Amazing food in a comfortable atmosphere with relaxed yet professional service. We tried a lot of exciting cocktails and Mezcal, they were all great. Try the boneless ribs, they are probably the best I have ever had!

We went for a late dinner and were welcomed by a very hospitable manager. Outstanding service. Great food and some fantastic Spanish wines. A very interesting winelist. Highly recommended .

Disappointment... the two tapas we came especially for were sold out :(. Furthermore, quite pricey for what you get. A shame, because I was very enthusiastic last time.

We come from the other side of the country and had our best dinner here 3 years ago. We had always wanted to go back, and we did so last weekend. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out as hoped. The place is still just as beautiful and the staff very nice. But the food was nowhere near what we had expected and hoped for. Hopefully, it will return to its former glory soon, because it is such a shame. One tip, though, regarding something we also found to be a downside last time: The acoustics are very poor, making it difficult to understand the waiter.

Online it says it close at 00:00 and when I ordered wine at 23:15 they told me it’s not possible anymore because we close, and I come here only because it’s till 00:00! I spent 100_+€ and was refused for two more cups of wine

Came for lunch. Ordered the cod fish and it came with risotto. The risotto is nicely cooked and packed with umami. The boneless iberico pork ribs is nice and slightly on the sweet side. The staff will check on us to make sure everything is ok. Beer is smooth.

A brilliant experience. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in The Hague. A cosy atmosphere, delicious dishes, beautifully presented, original, and top-notch service. Very friendly staff who go out of their way to ensure you have a fantastic time. We booked the chef’s table, which added an extra special touch to our visit. And I’d like to take this opportunity to ask all residents of The Hague… Please don’t just throw your cigarette ends on the street. After just a short walk, we’d already spotted thousands of them! Or do take the time to clear them up every now and then.

A fantastic 6-course dinner, with the highlight being the pan-fried octopus in a spicy tomato sauce with vegetables. In fact, all courses were very tasty. It was nice to see how the chef prepared the courses; I learned a lot as an amateur cook. The combinations were well explained. The service is attentive and caring.

This is absolutely below any expectations. Lazy, arogant service, very long waiting time for each dish (there were 6 guests in the restaurant). We were eating lunch for 3hours, although we mentioned that we only have 2h. Foodwise - for this price - with whole respect- i expected much more.

The food was quite simple and bland. The bread with Serrano ham and sliced ​​tomato was something you could easily make at home. The lobster stew was tasteless and lacked any flavor. The waiter was very friendly.

Very disappointed. The food is well designed and unprofessionally prepared. Half of almonds are not crunchy and fresh seems they were leftovers from the night before, and they added the fresh ones to mix. You can even use it to test if you are lucky or not today. Two of the oysters are not opened in a proper way. The cook even doesn’t know how to pick a ready-to-eat avocado, it’s an avocado need to be opened next Tuesday and I find shells in the tiny piece of crab. The octopus is over valued, it’s a teenager octopus with small legs. And the taste of the dishes is average, even in a Dutch standard. All the bowls and even glasses are chipped. I had a pre-lunch here on a Sunday noon, maybe the pro team is not on duty yet. And I am happy that I didn’t order more and change to another restaurant. You really need to be drunk to ignore the negative parts. It’s sponsored on Google, while I do hope they can spend more money on the food quality and service. Not recommended.

Visited today, absolutely no welcome! Konstatina (tall woman with a ponytail) was really mega arrogant! Also, we had some sort of mini ragouts with sour sauce, it was 5 instead of 6, eventually got something else, 1 large one with mega hot sauce, no apology or explanation either... thrown on the table. Also, you couldn't wash your hands in the toilet due to a blockage (but no other alternative... filthy!!). The music was also really mega loud!! You couldn't understand each other unless you screamed loud! And absolutely no atmosphere!! Last year when we were at your place it was totally different!!! And my compliments on the cocktails, they were really perfect!! Later, a small woman with glasses came in who was friendly... I don't mind spending money, but we won't be coming here again!! Also, it wasn't busy or anything, almost empty so that couldn't be the reason!! Last year the place was absolutely packed and we were served properly!

This restaurant was a lovely discovery. We were here on a Monday evening and so the place was not very crowded and we had a nice table by the window. I loved the decor, the open bar and high ceilings. Service was very welcoming and professional. We opted for tapas and the portions were right for the two of us. The food was beautifully presented and the dishes unique. I loved the dates with blue cheese and the avocado with crab. Overall a great experience and I can't wait to go back.

We had a delicious chef's menu (7 courses) for my birthday. The flavors of the dishes were good, and we drank a delicious vinho verde with it that was recommended to us by one of the friendly waitstaff. Everyone was very nice. Excellent!

