We had dinner for two on Saturday evening; one person felt very nauseous upon arriving home. Furthermore, I saw the waitress drop a tube of mayonnaise on the floor and then just put it back down among the fries... and after paying, I noticed that two drinks were listed on our bill for the table next to us.. I tried to get in touch twice by leaving a voicemail (Bonnie) but received no response.. too bad!

Time for coffee with. The warm apple cake was delicious. Under the foliage of the terrace, you sat nicely out of the sun.

Small special fries 6.25! Tasteless. Never again.

Slow service, lukewarm food and poorly cut meat, very mediocre vegetables (a corn cob cut into three pieces for three adults), a small bowl of fries for three people. No longer recommended.

Yesterday, we had a bite to eat here with 16 colleagues. Unfortunately, this was a one-off for us; it came across to us that the place was completely unable to handle us coming with such a large group. Regarding service, we weren't asked often enough if we wanted something to drink. Additionally, it took an eternity before our starter arrived (we were seated at 6 o'clock and at 8 o'clock we still hadn't received anything). Then it took a very long time again before we got our main course (9:30), and by the time we got to dessert, it was 10:30. After complaining several times about whether the food was on its way, we noticed the staff were getting very irritated; they were busy with other things instead of serving drinks to the customers. The excuse was that there were only two of them working, there was no dishwasher present, and they had to do it themselves. The dessert was served while the table was still full of our main course. Unfortunately, the food wasn't very good either, and several dishes were left uneaten. All in all, we enjoyed each other's company, but the rest of the evening was very disappointing.

We were having a nice meal with a group of colleagues, but it took a very long time for the food to arrive. We arrived at 6:00 PM and didn't get our main course until after 9:00 PM, and dessert at 10:00 PM. Drinks also had to be requested, otherwise nothing was served. The smaller tables arrived later and were served their food on time. It is a cozy place, but unfortunately totally unsuitable for larger groups.

We were the first to order this delicious Torre. Nice and beautiful to look at... ideal if you're in the mood but don't want too much, with 4 tasty cocktails. 2 pp (with the option to make it alcohol-free).

What a wonderful experience this was. We really enjoyed the meal at this establishment in Heemskerk. Everything was perfectly taken care of and the atmosphere was just right for a relaxed evening out. The dishes looked beautiful on the wooden boards, every single one of them. The steak, in particular, was top-quality and prepared exactly to our liking, with a tasty corn on the cob as an original addition. The variety of salads was also very much to our liking. It is clear that the work here is done with care. We will certainly be back soon for another fine meal like this. Highly recommended for everyone in the area.

In addition to grilled dishes (which likely makes you think mainly of meat), Het Dorrup also has plenty of vegetarian and fish options on the menu. There is a large heated terrace that can be covered, and inside, a cozy, slightly dim atmosphere. Good chairs and also tables with a 'wall bench'. Friendly, informal service.

We ate here yesterday and were greeted by a very enthusiastic man upon arrival. He led us to our table, which turned out to have been poorly cleaned. Before we knew it, he ran to get a cloth and fixed it immediately! We were then helped by a woman who immediately took our coats and took our drinks. The atmosphere and ambiance are really pleasant in this restaurant, and I think the owners are very kind to the staff! The food was okay, but we've had better. We both had the carpaccio, which is served with pesto, which can be quite dangerous as it can quickly become overpowering. Unfortunately, this was also the case here, as the carpaccio itself, which was really good, was drowned out by the pesto. I had the mixed grill, and the chicken and pork tenderloin were truly superb. The steak was a bit small but very tasty, and the spare ribs were excellent. I had the mushroom sauce with it, but I was disappointed because it didn't have many mushrooms. My wife had the spareribs and specifically asked if they were spicy, to which she was told they weren't really spicy, but mild. Unfortunately, it was spicier than mild, but the meat itself was really good and tender! For dessert, we both had the brownie with a scoop of ice cream. We asked for vanilla ice cream instead of orange, and that was absolutely no problem. I'm so glad we asked because this vanilla ice cream is truly the best I've ever had! Because of Valentine's Day, the place was beautifully decorated, and the host walked around with a Polaroid camera taking pictures of the couples and pasting them on a cute card! All in all, a very nice place, with excellent service, but with a few areas for improvement!

