I enjoy coming here. The food is very good, the service is friendly, cheerful, and efficient, and the prices are acceptable. I also always like being able to see the kitchen. It is a compact, clean, and well-organized kitchen, which you have a good view of from almost every table. The lunch special and the various wraps are highly recommended.

I had an egg salad sandwich, it was tasty. But my whole plate was piled high with dry salad. I felt just like a rabbit.

Drinks arrived promptly, but the food arrived 27 minutes later. My 12 o'clock meal was a huge disappointment. The bread was awful (dry and crumbly), the egg yolk was runny, and the pea soup looked awful and tasted incredibly artificial. The temperature in the lunchroom was uncomfortable. We were freezing when we went back outside.

It's fun to watch everything being freshly prepared. The sandwiches are delicious and clearly made with care. Plus, I was served incredibly quickly, which is always nice during a lunch break. Definitely recommended; I'd love to come back!

I had lunch at this cozy lunchroom today, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The two ladies who work here make all the difference: incredibly sociable, friendly, and genuinely interested in their guests. You feel welcome the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is fast and attentive, and everything is done with a smile. Definitely a place you'll want to return to for a good lunch and a warm welcome.

What a terrible place this has become! The food was awful and tasteless. We also had to wait a really long time before we could finally order because the young women working there were busy recording a video for TikTok, which is apparently more important! A lot of giggling and shouting made it impossible to sit comfortably in the restaurant. It's gone downhill, which is a real shame. It used to be a nice place with normal, friendly staff. Now it's nothing more than a bunch of arrogant kids with absolutely no experience. We'd heard from several people that it's not like it used to be. Now we've experienced it ourselves, and we definitely won't be coming here again.

Arrogant waitresses. Our 14-month-old baby briefly touched the windows, and the waitresses immediately reprimanded her. Our daughter was in her high chair almost the entire time, and the arrogance with which she was told was truly inappropriate.

Not the cheapest, but certainly well-stocked. They employ the tactic of ordering drinks first, waiting a fair amount of time to order, and then asking if you'd like a drink with your meal. That's a shame, considering you'll spend almost thirty euros on two sandwiches and two cups of coffee.

Stop by for a coffee! 3 young ladies serving. Can't call them friendly. The inexperience radiates from it. Press which saucer should go under which coffee and the 3 of them do that. Are too busy with private conversations or looking/typing on the phone. Our coffee was already ready, but there was a lot of discussion about private matters. Very unprofessional! You will be asked at checkout. Where have you been sitting in an irritated manner. The lady indicated what she had used and the irritated question came again. Very customer unfriendly. The case is very nice, but that's not the reason. Next time we'll keep walking.

Open at 9am on Saturday, have a nice breakfast for a reasonable price. From 9-10 I was alone without other guests, which surprised me given the chill vibe here... so extra quiet 😅. Good quality food with a sense of detail in taste. Nice 'millenials' atmosphere in terms of music. In short, my regular breakfast place in Doetinchem! Shame it has changed so much from what it used to be when I lived here in 1984-1997. No atmosphere at all and the staff were miserable.

Do you know that? That you have been walking past a business for decades and think it is not really your type of business? Well what an eye opener the Picnic is! What a nice and fresh lunchroom that is, hip and nice on the inside, nice service and a very good menu! Highly recommended!

Nieuwe eigenaar, En de kwaliteit iets beter, maar vandaag uitsmijter rosbief gegeten, rosbief mega droog, 2 van de drie eieren mega droog gebakken. De Merlot was ook niet te pruimen, Dus algemene mening is nog steeds dat het leuk is als je niet veel verwacht voor het geld. Maar dan zijn er veel betere zaken in Doetinchem

Goede personeel, en een leuke en aardig eigenaar. Ik zelf woon er boven, maar ik hoor en zie alles, en ik vind het altijd een gezellige boel daar. Dus als uw wil lunchen of gezellige wat drinken. Ga ga er heen want zo leuk personeel vind je niet erg snel. Dus neem een kijkje en maak een leuke praatje of ga er met je familie er heen. Je komt en gaat met een blije lach er uit. Fijnste plek om in Doetinchem even neer te strijken en lekker wat te eten of gewoon een kopje koffie te drinken. Enorm hartelijk en gastvrij! Het broodje carpaccio en de koffie zijn echt een aanrader (mijn favoriet!), maar eigenlijk wordt alles hier met liefde gemaakt! Kijk niet verder als je een fijne plek om heerlijk te lunchen of eten zoekt. Wat mij betreft is deze plek de beste van Doetinchem en de ondernemer, (de aardigste en meest bevlogen) ondernemer van het jaar!

Vergeleken met de vorrige picknick is het echt super mooi geworden, mooi open en licht, en een mooie open keuken dus je kunt alles zien. En ja ze hebben nog steeds de lekkere Arabic koffie met mocca slagroom

Un lugar muy bonito pero precios muy excesivos.

Tostie ham/kaas/ananas besteld kreeg tosti ham/kaas. Deze werd na een opmerking direct, heel snel, weer weggenomen en vervangen door de goeie.

Vrij moderne inrichting, strak. Maar ik mis de authentieke nostalgie, die het eerder uitstraalde. Voor de rest een leuke "koffie tent" met een leuke kaart.

Gemütlich einen leckeren Kaffee genossen.

Ze hebben hele lekkere koffie. Ik neem vaak koffie mafioso daar zit TIA Maria in. Echt lekker.

Super mooie zaak geworden en zeker een aanwinst voor onze mooie Doetinchem. Klaar voor de toekomst nu de nieuwe eigenaar erop zit. Heerlijk gegeten samen met de kinderen. Niets om op aan te merken. Wij komen zeker terug aangezien wij heerlijk hebben gegeten en een top service hebben mogen ervaren.

Een goed restaurant met een fijne sfeer. En met een goede bediening. Leuk aangekleed en niet te vol.
