Eetcafé Het Bruin Cafe in Oosterwolde

During our visit to Oosterwolde, we ended up at BC Caffee, a cozy little restaurant right in the middle of Oosterwolde's shopping center. We hadn't made a reservation, so we could only get a spot on the terrace. Because of Father's Day, all the tables inside were already reserved. We enjoyed the satay special and the steak; both dishes were excellent in taste. Moreover, the price-quality ratio is very good. The waitress was friendly, efficient, and hospitable, which made the experience even more pleasant. If we visit Oosterwolde again, we will definitely come back here. Highly recommended!

The very best steak in the area, but the satay is also highly recommended. We love eating here.

Friendly welcome, then present at a distance, visible, accessible, knows what guests want, forward-thinking. Had a delicious meal. The fish was delicious. Good value for money. Nice eatery.

The best steaks in Ooststellingwerf, and perhaps even in Friesland, highly recommended.

Delicious Beef Tenderloin with Sambal 👍🏻

We'd heard a few things about the delicious steaks served here, so we had to try them, and it was definitely not an exaggeration. We had a truly fantastic steak! And the fries and salad that came with it were also delicious. We'll definitely eat here again!

Very nice and clean cafe, you won't find a better steak anywhere! Cozy atmosphere, very friendly staff. Highly recommended if you're in Oosterwolde.

Had such a delicious meal again today. As always, the food is excellent. I highly recommend the number 1 steak. It was so delicious, and the service is always top-notch. Thank you again! 👍👍

A quiet cafe in Oosterwolde. The ladies working were very friendly and served quickly. The food was good.

I love coming here with my wife and son for a drink, either inside at the cozy bar or outside on the terrace. The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is great.

Super delicious food, friendly service. In short: nothing to complain about, we'll definitely be back!

Loetje can pack her bags! This is the best steak I've had in a long time! There's also a really nice atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

The waitress was too lazy to set up a table on the terrace (which only had five tables). We weren't allowed inside (understandably, because of our dogs).

Nice and friendly staff. Very tasty food.

We can't comment on the food since we never made it that far! Situation: 2 people with 2 small dogs. The terrace is full—that is, the five tables on a terrace that can seat three times as many. It's 6:15 pm, and the chairs are already stacked, even though the kitchen is advertised as open until 9 pm. We politely ask if we can bring the dogs inside, but they're not. We understand. So we ask if we can still go out on the terrace, and NO. Even though they could easily have made a table available. Service is a complete zero.

A wonderful cafe serving the best steak you've ever had. The satay is also highly recommended, with its homemade Moluccan satay sauce. The owner serves it herself, so seating is limited, but rightly so. Friendly and fast service. I'll be back!

What a great place! We had a truly delicious meal here (Bali steak), and my boyfriend is a chef, so he knows what he's talking about. Afterward, we relaxed at the bar. The atmosphere is great, and the people are super friendly. We recommend everyone to go there. Love, Johan and Marja

We had dinner at "het Bruin Cafe" last Sunday. What a surprise! The food was excellent and fresh, the service very friendly, and the atmosphere beautiful. All in all, highly recommended. We'll definitely be back!

What a cozy tent. No loud music, delicious food, good fries, tasty satay. (Very) enthusiastic waitress, but well-intentioned.

Delicious food and attractive decor. The service was perfect.

Good food and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere

Nice 'brown cafe' atmosphere, friendly and very attentive service and a very nice menu. Recommended Beef tenderloin Bali with a choice of spicy, extra spicy or spicier. DELICIOUS! Complete with super fries and white bread for the gravy. Happy 😋

What a great cafe! Accidentally ended up here on a Sunday evening. It was not busy and even a bit 'uncanny' upon entering. But that quickly changed due to the excellent, attentive and friendly service. The food was generously portioned and excellent in quality, freshness and taste. Toilet spotless and fully equipped, such as paper towels (I think it's important, because it's more hygienic than those horrible blowers). The price is also very reasonable in relation to the excellent quality; so absolutely great! I think the atmosphere/decor could be more decorated, but it shouldn't spoil the fun. Overall impression is more than excellent. This will be my permanent address in the area!

Delicious food. Steak was cooked exactly to your liking. Service was perfectly fine. Price quality was great. Definitely come back.

Delicious food and super friendly staff. The portions were absolutely perfect so that we could do all the courses, before, main and after. Highly recommended.

Heerlijk gegeten in onze vakantie.

Super kok ! Gezellig en lief personeel !

Hier heerlijk gegeten echt een aanrader en super vriendelijk personeel wij komen zeker weer

Heerlijk gegeten, gezellige zaak. Goede Prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Bediening is top.

Aanrader.

Super bediening, heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Summer sharing bord was tiptop inorde.

Erg lang moeten wachten totdat we geserveerd werden.

Supergoede biefstuk :-) best in town!

Eten is heerlijk. Een aanrader dus om heen te gaan....

Goede sfeer, vriendelijke bediening, lekker eten.

Beide keren heerlijk mals vlees, echt super!
