Delicious lemonades at this lovely cafe. The service was fast and definitely friendly.

Best latte macchiato caramel I've ever had, perfect balance of temperature and taste

Ordered a carpaccio sandwich that came without any charm. The meat was most likely old, and tasteless, it was also not looking fresh. Brownish and it definitely didn’t taste like a fresh good carpaccio. I told the staff and she didn’t seem to care much. Acted like it was normal. Also, it takes very long until they come to your table.

Well, as new customers, even though it's no longer busy on a Saturday afternoon, despite 10 staff, no order has been taken after 20 minutes. A big fail.

Beautiful location with a terrace right outside. Fast and good service from the staff. The club sandwich, fresh juice, and cappuccino were delicious. I'll definitely be back!

I have to say that the quality of the Matchs Latte was very good, super lekker🫰 but the cappuccino came cold, and the children's toast was not a success with the child, for an adult it is very good. It is full of people and that is positive since it is good, but they should improve the coordination of the service. They came several times because they did not write down the order correctly. The bathrooms are very nice and clean.

I had a club sandwich and a hot chocolate. It was tasty, and the interior, the atmosphere and the servers were all nice.

A lovely terrace at the intersection of Westerbinnensingel and Astraat in Groningen. As you step inside, you're greeted by the delicious aroma of a bakery. The pastries complete the ambiance. Freshly baked with delicious coffee and cappuccino. Highly recommended!

A really nice cafe in Groningen, the staff were incredibly friendly and I had a really good experience here today, definitely recommended.

They were unable to serve food at lunch time because they had to "get it together first" (their words) and only served coffee and cake. They wouldn't even serve the breakfast package even though it only required serving. We were told to come back in half an hour. Such strange behaviour during opening hours.

Just walked in this afternoon because we felt like coffee. The latte with caramel was really mega delicious! And the service really perfect with a big smile everyone was helped, such staff is worth gold!

Unfortunately, my experience at the Barista Café in the center of Groningen was disappointing. I appreciated the possibility of ordering and paying directly via the QR code at the outside table, a convenient system that avoids unnecessary waiting at the cash register. It's a shame, however, that the service was not up to par: I had simply ordered two cappuccinos, but after 35 minutes they still hadn't arrived. I had to ask the staff what had happened to them. The service was slow and not very attentive, with very superficial staff. It's a shame, because the location is nice. I don't recommend it and I don't think I'll go back.

We had a nice Sunday noon coffee. The apple tart was amazing. Loved it

The strawberry matcha is horrendous. It came as a very pale green. No matcha flavour at all.

Coffee was perfect, I have tried the flat white and really loved it, tea was also good, reasonable prices, nice staff with a dutch vibe. 10/10

It was super fun and definitely affordable for what you got, the people who work there are also really super sweet and even if you are a child you can just go there with your friends/dinner and I speak from experience as a child

Coffees are amazing and reasonably priced! Table service is very slow, you might have to go order yourself, but waiters are friendly. Also, the place needs some working ventilation (its steamy inside) but otherwise nice atmosphere.

Very nice place, very hip, sit here to be seen, ordered Australian white is served in a small cup for the price, ate something with salmon downright disappointing, service was good. There is a lot of noise in the store, but the store is spacious. I was here for the last time

After asking twice, we weren't served, so we just left. And we asked really politely. On to Doppio! Friendly service (immediately) and delicious coffee.

Just before they closed, I managed to snag two apple pies from Iris Annie & Annabel! What incredibly sweet girls who still managed to do this, because you can get the most delicious homemade apple pie here!

We were there as a family with 2 kids (16 and 5). We had drinks and nachos. Everything was very tasty 😋

Delicious food and great coffee

The food was delicious, and so were the pastries! The atmosphere was nice and calm, but it took ages to get our things. We enjoyed it for a short time, and it wasn't really worth the wait, but when it's a bit quieter, it works out better, and the chocolate pastries are absolutely delicious!

