Very customer-friendly restaurant with excellent cuisine. When the main course was presented poorly, it was resolved well, and because of this, we returned 14 days later and went home feeling satisfied.

We had a delicious meal in a nice atmosphere.

Nice restaurant right in the city center. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food, as we only had one beer 🤷. We were just passing through on our bikes.

We had a delicious lunch, including one vegetarian option with soup, a cheese croquette, a fried egg with cheese, and additional raw vegetables and brie with honey. Finished off with nuts. The burrata was also very tasty with good red pesto on delicious bread, plenty of raw vegetables, sun-dried tomatoes, and sunflower seeds. Everything was taken care of down to the finest details and presented very tastefully and with care. The service was also very pleasant. A restaurant to return to! Top notch!

The mussels were very disappointing, also in terms of taste; broken shells and a lot of empty ones! Unworthy of JenJ. The nice young man who served wanted to make up for it by bringing another small portion. I didn't need that.

On a Saturday evening, we just managed to snag a spot on the street-side terrace without a reservation. We enjoyed a delicious dinner. Although we took the campsite brochure instead of the discount coupon, we still received the 7.50 discount. Class. Due to the heat, we sat outside, which meant the traffic sometimes came across as annoying. Hence the 3 stars for atmosphere.

We had asked for a nice table: it was our 47th wedding anniversary... Perfect! Table 2. The most beautiful table there is. Service and friendliness: perfect! Dessert was brought with a nice surprise, plus being serenaded by three staff members. It was a very pleasant and well-cared-for meal. A name to remember!

We recently had a delicious meal on a lovely Friday evening at the cozy Eetcafé Jansen & Jansen. We opted for the 'Round of the Menu' menu, and for us, the 3 starters, 3 main courses, and 3 desserts (p.p.) were a true treat and more than enough. Furthermore, compliments to the friendly and attentive service, typically Achterhoek...

Spontaneous, efficient service. The starter was absolutely delicious. Definitely worth repeating.

Hengelo, Gelderland, is buzzing with hospitality venues. It is always lively and busy there.

We had a delicious meal. For the main course, we had a stuffed chicken breast and a salmon fillet. Perfectly cooked with a crispy coating. Served with tasty vegetables, a fresh salad, and fried potatoes. For dessert, a Dame Blanche and a strawberry coupe were also excellent, with delicious whipped cream and fresh fruit. Nice, efficient service with an eye for the customer.

For us, it is a treat to go eat there; the atmosphere, service, everything is perfect.

We dined here with a party of 8. Excellent service, pleasant atmosphere, and tasty food. Bread with dips, the main course, and dessert were sufficient together with the fries and salad. A nice selection of several red and white wines. A big plus for us. A salt and pepper shaker on the table would have been nice.

Very pleasant for a bite to eat or a drink; exceptionally hospitable and friendly staff; nothing is too much trouble for them and they do everything to make you feel comfortable; the quality is simply good. In the summer, we regularly come here on our Vespas; a nice ride from Dieren. Janssen and that other Jansen, keep up the good work.

We had a really bad experience. The food was delicious, but the ending was a bit unpleasant! Our son—it's a miracle he's still alive—had terrible years and uncertain times (thankfully, he's no longer in a wheelchair!) was laughed at by two men and two women! "What fun," I said! It's absolutely fantastic here. We went for dinner twice last weekend, staying overnight in Zutphen. What a wonderfully friendly place with a team that radiates joy. This team works so hard. The food is fantastic and very affordable.

Had a delicious lunch today. I had a chicken pesto grilled cheese sandwich, and my mom had a brie grilled cheese sandwich. Both tasted great. We also both had a cappuccino, which was also very good. The price was good, too. There was a great atmosphere, and the staff were friendly. Highly recommended.
