Everything is great, but I miss brown bread and sourdough bread. Otherwise, everything is super tasty. The service staff is very good and attentive.

Google guided me to them as "best coffee Doetinchem". And rightly so! Delicious coffee, nice and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Delicious high tea in the garden, starting with soup followed by plenty of hot and cold snacks. Very friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely come back here. Very pleasant atmosphere.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such an incredibly fun afternoon here! We celebrated a birthday with a large group with a high tea, and absolutely everything was perfect. Delicious treats, beautifully presented, and everything taken care of down to the last detail. And then the service… so lovely, friendly, and hospitable! Nothing was complicated, everything was possible, and they were very helpful with every request. That makes an afternoon like this just that little bit extra special. We ate well, laughed a lot, and above all, enjoyed ourselves immensely. Everyone went home enthusiastic, and that really says it all. Highly recommended! ❤️

Nice place, had a cup of coffee with tiramisu cake (highly recommended), decorated with vintage items, beautiful outdoor terrace under the greenery, hotel and on the edge of the city center. Will definitely come back here again.

We had High Tea yesterday around lunchtime. We indicated when making the reservation that one person was pregnant. When the High Tea arrived, it included some small raw meat and fish dishes. After mentioning this, the chef more than made up for it with delicious small dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, the lovely tea flavors, and the hospitality of the ladies working there. Bravo!!

The salad was very disappointing. I come here often and didn't expect this. A messy green salad with pesto and a few tomato chunks. Five rock-hard pieces of bread. Not worthy of a lunch. The wine was good, though.

The food is of excellent quality. Come here at a quiet time to enjoy all the delicious food. On weekends, it's too crowded in my opinion; the doorbell rings constantly. The staff was friendly but not customer-focused. I ordered a 12-hour meal, which also included soup. You don't know which soup you'll get, but unfortunately, it tasted really strange. I couldn't place it; it seemed like flavorless hot pepper soup. It definitely didn't taste like bell pepper soup, which, after asking, it should have, and I'm a real soup connoisseur. I left it. No compensation was given. Even worse, a girl behind the counter (helper) whispered, laughing, that the bell pepper soup was disgusting. Shame! With this attitude, they'll never see me back!

Just had one burger and a beer and it was absolutely delicious. Authentic local food, real potatos, cooked with care. Prices were very decent and of course English speaking employees. Home town cozy atmosphere. Definitely will come back.

Today I drank 1 small cup of coffee with 1 small cup of caffeine-free cappuccino with oat milk. We were shocked by the price of 7.45 euros for 2 small coffees. Just got back from the UK where you get double the size for much less money, so it doesn't have to be expensive. It's actually no fun eating something outside anymore🫣

Cozy shop and restaurant with friendly service. For two small coffees you now spend more than 7 euros here. That is really too much for this amount. Shame.

Love the concept of eating locally and seasonally. The garden is great to sit in but inside also has a great atmosphere. The little shop is a lovely addition.

We ate a pool park sandwich at your place yesterday. I wasn't really happy about that. The bun was not fresh, tough and the small amount of pork was cold. And that for 10 euros. Way too expensive for what you get. I gave 3 stars for the location and friendly staff.

You must order from a gypsy wagon. I wanted a fresh mint tea and a cappuccino. There was no mint tea available and I had to go get cappuccino. Two cappuccinos and an orange puff €10.50. Cappuccinos in a cup and there was little filling in the choux. It may be hip these days, but I think €3.50 for a paper cup of cappuccino is way too much. Especially since I have to get it myself. We have been here many times in the past but the service has deteriorated significantly. Shame. Has much more potential

We had dinner here this afternoon. The staff was super friendly. We were helped with a cheerful smile. They really enjoy it. You could taste that too, the food was delicious. I didn't realize I had reserved a tasting. Two people with us had dropped out, which I didn't let them know because I was under the impression that I was coming to eat a la carte. They had taken this into account with the purchasing, but they thought creatively so that we ultimately had to pay for the number of people we ate with. Top tent!

As always, it was friendly and fun at Van Mien and the burgers with fries were delicious, really great! The delicious coffee and cake made it complete.

Tasty high tea in a cozy place. The portions are good, 4 savory snacks and 5 sweet per person. Diversity was good in this. Soup, sandwich, quiche, salad, chocolate macaron, 2 mini cakes and a scone. Nicely served. The choice of tea could have been a bit more extensive and for the experience I think scooping fresh tea is a bit more special than a tea bag from the package. Price is 15 euros, which I think is appropriate for the quantity. Service came to ask if it was to your liking. I would definitely go again.

The food was tasty, but I think 14.50 euros for some potato fries with only 3 pieces of rendang was way too pricey. Especially when you consider that you have to order everything at the counter and pick it up yourself.

A 'filthy delicious 12-hour meal' consisting of a delicious pepper soup, a tasty, well-filled croquette with homemade mustard and a fried fried egg on a tasty, thick slice of bread.. A tasty Latte Macchiato with oat milk and a Fritz Cola Zero with a slice drank lemon. Nice and cozy city garden! Very nice experience in Doetinchem.

They offer tasty pastries, and you can even pick up local groceries in their shop.

The falafel was so dry that it should actually be banned. Salad bowl with chicken thighs was very tasty! Lemon pie was delicious: light meringue with the sweet and sour taste of the lemon curd.

Heerlijk met z'n 2en gegeten. Frieten met Rendang en de saladebowl met huisgemaakte falafel. De Gemberhotties waren heel verrassend en verwarmend. Later nog een taartje gegeten, de Baskische burnt cheesecake. De bediening was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Erg gezellig ingericht.

Prettige plek om buiten te lunchen. De speelgoed bak voor de kinderen werd er meteen bij gehaald, top. Dus ontspannen kunnen zitten. Het eten was goed, wel wat bijzondere frietjes. Het leek wel alsof ze nog een keer opgewarmd waren in de frituur. Mijn zoon (7) was dolgelukkig met z'n pancakes. De jongste (1) smulde van zijn boterham met boter en vruchtenspread.

This is a real find ! A rambling indoor area leads to outside where there are many different places to eat including a lawn area perfect for dogs! We had simple omelette but they were delicious and the coffees were good!

Gestopt tijdens het tourfietsen. Het gewenste biertje was er niet. De limoncello sprits konden ze niet maken. Vervolgens een broodmix besteld. Meer als een half uur gewacht en toen zijn we gegaan. Het bedrag van het brood daargelaten.

Wij zaten buiten, was leuk ingericht. Wel in een wat troosteloze omgeving maar daar kan Mien niets aan doen. Het was niet druk bij Mien en opvallend dat een bestelling van 2 groentekroketten een dik half uur duurde. Maar ach, voortdurende muziek van Bob Marley, dat vraagt om een relaxte houding. Don't worry be Happy. Echter toen de kroketten kwamen waren ze nog lauw tot koud van binnen en dan rijst wel de vraag wat ze al die tijd aan het doen zijn geweest. Ze smaakten wel goed dus wat zullen wij verwende Nederlanders klagen, maar Mien was wel eenmalig voor ons.

5 sterren ervaring. Leuke lunchgelegenheid (en nog veel meer) aan de rand van het centrum van Doetinchem. Voor ieder wat wils op de kaart met regionale ingrediënten. Zo zie ik het graag! Aanrader.

Geweldig lekkere hightea, aparte thee, smakelijke warme hapjes, heerlijk brood. Lekkere zoete hapjes, op een oergezellige huiskamer locatie. Top bediening. Ik ben vaker geweest en kom zeker weer terug