First visit to Het Dorrup restaurant Heemskerk. Pleasant and atmospheric, and we had an excellent meal. Friendly service and short wait times made it go very quickly. Visited Het Dorrup last Wednesday for the fourth time. It was a great experience. I've added Het Dorrup to my list for a long time. Last Sunday I went on a comeback tour. I had a lovely, enjoyable evening and will definitely be back. The quality of the food is good and so is the atmosphere. Good luck and see you soon!

Went here for the first time with my wife and mother-in-law. The food was very good and the staff was friendly. We sat on the outdoor terrace. We started at 6:00 PM and finished at 9:30 PM. We even asked for dessert. Inside, the staff was very active, but outside, we had a very long wait for our food. Drinks were only asked when we received them. We actually wanted to leave after the main course because it was taking so long. I think 3.5 hours for a meal is a long time with only 2/3 drinks. Perhaps a tip would be to have some active service outside, just like inside.

I've been there several times and it's always fantastic. A wide menu and delicious food at a reasonable price. Very friendly staff. It's in a great location right in the city center.

Great atmosphere and top service, excellent quality and a well stocked drinks menu, also their own beer, very tasty and a beautiful terrace.

Unfortunately it went wrong with my nightshade allergy, the garlic butter contains a chili pepper and this was not communicated well. The meat was great, but there was only 1 piece of corn and since I can't eat potatoes or the salad it was very meager. Melon is not a nightshade and was on the others.

Been there before then it was fine. Unfortunately this time not a good experience. Ordering the first drink went well and came quickly, then ordering food also went smoothly. Unfortunately after that it stagnated. We waited more than 70 minutes for our food and finally asked if it was ready after this time. Waitress came back after asking, it turned out to be just on the grill, so again we had to wait a while. Actually we were inclined to leave but then they just arrived with our food. I really think we were forgotten, unfortunately no excuse for this either, that would have been nice or perhaps a free drink as compensation. Also at that moment we could only order our second drink, we also asked for this ourselves because this question did not come from the waitress in these 70 minutes. Very unfortunate! It was not that it was incredibly busy, even then it would not have been okay but then you can still understand a little that sometimes the overview is lost. Unfortunately I can do nothing else than give this feedback.

Heerlijke high wine gedaan bij het dorrup. Goede wijnen. Aardige staff en lekkere hapjes erbij. Ik ben geen mega vlees eter dus voor mij was het iets te veel vlees erbij. Ik miste nog iets vegetarisch of iets van een broodje met een smeersel. Maar dat is puur smaak natuurlijk.

Today for the first and also for the last time. The service clearly didn't feel like it today. Asked for tea and the lunch menu. The tea was brought, we were ignored by the service even though the table next to us was being served. When the tea was finished we paid for it and didn't order anything for lunch. Unfortunately we won't be coming back here.

We were pleasantly surprised after a visit to this restaurant. Friendly welcome and a cozy atmosphere, the buzz of the guests sounds pleasantly through the room. People laugh, talk, you hear glasses clinking and people enjoy the ordered food and drinks. Wonderful, no overpowering music! What a relief. The staff moves deftly between the tables, they each know their job, each with their own tables. Behind the bar is a young lady making drinks and cocktails, very focused and apparently having fun. For someone like me, with NAH, it can often be very tiring to eat in a restaurant, but here it was very manageable, compliments! We will definitely come back.

Had a great time with 7 people at High Wine. We've done it a few times in the past. This time it was a huge disappointment. We started at 4:00 PM and were done with the 5-course meal at 9:00 PM. I think we walked up to the staff 3 times to ask if the next course could come through. In between, we ordered drinks at the bar to kill time. At the end of the evening, nothing was compensated, which was actually a disappointment. The food was of good quality, but it didn't flow smoothly and the young staff was a bit too nonchalant towards our group. Again, the dishes are good, I would come back for that. But with the serving staff, who when there's nothing to do, stand around talking to each other and see us sitting there and don't take any action, no thank you. Then I don't want Het Dorrup anymore. Too bad because it used to be good, but the quality of the staff has dropped considerably.

