Aanwinst voor Nieuw Kijkduin. Goede keuken, fijne ambiance en zeer gastvrij! Superenthousiaste, zeer vriendelijke ondernemer en een ambitieuze chef.

Unfortunately, our expectations were far exceeded. While there's nothing to complain about in terms of ambiance and staff, the food is far from up to par. While it's beautifully presented, the soup was far too watery for almost 20 Swiss francs, and the other main courses were unfortunately very meager. So, there's still plenty of room for improvement during peak season...

I can't really say why, but for me, this restaurant is simply two (maximum three) stars incarnate. The beer was good, though.

On Christmas Day, we had a reservation for five people at 6:00 PM, which was duly confirmed by email by this fake restaurant. The word "fake" refers to the fact that the entire restaurant was closed on Christmas Day. Judging by the several disappointed families who, like us, found the doors closed, we could tell we weren't the only ones who had abandoned this restaurant chain. You also start to question your own sanity, and luckily, we still had the confirmation email to dispel that. The best advice for this restaurant is to stay closed.

Besteld bij uber eats, maaltijd koud, 27,15 euro en met eenmalige korting 16, 46 euro. De Japanese pickels zaten er niet bij wel 10 gram ander zuur. Smaken heerlijk, maar prijs, koud eten bizar hoog, zie foto. Uit principe zal ik hier nooit meer bestellen.

Occasion dinner on a Saturday: Dogs are not welcome, only tolerated and only in the “winter garden” and outside. The reception by a hectic lady was frosty. We didn't feel welcome. Ordering and receiving the drinks went smoothly and the service was pleasantly friendly. Although we had explicitly ordered 2 starters and 2 main courses, both starter and main course were brought at the same time; Well, everything except my main course, which was actually forgotten. We waited and looked around again and again, looking for someone to serve us, but to no avail. So after I finished the appetizer, I went to the counter myself and asked. The waitress was totally disinterested, but took care of the “problem” quickly. After 5 minutes, my husband was almost finished with his main course, my main course also arrived with a short, borrowed apology; the food was warm to cold. We weren't asked if it tasted good or if we wanted something else to drink or if we wanted dessert. Nobody came to us anymore, not even to clear the starter and main course plates. So we ended up paying with the unfriendly lady who welcomed us and ended the experience. The starters tasted ok and were nicely presented. The main courses were a bit bland in taste, mine was too cold for me, my husband's had to look for the chicken, but both were pretty to look at. The fresh “green” juice was extremely tasty. The price-performance ratio is not right for us. The ambience is great, both inside, in the "winter garden" and outside, everything is harmoniously cozy. The location of the restaurant is also great. Since everyone deserves a second chance, we will plan another visit.

The food at Wagamama was good, but we didn’t get our meals at the same time, which was inconvenient. When we mentioned it, the staff seemed offended instead of apologizing. It was also really cold, so we had to close the door ourselves. Overall, it was okay, but not something I’d recommend.

Stylish, but with room for improvement! The way there is a bit long, but easy to find thanks to the good signage. The modern design and cleanliness are definitely plus points. The toilets are not huge, but they are spacious enough. Unfortunately there is only a fan to dry your hands and no paper towels. Another negative point is the loud music. It's definitely too loud to do your business in peace. In addition, either a squat toilet is missing or there should be more cubicles. Overall, the restrooms are nice and clean, but the loud music and lack of squat toilet/stalls spoil the experience.

Expensive and tasteless. Not sure what happened, but maybe they forgot to add the salad dressing in the poke bowl my husband ordered. DO NOT order the Pad Thai! Tasted nothing close to what it should taste like and I know as I grew up in Thailand. They also didn't strain the noodles so it was watery and slimy. But I also blame myself for ordering Thai food in a fusion restaurant. Location is good so if you want a snack and a drink it's ok.

Wonderfully spontaneously refueled with vegan dishes. And a great evening.

Very good food, unfortunately only until 8 PM. Drinks good but too expensive. Service was sometimes clumsy but criticism was handled very well. Would love to come back.

First of all, a great venue with a nice view at the beach front. Sadly that means high prices, however I wouldn't say that it's necessarily a problem. The Ramen was not enough to make you full and it was a basic western Ramen. It was tasty, just nothing special. I was expecting more from a restaurant this highly priced.

Absolutely amazing experience. The wait staff was exceptionally friendly and kind. The food was outstanding—I would love a bowl of just the beef used in the ramen; it was incredible, possibly the best I've ever had, especially in noodles. The bao buns were the best I've ever tasted, with such juicy filling. The mochi was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the thicker rice skin, which added depth and a satisfying texture. The green tea was my favorite, a perfect complement to the meal.

