By far the best restaurant in Enkhuizen 😋😃

The food was beautifully presented by a lovely enthusiastic waiter. " How's the Shepherd salad?" " That's my favorite, I eat it three or four times a week!" The Hummus was silky smooth . We split the Lahma Bil chefs special. It is special, beautifully spiced, fragrant and aromatic. Next time we're in Enkhuizen, we'll eat there again.

Nice decor, small terrace, delicious and unique food, friendly people. That's it in a nutshell.

We had a delicious meal at Elsem. It wasn't very busy, perhaps because we arrived early. The service was excellent, super friendly, and even Elsem, the chef, came by to check on everything. Highly recommended.

We had a spectacular dinner at this Lebanese restaurant with our family. Everything from the atmosphere to the food was top tier. What really stood out for us was the kindness and hospitality. We called ahead to ask if they had fries because our daughter really wanted some and although it wasn’t on the menu, they kindly offered to make some just for her. The chef went out of his way to accommodate us which we truly appreciated. The food itself was delicious, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the love and authenticity in every dish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, welcoming place with incredible food and service. We’ll definitely be coming back

3 weeks ago we discussed whether we could place an order for 30 people on Saturday 14 June (jazz weekend). It was no problem. Possibly due to the crowds we would have to pick up the food. We contacted them again last week. It turned out that it was possible to deliver after all. Great. And what delicious food Everyone was super enthusiastic about the quality and taste and several people indicated that they would go and eat at the restaurant on the Westerstraat. In short, all stars.

Highly recommended! The food was delicious and very affordable. We were treated like valued guests, just amazing. After we left, we realized it was already 10 minutes past the restaurant’s official closing time, but no one said a word or rushed us. Truly appreciated!

Great ambiance – if it's too dark for you, they'll bring an extra lamp to your table. The food was excellent. I had the oven-baked shoulder of lamb, which was super tender and wonderfully seasoned. The portion size was absolutely sufficient for a hungry adult. The price/performance ratio is absolutely perfect. Many details show that the chef has good intentions for his guests. Fresh and delicious flavours. Recommended!

We had a really good meal. The chef came out from the kitchen every now and then to ask if everything was okay. We ordered a chicken platter and prawns for main courses. We tried both (in abundance) and we were both delighted with both. The small starters were also absolutely delicious. My only criticism is that it's quite dark in there, so you can't really see what you're eating. I just managed to skip the garlic clove. But everything is absolutely recommended.

My wife and I had dinner here and we were very pleased. We shared the mixed starter and then got a hot main course. Everything was served with bread and it was all new and interesting. We didn't get dessert but the coffee after the meal was very nice. A nice experience and we will definitely come back

We were warmly welcomed by Elsem, after a disappointing service experience at Onder de Wester. Despite the crowds, we were able to go straight away and a suitable table was made for us. The staff had a lot of patience for the crowds and chaos with our children The food was generous and prepared with care. Good mezzes (hummus, babaghanoun, sigara börek) and large portions of chicken/manti with the main course. Special portions of pasta with cheese were made for the children. The atmosphere left something to be desired due to the limited lighting. We also noticed an unpleasant odor upon entering, probably from the drain. The sanitary facilities were also exceptionally clean. All in all, the inconveniences did not detract from the warm bath, the delicious food and the patient service. Thanks!

Imam bayildi dish eaten. Eggplant from the oven, filled with various vegetables and feta cheese. Served with kepse rice and Lebanese flatbread. Delicious!!! The friendly chef came afterwards to ask if we had enjoyed it. Baklava with vanilla ice cream topped it all off. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

The chicken wrap and the healthy wrap were good. However, the chicken dish and the lamb shoulder dish from the oven were really not tasty. Little taste. Very simple.

