For my birthday, I had the catering provided by Evi Durum. Everything was delivered neatly and on time, and the amount of food was more than sufficient. The fact that my guests went back for seconds speaks for itself, of course! My compliments on the presentation and the neat packaging. Everything was neatly and individually packaged: rice, bulgur, meat, fries, salad, and various sauces. The food was delicious, and there was more than enough for everyone. Evi Durum is absolutely an asset to Rotterdam and the surrounding area. Thank you for the excellent service and the delicious food! Highly recommended.

We waited for takeaway. Generally, the food is tasty! The chicken is nice and tender, the bread and rice are well cooked as well! The salad is tasteless and the french fries are the cheap conventional ones. We paid 25€ for the chicken portion + adana durum. Overall, would eat there again! It made a bad impression to me that we were not offered complimentary tea and bread ( which is standard for these types of restaurants, including the one across the street).

They have a wide variety of wraps. The prices and taste are good. However, the woman serving and taking orders was very emotionless and off-putting…

I asked for an extra full bread and was charged €2 for it, but when I got home I realized they had only included half a bread in my order. That was really disappointing, and I expected the order to be prepared correctly.

I ordered via Thuisbezorgd. My order didn't arrive excessively late. But I'm going to talk about the food itself. The food was tasteless and excessively disgusting. The bulgur pilaf and regular pilaf really had surprisingly little flavor. And the chicken thighs and chicken wings were even worse!

If the rice could have used just a little more kick, maybe next time you could ask them to make it a bit spicier—many kitchens are happy to adjust that.

Before, everything was always perfect, but lately I’ve noticed some changes in the portion sizes—they seem to have become smaller, while the prices have gone up. I completely understand that costs are increasing everywhere, but it would be great if the portions could at least stay the same when prices rise. The food, especially the lamb, is deliciously fresh... no pre-made factory meat. The downsides are the parking and the surroundings.

I ordered a super mixed grill, but the meat had almost no flavor. There were only three types of meat in my order, so I couldn't tell the difference compared to a regular mixed grill. Furthermore, there was little to no salt on the little meat that was in it. The Adana kebab was barely cooked, and there was only one slice of bread. The quality and service are really deteriorating. This was the last time I bought anything there.

I've been coming here for a long time. But lately, the food has gotten really bad. When I pointed this out at the checkout, they defended me by saying the food wasn't bad. This is a place I won't be going back to.

Great food at fair prices. We usually get durum here (on the plate or with a set menu). My wife really likes the crispy fries. We were offered cay after dinner, which was nice. The service at Muntazar is truly excellent; always a smile, hard-working, and respectful! Last time we ate at a kapsalon, but we didn't like it.

Completely disappointing, the food was tasteless and we waited a long time. We ordered beef doner kebab and the meat was pure white, like chicken. When we said there was a mistake, they denied it. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

I ordered a durum menu and an etli ekmek. Both were unseasoned. No salt... the adana could have been grilled a bit longer before serving. And don't forget to provide cutlery; it's easier to eat with cutlery. The service was friendly. However, I didn't like their food. Finally, I had "sütlaç," a kind of rice porridge. I didn't find it very filling; it was too watery, and the sugar content was on the low side.

Durum Evi is really a great place for Turkish food! They have great dürüm (Turkish wraps) with different fillings, from döner to chicken and köfte, always well seasoned and full of flavor. The ingredients are always fresh and the wraps are nicely grilled, which really brings out the flavors. What is also great at Durum Evi are the lahmacun (Turkish pizza) and the gözleme (Turkish stuffed pancake). And of course you can't forget the ayran to finish it off.

What to choose after a long day of Rotje Knor: exotic? Well Turkish is tasty too! Durum Evi came as one of the highest on the list of Turkish restaurants near the Nieuwe Binnenweg. The menu was not full of all kinds of frills, stick to your specialties. I wouldn't buy a tagine at the snack bar, would I?! A mix grill dish and an Iskender, house specialty. But first a soup, made from lentils no less. The soup was creamy and full of flavor, but lacked a somewhat sharply spiced component in the mixture. Anyway, after not too long the soup bowls were picked up and the food delivered. The meat from the mix grill was nice and tender and well seasoned. The Iskender, a dish with bread on top of meat and a sauce of tomato and butter, made the dish complete and packed with flavor. The pity: the employees spoke poor Dutch, which caused a language barrier. Children played around as if I were visiting a large family. It is your restaurant, and my paid visit, I expect everyone to behave properly and the restaurant business to act to keep order in the tent. All in all, a good restaurant with some areas for improvement in the service, the atmosphere to be created and the food to be served.