We were very well attended and the food was delicious. The waiters were very attentive, there was even one who spoke Spanish. We loved it!

New restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and decor, nice terrace. The dishes are a little expensive for what they are and the service is a little slow, we didn't all receive the dishes at the same time (10 minutes apart it's still hot). The chicken ramen was good but nothing more. Note for 5 people without starter or dessert: €120

The three of us went to dinner. My daughter was fed for years, and we didn't get fed until 20 minutes later. Apologies, and discount. Fine. So when we finally got our food I immediately ordered another drink... never came. In short, I will not recommend anyone to eat here, even though the food was tasty.

Beautiful location on the Kijkduin boulevard. Underground parking garage nearby. Everything is new here and you can see that. Beautiful new buildings. The restaurant is beautiful and has a nice atmosphere. Nicely decorated and nice seating areas! Staff were friendly and helped quickly and orders were delivered quickly. You could order via your own mobile via a QR code, then pay immediately. Or just order via staff and receive a nice menu. Choice was enough and varied. Starter we had gyoza chicken and spicy prawns. It was really delicious! Delicious in taste and the spiciness at the right level. Main course ramen chicken for daughter. She was really having fun! I had the teriyaki steak. Perfect! Meat nicely medium cooked and nice and tender and flavorful. The noodles were also well seasoned. We had a delicious meal here! For sure we will come back again! Worth repeating!

Would come back based on taste. Teriyaki beef was delicious aswell as the sushi dragon roll.. Also had the gyoza which was very tasty. The mango mochi also very nice taste but unfortunately came with drizzled dark chocolate sauce, i did not like the combination. Service was not that great but the food was, luckily.

Overheerlijk gegeten op het terras buiten. Voorgerecht : crispy chili mushrooms Hoofdgerecht : Teriyaki grilled duck en donburi gochujang rice bowl. Deze was Super lekker en pittig Desert : white chocolate + ginger cheesecake. Zoals verwacht overheerlijk en een Yuzu exotique. Deze viel een beetje tegen. Door de verbouwing van de boulevard, liepen er regelmatig mens over het terras. Maar dit was niet storend.

I regularly eat at Wagamama with my family. Always very tasty and healthy food. Nice atmosphere, clean and friendly staff. Sandy in particular is always very nice and cooks really well. The Koyo Bowl with chicken, the donburi teriyaki, the bao buns Korean barbecue beef and the gyoza yasai are highly recommended🥳

Went to Wagamama Kijkduin a while ago. Firecracker chicken with rice is normally with meat, but could be replaced with tofu. Definitely recommended. And also friendly service.

the music was very loud and echoing. the service was okay. there are many vegan options. I had the vegan yakisoba which was very tasty but unfortunately contained a piece of chicken. the lemonade was also very tasty

Via Uber eten besteld bij Wagamama "Meatlovers" voor 2 personen, dus voor bijna €50,- Amper groenten, héél weinig vlees, kleffe hap noedels, waar een kippenbouillon overheen gegoten moest worden en twee losse boa buns met amper vulling ertussen. Nooit meer!! Wat een afzetterij.....!!

Ate at Kijkduin. I had never been there before. There are numbers next to the photos of the dishes. This way you can find them on the map. I ordered a curry dish with chicken. Was tasty and sufficient. The service speaks to you in English. They may also ask in which language you would like to be addressed. And when I wanted to pay in cash, they said they had no change. So you must have exact change. Very strange. But it was a pleasant evening.

After receiving our drinks we placed our order. Unfortunately it never arrived. After 30 minutes we saw food being served to people who had arrived 15 minutes later. Inquiries revealed that unfortunately our order had disappeared from the waitress's mind. The cash register was only 2 meters from our table. but So already outside the high season they can't handle it. We left and didn't pay for our drinks. They thought that was special. NOT ME !

Na binnenkomst netjes geholpen voor de drankjes. Drankjes worden geleverd en de bestelling wordt opgenomen. Ik vraag het nog extra na, want alles werd zonder opschrijven opgenomen. Na een half uur zien wij andere gasten hun eten krijgen die later dan ons zijn binnen gekomen. Bij navraag krijgen we te horen dat alles is verwerkt echter is onze bestelling nergens in het restaurant bekend… was ons eerste bezoek en ook de laatste. Hoogseizoen is nog niet eens begonnen en 2/3 zaak was leeg en dan gaat het al mis.. erg jammer… Dus weet als je gaat dat je lang moet wachten en dat de kans zeer groot is dat je niets te eten krijgt. Ik heb overigens de drankjes niet betaald. Dat vonden zij apart. IK NIET !

