Doppio Groningen in Centrum

Erg donker binnen en de koffie was duur en niet lekker. Wel een leuke speelhoek voor kinderen! Voor lekkere koffie zou ik ergens ander naar toe gaan!

The location and Ambiente was great! They have many many tables inside and one can just go for a coffee or to study/work while drinking some nice coffee. I was not such a big fan of their lemonades as they are just basic lemonade with some added syrup. Their avocado toast is pretty good though (even though it doesn’t have too much avocado on it)! Overall I would definitely go back though as it is a nice place to chat over a coffee or do some work!

Place looks really suitable for students to study or when you need to like finish a Task while having coffee and desert . Atmosphere is Good , it is really a big place with plenty of tables , coffee was good and the brownie is so tasty and Yummy 😋staff is nice …. But honestly service was a bit slow 🫣

Nice atmosphere and child-friendly place

I asked for a cup of coffee, and to be able to eat my own sandwich on the tarras. More then enough room outside to do so, the answer was no you are not allowed to eat you sandwich. Only to drink the Coffee.

We didn't eat, but the service was still great👍👍👍👍We had enough of a cappuccino.

In the morning you often have to wait a long time outside before the staff notices you. This morning after waiting 10 minutes we left again without coffee. Normally coffee is reasonable and service is certainly friendly. But it can all be done a little faster

Coffee shop in a good spot opposite the Aa Church. Otherwise not very distinctive. But you can get a good cup of coffee there. Very pricey! There is a terrace in the sun.

It was fun because there is a nice slide for small children. But hygiene leaves much to be desired. The changing mat was completely covered in poop and smelled terrible, the floor is really so dirty, our child's feet were so black and dirty... that doesn't even happen at home when they walk barefoot through the mud! Finally, there were a lot of food scraps everywhere on the tables and floor, such as half-gnawed croissants, which in my opinion should be neatly cleared away for the next customer.

Sunday, August 18, 2024. Given another chance. On the terrace with an iced coffee. Iced coffee has an aftertaste. Not okay. Still 3 stars. It remains a somewhat dingy place, not clean, the terrace is not full but is not cleared. Tables not clean. Not clean inside again. Doesn't feel good. Case is too big. Maintenance is too much when it's busy. Sunday, July 30, 2023: No success this time. Cake kept falling apart, everything is covered in it. No napkins and too small saucer. Toasti came much later so coffee was already cold. From 5 stars now back to 3 stars. Earlier this year: Everything was delicious and the service was very friendly. We will definitely come here again. Also a lovely outdoor terrace.

Don't drink anything here except maybe tea. The rest is water with whipped cream. See photo

Enjoyed sitting outside today, enjoying a drink and then a delicious Italian grilled cheese sandwich.

Price-quality is not entirely in line, doppio chicken that only has 3 small, nasty slices of chicken on it and you can put down 12 for it. Furthermore, a nice place to sit for a cup of coffee or something like that.

Very tasty lunch, very worthwhile, friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere

Let´s start with: I am a guest who comes with a kid. The kids corner is mostly dirty (even in the morning), toys are not complete/functioning, kids kitchen doesnt have any equipment, all pencils are broken,… I also find the location (by men toilet, dark, with tiles) not handy. Year ago it was definitelly much better. To charge 2,5 eur for a glass of warm milk is ridiculous. Luckily for them - there is no competition in the city. But: Staff is everytime really nice.

In terms of coffee quality, it is disappointing. A nice location to people watch from the terrace. Nicely centrally located in the center of the city.

A bit sad to sit there chatting while the sound sounds way too hollow. A space designed for "efficiency" and appearance not for comfort and coziness.

Tiramisu cake and coffee here were great! Friendly and responsive staff.. there is also a nice kids play area for those exhausted parents who want to have one cup of coffee in peace 😊

I ordered a lemon merengue pie and a warm drink (espresso Latte karamel) both with whipcream. Tasty 😊 to my likings. Quick and kind service. Doppio itself: good reachable location, open area, dividend in height and with interior pieces. Cosy set up. Good for chilling/ meeting working. Worth checking out.

The food was okay, but not enough to get excited about. The cleanliness at the table and in the toilet could be better.

It is very nice that barista-trained staff is employed as an extra service. Really great, gives an extra dimension.

Perhaps the only downside was that I was addressed in English.

Good coffee and plant-based milks available. Other than that, almost zero food options for vegans: this is disappointing for how big this location is, and compared to the competition out there.

I didn’t like the quality of cappuccinos we had, also the service was strange and specifically the self-order kiosk was confusing, as it was for togo option only. My feedback about my experience was not welcomed by their employee. Wasn’t my best experience knowing the competitive area in a small city like Groningen with lots of other options.

In een informele sfeer genoten van een van de vele soorten koffie met natuurlijk een carrotcake gebakje.

Het eten was erg lekker en de service snel en ze hadden goede kennis van het menu en de gerechten/allergieën

Fijne plek voor koffie, ontbijt of lunch. Ook erg leuk met kleine kinderen want er is een mooie ruime plek om te spelen.

Die Mitarbeiter verfügen leider über keine Deutschkenntnisse. Sehr bedröppelnd! Einen Besuch war es trotz der Wartezeiten wert.

Makkelijk dat je aan tafel via de app kan bestellen. Wordt daarna vrij snel bij je gebracht.

Ein wirklich guter Kaffee. Die verstehen ihr Handwerk. Auch das Essen sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. Der Preis ist viel nicht günstig, aber absolut preiswert 👍🏼

Great place for heaving breakfast! Open around 08.00 in the morning. A lot of thing to use from for your breakfast. Especially the Yoghurt with cereals is great!

I go there frequently! I take everybody I know with me. Their coffee is good and their desserts/cake even better. Also the staff are very nice and helpful always. I would definitely suggest going. I always order a late macchiato and a new York style cheese cake, very delicious ☺️

Ongedwongen met online bestellen of vriendelijke persoonlijke bestelling. Erg prettige en ruime plek in het centrum van Groningen, waar de fiets midden voor de deur geparkeerd kan worden. Zeer ruim koffie & thee assortiment, ook haver -, soja-, en kokosmelk. Prima plek om te werken of met kinderen te bezoeken.
