Eetcafé Hatenboer in Wijk 09 Maasplassen

On the first visit it was very nice and the food was really tasty. On the second attempt we were ignored until the kitchen had to close (even though only a few tables were occupied). Then we wanted to give it another chance, because you can have a bad day, but we were sent away because it was full (we were standing between three free tables) and the kitchen was going to be closed now (in an hour). Really a shame.

Very cozy, super nice service and the food was simply delicious.

We passed this “campsite restaurant” by chance and with little expectation and the terrace appealed to us to linger. The friendly service and, above all, the dishes (bread with satay chicken and kibbeling) completely convinced us. The interior is also cozy and of high quality, but this is the only point of criticism. Dogs are only allowed in the more uncomfortable “annex”. Unfortunately, you don't have to understand the logic at this point... especially if you're next door to a campsite and campers are usually very fond of dogs.

Very tasty and good value for money

Played with our band last year. Went to say hello and have lunch this week. Great bickering. Cosy, cordial and friendly service.

A wonderful place to stay. Very nice and extremely friendly staff who spoke to us immediately in German, a fantastic view of the marina and a very cozy atmosphere. If you expect first class, you're in the wrong place, but that doesn't mean anything negative. On the contrary, if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city center or relax after the shopping center, this is the place for you. Me and my friend went there to the bingo which was from 22/12.00 we had some soup and bread in the restaurant part first , we seemed to be waiting ages before it came , I liked mine it was tomatoes soup my friend didn't enjoy hers ( she still finished it ) she said it was not very tasty, the little bread buns came with aioli and herb butter they were lovely.we then went into the part where they played the bingo they had saved a place for us .it was quite busy with lots of groups that seemed to be having a nice time .the bingo was called in German and then Dutch , but when someone called bingo the last nummer was not translated into Dutch and as I don't speak German I had to keep asking which nr it was which I found annoying .So if you go to play bingo make sure you can or are with someone that speaks German. The bingo was free ( small gifts like marshmallows and other things we paid €3 for the jackpot , and that's different every time this time it was for €150 .they came around with mini frikandellen in the bingo pause . Don't think I will be going again didn't really feel welcome .

Just good! Steak with pepper sauce & fried potatoes (fortunately no slices from the freezer) - nice fresh salad on the side. Service super nice!! We didn't have to wait for anything or speak to anyone ourselves, they keep a close eye on the guests. View of the harbour Good Price/Quality Tip: We only had a few euros in cash for a tip. We wanted to pin this in, but that wasn't possible. This way they miss out on tips. (Have guests pay their tip by card, take the tip from the cash register and put it in a locked cash box - this way the cash register is still correct at the end of the day - and you can then divide the tip among everyone who worked the same day - or once a month among all employees :-) ♡)

Makes a good impression. Food and value for money are very good. We'd love to come back.

We go there often and really enjoy it. Unfortunately this time the food wasn't warm enough. Nevertheless, we really enjoy visiting this place. We feel very comfortable. The service and the ambience are great.

We did our business trip from the restaurant yesterday. We went out on the Meuse with the Sunliner boats that you can rent there. We had a lot of fun and finally ordered the barbecue in the restaurant. Very very tasty. The service was great. The planning of the whole thing was also great. So uncomplicated and super friendly. Only recommended! Many thanks to Geert and the team!

Inconspicuous from the outside, lovingly and comfortably designed from the inside. If I had to describe the style I would say maritime industrial steampunk ;) very cool The food was excellent and the price-performance ratio was absolutely top! Very friendly staff, we would love to come back!

Nice terrace with a view of the harbor, good service, food like everywhere else, mainly fries and greasy, kibbeling - unfortunately more dough than fish, but large portions.

Das Essen ist genießbar, jedoch war der Hatenboer Salat an für sich gut zusammengefasst und frisch, dann der Schock, da hat der Koch barbecuesoße in Unmengen draufgehauen. Leider macht es den Salt dadurch fast ungenießbar. Der Flammkuchen wird hier leider zur Pizza umfunktioniert, eine Dicke schicht Käse macht das ganze zur Kalorienbombe. Leider ein No-Go. Bei der Ankunft war das Personal sehr unfreundlich, alle Tische sind reserviert, aber frei, nach genauem umgucken habe ich noch einen Tisch frei gefunden, weder abgeräumt noch sauber. Eine andere Mitarbeiterin hat dann Versuch noch etwas zu retten.

Zeer leuke tent om wat te eten en te drinken. Personeel erg vriendelijk en je word goed geholpen.

Sehr schöner Platz. Ist für jeden und alles. Wir zelten dort. Einfach nur schön und nette Leute.

Alles war super bis auf die Pizza (geschmacklich sehr schlecht) aber die Bürger und der Rest waren super. Da passte auch der Preis ( nur eben nicht 9€ für eine kleine Magherita die nicht sehr lecker war). Service war super freundlich und essen war schön angerichtet. Kommen definitiv wieder.

Pyszne hamburgery 😃no i fryteczki w zestawie też niczego sobie jeszcze tam kiedyś podjadę.

Wir haben dort öfter zu Abend gegessen, sehr leckeres Essen, unheimlich nette Bedienungen und alles zu erschwinglichen Preisen.

Heel gezellig eetcafe met uitzicht op de haven hatenboer. Vorige winter is het interieur volledig vernieuwd en zeer gezellig en mooi geworden. Het eten is erg goed en ook betaalbaar. Het team is erg vriendelijk en gastvrij. Zeker het bezoeken waard als je in de buurt van de maasplassen bent!

Wie immer gut , freundliches Personal und immer gute Stimmung.

Eine echte Bereicherung für den Campingplatz. 👍( Die 4 Sterne bei Ambiente sind der Lautstärke geschuldet. )

Total beruhigend, dort mit Blick auf den Hafen einen Wein zu genießen. Gegessen haben wir nicht, aber was dort serviert wurde, sah gut und reichlich aus.

Nette und zügige Bedienung, Preise OK und leckere Sachen.

Essen sehr gut und ausreichende Portion en und nicht zu teuer, Bedienung sehr freundlich und mann muss nicht lange warten .Das mann nah am Wasser sitzt, bringt eine schöne Atmosphäre

Das ist eine Brasserie die echt Spaß macht, absolut tolles Preis - Leistungsverhältnis und super engagiertes Service Personal und aufmerksame Chefin. Lage direkt an der Marina mit den schönen Booten und Yachten einfach toll. Nebenan ist auch ein Campingplatz der wohls sehr gut frequentiert ist. Hier werden wir bei zukünftigen Wochenendtrips gerne wieder einkehren 👍🤗
