Enjoyed something tasty with a cup of coffee

Great food, in a good location. But we especially enjoyed the craftsmanship of the service. They saw everything, and were very hospitable

Easter Monday. A quick stroll through the market, then a bite to eat. Excellent eatery. Nice meal.

Unfortunately, the service is not recommended. We ordered main courses with 4 adults and received a small bowl of French fries and potatoes for one dish. When we asked why two supplements were missing, we were only given a succinct answer and no opportunity to say anything else. We nevertheless complained about the small amount of fries and reluctantly the order was taken for 2 more portions, unfortunately the delivery was so late that we had already finished eating. The service then asked sarcastically several times whether we liked the fries… My criticism here only applies to the very unprofessional handling of complaints. The food itself was tasty and OK

Breakfast starts around 8:10 AM for 4:50 PM. Which is perfectly manageable. There are seats for 125 people, and when the terrace is open, there are another 70 seats, plus additional rooms for meetings and/or groups. It's a restaurant and hotel, so it's highly recommended.

Had lunch with my wife this afternoon. Reception, food and cleanliness were fine. Definitely recommended.

We ate here for the first time tonight, my wife and I both agreed, we have not had such a delicious meal in a long time. Food, service and atmosphere as if from a bygone era and what we so often miss nowadays in the better catering establishments. We will definitely be back, soon!

3 avonden achter elkaar hier gegeten ivm verblijf in het hotel. Alle keren zeer goed gegeten. Vooraf mosterdsoep of brocollisoep: zeer smaakvol. Hoofdgerecht in onze groep variërend van spareribs tot heekfilet (vis van de dag) tot rouleau van kip, saté en schnitzel. Alles smaakte wederom zeer goed en de spareribs gleden van het bot af. Bediening alle dagen vriendelijk en vlot.

Had a cup of coffee on the terrace. There was nothing wrong with the coffee, but the price was: 3.40 for a cup of coffee. Ridiculous!!

Staff were too busy and attacked each other. That's not nice in front of your customers.

Unfortunately I can only give this restaurant one star for the service. Unfortunately I can't judge the food or the ambience. We wanted to eat here on Sunday evening and were allowed to sit on the terrace. After ordering drinks, we told the waiter that we would like to eat something. Before he handed us the cards, he asked us if we were guests and staying in the hotel. Since that didn't happen, we were allowed to get up again and had to leave because he wasn't allowed to take orders for people who don't live in the hotel. This might be different on other evenings, but it really irritated us because there wasn't much going on at 5:45 p.m. If a restaurant already has this name “Eethuis voor allen”, then it should be available to everyone. But that shouldn't be our problem because we won't be coming back.

Due to circumstances we ended up at Eethuis voor Allen. At first glance it looks a lot fancier than we were dressed, but fortunately we were welcome (really for everyone). The staff was very helpful and friendly and we had a nice chat with them. The menu was very extensive and I had a lot of choice, the waiter knew how to inform me well and was able to make a suitable choice together with me. The food tasted very delicious and it was more than enough. Unfortunately, I got sick half an hour later, but with weak intestines that is always something that lurks. Despite that, we would love to go back there again.

We had a very nice meal with our group! Everything tasted great and the portions were good! Mussels were good, also the size (sometimes you get those small ones somewhere). Shrimp cocktail was excellent and the Dame Blanche even had real melted chocolate, while at many restaurants you only get fake chocolate sauce from a bottle. Excellent and tasty side dishes, the schnitzel, spare ribs and veal liver were also very good.

Location is fine. Service is okay. A bit on the expensive side. 3.70 for a coke, beer or Fanta. Does this belong to the Brink hotel?

So not an eatery for all. When my wife asked if someone could let me know if someone was paying on the terrace, the grumbling lady said she couldn't hold a table. (funny, we're inside after all) The restaurant is very old and bulging. We indicated that we wanted to discuss whether we would like something to drink because the reaction and the atmosphere felt a bit raw. The young man found it necessary (unfortunately behind my back) to laugh at us. We decided to leave this antisocial restaurant.

If you sit outside on the terrace it can be quite noisy due to the traffic. With a view of the village green. The service, the atmosphere and the refreshments are also excellent.