Today my review is going down a bit for the village, look, the food is good, a bit pricey, but that doesn't matter. What really bothers me is the following. When I sit down to eat here alone, my main course comes with a bowl of fries. Well, I recently had dinner here with 4 people, and everyone chose fries with their main course. Now 4 of us have to make do with the same bowl of fries. I immediately order fries because this is definitely too short. But on the receipt €5 for extra fries. Oh yes, and the Zaanse mini mayo looks nice. But it is far too little. I doubt I will go here again after this experience. Not because of the 5 euros but purely because of the principle, I really don't think this is possible

Nice meal. Beef tataki and main course slowly cooked meat. Was some kind of hash. Was explained as some kind of steak when we asked what it was.... Wonderfully tender. But if it had been explained more clearly I wouldn't have taken this. Also a lot of fruit. Melon pineapple and stewed pear. I don't like fruit with hot food. But a nice meal! Nice red wine with it. Ate here tonight for the first time, ordered Dorrup plank 2.0 smoked rib eye? Rib eye carpaccio? Tried it on it but it tasted very spoiled, she said at the end of the evening she had to consult with the cook, later I ate a satay (2p), rotten, dry, a lot of satay sauce, Slow & Low cooked pork belly, very cold, also not satisfied... Lady said at the end of this evening I will pass it on to the chef!! Astonished after the bill, never again for us, just pass this on to the chef... Also at the end of the evening?

Wij wilden ons eens lekker laten verwennen en te vieren omdat wij nu sinds een week samenwonen in het gezellige dorp Heemskerk. Voorgerechten waren prima, het hoofdgerecht van de grill, SLOW AND LOW* BBQ in zijn puurste vorm! Mooie stukken vlees, gemarineerd in onze huisgemaakte rub, viel zwaar tegen. Beetje vlees en een enorme bonk met vet. Mee bekend dat het vlees meer vet bevat dan een biefstuk maar dit was echt waardeloos. Dit was zo’n enorme teleurstelling dit kun je niet serveren, Gordon Ramsay, had het direct in de prullenbak gegooid. De bediening, zulke lieve meiden, hebben het enorm goed opgelost. Kreeg een nieuw bord met hetzelfde vlees en minder vet er aan. Wel jammer dat de chef-kok niet even aan tafel kwam om het uit te leggen. Volgende keer maar iets nemen waarmee ik al bekend mee ben, biefstuk of vis. Uiteindelijk heeft men het gerecht voor de helft in rekening gebracht. Ondanks deze tegenvaller maar door deze tegemoetkoming en goede service, komen wij zeker terug. Wij hebben al met al toch een hele gezellige avond gehad in dit sfeervolle restaurant.

Eat here regularly, always good. Unfortunately, this time we had to ask for cutlery for both the starter sandwich and the main course. And we received a wrong off-the-cuff explanation about the wine. Shame.

Tried it again today, but for well-grilled pork tenderloin satay, I'll eat somewhere else "together" next time... Let me state that the service practices their profession with skill and love. The "chef" however... Another story. Had the same experience a few months ago, pork tenderloin satay, sent back to the stove raw (at least not cooked). And the same chef was not amused. He threw the meat back on the grill and looked at me with a look that could kill. If only I had done that with the meat, I thought at the time. Undercooked again today, unfortunately I found out after I had already taken two bites. Result, back to the stove, partner could eat alone and after 15 minutes I got my dish. Too bad, because this is not an advertisement for the kitchen or the "chef" on duty. We did receive a drink from the waiter, so compliments for this club. Does the chef on duty prepare stews? Then you at least know whether the product is done...

Vandaag wederom eens geprobeerd, maar voor goed gegrilde varkenshaas saté, toch maar de volgende keer ergens anders "samen" eten... Laat ik vooropgesteld houden dat de bediening hun vak met kunde en liefde uitoefenen. De "chef" echter... Een andere verhaal. Een paar maanden geleden hetzelfde meegemaakt, saté van varkenshaas, rauw (in ieder geval niet gaar) terug naar de kachel gestuurd. En dezelfde kok was not ammused. Hij kwakte het vlees terug op de grill en keek mij aan met een blik die kon doden. Had dat maar met het vlees gedaan, dacht ik toen. Vandaag wederom niet gaar, helaas kwam ik er achter nadat ik al twee happen had genomen. Gevolg, terug naar de kachel, partner kon alleen eten en na 15 minuten kreeg ik mijn gerecht. Sneu, want dit is geen reclame voor de keuken of dienstdoende "chef". Wel een drankje van de bediening gekregen, daarom complimenten voor deze club. Of de kok van dienst inzet op stoofgerechtjes? Dan weet je tenminste of het product gaar is...

