DUMPLING BAR -JA! in Wijk 07 Scheveningen

I've never eaten so badly. I felt nauseous all day.

The vegetarian ramen was very tasty. The ambience is like that, but the food is really good. However, you shouldn't order beer, lukewarm, non-carbonated broth.

We had ramen here. The food was delicious. The restaurant is a bit lacking in atmosphere and very warm inside. Luckily, we were able to sit outside. I'll definitely order ramen here again next summer.

Disappointing. We are always looking for new places, but this was a complete waste of time. Outside on the sign was Babi Pangan, but they didn't have that on the menu. On the menu was green curry, but they didn't have that either. No ingredients for it. Ordered fried rice with shrimp and there was no shrimp in it. They forgot. 😂 Got a 50% discount on the dish in the end. No music in the shop. It all looked rather amateurish. Red wine from the fridge. Really too bad. We wish local entrepreneurs the best, but we won't be coming here again.

Came by because review was good on google. Dumplings we ordered were tasty. But the ramen and fried rice tasted more like something you’d cook as a hangover meal. Broth was over seasoned and vegetables tasted like frozen vegetables. Overall I don’t recommend the ramen or fried rice. If you are purely looking for dumplings then this restaurant is okay.

We had veggie ramen and veggie gyoza. One of the best I have ever had , recommend it for vegetarians.

Op de goede reviews van Google af gekomen. Dit mini restaurantje staat in een woonwijk, interieur ziet er niet gezellig of uitnodigend uit, maar dat zijn we een beetje gewend van Aziatische restaurants. Het eten zelf was heerlijk, we hadden als voorgerecht Koreaanse fried chicken, gyoza met garnalen en soepdumplings. Als hoofdgerecht hadden we beiden de ramen met cha sieuw. De smaken waren goed, maar ik moest wel wennen aan de westerse producten zoals maïs in de gyoza, broccoli en champignons in de ramen. Goed dat ze gebruik maken van lokale producten, maar het was wel even wennen. Wat ik echt miste in de ramen was een Japans eitje; dit was een gewoon wit hardgekookt eitje. Qua prijzen, super top! Frisje voor €2,50 en een wijn voor €3,95, hoofdgerecht voor €15…waar vind je dat soort prijzen nog. Wij hadden 1,5 uur de tijd om te dineren en dat was ook nodig, want het duurde allemaal iets langer dan we gewend waren, maar goed, toen het eten er uiteindelijk was…was het genieten.

My partner and I wanted something a bit off the beaten track, so after reading good reviews we decided to try this place for dinner. Despite some light foot traffic outside, the restaurant was completely empty, so we had it nice and quiet to ourselves. We ordered 4 items: gyoza varkens met Chinese kool, gyoza bief zwarte peper, gyoza garnaal met vlees, and xioulongbao. All of the food was good, but not amazing. The beef dumplings were probably the highlight because they had a hint of spice to them, but the xioulongbao were not soupy at all, unfortunately. Additionally, it would have been nice to be offered some chili oil or sambal or similar instead of just vinegar and soya. Still the service was excellent, everything was clean and the portions were decent for the price. We would go back.

Zeer vriendelijke bediening en heerlijk eten. De entourage is niet bijzonder gezellig, maar welk Aziatisch restaurant is dat nou wel. Het gaat tenslotte om het lekkere eten en dat is bij restaurant meer dan prima. Snelheid is ook top.

Poor Asian/Chinese restaurant. Too much deep-fried food. Friendly staff.

Wij wilden graag even snel een hapje doen en dat is gelukt. Snelle service, heerlijk eten, voor een prima prijs! Drankjes mogen wel gekoeld worden in het vervolg

Beetje duur, maar ja wat niet in scheveningen. Hele aardige staff en eten is lekker.