The Hague is slowly sinking into the quagmire of a car-free infrastructure that makes the city yearn for times gone by. Whereas a resident of The Hague back then would go somewhere to 'dine', nowadays people just go out for a quick meal. Everything has to be 'ordinary' above all, and the word quality is overshadowed by quantity. I think with nostalgia of the significant bookstore De Vijf Vocalen, which, after 300 years, has made way for Tapisco. However, we can speak of a worthy successor when it comes to expertise and hospitality stature. I can summarize my first visit briefly as follows: I am already looking forward to the next time! Plenty of choice for both large and small appetites. Spanish-oriented menu. Cold and hot dishes to share. Also dishes to eat in.

Exquisite and original food. We especially enjoyed the potato salad with crab, the shrimp croquettes, and the eggs. They even made us fresh orange juice on the spot, even though it wasn't on the menu.

Very nice restaurant. This was recommended by a colleague and I enjoyed padron peppers and croquettes but the other dish wasn’t to my taste. Service was a bit slow especially for brining me the bill. I asked 3 times before the bill was presented to me.

Galician mussels with cauliflower and slime peas in saffron are a peculiar combination, and other dishes haven't had any successful experiences. Sorry, this chef is pushing it too far.

We're baffled as to why this restaurant has been awarded a Bib Gourmand Michelin. It's also a mystery why reservations are recommended. We were given a two-hour time slot, which is unusual because, in this setting, only two tables were occupied, including us. The ambiance is spacious and beautiful; you feel like you're in a chic Spanish restaurant. We opted for the shared dining menu. The presentation of the dishes looked promising, but the taste was disappointing, with the exception of the Iberico croquettes, the beetroot rib salad, and the wild mushroom risotto, which were delicious. The dishes came by at a rapid pace, until they gave way to a long wait for the next dish. The restrooms were accessed via a long staircase downstairs, which we found very unkempt and inadequate, compared to the beautifully maintained ambiance upstairs. The price-quality ratio is completely out of proportion. We definitely expected more. Such a shame.

Unfortunately, the Michelin recommendation did not meet our expectations. The quality of the preparation and the ingredients fell significantly short of expectations in almost every course.

We love good and inspiring food. For our visit to The Hague, we chose Tapisco based on its Michelin recommendation. Our impression was very mixed. We found the service to be very attentive and friendly, and the ambiance was lovely. We ordered the "Chef's Menu," which I expected to be something like the restaurant's "calling card." The selection of dishes was high-quality: oysters, salmon, octopus, prawns, and beef tartare. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was not. The beef had no flavor of its own, and the octopus was tough. The selection of dishes wasn't typical for tapas/petiscos, at least not for us. Overall, we were disappointed. We expected more from a restaurant with a Michelin recommendation.

A wonderful discovery for New Year's Eve! The calamari were delicious.

Been here for the 2nd time. Much better this time. Maybe it was because being way earlier, less crowded. We were two adults. Had a selection of starters, tapas and a desert. Everything was cooked perfectly. Service took care to serve our meals in an order they feel they match best with each other. Bravo! We ate a lot. For a tapas bar it’s on the pricier side but still okay-ish. My friend with Russian roots loved the Pavlova (and a German like me has to admit it looked great). Unfortunately no rosés available, but the white and red wine I had were excellent. Already checked my own dealers for availability. We booked through their system a dinner slot. After we already stayed longer than we had booked, service asked whether we were under pressure. Odd they don’t correlate their bookings to the tables. Yes we were under pressure and they helped us to meet our timeline. Nice we weren’t pushed as we still were waiting for the last course. Will absolutely go there again. If prices stay okay. (Management, take that seriously). It is within a few steps from my favorite hotels.

I celebrated my birthday here last year, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The service was fast, friendly, and very attentive, which made the celebration even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a special occasion. Slowest service I have ever encountered, we have been sitting there for half an hour very hungry until we got a tiny salad, the dishes weren't brought together they kept us waiting forever for food or service, the food is mediocre, small and overpriced I am so disappointed I'm literally writing this while still sitting at the restaurant

Beautiful surroundings. Friendly but slow and untrained service. The chef's table offers a beautiful view of the kitchen. The kitchen staff is very controlled and focused. The dishes are delicious. The flavors aren't all balanced. The pickle is too strong. The flavors are overused in various dishes. Lots of potential and definitely worth a second visit.

This should not be a Bib Gourmand by Michelin. Service is not on level, food is just so-so, mussels were even dangerously undercooked. Space is big, but not well heated, even cold with a breeze throughout. We had to wait 50min for our first appetizers… not coming back here, don’t recommend!

