We ate at Dudok, and overall it was a good visit with some ups and downs. The quality of the food was definitely a highlight. The dishes were freshly prepared, delicious, and beautifully presented. You can tell they place great importance on high-quality ingredients. We also really liked the ambiance: modern, stylish, and cozy at the same time – a restaurant where you generally feel comfortable. The staff was particularly friendly. The service was attentive, polite, and tried hard to remain friendly despite the somewhat chaotic service. Unfortunately, the order management was the biggest problem that evening. After about 15 minutes of waiting, we were told that the carpaccio was already sold out. We then ordered something else. Shortly afterward, we were suddenly told that carpaccio was available again. So, the second order was canceled and changed once more. In the end, the dish we had originally canceled arrived anyway, which only added to the confusion. While it wasn't a major issue, the organization seemed rather disorganized and caused unnecessary confusion. This doesn't quite fit with the overall concept of a restaurant that otherwise presents such a professional image. In conclusion: The food is very good and fresh, the ambiance is modern, and the service is genuinely friendly – ​​however, the internal coordination of orders needs significant improvement. Nevertheless, it's a generally recommendable restaurant with potential for further development.

On Saturday afternoon, the regular beer wasn't at the right temperature... Staff not really friendly. Otherwise, a beautiful location, which makes up for it a little.

The high tea with a group of 20 people was downright bad. The tea itself consisted of a choice of simple 'tea bags', with no fresh herbal or loose-leaf tea to choose from. Additionally, I expect beautifully arranged boards or tiered stands to be placed on the table for a high tea, but instead, a buffet was simply set up where we had to help ourselves. The savory rolls ran out at a certain point, and when we asked for some extra rolls, we were told that was it and nothing more would be added. This was despite the fact that the number of people had been clearly agreed upon. The apple pie was thawed and soggy, as were the macarons. In between courses, the wait staff did not come to ask if everything was to our liking or if we wanted something else to drink. When we had finished eating, the tables were not cleared, and we were left sitting in the mess. If you are thinking of organizing a fun activity, do not do it at Dudok.

We had a fantastic event last Tuesday in the backyard of Dudok Arnhem. Everything was excellently arranged, from the communication and confirmations beforehand to the support from the staff at the venue itself. The food and drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect. We definitely recommend this location to anyone looking to organize a group event!

To be honest, our expectations of Dudok were high. Dudok used to stand for quality and experience, and that is precisely why we wanted to introduce our young children to a pleasant lunch here today. Unfortunately, things turned out completely differently. Upon arrival, it turned out that a large part of the menu was unavailable. The Vitello Tonato was sold out, and the meal salads—which were supposed to be available to order from 11:30 AM—turned out to be unavailable by 12:30 PM. That is remarkable, to say the least, for a lunch spot. In the end, we chose the Tuna Melt, among other things. What we received was a single slice of bread with something supposed to look like tuna, covered in melted cheese. For €14, that is truly below expectations. The kids' menu (fish and chips) was also disappointing: half a plate filled with sauces, a small piece of fish, and a handful of fries for €15. What should have been a special and fun experience turned into a major disappointment. We left the restaurant not only €100 poorer, but also with rumbling stomachs and a massive hangover. It is a shame to see how a name with so much history can be such a disappointment.

Great spot to sit. Fast and friendly staff. We were greeted quickly and asked if anything needed to be fetched. The table we were sitting at wobbled really badly, unfortunately, but that is just bad luck, of course. Had a nice lunch!

During my recent visit to Dudok Arnhem, I unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. During my stay, I was surprised to see a mouse running through the premises. This raises serious questions regarding hygiene and food safety, which is unacceptable for a hospitality establishment. I reported this immediately to the staff. However, the responses I received were mixed and did not give me the feeling that my report was being taken seriously. For this reason, I requested to speak to the manager. To my disappointment, the manager responded in an unprofessional manner, remarking that I choose to eat here myself. I consider this response inappropriate and not customer-oriented. I find it concerning that such a situation is not handled adequately and that no understanding or responsibility is shown towards the guest. I hope that this feedback is taken seriously and that appropriate measures are taken to improve both hygiene and customer service.

Lunch: meat croquette, cup of soup, and egg salad with 2 slices of bread is a winner.

3rd visit to Dudok Arnhem. This time a marinated chicken sandwich and a Tripel Karmeliet. Wow, what a taste sensation. The chicken was deliciously spicy with a sweet sauce and pickled cucumber. Not suitable for everyone! The staff is still very nice, although I do see a lot of new faces. Dudok, definitely worth a visit!

With the beautiful weather today, we really wanted to sit outside in the sunshine. This was not possible, as there were still empty tables standing there that were not allowed to be used. The young lady also cheekily pointed out that she couldn't conjure up tables. She didn't need to conjure them up; they were already there and were simply empty. We all went to eat somewhere else.

