for coffees, latte and toasties. Because the place for us to start our day. The cheese toastie was great and every day, our coffee orders were superb. Service was always very fast and very very friendly. Nice to find a smile to start your day.

I would love to see the prices before buying, but they are not actually expensive so 👌🏼. The atmosphere is good and the food tasty.

We hebben hier afgelopen weekend een heerlijke brunch gehad. Een mix van zoete en hartige lekkernijen, de 1 nog smaakvoller dan de ander. Teveel om daar allemaal op te eten, we kregen papieren zakjes om alles in te doen en mee te nemen naar huis. Taarten worden ter plekke gemaakt en afgebakken in de oven zagen we, alles lekker vers gemaakt dus

Das eher rustikal gehaltene Café bietet eine entspannte und ruhige Atmosphäre mit super nettem Personal und exzellentem Service. Die Getränke und das Essen kamen echt zügig und es hat fabelhaft geschmeckt. 10/10 recommend

Very nice place to have breakfast and some tea or coffee. Loved the ambiance it was very cozy. Everyone was really nice and everything very clean. Loved it!

It was an average experience. Went to get a coffee beans but the bags looked like they have been there for quite a while and it was not possible to choose beans for the coffee we ordered so was not able to taste the unique flavours. Having some v60 or french press coffees would have been nicer. The cakes didn’t looked very appealing with plastic around them and my friend tea pot looked like it was not washed properly and had soap still in it so she was not able to drink it. Having the coffee and tea in porcelain rather than glass will be even better as well.

We had an Açai smoothie bowl, which was a generous portion, an omelette sandwich which was very delicious, a Jungle Juice and a made to spec juice of carrots, ginger and apples. All of this was really lovely and extremely good value for money. We sat outside very comfortably and watched the world go by. Lovely staff too!

Chill coffee place ideal for working or for a meeting. Breakfast bowls and sandwiches are good. Coffee is decent and delicious homemade apple pie.

Al jaren begin ik hier mijn dag met de lekkerst denkbare koffie, mijn vertrouwde krantje en een gezonde portie Amsterdamse humor van het onvolprezen personeel!

Vandaag geluncht lekker koffie, en goed service

Op het terras koffie gedronken. Ik dacht dat het zelfbediening was. Na 10 minuten naar binnen gegaan en aan de bar koffie besteld. Er moest wel meteen afgerekend worden. Volkomen onsfeervol dus. Uitzicht vanaf het terras is ook niet denderend. De koffie is een zeer grote sloot koffie met een koekje erbij. Oogt wel mooi. We bestelden ook een verse appelsap. Die was heel lekker.

Heerlijke koffie gedronken en kon lekker broodje gegeten.