Yet another head-scratcher from the Michelin Guide in The Hague. How this place snagged a Bib Gourmand is beyond me. 🤔 The location itself is nice — right in front of the Kneuterdijk tram stop, across from the VOCO IHG hotel, and just a short stroll from our Hotel des Indes. So far, so good. My husband made a reservation for lunch, which turned out to be completely unnecessary — there were plenty of open tables. We sat down and ordered their “bread service,” which turned out to be… grocery store bread with a side of EVOO from Greece. Now, this is supposed to be a Spanish restaurant, so I’m not sure why we’re doing Greek olive oil here. Nothing against Greek oil (love it, actually), but it just didn’t make sense. The bread itself? Meh. And yes, you pay for it — which I know is pretty standard in the Netherlands, but still. For our meal, we just ordered a few appetizers since we weren’t that hungry and had another reservation later. We got the sardinas anchoadas — just three little slivers for 10 euros; shrimp croquetas that barely tasted like shrimp and were overcooked by about 30 seconds (the color gives it away and you bite into a over crispy bite that skins your whole roof of the mouth; and sobrasada, which was chorizo on brioche. Except the “brioche” was not fresh at all — it was basically sliced white bread cut into a circle and toasted. Come on, guys. We also ordered a board of jamón ibérico, which should’ve been glistening with that beautiful marbled fat, but it looked dry and lifeless. None of these dishes were standouts, and honestly, not one of them was worth writing home about. We had three glasses of wine with our food, followed by coffee, verbena tea, and crema catalana for dessert. Again — nothing bad, just nothing special. Everything felt… average. And for the prices they charge, that’s a no from me. The bill came to about USD 120.

Nice restaurant, good service but food was not special

After a few good experiences, today was unfortunately a disappointment. After ordering and enjoying a snack, the main course was delayed. After a 45-minute wait, one staff member told us it would be right back, while another told us the order hadn't come through. Our patience was at an end, so we left. After waiting a while, the otherwise very friendly bartender was willing to give us the bill, explaining that the dishes we hadn't received had been removed from the bill. No apology, no gesture, nothing. The chef also completely distanced himself. It was a shame and disappointing.

The food was fantastic!! The service was very friendly and welcoming! We booked the chef's table and were able to see into the kitchen. It was great fun, although sitting on a stool or high bench for two hours isn't exactly comfortable, but it was undoubtedly for a better view of the kitchen. And the price was also very reasonable. Including a bottle of wine and a bottle of water, the three of us paid €135 and had more than enough food. 👌🏼

We had a chef's tasting menu with wine pairing. The food was good and tasty, not overly special, but just enjoyable. The wines came in good glasses, too bad the staff couldn't really tell us anything about them. All in all, we had a lovely, long evening of dining.

They took our reservation but when we got there, they told us the “Kitchen was closed because it was slow today.” No call, no text, no information at all. The excuse was “you have an international number.” This is what passes for a Michelin Star restaurant these days? Being disrespectful is never okay no matter how good you are.

We had a fantastic meal. We had the Chef's Menu with matching wines. Very enjoyable, and highly recommended.

Good Tapas, ok service, but not much atmosphere. It was quite costly for the food that we ordered, but I think most Tapas restaurants outside of Spain are much more expensive and usually too fussy and miss the mark.

The staff were warm and friendly and the atmosphere was very comfortable but the food was less than we were expecting for a restaurant with a Gourmand Bib. Over the course of the evening we selected mostly seafood dishes but they were not very flavoursome or interesting. We would also argue that they were not particularly Spanish. They were very simple and lacked inventiveness or tradition. The former menu was more interesting and more value for money.

A lovely, clean restaurant with an open kitchen. The service is friendly, attentive, and flexible. On Tuesday evenings, there's a pleasantly calm atmosphere, even in a busy restaurant, which also makes it attractive for business guests. I was very pleased with the menu design – it offers a choice between medium and large portions, allowing two people to enjoy a generous portion of the menu. Furthermore, the dishes are well-presented and flavorful, though they could sometimes use a bit more kick. The mussels, however, were truly excellent!

This tapas restaurant is located in the center of The Hague and has a nice look. There is a relaxed atmosphere. Not a fan of tapas, but still decided to eat here. The food was fine, with a few dishes that were really delicious. The Empanadas were a bit less tasty. Overall the food was good. The service could be a bit more proactive. The prices are on the high side.

Everything was very tasty, the portions are of course not that big as tapas are, but we were still full.

Great place for drinks and tapas

A blasphemy addressed to Spain This so-called Spanish restaurant is an insult to actual Spanish cuisine. We ordered marinated salmon and anshoa for appetizers — what we got were a few tiny slivers, barely enough to taste. For mains, we had two shrimp croquettes that didn’t even taste like shrimp, and some slices of jamón on a baguette passed off as tapas. That was it. We paid 61 euros and left genuinely hungry. If you’re looking for real tapas or anything remotely resembling Spanish hospitality or flavor, stay far away from this place. Moreover, they came to clean up the table while we were still chewing.

The combination of Spanish and Portuguese dishes to share was great! We opted for the chef's table where we saw everything being prepared. Delicious food and drinks. The restaurant is also stylishly decorated with a nod to Portuguese and Spanish interior design. An absolute must for us!

Ended up here via Michelin Guide and you actually expect what you have always come to expect from those types of restaurants. I think we had too high expectations based on the appearance of the website. The hot dishes were nothing special and you can't go wrong with cold dishes. It was also a shame that they didn't have sangria, which is exactly what you look forward to when you eat tapas. The service was okay, but somehow we didn't really feel like guests. We can't really put our finger on it, but it was a shame.
