Unfortunately, the Tofu dishes were not good. It was super hard and had a very odd consistency - the waiters are nice and I am sure there are good dishes on the menu, the tofu was just not one of them.

I ordered from here for delivery. I cannot attest to the actual restaurant experience. For the takeout, the ramen noodles were clump together, probably because they were reheated after being cooked and cooled down. The broccoli was excellent and cooked to perfection. The beef pieces were well seasoned and cooked well. I ordered food here for delivery; therefore, I cannot judge the experience in the restaurant itself. Full Moon Express is highly recommended! Super delicious food, good quality, and dirt cheap too. It's a lovely place to sit and the atmosphere is cozy. Definitely a place you'll want to come back to!

We were seated at a nice spot. I had questions about the menu, which the staff member answered in a friendly and polite manner. Dietary requirements (allergies) were properly communicated to the kitchen. The portion (vegetarian supreme fried egg noodles) was large. I not only ate enough, but also enjoyed my meal.

Terrible restaurant. Ordered via Uber. The delivery person arrived with food that was completely out of the containers and everything was in the bag. So I didn't accept it and sent it back. Called the restaurant and told them what happened. The restaurant said they were going to remake and deliver the order. 45 minutes later, no food. We called again and the restaurant said the delivery person never came back, so we weren't getting the new food. What can I do about it? Why didn't they call us to tell us not to wait for nothing? The man indicated that they have no insight into the delivery drivers, as if we do??? Very cheeky on the phone and 0x apology, just that we get our money back. That wasn't even the point. We are literally waiting for NOTHING. Sitting with a child waiting for his food. How ridiculous!

I have eaten at this establishment many times over the past three years. it used to be a favourite, very delicious and affordable. however, it seems that there has been some changes in place, maybe management? i can tell because even the menus and bowls are different, and chopsticks aren't given with the food unless asked. the food quality took a steep decline. i ordered the chicken katsu ramen and it was so bland! it used to be so flavourful, but now the broth only has the flavour of the sauce that goes on the chicken, which isn't enough to carry it. the bowls were hard to drink out of, and the spoons were just normal western soup spoons - they are not designed for ramen. please, these changes aren't what your customers wanted! the old recipes and materials were beloved. but alas. it is still an okay restaurant, but i will not be returning again, unfortunately.

Terribly filthy!! The cooks who go to the toilet here don't even wash their hands afterwards. I saw a cook go to the toilet and then straight to the kitchen without washing his hands. Shame on you, I'm not coming back.

Delivery was super nice and quick, but the food left me disappointed. I chose this restaurant to have a birthday meal from, but it wasn’t really great. Sesame balls tasted good but were way too oily, the fried rice I got was pretty lacking in flavor so I had to season it a lot, and the strawberry boba was more of a milkshake honestly. Tasty but not what I expected at all..

You order what you get—the wrong thing—then they can't do anything more for you and hang up on you—rude!

A good restaurant with a varied menu. Not the typical menu you often find at Chinese-Indonesian restaurants in the Netherlands. Friendly and welcoming. We often eat in and also order takeout. Always good. Highly recommended is the honey pepper beef, chicken, or fish with fried rice and mixed vegetables. If you're visiting The Hague, this is a must-try in the heart of Chinatown.

I've already ordered food from here four times this week. The food is delicious. Yesterday I ordered honey pepper fish, but got honey pepper chicken. Also very delicious. I called to tell them the order was wrong, but they resolved it very quickly. Highly recommended.

I ordered when the delivery time was between 20 and 40 minutes. It's now 70 minutes for a simple fried rice. When I called, I was told I'd have to sort it out with the Thuisbezorgd delivery drivers myself, since this restaurant doesn't have its own. Mind you: it says the food is still being prepared, not that it's already left. With Thuisbezorgd drivers, the departure time is accurate. It was a small effort to adjust the delivery time to longer and also to check if my food is even being prepared.

I usually eat at FMCity, but I was overbooked, so they referred me to FMExpress. Despite a different owner and a slightly different menu, I still found it good. You're not crammed in, and there's no wait. I only had to order half of the Peking duck pancakes; I couldn't order a quarter, which FMC offers. I ordered a takeout order of X17—the tofu was missing. I'm getting a refund, and the service is excellent.

