Quite place compared to the other restaurants around, which is nice if you are not interested in loud music on a weekend. Food and drinks are average, the espresso martini 🍸 was sweet. Staff was helpful. It has nice view

This is an insult to Spain. The tapas served here are cold, limp morsels that taste nothing. Unfortunately, they're also very expensive. Luckily, there are plenty of beach bars where they know what they're doing. Such a shame.

I had dinner there on August 17, 24 with my dad and my best friend. We were really in the mood for paella, which is why we went to this restaurant, which unfortunately wasn't available. We were given a German menu that had a much smaller selection than the normal menu, which I didn't understand, but well, we all found something we wanted to order and did so. Among other things, venison (which was good) and a so-called “super steak”. Both pieces of meat were ordered medium rare. Everything was fine with the deer, but the steak looked different, apart from the fact that it wasn't a nice piece of meat, (which you can expect from a great steak for the price) it was also almost cooked through, so we pointed this out to the waiter. He then asked us to cut through the meat several times to find a slightly pink spot, which we still couldn't see. Now the discussion really started, the waiter insisted that the piece was cooked medium rare and refused to go into the kitchen and discuss this with the chefs. Only when I said several times that I wouldn't pay that price for this piece of meat did he make his way to the kitchen. Halfway there, however, he turned around and said we should take a look here in the sunlight because it was flashing pink... which I found really bold, so we asked him to ask again in the kitchen, as the meat was by no means medium rare. He then came back after a short while and said that the chefs had also confirmed that this was medium rare. The deer, however, was also medium fried and almost bloody again, so I almost assume that the waiter never asked in the kitchen, but I don't want to accuse anyone of that! Well, I also pointed out to him that the food was now cold and that I definitely wouldn't pay for it because it wasn't what we ordered. He immediately threatened to call the police and got louder, so that at some point I gave in because he absolutely wouldn't let anyone talk to him and he didn't care at all that his guests were happy.. well in the end our dog ate the meat. But we paid the entire bill!

I ordered the Super Steak medium rare. I received a sliver of meat, crisscrossed with tendons, cut unevenly thick: 70% was just under 1 cm thick and 30% was 1.5-2 cm thick. The piece was dry and overcooked, so it wasn't worth almost 30 euros to me. When I complained, I was asked to cut the meat several times in different places. The alleged manager came back three times to show me a drop of meat juice that was then found on the plate. When the dish was finally cold, he returned it and stated that this was their standard practice. I refused to eat it or pay for it, and they loudly threatened me with the police. We had no choice but to pay. Never again. Reaction to the reply: I, 56 years old, was there with my daughter and her friend. We paid for everything, including the dry steak. The steak only saw the grill once, but it was grilled for too long; there's no such thing as too red with medium rare. We didn't want to pay for the steak that wasn't cooked properly and didn't want to have the whole table, but due to our lack of language skills we decided not to have to deal with the police and therefore paid for everything - nobody, neither we nor the manager, apologized.

Great beach bar, fantastic service. We spent a whole day here, enjoying drinks, tapas, and because we had such a well-organized day, we also tried their delicious dinner menu (the tenderloin is highly recommended). We wanted to eat here for the second time, but unfortunately we had to cancel after ordering drinks because it wasn't possible for our little son, who isn't much, to get just fries. We were supposed to order a kids' menu, but the little one would have only eaten the fries. It's a shame that a turnover of over €100 is being foregone here. We would have ordered tapas for 4 people because we were so impressed with them last time. Last time, the little one was even able to get a single fries. Since we were so impressed last time, I'm unfortunately disappointed now. I saw that but now I don't make money, with a waiter who treated the customers so well. Addendum August 15, 2024: No, I didn't misunderstand. We specifically asked several times and even mentioned that it was okay last time. In English too! I also mentioned here that we were so impressed last time. But apparently, that wasn't understood correctly again. But I'm not resentful and will give it 2 stars for the last time we were so impressed.

Despite it being very quiet on the terrace, it took a long time for the first round of (cold) tapas to be served. We immediately ordered a second round. Meanwhile, no one came to our table. When, after about 45 minutes, we asked if we could order another drink and cautiously inquired whether the next course was coming, we were told that two of the dishes we ordered were gone, and we apologized. No alternative was offered. At 8:15 PM, the menus were taken away and the chair cushions were collected. On a beautiful summer evening, at 8:15 PM! What excellent service.

Terrible experience. We lay down on a sunbed which cost €70 and then they don't serve anything because they don't serve on the beds because you are not allowed to eat there. For drinks the gentleman indicated that sometimes someone walks by (I had indicated that I would leave if this was not the case) but this was not the case and the lady inside also indicated that they do not do this. Next to us sat a very young couple who indicated that they would rather leave than pay but the gentleman forced them to stay and pay. DO NOT GO HERE!

The food was delicious, as were the cocktails! The price-quality ratio was also excellent. The waitress also handled things well after a few guests behaved inappropriately. Absolutely fantastic!👍🏻

Nice restaurant with tasty dishes and nice staff!

