Dos Pimientos in Hardenberg

The food was delicious, but it can't really be called a Mexican restaurant. The surprise menu had very little to do with Mexican cuisine. The wait between courses was long.

The atmosphere isn't particularly special, but it's clean. The service is friendly. The food was delicious (beef burrito). Generous portions.

For the first time Mexican food at Dos Pimientos. Chose the burrito with chicken, rice, sweet potato. How delicious this was! Delicious food. Friendly service. When we are in Hardenberg again, we will definitely eat here again!

The food is excellent. Even the tortilla chips are freshly made. Enjoyed it immensely. Open kitchen looked fantastic. The decoration could use some more Mexican nuances. I didn't immediately get the idea that I was with a Mexican.

Na een dag Pieterpad fietsen kwamen we aan in Harderberg. Ergens op een terras in de stralende zon, vroegen wij een echtpaar naast ons, of zij een tip hadden waar we konden eten. 'Dan moet je echt naar Dos Pimientos!' En we zijn zo blij dat we dat advies hebben opgevolgd. Het verrassingsmenu was echt zalig. Zoveel verschillende heerlijke gerechtjes op te delen, het was telkens weer een feestje. De bediening was meer dan vriendelijk en vertelden uitgebreid over de gerechtjes. We voelden ons echt hun gast en we hebben tot de laatste kruimel genoten van heerlijk eten en geweldige gastvrijheid.

Boy, it was a delicious meal. I had the lime chicken with Mexican fries and sauces. My son had enchilada which was also delicious. As well as dessert. What great food and very friendly staff. Let's go eat again soon. Suprdepuper.

Boxing Day, friendly welcome. Beautifully decorated with red and white stars on the ceiling. Nice music, Mexican. Dinner was surprising and tasty. Starter: crispy tacos with Jammie dips. Paprika soup 🤩 ceviche of sea bass etc. Again and again with a description of what we could taste 🥰 main course guinea fowl and ribeye beautifully presented. The dessert was also a picture with edible Christmas glitter and so many wonderful flavor combinations 🥰🙏🎄😘

Wat hebben wij genoten om hier te eten. Wij hadden de surprise menu gekozen. Het was zeker een verassing van smaken. Meloen met geitenkaas zou ik zelf niet kiezen maar wat was dit lekker. 3 voorgerechten en hoofdgerecht bestond ook uit paar gerechten. Ik vond echt alles lekker. Ik geef nooit een review maar deze kok verdient het. Ik heb echt genoten en iedere cent waard!

Echt niet normaal lekker. Samen met een maat van mij daar gegeten. Wij hadden 3 gangen menu chefs keuze. Echt alles was super lekker. Alles wat we kregen kwam uitleg bij. Het dessert (gefrituurde melk) wat is dat lekker zeg. Bediening zeer bekwaam en super vriendelijk. Bedankt en tot de volgende keer.

After visiting family at the campsite, we wanted to have a bite to eat to end the holiday. We chose the menu for 2 people and were very surprised. Haven't had such a good meal in a long time! Service is extremely friendly and hospitable. What a nice and beautiful thing. In short, recommended!!

Delicious food! We had the mixed menu with various starters, main courses and desserts. Because I am quite fussy with desserts, I asked if I could have a larger version of my favorite, this was no problem, very nice. The combination of watermelon with goat cheese, something I would normally not order, was included with the starter. The flavors were so well balanced that this was a pleasant "out of the box" surprise. Also enjoyed the delicious cocktail 🍹 Value for money and highly recommended ☺️

Delicious food, full table with all kinds of dishes. The staff thought along well (all dishes were available in smaller versions for the children). The leche Frita for dessert was also recommended.

Very friendly and enthusiastic woman who serves us. All the food was truly delicious and beautifully presented. Starter Tlayuda (Mexican pizza) Main course Mexican Peat, Burrito beef. Side dish patatas de Mexico. Dessert Leche frita. Drink spiced orange lemonade. Also recommended.

We had a very delicious meal at this location. It was very quiet when we arrived and we were allowed to choose which table we wanted to sit at. The nice thing here is that you don't have a beer or wine list on the table, but a soft drink menu. This also includes some special drinks that we tried. Happy with that choice, because they were served with fresh fruit and ice cubes and they tasted very good! All dishes were beautifully presented, were certainly large enough (read: not everything was used) and tasted good. The service is very friendly and helpful: one of them saw me fumbling with a knife and asked if I wanted a sharper knife.

Had dinner here after walking a stage of the Pieterpad. What a very nice hostess. She did everything with a smile, was interested and up for a joke. The food was a surprise every time and very tasty. Highly recommended

We had made a reservation and when we got there we were given a table at the back of the restaurant, close to the toilet and kitchen, we thought it was a nasty and unpleasant place, we also indicated it and asked for another table but it wasn't there, she offered. she apologized and was sorry that we experienced it that way. The food was excellent and delicious, the staff very friendly, during our main course we were offered another table, which we refused and thought it was not worth moving for the short while we were still there. We will definitely eat there again, with the understanding that we will be offered another table.

