The location is perfect – you're literally surrounded by the lively atmosphere, with a view of the square and the impressive Plechelmus Basilica. The menu offers plenty of vegetarian options, which I personally appreciate. The dishes are delicious and the portions are generous. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the central location. The service is friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. In good weather, the terrace on the square is an absolute must – atmospheric, lively, and a great place to people-watch or simply relax. In short: an accessible and cozy spot for lunch, drinks, or dinner, with a good balance between quality, ambiance, and price. Highly recommended if you're in Oldenzaal!

I was there for a work event, and it was very well organised! The servers were very nice and easy going! The garlic bread stole my heart 🤭 We were in a separate room, so I didn't experience much of the atmosphere, but it looked well cared for! Definitely want to come back! 😁

Top gegeten op het gezellige marktplein in Oldenzaal. Heerlijke gerechten en goed en vriendelijk geholpen. We waren met meerdere gezinnen en het verliep allemaal soepel. Aanrader dus!

Wederom heerlijk gegeten, zeer vriendelijke bediening. Hoofdmenus zijn op ons verzoek ook deze keer in twee gangen als tapa's geserveerd.

Geliefd restaurant gelegen aan het uitgangscentrum van Oldenzaal. Dus reserveren is wel aan te bevelen. Ondanks dat het eigenlijk al vol zat heeft men toch een mogelijkheid weten te creëren om onverwachts met 7 personen te eten. Prima gegeten; gezellig restaurant met een goede menukaart. Prima prijs-kwaliteit verhouding.

Delicious food in restaurant Markt 19. Nice atmospheric restaurant. However, we sat close to the outside door, which caused a lot of draft and cold.

Don't expect haute cuisine, but a place where you can eat in a relaxed atmosphere in a pleasant atmosphere. The steak and surf and turf are delicious and they can learn something from the truffle gravy at Loetje. Friendly and attentive service ensures that you are never without a drink, while they do not forget the catering etiquettes. You see that a lot these days and often differently. Full marks for this tent.

Had a great evening. Dined with 5 people and made a reservation in advance. Well received and staff were working great. We came by regularly and asked if we were ready for a main course after eating the starter. Stayed afterwards because of the cozy atmosphere. Thank you for this!

Bad food, both the pork tenderloin and the mixed grill were very dry and had a hard dry crust, it seemed like it had been reheated! Missed opportunity, we did get a cup of coffee but that doesn't make the food any better. We won't go here again

Here you can enjoy very good and delicious food. Large portions, well prepared. The staff is very friendly and thinks along with you. For example, when we were bothered by wasps, they immediately responded (no wasps were seen after that, so that's great). Went back again 2 days later for a cup of coffee, which was also fine and tasty. Highly recommended.

Today we ate in our camper, at Hulsbeek camper place. Ordered 2 menus at Markt 19 in Oldenzaal. Food was delivered on time! It was still at the right temperature, more than enough, very tasty. In short, only positive! After the Covid 19 pandemic, we would like to come and eat at Markt 19. Thank you very much!

Delicious dinner tonight!!! Dordogne mushrooms have never tasted so good! Spare ribs and mixed grill were also very good. I'm very curious about the rest of the map. We will definitely come back!

Ate at market 19 today. We had a delicious meal... mussels, shrimps, pasta, mix grill, everything was delicious. Top quality.. nice service.. in short.. definitely worth repeating.

Well prepared food but not special and a bit overpriced. I had the tenderloin tips with cashew nuts, bean sprouts and soy sauce. With emphasis on points... Minimal, but the tenderloin was excellently prepared and therefore tender. There was little left of the bean sprouts. The layout on the (dark) board was not really appealing. A bowl of Flemish fries, a bowl of fried potatoes with mayonnaise and a bowl of salad (for 4) as a side dish were a real letdown. For that price (€18.50), it really needs to be better. The service was very friendly (top) but came to ask 5 too many times if we wanted something to drink. Irritating. Typical for a bar. Simple dessert, 2 scoops of ice cream was tasty, but all that whipped cream is not necessary for me. The four of us were able to sit down and have a nice chat with a beer. But the price/quality ratio for the food is skewed.