We came early in the evening for a drink. First of all, surprising to only give us the cocktail menu when we asked for simple sodas, surely a way to make us pay for the most expensive drinks. When we asked for something else, the waiter pretended not to understand. So what was my surprise when I wanted to go to the toilet before leaving the waiter told me that it was closed even though I had eaten! Scandalous. To flee.

I went today to spent the day in the beach with my girlfriend and we ordered 2 cocktails, one mojito and one piña colada, que quality wasn't really good, too strong of alcohol and no good taste, is maybe a little bit cheaper if you compare with the restaurants around but honestly I didn't like it, it's true that the ambient was so nice, you can stop with views to the beach, and you can find a lot of Spanish things in the meal, but I don't know about quality. You have 3 areas, inside of the restaurant, terrace and they have some place directly in the sand, perfect for one day in the beach, eat something and drink, the just need to improve the cocktails :)1

The drinks and service were great 👍 The meal we had ribeye steak, for 24 euros without a side dish, the side dishes were extra like fries and sauces except for the pan-fried vegetables! The side dishes were super tasty 👍 thank you But !!!!!!!!! The ribeye steak looked like a torn cleaning rag and was very laced with tendons Although it reminded me more of a bad piece of neck chop. And it was raw in many places even though I ordered medium So for the price 300g+ - and then such a piece of meat is not possible at all, I was very disappointed although everything else was great. We had a T-bone steak and the salmon. Both excellent. The vegetables were slightly spicy. My wife cannot tolerate capsaicin. She immediately got an exchange of vegetables. All in all a great service.

The beautiful beachside location of this venue provides an ideal setting for a relaxing evening with drinks. The ambience is undeniably charming, making it the perfect place to unwind as you toast to the picturesque view. However, please be cautious when it comes to the food. We ordered T-bone steaks, expecting them to be medium-rare but were met with disappointment. Not only were the steaks overcooked, but they were also overly salted, compromising the natural flavor of the meat. The quality of the meat was underwhelming, akin to the taste of an old shoe. In fairness, it seems as if the issue primarily lies with the quality of the ingredients rather than the skills of the chef. The vegetables accompanying our meal did nothing to elevate our dining experience; they too were overcooked and the portion size was quite small. Sadly, our overall culinary experience was far from satisfying, despite the delightful location. Rest assured, though, the venue shines beautifully in its role as a charming beach-drinks destination.

Food delicious, service really fantastic. So friendly and cheerful. Both the sister on the terrace and the sister behind the bar are such nice girls! Come here regularly. And will certainly continue to do so in the future.

My wife ordered a wrap with salmon and cream cheese, after taking a bite she discovered that there was no salmon and cream cheese in the wrap, but a potato salad with egg and the like... Because my wife can become seriously ill from certain foods, we indicated this after a long wait for staff to arrive and asked for the bill. To our surprise, the wrap was on the bill. The explanation from the staff was that you have to pay because a bite has been taken! So my wife should have first opened the wrap to see if the right dish had been served? We refused to pay this and with great difficulty the staff adjusted the bill. I don't easily give a bad review but this one is 100% deserved!! Nice day!

When you order a small Heineken, a chocolate milk with free whipped cream, a latte with apple pie with whipped cream and they charge you 20 euros for it and they quickly hide the receipt. Then there is only one word for this and that is cheating, we didn't feel like having an eternal discussion. Very nice service in a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately I have to say that we promised more in terms of tapas. I didn't think the paella was that good. And the rest was ok.

If you are a tapas lover like my wife, this restaurant is highly recommended, diverse and authentic. Food was excellent, especially the rib-eye, laced with fat and well seasoned. I will definitely come back here!

People are coming here for tapas, and it is the only dish that arrives fast. It was a position "fish of the day," but the waiter didn't even know the price or what could be offered to us. He was surprised that we actually wanted something else than tapas. We were waiting long, even if there were not many people. The food was good, a bit expensive but I would not complain concerning the location. Dessert was a carefully rolled ice cream ball that was empty inside (the same technique for all ordered desserts, so it was not an accident).

Supertent. Leuke meiden die ervoor zorgen dat je niet zonder bier zit en echt supervlees. Wij hadden een ribe eye steak en een super steak besteld en die waren echt top. Komen zeker hier weer terug.

Een rommelige ervaring tijdens ons bezoek. Het terras was relatief leeg, toch duurde het veel te lang voor we geholpen werden, zo lang dat we eigenlijk voornemens waren alweer te vertrekken. Het personeel kwam over alsof het weinig ervaring in de horeca dat uitte zich vooral in het opnemen en uitserveren van de gerechten. Dan het eten. De carpaccio was inspiratieloos en van de vele restaurants waar ik ben geweest absoluut onderaan de lijst. Als hoofdgerecht de ribeye, normaal een heerlijk stukje vlees dat met goede bereiding een kroon op het werk van de keuken had kunnen zijn. Ik kreeg echter een ribeye waarvan de helft puur vet was. Was dat nou echt nodig om te serveren? De prijs was erg stevig gelet de service en kwaliteit. Apart bijbetalen voor een theelepel mayonaise is in mijn ogen echt kansloos. Voor mij een reden om het bij één bezoek aan deze strandtent te houden. Zonde, deze strandtent heeft namelijk echt wel een uniek concept in vergelijking tot de buren, maar het komt niet tot uiting in de algemene beleving.