Our favorite restaurant in Hardenberg. This time we took the 3-course shared dinner menu. Everything was delicious and the concept was well thought out. Flavors go well together. The atmosphere at Dos Pimientos is always good and gives us the feeling that we are on holiday. The service is very friendly, never pushy. We love coming here!

Onze trouwdag hier met z'n 2-en gevierd. Zelfs al zou het eten niet zo best zijn, dan alleen al voor de supervriendelijke, blije bediening 5 sterren. Maar ook het eten was top. Ook als vegetariër kun je gewoon je buikje vol eten. Van harte aanbevolen.

I can recommend this restaurant, because they know how to run a proper restaurant business. Food is great in quantity and tasted. And all the staff, from waitresses to cook are very friendly and welcoming.

Als je je ooit in Hardenberg bevindt en je hebt een hunkering naar heerlijk Mexicaans eten, dan is Dos Pimientos dé plek om te zijn. Laat je niet misleiden door de nuchtere Nederlandse omgeving; het moment dat je dit restaurant binnenstapt, ben je getransporteerd naar een Mexicaanse fiesta van smaken.Het personeel? Oh, die zijn spontaan, vriendelijk en representatief. Ze zorgen er niet alleen voor dat je je thuis voelt, maar ook dat je je een beetje als een koning(in) waant. Alsof je El Chapo zelf bent, minus de criminele activiteiten natuurlijk. De inrichting is als een warme Mexicaanse knuffel: gezellig, warm, en met genoeg kleur om zelfs de meest sombere dagen op te vrolijken. Nu het eten. Laat me je vertellen, de Nacho's zijn zo perfect dat ze waarschijnlijk in hun vrije tijd de salsa dansen. En het gekarameliseerde buikspek? Het is een symfonie van smaken die je smaakpapillen een staande ovatie laat geven. De toiletten zijn een verhaal apart. Ruim, schoon, en voorzien van alle benodigdheden. Je zou er bijna willen blijven hangen, maar dat zou zonde zijn van het eten dat op je wacht.Het enige nadeel? Dos Pimientos is anderhalf uur rijden voor mij. Maar weet je, ik kan altijd een smoes verzinnen om die kant op te moeten. En als ik dat doe, weet je waar je me kunt vinden: bij Dos Pimientos, met een nacho in de ene hand en een stuk gekarameliseerd buikspek in de andere.

Uitstekend personeel en heerlijk eten! Ga vooral voor de Leche Frita, fantastisch! Absolute aanrader

Super heerlijk gegeten.Begonnen met de nacho's. Nog nergens zo heerlijk als bij Dos Pimientos. Hoofdgerecht de spies diamanthaas en de enchilladas. Beide voortreffelijk bereid in de keuken. Zelf nog de patatas de Mexico bijstellen,al een maaltijd op zich. Genoten met een lekker drankje. Mag je niet missen als je van de Mexicaanse keuken houdt.

Op vakantie in Beerze. Met het gezin naar dit restaurant gegaan afgaande op de positieve reacties! Geloof die reacties!! Zonder meer erg lekker gegeten zoals wij nog niet eerder hadden gedaan bij een Mexicaans restaurant. Bediening top! Houdt u niet van vis, dan zorgen wij ongevraagd voor vlees, erg netjes en vriendelijk. Wij hebben gekozen voor de proeverij van verschillende Mexicaanse gerechten. Het eten werd netjes uitgelegd als het geserveerd was. Wij hebben verrassend lekker gegeten en gedronken en bovenal genoten van een gezellige avond. Het praatje na afloop met de mensen uit de keuken die oprechte interesse toonde maakte onze avond compleet. Top!

Het eten is fantastisch en de bediening is grandioos. Kraanwater voor m’n jongste met ijsklontjes, geen probleem, kosteloos. Schaaltje met extra peper, geen probleem, kosteloos. Kinderijsje wat niet op de kaart staat? Ook geen probleem, klein prijsje. Helemaal niks op aan te merken, ga er heen. Wel reserveren :)

Menu en eten altijd prima in orde, heel lekker. Bediening warm en hartelijk, met een beetje humor, zoals wij het prettig vinden. Kortom, prima plek. Onlangs weer eens gegeten en vooral het verrassingsmenu is een aanrader. Iedere keer als we hier voor kiezen is het weer een andere samenstelling van gerechtjes, leuk hoor!

Super! We hadden het verassing menu voor €40. Top! Fijne goede verassende combinaties. Alles klopte, van de vis tot biefstuk tot salade. Vooral de combi meloen met geitenkaas. We zaten lekker buiten en dankzij het vriendelijke personeel hadden we een fijne avond. Het is dat we niet dichterbij wonen, anders kwamen we hier elke week😁

Mittel Großer Mexikaner, ABER sehr nettes Personal. In allen Sprachen Gastfreundlichkeit, perfekt. Und das Essen hier, können nur sagen Hmmmm mehr davon. Man Richt diese Lokal schon durch die ganze Fußgänger Zone... Klare weiter empfehlen 5*