We're big fans of the barista cafe in Emmen, but this one, no... After 20 minutes, we had to ask the counter ourselves if someone would come take our order. We had ordered fresh lemonade three times, among other things, but received very small lemonades (according to the voucher, kids lemonade), which was very strange. So we ordered a different drink a second time. It was made after fifteen minutes, and then we watched it sit on the counter for at least 10 minutes. Then we went to the counter to cancel it because we had finished eating, but then she suddenly noticed that our drinks were "already" ready. We told them we didn't like the service. We were told we would get a discount on the drinks... but that didn't happen. When we paid, they still asked if everything was to our liking... well, no. The food was delicious, but the service was terrible.

We had a drink here late in the afternoon. It took a long time to get served, and even though it was half an hour before closing, we waited more than 10 minutes for two coffees. The previous guests' orders were still on our table, and they weren't removed until we got our drinks, even though there was space to put them away. The strange thing was that all the dirty dishes were left on the empty tables. Side note: we heard the ladies talking about a staff shortage. I understand the situation; it doesn't seem pleasant either, but I won't be back because of this experience. The coffee was delicious, though!

What a fun, trendy place! Good coffee, and also a delicious chai latte! I've been a few times now. The food was really good. Lovely, bright space with plenty of natural light and a modern interior.

Without a doubt, the best coffee I've had in Groningen! Their New York cheesecake is also amazing. The prices are a bit high, but absolutely worth it.

Nice, trendy coffee bar with enough comfortable seats. Delicious cake, delicious coffee and tasty lunch dishes. Nice central location in the city center. Too bad the windows are so foggy, from the outside it looks special (unattractive). Inside, however, it feels relaxed and trendy. And what you eat and drink is really delicious!

At Barista Café Groningen you will feel right at home. The smell of fresh coffee and the friendly baristas create a nice atmosphere where you will want to linger. The coffee specialties are top (the flat white is my favorite) and the homemade sweets are to die for. Perfect for working, relaxing or just having a nice chat. Definitely recommended!

The tastiest speculoos latte I've ever had!

Took more than an hour after sitting down before we finally had some food, even though our dishes were simple breakfast dishes... If you don't have enough personnel for the number of customers, then put out less tables, it ain't that difficult...

We waited for about an hour for the food. When it finally arrived my order was completely wrong and almost cold. The man who brought our order was very quick to blow me off when I pointed this out.

It's a nice place to sit. And the cappuccino tasted great. The pieces of cake also tasted good. But the pieces of cake were really very small. And I think almost €20 (€17) for 2 cappuccinos and 2 mini pieces of cake and a little whipped cream is quite expensive. A really nice thing. But there are so many great coffee shops in the city, so I don't think we'll be back anytime soon.

Takes forever to help you. Then we walked to the bar and asked if we could order something. We promised that someone would come to us, but after 10 minutes no one. Just went somewhere else, very unfortunate.

We had a coffee outside: nothing special.

Stopped for an espresso with croissant. Nice location and the products are of good quality. However, taking orders takes a long time and the serving can clearly still be improved: the espresso arrived 3-4 minutes after ordering (nice and fast!), the croissant that was ordered at the same time was only served after more than 20 minutes and two requests.

Family-friendly café with a small, cute play area and changing area and extra children's meals. Super delicious coffee and specialties. Really great cake too. You can also eat snacks for lunch here. Highly recommended!!!

The service is not very motivated. Products that had been prepared were served with much unnecessary delay: no one spontaneously responded to the bell indicating that the dish was ready to be served. We finally picked up our order ourselves after it had been ready for 10 minutes! The chef, we assumed she was the chef because she gave orders, was happily sitting at a table eating their own food and texting on her phone. The faces of the other staff members spoke volumes. You cannot expect motivation from your staff if you, as a manager, do not convey this yourself. Food itself was of good quality!

