Yesterday, we went out for dinner with 4 men from the other side. Great place. After the food was ordered and the first drinks were served, we consulted with the owner and made a spot available especially for us to eat outside in this cozy street instead of inside. The only points for improvement: glasses and cups do tip over and break easily. Later in the evening, we went back for a final drink. Wendy, a very dedicated hostess.

A hidden "gem" in the centre of Medemblik. Just off the main road and somewhat hidden is "Tijdloos". They serve nice food for a very reasonable price. The place formally was more of a bar (with a counter and bar stools) but gradually changed to a small restaurant. The owner is the cook and he operates on only 2 square metres, perparing honest food. Don't expect anything fancy, just very well perpared food which tastes lovely. Is it worth your visit.... ABSOLUTELY....

What a fantastic restaurant this is! As the name suggests, the service is truly like the good old days! Delicious food and super friendly staff, everything is reasonably priced. A wonderfully cozy atmosphere—not crowded, yet very inviting. The decor and interior are also meticulously crafted, a real treat. Definitely recommended!

What a wonderfully fun and, above all, delicious restaurant. It takes you right back to the seventies. The decor is delightfully retro. The ladies' restroom is bright pink. A guilty pleasure of the owner. The service is fantastic, very friendly, and welcoming, with a generous smile and kind words. The food is absolutely delicious. The tenderloin was buttery-soft and the fries were delicious. My dinner companions had carpaccio as a starter and were pleasantly surprised by the refinement. Luckily, our son lives in Medemblik, so we'll definitely be back. Timeless, highly recommended!

Not worth repeating. It took 1.5 hours!! before we got our food. The meat tasted fishy (same pan?). The food was only passable. Very loud conversation at the bar.

We had a wonderful meal on the patio tonight. Friendly staff. And the "Tijdloos" theme was really funny. The LPs and cassettes were a real hit. The women's restroom also had a delicious, sweet rosé. 🩷 I love it. Thank you for this wonderful evening.

We were seated quickly, as there was only room outside, which wasn't a problem in this weather. We ordered drinks and were immediately told that the food might take a little longer, as it was busy. The man was cooking fantastically in a small kitchen, so no problem at all. The restroom is a special experience for the ladies, but I'd like to see the pink toilet paper come back. If the ladies prefer a decorated restroom, then the men would like it too. So, plenty of reason to come back again. The food was fantastic and the service was top-notch!

Excellent restaurant! Very nice service, nice atmosphere, lots of games for children. Long waiting time (approx. 1 hour) but fabulous food. I recommend the Stoofpotje (stew)

What a wonderful place to eat, going back in time, menu on an LP adapted to the Christmas atmosphere. The bill in a box that used to contain a cassette tape. The service was enthusiastic and the food delicious. Top!!!

Lovely cafe with friendly and cheerful service. The quality of the food was excellent and fresh and the chef clearly knows what he is doing and can do. We had a delicious meal there (Iberico rib fingers and a stew). The menu was really what I expected from a cafe. If I had to mention a downside, the dessert menu could have had a little more variety. But we would love to come back!

We were welcomed very nicely. You can tell that the waitress and the chef enjoy their work and both know their craft. We had an excellent meal and we will definitely be back. Great first evening here

We visited this place during our vacation. It's a cute local place to enjoy your food. The lady is very friendly, sympathetic and attentive. We had a very nice table to sit comfortably with children. The food was delicious, above expectations. We also had some nice beers. The only negative was that we had to wait a bit too much for the food, and it is the reason why there is one less star. Otherwise, totally recommended!

We had a nice dinner here on King's Day. It was a pleasant chaos in the positive sense of the word. A homely atmosphere and good food. No nonsense, just fun.

Heerlijk gegeten op een besloten feestje

Wat een leuk eetcafé! Sfeer is goed, originele menukaart en heerlijk gegeten. Zeker aan te raden, reserveren is wel noodzakelijk voor een tafeltje.

Leuk eetcafeetje in centrum medemblik. Klein maar fijn. Kaart is prima, voor elck wat wils. Knap om te zien dat er op de vierkante meter wordt gekookt in de keuken. Heel veel plek is er niet, maar wat de keuken verlaat is goed. Sateetje erg lekker. Stoofpotje goed van smaak. Porties voldoende groot. Prijs kwaliteit is ok. Bediening is vriendelijk en sfeer westfries hartelijk. Voor een vlotte ongedwongen hap de moeite waard.

Super leuk eetcafé. Ongedwongen, gezellig en heerlijk eten voor een hele redelijke prijs. Echt een aanrader. Als we hier zouden wonen hadden ze er een vaste gast bij.

Voor perfect bereide gerechten en een top bediening moet je hier zijn! Zeker een aanrader!

Wat een aangename verassing eetcafé Tijdloos. Geprikkeld door de positieve reviews een bezoek gebracht. Voortreffelijk malse ossenhaas. De Ribfingers van het Iberico varken, zeer smaakvol en het scheelt je een vlucht naar Spanje! Lavacake om het compleet te maken! Gastvrijheid, ingrediënten, sfeer, Tijdloos!

Dit Eetcafé straalt veel gezelligheid uit,en de sfeer en het eten is er echt goed en heerlijk, zeker een aanrader om daar eens heen te gaan

We just have been there for drinks, can not say anything about the food. But the staff was very friendly, the ambiente really nice and the prices absolutely fair. In total a nice place to have some drinks. The next time we will try the food as well :)