Absolute misser!! Wat we wilden eten was niet mogelijk want ze hadden geen taugé. Toen iets uitgezocht en gevraagd of dat dan ipv met beef met garnalen kon. Na een kwartier kwamen de borden door met beef vol zenen. Het was er tamelijk leeg terwijl het bij de buurman Pavarotti gezellig druk was. Nu begrijp ik ook waarom. Nooit meer.

Ate here with friends, food fast and delicious, fresh, varied. Wasn't the atmosphere you expect at such a restaurant, may also have been due to the weather (it wasn't beach weather). I understand that English is spoken nowadays and in a seaside resort, but I think it's a shame that they don't speak Dutch at all. Overall satisfied.

Helaas slechte ervaring. Geen sashimi. Geen dragonroll. Bediening zeer uit een met andere woorden de een doe zijn best de ander;en) boeit niet. Het is een grote eet kantine. Met een hoge prijskaartje eraan. Prijs mag hoog zijn maar moet wel kwalitatief kwaliteit hebben. Maar dat vind ik helaas niet terug. Hebben weinig keuze uit aperitief en wijnen. Sake is tot verhouding goedkoop. Kan helaas niet adviseren om daar naar toe te gaan. Ook accepteren ze geen contante geld.

Vegan food was okay. Nothing to special. Curry definitely better than the stir fried noodles. Very pricy, but that’s also the location.

The menu is small but nice, the food is fresh and very tasty. Unfortunately, the restaurant is difficult to find due to the construction site and the service was no longer visible after we had our food.

Very tasty food, the variety of tastes really surprised us! The ambience with seats in the glass porch where you could enjoy the sun was simply very nice and relaxed. Oh and right on the beach, fabulous!

Tasty food and quite affordable. They had delicious cocktails that are unfortunately off the menu. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Dogs are also allowed in the front part of the restaurant which I think is a big plus. The only downside is that the food doesn't come at the same time. This is also indicated because everything is freshly prepared, but if you are with a group and one person has already finished his food fifteen minutes before the other gets something, something really goes wrong.

The sushi was delicious and super fresh! The dessert in the video looked delicious, but the taste was very disappointing. It had a smoked taste to it. That was overpowering and made the cake not tasty to our taste. The pad Thai and black pepper prawns were above average. I would definitely come back for the sushi!

New, interior is nice, the food as the chain food is to be, the service is very slow, we waited more than 45min for the shushi rolls. Finally, we cancelled it and left a bit disappointed the restaurant.

Enjoyed a great meal. Service very friendly and food came quickly. Tastes super good, atmosphere in the restaurant top. In short, a wonderful dinner out and highly recommended. We will be back.. Even without a Groupon we will remain a customer.

Heading that way with a Groupon deal for 3 people. 1 could not come, but we were able to eat 3 starters and 3 main courses for two. Food was delicious and we will definitely come back here again. Ambience was cozy and atmospheric and the staff very friendly! Recommended!!!!! We were told in advance that the food would arrive as soon as it was ready, so there was a chance that you would first receive a main course and only then the starter. In the end everything came at the same time, but that didn't spoil the fun

Great food, heavy on spices. Make sure to order the prawn menus - best entrée if you like burst of taste. Services are nice, given recommendations when needed. Atmosphere as well, perfect for dinner with friends and loved ones.

Heerlijk, licht verteerbaar eten. Het was even wennen om te kiezen op de menukaart omdat we nog nooit eerder Japans eten gegeten hadden. We mochten niet contant betalen en dat mag volgens mij niet.

De steak hadden we medium rare besteld. Echter was het doorgebakken tot een schoenzool. De noodles waren wel erg lekker. Tip: neem de black praws of boa buns als voorgerecht.

Friendly service, but way too much noise coming from the kitchen. Food wasn’t special and seemed reheated. Definitely not worth the high price.

Amazing place with very friendly staff and phenomenal food. I have been there three times, always had different main dishes. I had Pad Thai, Udon, Ramen and they never disappoint. Besides, they have great smoothies to go with your food. If you still have room for dessert, try the chocolate cake with icecream, it's delicious!

New Wagamama in Kijkduin on the boulevard. The positives are: - the location, it has a sea view - the place is child friendly, we went with a two year old and he got some pencils and paper to play with - in my opinion very nice tasting Asian style food! We were there for lunch round 13.00 and it was very quiet. Hopefully it picks up a bit, it's nicer when there are more people inside. But i haven't been for dinner yet, maybe it's busier then.

Het eten was heerlijk. De bediening vriendelijk. Het was heel schoon en de honden mochten mee. In de verwarmde serre.