What a great tent this is! Delicious food with lots of spices and good flavors. Delicious drinks box and the main courses (the lamb tenderloin for me and the Ali Nazik for my husband) were also very popular. Very tasty and again something different. Went to eat Lebanese food for the first time, after we saw that this restaurant is now located in the Westerstraat. And it was so delicious, excellent quality of the food, very tasty. The service is also very good. The fact that the restaurant was completely full also says something. People even waited at the bar for a free table. So if you are in Enkhuizen, feel free to eat here.

First of all: this place was one of the few restaurants that offered a satisfying, vegan dinner option in Enkhuizen. I guess some of the reviews are outdated by now. I can‘t find anything to complain about. There was plenty of service staff, which was very friendly and polite, came quickly and also brought our order in a reasonable time. The dishes were great, authentic in taste and well sized (a main course and the first course platter were enough for two). The owner tool great care to welcome the guests and arrange the food aesthetically.

Bad service, not a nice atmosphere and the starters we ordered were unfortunately almost tasteless. We had to wait an hour for our starters. We only got this when we asked. Very disappointing. We cannot recommend it.

If you are in Enkhuizen and you fancy something different, and no nagging muzak with your food, then this is a culinary recommendation. Quiet atmosphere where you can hear each other at the table without having to shout. The food is prepared with love and you can taste it. The service is extremely friendly. The 5 stars are well deserved.

Everything was super delicious! The chicken kebab is highly recommended. The team and the boss are really welcoming, we will definitely be back!

If there is 10 star, I will give them all 10!!! So good food. The food was ready in about 5 minutes with such a good quality. The beef is soft and delicious. Full flavour that you taste. The people working there is what makes me the most surprised. They are so kind and nice! I only ordered a main dish, but they gave me an extra dish and bread and even a free dessert!!! Such kind people there. They literally made my day and I am so glad that I chose this restaurant. The price is also reasonable compared to what you get. I ordered the main course which is too much for me so I even took the remaining home. I am definitely happy and will recommend everyone to try at least once!

Zojuist een heerlijke linzensoep en wrap gehaald. Ik wordt blij van de eigenaar, wat een ontzettend lieve man is dat. De soep ging warm en zeer goed ingepakt met mij mee. De wrap komt in een bakje mee zoals op de foto te zien is (1 stukje heb ik er al uitgehaald) Beide smaken heerlijk. Tot de volgende keer 👍🏻

Alles war frisch und auf den Punkt abgeschmeckt. Die Mezze zum Start suchen ihresgleichen. Auch wenn es "nur" ein Takeaway ist, könnten sich hier viele Restaurants eine Scheibe abscheniden. Wir haben vorzüglich gespeist und würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Vielen Dank dem liebenswerten Besitzer!

Ein sehr freundlich geführtes Ausser Haus und Lieferungs Verkauf und Abholer Restaurant. Dennoch gibt es möglich die Mitnahmespeisen direkt vor Ort verzehren zu können. Alles, wirklich alles was wir hatten war total lecker und schmackhaft. Zu empfehlen. Fürs nächsten Mal haben wir die Speisekarte mit an Bord und lassen es zum Schiff liefern. Geniale Sache

Heerlijk afhaalgerechten gehaald, nette prijs en vriendelijk geholpen. Wij haalden af maar ze wilden het ook komen bezorgen op de camping.

Fantastisch gegeten. Het is eigenlijk meer een afhaal restaurant, maar er is binnen en buiten een tafel. Het eten komt in bakjes, dat wordt vooraf ook duidelijk gezegd. We hebben heerlijk in een fijne tuin gezeten. Eigenaar alleraardigst, met veel liefde voor het koken en eerlijke gerechten. Veel vegetarische opties ook. Alles was lekker en zeer betaalbaar.

Vandaag het kippen drumstick menu besteld het was echt heerlijk 4 drumsticks heerlijke rijst, ice tea, libanees brood en een soort van tzachiki en baklava dit is een nieuw menu in het assortiment heerlijke malse kip en dit hele gerecht voor maar 15 euro een echte aanrader 🙏 en precies optijd bezorgt door een hele leuk bezorgster 🙂