Zuvorkommende und freundliche Bedienung. Organisierte und das Kabeljaufilet 3 Stunden vor dem eigentlichen Start. Essen wurde schnell zubereitet. Garnierung war top 👍 und das Essen war ein absoluter Gaumenschmauß🤤

Dat je verhoudingsgewijs veel geld kwijt bent bij een strandtent, is logisch. Maar als je dan strandtent-prijzen rekent, dan moet je wel leveren. Dat ontbreekt bij ElBully. Rommelige service, ondanks de ervaren leeftijd van het personeel lijkt men wel compleet onervaren in de bediening. Carpaccio is droog en te zout, garnalencocktail heeft weinig garnalen en veel andere dingen. Als hoofd kwam er biefstuk. Die is redelijk geprijsd, maar je betaalt los voor de side dishes. Ook niet erg, maar dan moet er - wederom - wel geleverd worden. De Super Steak was acceptabel, de tournedos had echter niks met tournedos te maken en de ribeye had meer vet dan vlees. Ja, ribeye is vet, maar hier was de verhouding zoek. De friet was veel te lang gebakken en dus droog en hard. Er zit een vingehoedje mayonaise bij. Je wordt gewoon uitgeknepen hier. We hebben besloten de toetjes te laten zitten. Volgende keer een andere tent opzoeken.

Wir haben 2x in unserem Urlaub einen sehr schönen Abend mit leckerem Essen und Getränken im Elbully verbracht. Auch das Personal war sehr nett. Besonders bedanken möchten wir uns bei der lieben Mitarbeiterin, deren Namen wir zwar nicht kennen, Die jeweils 40 Minuten Fahrzeit mit dem Fahrrad von Den Haag zur Arbeit und umgekehrt hat. Wir sehen Sie hoffentlich bei unserem nächsten Besuch wieder.

Heerlijk gegeten en super vriendelijke bediening

Heerlijke tapas, verrukkelijke calmares, garnalen, en gehaktballetjes. Professioneel en vriendelijke gastvrouw.

We hebben hier een lekkere cocktail genomen en zij toen toch maar, ook al was het eerst niet de bedoeling, blijven eten. Was heel gezellig, en ook heerlijk gegeten.

Heerlijk gegeten Gezellige tent

Afgelopen week een Porterhouse T-bone steak gegeten bij een ander restaurant maar dit haalt het bij lange na niet bij ElBully, heerlijke T-bone en Tournedos gegeten. Daarnaast vriendelijk personeel, wij komen zeker weer terug!

Eten was goed. Vrouw deed goed haar best ondanks het gebrek aan personeel! Kinderen kregen nog een ijsje na, prima geregeld.

We were a little dissapointed. The menu had a lot to offer. Napkin holder wasn't clean, beer glas freshly washed (not in an hot dishwasher I guess) and had about 5mm water in it and waterspots and waterdrops on it (they were not busy), "Wrap Pollo diablo" wasn't spicy at all, had almost no taste, the chicken wasn't cooked nice, "Fried chicken canjun style" didn't taste like it had canjun spice on it. Desert "Coco Loco" was super.

Super lekker tapas gegeten en leuk gezeten!!

We had the tapa menu after 18:00 and we were told that it would be enough for 6 people The plate we got was barely a portion for 1. The majority was of the dood was tasty but way too little

Wil je echte Spaanse tapas eten? Dan moet je naar ElBully gaan. Het was of ik weer thuis in Spanje was. Tapas super van kwaliteit, medewerkers een dikke vette 10 en dan ook nog uitzicht op zee. We komen zeker snel terug👍

Great location, and also good service. I ordered the T-bone steak, with pepper sauce and fries. As tapas, I tried the fried sardines and bread with aioli. I think the sardines were cooked perfectly, and the portion was good. The steak was cooked a little over medium for me, while I asked for it to be medium. I was not a fan of the sweet marinade they've used for the steak, and I was also not impressed by the pepper sauce. It could have been better if the cut was thicker. The portions were good, and more than enough. Just somehow, I find the food just decent. As for the price, well I think it's just as expensive as all the other beach restaurants.

Essen ,Getränke sind ganz gut. Nur bitte bei der Kartenzahlung aufpassen nicht das statt 100 € 1000 € eingegeben werden.

Vriendelijke bediening. Eten was goed maar bestel je vlees dan komt patat, saus en mayo b.v. er nog extra bij. Als je dus bv biefstuk besteld wordt er gevraagd wilt u patat of aardappeltjes erbij, saus en mayo erbij en ja zeker als je in gezelschap bent let je daar niet op. Maar het zou een stuk klantvriendelijker zijn als daar iets van te voren over gezegd wordt, dat dat dus er nog apart bijkomt. Wij vonden het redelijk goedkoop in vergelijking met andere tenten maar volgende keer gaan we toch ergens anders heen want nu is goedkoop duurkoop geworden. Jammer