Best leuk en lekker, maar......... De gerechten zijn erg vers bereid, smaakvol, maar wat aan de vlakke kant. Het mag best wel wat meer gedurfd allemaal. Geef gasten bijvoorbeeld de keus hoe pittig je bepaalde gerechten wilt hebben. Zou niet ingewikkeld moeten zijn. Maar dan de bediening. De mensen zijn erg vriendelijk en doen hun best, ook om Nederlands te spreken. Wat ik ook in andere reviews tegenkom: we wilden eerst even wat drinken, misschien een paar kleine hapjes bestellen en dan het hoofdgerecht. Maar zo werkt dat niet bij Wagamama. Al na een paar minuten arriveerden het voor- en hoofdgerecht tegelijk, voor één persoon. Na weer een aantal minuten het hoofdgerecht voor de ander. Geen drankjes. We hebben even afgewacht, maar moesten toch de bediening helpen herinneren aan onze drankbestelling. Hierdoor is de overall waardering wat ons betreft maar 3 sterren. Qua beleving - de bedoeling is toch dat je gezellig uit eten gaat - houdt het niet over.

Inviting place to eat with great quick friendly service . Food is varied and delicious. My only tiny comment or suggest would be that the smoked chocolate and caramel cake was wonderful except that the chocolate mousse/ganache was a tad too much smoke that it overpowered the chocolate flavor, apart from that it was delicious.

The food is great don't misunderstand, but prices have really shot up and you could probably get similar food way cheaper. Especially their dessert prices were crazy. The curry was great but half of the food was brought put 15 minutes before the rest of it which made for an extremely akward dining experience.

The food is very very basic. They have a nice kids menu BUT the food is very bad, the noodles were spaghetti serve with raw carrot and corn out for the can without any sauce. The fried rice was a strange rice puree, like overcooked rice raw carrot and corn out of the can,. No sauce. Looks like they hate kids. Also we had the donbury (chicken teriyaki) even there is the kimchi in the ingredient list of the dish, they ask you if you want it and charge you extra for it!! I protested but they didn't want to know anything. The only good things is that the waitress was very nice.

Sehr leckeres Essen, tolles Ambiente. Ich finde die Auswahl auf der Karte super, auch sehr viel für Vegetarier:innen und Veganer:innen dabei. Wir haben nicht lange auf unser Essen warten müssen und uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Ich habe die Sushi Bowl gewählt. Das Essen und die Getränke kamen schnell, die Servicekraft war sehr freundlich.

Smaak van het eten was goed, helaas wel gedeeltelijk koud en weinig kip en garnalen. Ik had de Tepanyaki met kip en garnalen, maar dat waren slechts een paar stukjes kip en een paar garnalen. Te bedenken dat je toch 17 Euro voor zo'n gerecht betaald. De noedels en taugé waren warm, de rest lauw tot koud. Wat de aankleding betreft nog iets te kaal, kil. Hangt geen sfeer. Bloemen, leuke verlichting of meer kleur zou ze zeker goed doen

One of my favorite! Het eten is super lekker, vers en rijk van smaak. Ik kom hier regelmatig langs, omdat de sfeer top is. De bediening is super relaxed en het eten laat niet lang op zich wachten. Je kan zowel binnen als buiten zitten. Kortom dikke 10!

We zijn er twee keer geweest. Eerste keer was toen ze net open waren en de bediening verliep toen heel stroef. Veel wist ze niet. Was niet zo erg. We zijn er weer geweest en de bediening is niet heel vlot. Ik zag in een review staan dat ze geen plezier uit. Dat doen ze inderdaad niet. We hebben er ruim anderhalf uur gezeten en ze zijn één keer langs geweest om te vragen of alles naar wens was. Als we ze nodig hadden, dessert te bestellen, waren ze lastig te benaderen. Vond ik best vervelend. Wat ik gek vond is dat we verse sap ' fruit' hadden besteld. In het menu was het rood en toen we het kregen was het geel. De bediening gaf aan dat het kwam door de granaatappel pitten. Die waren niet rood genoeg? Cheesecake met gember was echt een teleurstelling. Ik heb geen gember geproefd. Eten kwam eerder dan het drinken. Let er wel op dat ze de gerechten brengen zodra het klaar is. Niet alles komt in een keer. Verder vond ik het eten oké maar mijn gezelschap vond dat ik ze daar niet meer mee naar toe moest nemen. Zal ik ook niet meer doen.

Eten was ok, maar ver van wat je verwacht voor echte Japanese eten. Ik had de ramen en die was helemaal te vergelijken met wat je krijgt bij een echte ramen tent. Bediening was wel goed. Had ook de donburi met eend maar niet erg echt veel eenden vlees...
