El Greco in Veghel

Great place, good food for a fair price. Definitely recommended if you're in the area.

El Greco in Veghel resembles a Greek takeout restaurant, but with a surprisingly large seating area. However, the atmosphere is somewhat distant and uninviting to dine in. The dishes were reasonably tasty, but the portions were a bit small for the price. The food was adequate, but didn't make a particularly good impression. In short: fine if you're in the area and want a quick takeaway, but not the place for a casual night out or a leisurely meal.

Good gyros, just not that many!

Discovered by chance thanks to the fast charger at the neighbors. Delicious food! Definitely worth repeating.

What an unbelievable company. I placed my order correctly, picked it up, and it wasn't quite right. I called them and explained the details. They blamed me for not placing the order correctly, while they were the ones who did it wrong. When I went to pick up the things they'd forgotten, I was met with angry looks. And that was the last time I went there.

The people here are wonderful, and they make delicious food with care and love. The homemade curry and chili mayonnaise are delicious with a burger and bacon and cheddar fries.

Nice good service, delicious food

Delicious food for a good price! Service is also great!

The food is very good, just what you get for the price is not ok. Afterwards I walked to the pump because I was still hungry. €9.50 for a 10cm pita gyros is bizarre.

Our son Martijn especially, but we also regularly visit El Greco. It is always good and will definitely come back again in 2025! Price/quality/quantity is more than excellent.

Very nice spot, easily accessible. I enjoyed the soup very much. Good place when you want a quick and good tasting lunch

Had a delicious meal at El Greco. Ordered a warm grilled sausage sandwich with cheese, highly recommended!! And the hot chicken sandwich is also super tasty. We will definitely come back here.

New menu, very extensive and the best fries in the area

Great place to eat something tasty.

Had dinner before we went to the theater performance in the Blauwe Kei. We did some magic along the way and ended up at El Greco. Industrial design, but no decoration whatsoever, high ceiling and reverberating acoustics: camping canteen with a 1970s atmosphere. Table: grubby, all sticky. The service cleared the table, but unfortunately the same thing happened afterwards...the whole table was sticky, yuck. Then the dish was served: 15 euros per person for a small plate of bifteki with some gyros (too greasy) and lots of fries (El Greco dish). Taste of the meat was bland and clearly lacked some Greek herbs. It's that we didn't have time to eat somewhere else, given the start of the theater performance, otherwise we would have driven away with screeching tires. An illusion and 36.55 euros poorer and a bad experience richer, we left. The positive reviews probably come from the time when our Pug was still a Pug, it seems to be a faded glory here. A shame, because the building certainly has potential for a Greek tavern or something like that, beautiful terrace with many wooden benches where we unfortunately could not sit due to the bad weather. Finally: the toilet was very neat and super clean, but that was not what we came for. Shame. Tips for improvement: Gentlemen, place paper coasters with cutlery, rolled in a napkin, on the tables when people do not pick up but come to eat in your tent. If necessary, charge €0.50 per person. That makes a big difference in terms of atmosphere and is also more hygienic. Put on some nice Greek music, it costs a few cents in SENA rights, but it enhances the atmosphere (then people may stay seated a little longer, although you may not want that because of the snack bar setup, but still... it also gets you more traffic).

Amaizing place, to have a lunch, delicious burges and plates.

Modernly furnished snack bar. Have eaten here twice. Really tasty. Everything fresh and I like the open view kitchen. Very friendly team. Top.

The most authentic pita giros in the Netherlands, super tasty!!!

Excellent service and nice dishes

Always friendly, especially good food for an affordable price! Nowadays people complain too much about everything. Can you tell me from experience that it is really good here! Delicious pitas and gyros menu and much more. Greetings, hippie

Restaurant located near the Bas World park, very practical and good. Friendly welcome

Nice place with tasty sandwiches, I am very satisfied

Has nothing to do with Greek food anymore. Chicken on the pita was cooked in a sweetish tasteless sauce. You used to get roasted spiced meat here. Acoustics of the restaurant due to all the concrete walls are not great when it is busy. Atmosphere of a company canteen.

Since there has been a new owner, things have become a little less so, for example, the feta sandwich (as in the photo) is often filled with lettuce, I had to use the proverbial "magnifying glass" to look for the feta...

You can get the tastiest pita chicken here!

Burger had too much sauce, so you can no longer taste the flavor of the hamburger meat. Too bad... Fries were tasty. And the restaurant is clean.

Personeel is heel vriendelijk!

Mmmm… we love this place, food is fresh and people are super nice! Totally recommend!

Super lekker broodje kip en gyros op. Verse producten en vriendelijke service. Prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

Delicious food and really good prices. Unbelievable that in the Netherlands we found such a tasteful burgers. Highly recommend!

I love this place, all staff are so friendly. As a vegetarian I love all the options.

Sehr leckere Pita Gyros und Personal sehr freundlich

Delicious food and friendly staff!

Good food, fast service, nice staff.

Delicious food , friendly staff , good prices. Recommended;) !

Voorheen altijd voortreffelijk.

Lekkere hamburger. Vriendelijke mensen.