Hier 2 weken gelden gegeten. De rosé en de tonijn smaakte prima. Bediening was top. Jammer dat het rustig was. Het was vakantietijd. Parkeren kan in de buurtcen is gratis. Het Dorrup is een leuke plek en een aanrader

Prima locatie, eten erg smakelijk en leuk opgemaakt voor presentatie, maar wat is er mis met een bord ipv. Een plank? Bediening rommelig, ze hebben het heel gezellig met elkaar, maar hebben naar mijn mening wel aansturing nodig, iedereen doet maar wat.regelmatig toch maar even iemand roepen, voor een drankje of kaart? Bij nagerecht 2 personen reeds klaar en 3 andere zaten nog te wachten? Jammer, anders 5 sterren

It would actually have been a nice evening. Unfortunately there was plastic in the salad - that can happen - but the reaction was “I’ll tell the chef” without any further reaction or apology. Even when asked, the response was succinct: “Something must have come into it during the preparation”. Overall, the service was “cool”, not very empathetic and could not deal with our problem adequately. Didn't feel good. The rest of the dishes were ok. Price - performance too.

A very attractive restaurant right in the center of Heemskerk. You can eat and drink both indoors and outdoors (covered). The beer list is excellent, size choice on tap. There is nothing wrong with the menu either, wide choice. The Dorrup plank with the starters was very tasty. The mixed grill of meat from the main menu was also perfect, as was the sea bass from the specials. The desserts were also very tasty! Service was perfect, we regularly asked if everything was okay. Worth repeating.

The starter had aioli but no bread Then the main course that was really bad, the chicken satay was very dry and the fries were salty with fries and we ordered mayonnaise and we received a bowl of ketchup with mayonnaise. This indicated that the only thing that could be done was an apology, but we simply lost more than 180 euros for bad food for 5 people The chairs were also not comfortable and the table was so small that you could not keep your hands above the table otherwise there would be things on the floor and you would also have to wait almost 2 hours for bad food again. Unfortunately had a High Wine here. I honestly can't say anything good about it. The food was bizarrely poor. A sausage platter with cheese for 4 people. It would have been better served on a saucer as there was barely anything on it. I don't expect much either, but a bit of decoration for a drink board is normal. In addition, wines that were not cold at all and were not pleasant and also said nothing at all about the wine. After the sausage platter we were served fish that was burnt. After indicating that it was really bad, I thought maybe we would get good food again, but they only gave a 20% discount on the voucher. All in all I had a very bad experience here.

Recently had a very good meal with 6 people. Clear explanation of the extensive menu and pleasant service. Definitely an address to remember. Highly recommended!

Had a high wine several times, had one again last night, but the service was really bad. Received the food first and the wine 5 minutes later. We often have to encourage the waiter to ask if we would like to go to the next round. Were not closely monitored. Don't know if I will come again next time for a high wine. And during the first round it was not explained what it was.

What our party had eaten was all delicious, From fish to meat, served with the utmost care. The fries (with skin) were wonderfully crispy with small tubes of Zaanse mayonnaise. The desserts were also delicious. The Dorrup, warmly recommended.

A little gem in Heemskerk. They practice what they preach; cozy, attentive and friendly place to be in town. Great place to have a delicious meal or just a cup of coffee. I visit them regular mostly for a cup of coffee while I was really poorly (had issues talking and walking).Their kindness and attentiveness really helped a lot. If you want good food and a great atmosphere I advise you to visit Het Dorrup. You certainly won't be disappointed

Just ordered pork tenderloin satay twice... delicious, peanut sauce nice and spicy and everything delivered hot... fries in their skins were very tasty. This reminded me of the past when you could order satay at Sante in the seaside neighborhood... Definitely worth repeating and will soon be able to eat on site.

Gosh this was bad. The dorrup plank, how dare you serve that. It looked like you were eating toppings, no coherence at all and just thrown onto a shelf. If you say something about it, it will be laughed off. Also waited an hour between dishes. Never again, too bad!
