Note: this isn't a Turkish restaurant or eatery. It's just a residential building, a regular terraced house, and has absolutely nothing to do with buying or taking out food. See Google Maps. There are no Turkish people living there either. What terrible information! This eatery could never have been located here. So, my advice: don't go here if you're hungry. The door is opened by a tattooed, muscular construction worker with a huge, aggressive dog that barks incessantly. He showed no understanding and wouldn't even speak politely or listen to anyone's reason for being there. A terrible experience on an empty stomach. Yuck.

Joost van Den Vondellaan 39Good snack bar, good quality! Only the adult woman behind the counter speaks poor Dutch and then tries to tell me how to say it and starts arguing... I'll chalk it up to ignorance. They don't even ask if you want to eat it here or at home. Sometimes you get mustard with the croquette, other times not. Simply unfriendly. My 6-year-old daughter wished her a nice day, and she didn't reply. This place isn't even worth one star!

Keizerstraat 5I feel at home with Irma like a fetus with its mother. I don't know what I would do without Cafetaria 't Bijtje, because this cafeteria has stopped me from attempting suicide. Irma is truly a sweetheart; she makes sure her customers feel comfortable, and she lets them know.