The first time I ordered here was great... Today I've been waiting for over an hour. No one answers the phone, and my order is canceled. This is truly disgraceful and unacceptable. Just in case they give a lame excuse about it being the delivery driver's fault. You were supposedly preparing until closing time.

After a strenuous sightseeing tour of The Hague's Old Town, you're working up an appetite, so off you go to Chinatown. Full Moon Express lives up to its name; the delicious food arrives about 5-7 minutes after ordering. It's great value for money. They serve a good Tsingtao beer, but also the slightly weaker Sapporo beer. Overall, a clear recommendation at around €33 for two people. 👍

Very disappointed. Compared to a few months ago, the quality of the food has declined significantly. The crispy pork belly was very dry! Using unfresh, repeatedly roasted pork belly won’t fool Chinese customers. The fried noodles had absorbed too much moisture and were extremely soft — clearly overcooked.

Ordered via Thuisbezorgd on New Year's Day... the expected 40 minutes waiting time ended up being 100. The restaurant called in between to say that one of the ordered meals could not be delivered, so I had to change it. For more than half an hour, the remaining delivery time was 7 minutes. Called the restaurant again: delivery person was on his way. That was a lie, because he didn't leave until fifteen minutes after the phone call. Waited too long, but hey... if the food was good, it would have been quickly forgotten. Unfortunately... meat was dry, in general the meals were boring and uninspired. Only my vegetarian honey pepper chicken tasted quite good. Certainly not worth repeating.

Not sure what happened to this place.. It used to be a lot more authentic years ago. Now the majority of employees are non Asian which is just something that is noticeable if you came here frequently back in the days. Food quality is definitely not how it used to be, I had one dish that looked and tasted like it came straight from a high school canteen. It’s like they hired cheaper non experienced amateurs, not to be rude but it has gone significantly downhill.

Ordered food from Full Moon very often! But after receiving food for the umpteenth time that is sometimes good and sometimes not so good, I will not order from here again! It's clearly OVER date!!! Things didn't look good upon arrival! And now that I have consumed it I have a terrible stomach ache!!!!!

The Hague also has Chinatown. When you come to Chinatown, of course you have to try the Hong Kong-style barbecue that we all love! The meals are quite satisfactory, but there are many choices. I am very satisfied if I can eat Chinese food!

The food was either cold, tasteless or seemed to be at least a day old. Some dishes were hard to chew. At least the meat was good, but that's the only positive thing we had to say. The music was what you find on TikTok, not making for a great ambiance. And the staff seemed friendly enough, but it was obvious they didn't really care a whole lot. If the prices were low I wouldn't have cared so much, but I feel it was way overpriced for what we got.

There are several 'Full Moon' restaurants in the same region so please double check which one you go for. The food I ordered was super dry and bland (which I don't expect from this cuisine). I did not enjoy the food and the staff did not know much about their menu either (so forget getting recommendations from them). Only the honey pepper chicken was nice.

I had the spicy Szechuan. I like spicy and I can really handle it. But this one was really extremely spicy. way too spicy. Didn't get further than the second bite unfortunately.

Me and my family went to eat dinner at this restaurant. The service was horrible. We ordered three udon soups, one udon wok dish and one curry katsu (not bento!!) they gave us three times the wrong type, they kept giving us a bento type of curry, and once we got the correct one the chicken was completely soaked in the curry, it was soggy and not enjoyable. instead of giving us three times udon soups we got four times udon wok dishes?? when the server wanted to give a udon wok dish to us his finger was in our food. In the CharSiu Udon soup was a hair. there was way too much salt on the edamame. I get that this server may be new, but why is he putting his finger into food (not only ours we saw him put his finger into another customers bowl of rice), why is he not getting trained to be a server?? and how come he doesn’t apologize ONCE for his behavior? We got only two apologies both from two different servers

In general the food is very good, but this time I ordered and picked it up by phone and unfortunately it was not tasty at all, teriyaki beef ramen noodles. I thought I was getting a noodle dish with teriyaki beef, but I got a bowl of unappetizing noodles through which I apparently had to add the watery soup. It also didn't taste like anything and the beef teriyaki was tough and had little flavor. Next time we will eat on site at Fullmoon City because we liked it much more.