The lunch was tasty, the space a bit dull and dated but perfectly fine for a cozy atmosphere. Furthermore, the service was excellent, friendly and very attentive. We come here quite often, including for a night of comedy. All in all, it is otherwise fine here.

Upon entering, a female and a male employee were standing in the doorway who were only focused on themselves and completely ignored us. No good afternoon, they were just busy with each other. We sat down, completely ignored by all the staff. After 10 minutes I went to the restroom; upon returning, no order had been taken yet. Everyone was busy clearing tables but there was no eye contact whatsoever. After 20 minutes we just left because we seemed invisible to the staff. What a terrible place and absolutely no atmosphere.

Not our first time here. We did have to wait for someone to show us to a table, which took way too long this time. All the staff walking by didn't greet us, didn't even look goodbye, or acknowledge us. We left. We didn't feel like waiting any longer, knowing it would also take a long time to place an order and get our food. We went somewhere else. Because of our decision, the people behind us followed suit. It was a shame for this otherwise nice place.

Good food, beautiful decor, and hardworking staff. The place is enormous and tastefully decorated. Regarding the ambiance, the lights could be a bit dimmer. Otherwise, it's absolutely fantastic. The lunch was delicious! We ordered a 12-hour snack, which was perfect. The pea soup and egg salad were especially delicious. Be on time, as this place fills up quickly. Reservations are, of course, an option.

Cozy restaurant with friendly staff. The only thing I don't like is the acoustics. There's little sound insulation. We had the carpaccio sandwich, which I highly recommend. Very tasty and generously filled. Dudok is definitely recommended!

It's a unique place. But inside, the tiles make it feel a bit chilly. That's a matter of taste. However, the reverberation of all the sound is too much. You can barely hear each other. Even in a historic building, that's something you can certainly do something about. Ordering, despite the presence of staff, is done via a QR code. A runner puts it down without saying a word and disappears again. Upon leaving, you have to search for someone to pay. You don't do that immediately upon ordering. Well, I experience better connectivity and service at the average Gastgood chain. Average chance, because it's a beautiful store with beautiful products.

The food was okay. However, the tables needed to be wiped down more often; everything was sticky. The service was friendly, and English was sufficient. If you wanted another drink, you had to wait a long time for someone to respond. The prices were reasonable.

I come here often for coffee and cake, and I usually have a great experience. From the cafés I've tried in Arnhem they have the biggest variety of cakes, and all of them are really tasty. I especially love their Black Velvet cake. The coffee is great too. The only bad experience I had was when I ordered chai tea and it had so much cinnamon it I couldn't drink it. The service is also friendly.

A beer garden in Arnhem is great. One minor drawback is that the promised half-liter of wine was "only" 0.3 liters.

Went there tonight, what a disgrace. Tables covered in birds' shit. German beer was impossible to order. Schnitzel was small and very overcooked. Side of fries for €17.50. Absolutely no atmosphere. Get it right or quit. I'm done with it. A friendly waiter, though, with long dark hair.

At Dudok Arnhem, they've come up with the absurd idea of turning part of the terrace into a "beer garden." The problem is that the main terrace (where most people sit!), located in front of the building, is being treated to blaring oompah music. What a disgrace this decision by Dudok! We quickly finished our drinks and fled. What a sham! Dudok wouldn't even consider doing that in Amsterdam or The Hague.

In the summer there are no fans or air conditioners, so it is stuffy. It is noisy and the tables are so close together that you feel no privacy.

DUDOK SMASHBURGER!! Wow, that sounded like something to me...a double burger for €17.50!!! That must be the best.... OMG...🤭!! I know that times have changed and everything has become much more expensive and that sometimes you have to ask for a lot with shame on your face because you have no choice... but this really hit everything!!! A small lousy sandwich with two slices of paper-thin, dry-fried slices of meat in between, which were supposed to represent hamburgers...with two slices of tomato and two slices of cheese and a few strings of fried onion served with two slices of bacon for €2.00 extra and some fries with sauce for €4.00 extra... So together € 23.50... Then you are better off at Mac with a Big Mac menu for €8.50!!! Just be normal...If you ask 17.50 for just a hamburger sandwich...then present one too And very striking... after a series of bad reviews, I suddenly received several 5 stars within a week🤫. I think you would benefit more from honest feedback...so here it is.

On my wife's 50th birthday I decided to eat a delicious cake here. Clearly ask in advance for a cozy place, not near the toilet or outside door. And you guessed it: the most unpleasant table right in front of the entrance. Things didn't get much better after that. The service was okay, but the glasses could have been a bit cleaner. The Grimbergen Blonde had fallen completely dead before he had reached the table. A short afternoon cost around EUR 70, which was also not easy. Dudok is a beautiful, stylish business, but the service and quality could really be better.

The cake was tasty, but unfortunately it took a very long time before we got our drinks. The decoration of the building is just like my grandmother's house: Ugly!