Insanely beautiful location, beautiful atmospheric building with gigantic windows at the nicest intersection in Groningen. Friendly help, nice host! Also very satisfied with the snacks and the coffee lives up to the name! 5/5!

We ordered two salads and was missing two ingredients, when we asked they said they do not have it unfortunately. They did not say anything in advanced and of course did not offer anything to replace it. We paid almost 40€ for a sad salad and a drink… not recommended

Beautiful café with a lot of space, and a terasse where you can enjoy the sun on the good days. Very cozy, a good place to enjoy some coffee with friends or to work alone while enjoying a drink. The food is tasty, well presented and arrives very quickly. I had a really nice experience.

We sat at a nice table. Atmosphere good, coffee and tea good. Club sandwich, pulled chicken wrap and carpaccio sandwich very good. But the service is really not good. There were a lot of staff, but no management. Our table was not removed, we took our order twice and walked away empty handed. We were told twice that we were done and the table could be empty. When it came to ordering drinks, we had difficulty getting attention from the staff. Shame

The 'coffee' was mainly whipped cream, including the outside of the glass. In the end I was only able to drink half of it with a spoon. Service staff strictly directs you inside if you want to pay, and the idea of ​​a mobile ATM is absolutely out of the question.

Here is a voucher for coffee and cake, used via the Social Deal app. The apple pie is especially recommended. Afterwards I also received a voucher for a free coffee for next time.

Unfortunately we were a little too late for the 'breakfast' menu, otherwise it was fine, friendly service. Not really distinctive from the other coffee spots in the city but good enough to come back again.

This place has potential but it needs a lot of work in the drink department and food. All the drinks taste the same, chai latte, London fog, you can’t tell the difference as there is no flavour in any. They don’t know how to make a proper coffee and they need to find a good barista to put in charge of drinks. The food is ok but they put so much sarricha mayo on my smashed avacado sandwich, that’s all you could taste ! The decor is great, the atmosphere is loud but cozy. Just need to find some people that know drinks and food:))

Many visitors work here with their laptop, otherwise they sit with a telephone in their hands. Very well occupied, nice space.

Had a cup of coffee and a pastry here with two people on a weekday. The atmosphere was okay, it was full. Because of the setup you were bothered a lot by the noise of others. The pastries and coffee were delicious, we had the blondie. Taking the order and delivering the food took a bit of time, but the taste and presentation made up for it. I also thought the price-quality ratio was very good. I will definitely come back.

This is a very nice cafe with lots of plants & just an overall good vibe. The seasonal winter moon latte was very nice and not too sweet. The (vegan) chocolate cake was really good as well and so rich!

Perfect for meeting a friend or have a romantic moment with your loved one. 1 call out: It's a bit too cold inside, especially close to the windows. I would recommend paying attention to this little detail and making the place warmer to make the experience 10/10! Ehm, moeilijk dit. Ja, het zit erg leuk. Alles is nieuw en het café heeft een leuke uitstraling. Mooie plek en het zit altijd vol als ik er ben. De koffie is prima. Het eten ook. Vandaag heb ik de scrambled eggs gehad. Het ziet er mooi uit, maar tijdens het eten is het een zooitje. Je weet op een gegeven moment niet meer wat je in je mond stopt. Het smaakt wel, maar misschien kan het simpeler. De bediening is niet altijd even strak is mijn ervaring. Een tweede ronde is niet altijd aangeboden of er gaat wel eens wat fout in de bestelling. Dat zijn misschien kinderziekten. Over het algemeen dikke prima.

Goede koffie (ook decaf!), heerlijke taartjes en vriendelijke meiden in de bediening. Aanrader!

Prima lunch met een heerlijke kop groene thee . Vriendelijk personeel! (Tip) Als je je klant een koekje bij een warme drank geeft , haal deze dan met een tang o.i.d uit de glazen pot . Niet met je handen .

Lekker eten en ziet er super uit. Helaas laat de bediening nog wel eens wat te wensen over. Al meerdere keren opgevallen helaas.
