Best is the area ( especially the sateh ), and friendly staff

We had lunch here this afternoon. The weather was nice, so we thought it would be nice to sit on the patio. People were smoking at other tables, and yes, the staff even handed out ashtrays. The atmosphere was instantly gone... The BBQ burger I ordered was perfectly grilled, but it was a shame the BBQ burger sauce was served in a separate container. Now I have to open the burger to add a little sauce, otherwise it would have been a bit dry. All in all, I think I'll walk to the other corner of the street next time for a smoke-free patio.

Went for lunch a few weeks ago. The staff takes their time to come by with a menu, take orders, etc. It can happen. Busy? Who knows. We came back today. We sat down on the terrace. This time the staff came quite quickly to ask if we wanted something to drink. We indicated that we would also like to have lunch. 10 minutes later the coffee and tea arrived, without a menu. We had to ask another staff member for the menu a few minutes later. Another 15 minutes later, and no staff comes to take a look. The coffee and tea had already been consumed a long time ago. The service comes across as very unprofessional. Both times. Very unfortunate. The food itself is very good. Nothing to complain about.

They have the best chocolate milk with real chocolate drops which melt in hot milk. I can definitely recommend a visit!

We had a good meal at Meesters en Juffen with a menu a la diner. Spareribs were very tender! Children's portion of spare ribs also more than enough for a 9-year-old. Nice atmosphere and good service!

Had a lovely meal outside on the terrace. The food is delicious and you get a well-filled sandwich! Also for the kids regular sprinkles, jam or peanut butter sandwiches for a nice price!

Wat een gezellig etentje had moeten worden na een leuke dag, werd een teleurstelling de sate was droog en taai, kortom niet te eten. Sfeer en bediening prima, eten helaas niet.

Had the 2024 work Christmas drinks here with delicious beers and snacks. Not everything that was on the menu was actually there. Had a nice afternoon, nice place and nice staff.

Good morning atmosphere and nice staff. My preference is the 12 hour or pans of mushrooms in garlic. Delicious.

Ate here for the first time. Family member with wheelchair, this has been taken into account! You have to have some patience on a busy evening, but the food is good!

Menu on website is half a hair behind. A lot of noise with many visitors. Quality and quantity excellent food. Too bad you have to pay extra for potatoes if you don't want fries. Also adjust the beer list and perhaps supplement it with regional beers

We came in around 1:30 PM and sat at a "dirty" table. Not noticed by the lady working in the bar. Not noticed by wait staff. There were only dirty tables. The waitress walked by with a handheld and had an eye for the bar and nothing else. Still shifted to a table that had just been emptied (without HE seeing us, 2 meters away). After 5 minutes we left and had a great lunch at 't Dorrup, although I had to wave there to get someone to sit at the table.

Last night after work I had a nice... I mean delicious meal! Even the other visitors were very pleasant and up for a chat about the Heemskerker festival week! Very friendly and cooperative staff!

High tea done. Was very tasty! Delicious savory sandwiches with bacon, melted brie and carpaccio. The mini croquettes were also tasty! Also delicious sweets, including scones with clotted cream, red velvet cake. Service was top notch, very friendly and helpful.

It is a nice place, very cozy and the food is also tasty and if you want an egg sandwich you can have that too, and a sandwich is also possible, good quality, something for everyone

Had dinner here last night, really delicious! We had not made a reservation but were received very enthusiastically. Sweet potato soup, onion soup, satay, pork tenderloin and the starters; everything was beautifully served and super fresh. Big compliment for your attentive service and hospitality!!!

Masters & Teachers can still learn something themselves…. Sometimes things can go wrong, but from the first drink to dessert everything went wrong. Drinks took 20 minutes, recording the starter and main course took 40 minutes, after the starter we got the menu card for dessert, maybe we should still get the main course?! Then the main course is served at the wrong table, which can happen, another 40 minute wait. Then I ordered a dessert, hoping so to speak, unfortunately there was a mistake in the kitchen, then three tables that ordered later got their dessert..... a cup of tea in between again for fifteen minutes.... this was a good learning experience for me.

Pleasant lunch, ambiance is fantastic. If you can enjoy that together with your descendants who are also teachers, you will also see a lot of school things from years ago

We hebben heerlijk gegeten. Grote hoeveelheid het was vers, mals vlees viel van het bot af en twee stukken zeebaars met daaronder lekkere groentes erbij. Apart nog patat met sla. Vriendelijke bediening.

The carpaccio and salmon were delicious and noticeably fresh. Large portions, but you have to wait a little too long for your drinks.