Annoying experience on Sunday afternoon, July 21, 2024. We thought we would enjoy a nice cappuccino on your terrace. For the price of €4.00 for a cappucino you expect a product made by a barista. We received a cup of coffee with a very thin layer of frothed milk, which comes straight from a machine. Immediately after we had finished our cup, the waiter immediately asked us if he could do anything for us. We replied "we want to wait a while because we have just finished our coffee". At that time, there were still enough tables available on the terrace for any new guests. Why such a hurry we thought. The waiter immediately came to clear our cups even though we had not yet had time to eat our cookies next to the cup. Then a fellow waiter comes to us with another question: "Is your order already on its way?" We did not feel welcome as guests. That's why we didn't place another order as we intended. Because of this experience we will not return. Another general note: We do not understand that smoking is allowed on your terrace, even under the awnings. While children also sit on this same terrace and society is committed to a smoke-free generation.

Aspergesoep? (geen asperge in de soep te vinden) ondanks de aparte asperge menukaart met reclame "Asperges van Meinardi". Op de vraag waar ze zijn is het antwoord ze zijn "gepureerd" Ja en? Dat Meinardi zich hiervoor leent. Foei. Verder "Tong" besteld, wetend dat het geen joekels zijn dus geen 2 maar 3 bestelt. Het werd een miniatuur als 3e. Bestel volgende keer normaal 2 stuks. Had lunch here with my girlfriend. Friendly welcome and delicious food. (12 hours). Mustard soup was delicious.

Leuke ligging in Zuidlaren. Wel wat druk. Wij hebben er een thee, twee chocolade melk en een drents borrelplankje genuttigd. Borrelplankje bestaat uit een paar stukjes droge knoflook worst,droge met worst stukjes kaas 4 bitterballen en wat nootjes. Om de mosterd mayonaise moesten we vragen en de wrap ontbrak. Wij vonden het plankje erg karig voor een prijs van € 19,75. Gelukkig erg vriendelijke bediening met een goed gevoel voor humor. Voor deze prijs geen borrelplankje weer.

12 uurtje besteld….. Soep lauw Kroket temp niet vanuit frituur voldoende om te eten na terugname soep. Ei koud, nieuw aangeleverd echter ook niet echt warm. Nog 1 poging , vorige poging bij kanttekening prima opgelost door de serveerster , 3 x is scheepsrecht bij mij!

Last Friday we ate the goat cheese salad, goat cheese had flown over it, we reported this to the waiter who then supplied extra goat cheese, 👍🏿. Ordered it today at 12 o'clock, the soup was lukewarm, the croquette was not as hot as it came from the fryer, but it was immediately edible, the egg was cold! Reported this to the waiter, who took it back to the kitchen and again received a lukewarm egg, leaving the Russian salad behind in the kitchen! One more attempt soon to see if anything improves, otherwise Gordon will have to go there 😂.

We hebben hier het diner gebruikt. We hadden een Drenthe stoofschotel en gebakken kalfslever. Beiden waren goed. De bediening was vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Very disappointing experience today, especially after previous experiences with you. Coffee, cake and lunch for 7 people. Slow order taking (wasn't busy at all) table was not cleared in between. And if you ask twice if we can order lunch and you hear at the bar that one colleague says to the other that today's clients also have no patience... Then you really wonder whether a course in hospitality, client service and service must be offered. Finally, the older waitress tried to speed up the order in the kitchen. Where have gone the days when there were enthusiastically motivated staff (including the Amsterdam waiter) who made a visit to your restaurant all the difference. That you kept coming back... such a shame... but we are dropping out.

Too busy with not enough service 😩😩😩

Very tasty food in this authentic restaurant. The onion soup was served at the table from a soup tureen by the friendliest waiter and is more than worth ordering. The seasonal hare pepper also deserves all stars, just like the chicken satay that was consumed. Next time we stay in the North again, this restaurant, together with the hotel, will definitely be on the list to return to.

Delicious cappuccino and easy parking in the large parking lot opposite the terrace. It's also nice to stay inside. It's a shame about the busy street along the terrace.

Fijne plek om te eten, wat drinken of allebei. Ruime parkeergelegenheid er tegenover. De houten eettafel stoelen kunnen wel een opwaardering gebruiken.

Uiterst vriendelijke bediening, en een heerlijk Drents Stoofpotje. Leuke verlichting en een prima locatie aan De Brink.

Goed eten voor een schappelijke prijs!

Het eten is best lekker ik vind het alleen veel te prijzig, de sla was niet gewassen, het broodje zelf vond ik al niet passen bij de prijs (verwacht kwalitatief beter) maar was ook nog eens klef. Had voor het broodje prima rond de € 6 willen betalen maar €9,75 is te veel. De sfeer is wel oke naar oudbollig, interieur is aan vervanging toe. Het personeel is vriendelijk maar besteden geen tijd en aandacht aan je.

Lekker gegeten en goed geholpen.

Ganz klare Empfehlung!! Die Speisen waren sehr lecker . Auch reichlich an Beilagen . Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Hatten einen tollen Abend

Allereerst wil ik meedelen dat dit een echt oud hollandsch restaurant is, heerlijke ouderwetse gerechten waar een culinair hoogstandje NIET tegen op kan. Het personeel is supervriendelijk, ondanks dat het druk was hebben wij niet lang hoeven te wachten op het eten. Ook al zou dat wel het geval geweest zijn, dan zou dat door de gezelligheid ook geen probleem zijn. We verbleven eveneens in het brinkhotel. Ik raadt iedereen dit hotel en restaurant aan als je niet van 'koude kak' houdt. Bedankt voor het fijne verblijf. Ik moest nog de groeten doen aan de aardige ober die zijn werk goed doet, namens mijn dochter. Lieve groet, Fam. Zijlstra Hitzum

Eten was zeer matig, geen garnituur, kale boel! Met 4 personen een minischaaltje gebakken aardappelen , sla en rode bieten. Moesten 2 x vragen voor meer, er werd gezegd: we gooien heel veel eten weg ( op zich mooi streven), maar deze hoeveelheden waren schaamtevol!! Luid en duidelijk zeggen: "dat er niemand met honger de deur uit gaat", gaf mij bovendien een vervelend gevoel, daarvoor ga ik niet naar een restaurant.....

Het eten was hier heel erg lekker en het personeel vriendelijk en vlot. Als vegetariër kun je hier ook prima terecht. De vegetarische curry is zeer zeker een aanrader!

We hebben heerlijk geluncht op het terras.

Over de kwaliteit van het eten heb ik zelf en om mij heen alleen goede dingen gehoord. Het lunchmenu is veilig (saté met brood, kroket met brood, uitsmijter, salade etc.) maar voor een ieder geschikt. Ook voldoende vegetarische opties. Het restaurant was afgelopen zondag duidelijk onderbemand. De aanwezige bediening moest rennen. Het gevolg voor ons als groep was dat de eerste gasten hun drankje al op hadden terwijl anderen nog geen drankje hadden gekregen. Ondanks excuses, is dat jammer en doet afbreuk aan de gehele ervaring. Het uitserveren van de lunch zelf ging vrij vlot, ondanks het eten met een groep à la carte. De keuken leek dus beter bezet te zijn dan de bediening en de bar. Het te weinig aanwezige personeel was vriendelijk en het eten smakelijk. Vragen of alles naar wens is of nog een tweede of derde drankje bestellen onder het eten, was onmogelijk. Misschien kom ik ooit weer terug voor de prima saté maar in ieder geval nooit weer met een groep.

We waren er voor de derde keer en wederom weer heel leuk schone kamer en vriendelijk personeel. Het ontbijt is erg goed. Dus niets meer te wensen.

De bediening mocht wel iets beter. Lang op het eten gewacht. Maar het eten was supergoed echt heerlijk dus dagmaat een hoop goed. De prijs was ook goed. Dus gaan zeker nog een keer weer heen. Hopen dat debediening dan iets beter is .

Goed gegeten, entourage niet spannend

Gezellige plek om even lekker uit te rusten tijdens onze fietstocht. Lekker gebak van de plaatselijke bakker. Ondanks dat het druk was met onderbezetting was het goed geregeld allemaal.

Het eten was goed. De saté was prima. De frites had krokanter gemogen. De sfeer en kaart is traditioneel. De dame in de bediening was welwillend maar drukte overviel haar. Een mannelijke collega was minder empathisch. Je merkte dat er onvoldoende personeel aanwezig was om se drukte aan te kunnen.

Prima locatie voor een goede maaltijd tegen een redelijke prijs.