Great tent! Delicious, good and affordable food (read: nice quality-quantity ratio). Cozy atmosphere, nice staff and tasty beers on tap. Definitely seasonal beers (now bock 😋). In addition, plenty of choice in snacks/appetizers and portions that are not too large. Ideal, tasty and... nicely presented! Always nice to see (the eye wants something too 😉). We were here last week and that is why we come back here regularly. M&J, has the whole package! Update 1: service is still just as good. Also delicious snacks for drinks and nicely presented too 😊. Update 2: Visited again after months and had a nice, nice and comfortable time at the bar with the three of us. Tasty snacks and delicious drinks on tap. The service is and always remains great here and with a smile. What else do you want!

Had my 50th birthday dinner here last night. Service was great and they really take into account if you don't like something. She was surprised to hear that I don't like chocolate 😁 Even fireworks as a surprise with dessert. Both my mother and I really enjoyed the delicious food.

Eerder ok gegeten.Nu na een tijdje weer geprobeerd.Redelijk snel wijn en karaf water op tafel.Daarna niets meer !Vijf man personeel voor zes tafels.Na ong. 25 contact kunnen krijgen met kletsend en telefoonkijkende bediening.na bestelling toch weer een tijd wachten,nogmaals slechts zes tafels!Mosselen van mijn vrouw waren opgewarmd, je rook ze al halverwege het restaurant!Mijn flat iron ok,garnituur was van twee dagen geleden!Aangeboden wijn ,mondeling,zonder wijnkaart ook er flauw.Dit was de laatste keer!!!!

We had a delicious and enjoyable meal. Satay was wonderfully tender and the spareribs were buttery. So have fun messing around. Ice cream with coffee and tea.

Had dinner with a group of 10 on a Saturday. Two ladies are vegan. We had pointed this out when booking, and Maaike and her sister knew something about it. It turned out that a complete vegan surprise menu had been specially put together for the ladies! So they could eat all courses with us. No half-dressed/adapted dishes, but a completely unique dinner. Big big big compliment! This is the first restaurant in the area where I have experienced this! In addition, a cheerful and pleasant hostess. This made it a very successful and enjoyable evening. Gogogo Masters and Teachers!!! I hope to see you soon.

Had dinner here with 9 people on Sunday evening. Had a really nice evening. With beautiful and delicious food that was all served at the same time by friendly and helpful staff.

Heerlijk gegeten en het nagerecht...... hmmmm. Helemaal vol en voldaan weer naar huis.

Mijn vriendin had soep met brood dat ze erg lekker vond en ik had Mosterdsoep met zalm. Dat was ook erg lekker. Zou het wel bijna iedere dag lusten zo lekker dat de soepen waren

Het is jammer dat het eten heel erg zout smaakt en als je naar zoutarme gerechten vraagt er niet veel aandacht voor is. Bij grotere gezelschappen worden de dagmenu's niet voor iedereen duidelijk gemaakt omdat het 1x gezegd wordt op de kopse kant van de tafel.

Lekker gewoon. Top sevice en vriendelijke bediening. Als je in Heemskerk bent en goede sfeer wil ervaren dan is dit de plek to be...

Afgelopen zondag met zijn 4en wezen eten. Ondanks de drukte alle tijd voor de klanten. Super lekker gegeten. Bediening was top en de koks hebben ons eten echt heerlijk gemaakt

Very nice food, friendly staff that can speak English. The staff is always on hand to assist foreign clients and make sure that they understand what's on the menu and the atmosphere is great.

Hele tijd niet geweest, werd heel hartelijk ontvangen en soort welkom thuis geheten. Heel erg leuk. De gastvrijheid en het eten waren als vanouds super👍

Arrived and placed at table. After 10 minutes finally asked what to drink. We also asked for the card. Told that would come later. Not sure why but obviously server was controlling something. Menu ok. After yet another 15 minutes or so finally ordered. Starter nice and well presented. Main course wait another 30 minutes after finishing starter. my main was sate. Suspected meat undercooked. Assured it was fine. After main offered desert menu. 25 minutes later server finally came to take order. On asking why delay she stated had to sort the beer pump. We did not order dessert as wait too long Overal terrible service by female staff member she had no idea about customer service. Maybe move to McDonald’s lady. Next day severe food poisoning and ill for 2 days. Please ask staff in kitchen to stop wiping nose and wash hands. Kitchen staff touched their phones faces etc and not once did I observe hand hygiene. Won’t be back for sure. Please spend some time on staff training especially the serving lady. She is not representing your restaurant well loved going here but never again.

Wij hebben hier samen heerlijk gedineerd. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk. Het eten was fantastisch! Je krijgt echt waar voor je geld. Het eten was meer dan genoeg en goed geprijsd
