Nice Pizza 🍕 almost like in Italy 🇮🇹, but I was not aspecting on the pizza that garlic oil better stick to the Extra Vergin Oliv Oil one ONLY !!

The best pita bread and hummus i have ever tried. So delicious. The service from Noah made the experience even better.

I had dinner here and was genuinely and pleasantly surprised. From the owner to the wait staff, everyone was exceptionally friendly, approachable, and full of positive energy. The food was delicious, high-quality, and served quickly, without compromising freshness or flavor. Delicious hummus and Israeli & middle eastern food! Pitas are sooo fluffy and are made from heaven. A small tip - ask for Arais. Even if it’s not shown on the menu, they can make it on request and it’s very delicious 🤤

Food is good but restaurant has a lot of other stuff issues. Despite this, it is quite expensive, a basic meal will be 18-25 euros per person

What a fantastic restaurant! The food was delicious – every bite bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared. The pita was wonderful and incredibly fresh! We chose the Esh Experience, and it was fantastic because you get to try so many different things! The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. Everything went smoothly and spontaneously. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Amsterdam!

Excellent pitas for a great price.

They do not put reserved sign on the table no one welcomes you at the front desk and they tell you to leave after you sit. Terrible service - haven’t tried the food or got the chance to enjoy the atmosphere

I definitely recommend eating here. The food is so good, the pita’s are so soft, ingredients and flavors are absolutely delicious. Service is also very friendly and quick. Price is also good for the amount you get.

Esh pita bar is a very cozy place with a great atmosphere. We ordered the Esh experience and were given a huge selection of delicious snacks to try. Everything tasted delicious, and there was more than enough food. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the service. Although the food arrived quickly, they didn't come back to the table after serving it to refill drinks or check on the food. We tried to get the staff's attention ourselves for refills, and later for the bill, but it was very difficult and took a long time. It's a shame, because the food is truly delicious!

Food was great service too, it tends to be busy and a bit noisy to have a conversation.

When I entered the restaurant, it was almost empty. The hostess asked me to sit at the bar and told me that it was not possible to sit at a two-person table. I have never experienced this before. I explained that I was just having a quick lunch, but she then started arguing with her colleague about whether I could sit at a table. Eventually, her colleague said that of course I could sit at a table. After being seated, I noticed that a woman dining alone at the neighboring table was seated at a regular table without any issue. Later guests were also not asked to sit at the bar. To make matters worse, the hostess whispered and giggled about me with her female colleague like a high school student. This behavior was extremely rude and deeply disrespectful. I have never encountered such unprofessional conduct from restaurant staff before.

Best pita and hummus I've ever eaten!

It's incredible to feel that anytime I am there getting my food talking in English the waiters, especially the girls are really rude if you don't talk in Dutch. I've seen few times how friendly they are with local costumers around me whenever they have been wrong with the service, they have fixed very fast. If you talk English you have to be willing to wait double time and your food is always cold and they have had a poor service.

The food was delicious and arrived incredibly quickly. The vegan options were extensive. The service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back.

we already had great hummus in Amsterdam but Esh broke the scale - far and above any others

We came on a whim last night, and despite not having a reservation Esh were able to squeeze us in - we ordered the Esh experience for 2 people, shared between 3 of us, and could barely finish it! The food was amazing and great value (the hummus and labneh were fantastic) and service was speedy - Noa was great!

Nice and cozy place. Better to book a table in advance, it was quite busy at lunchtime. The falafel pita was delicious and well-filled. The hummus was good but not enough salt.

I ordered pita short ribs and pita kebab for takeaway. They were delicious.

Really variable. Food is good. Service was pretty poor - food took 45 minutes to arrive, no cutlery arrived with the food. I had to ask and even then it still didn't come. After about 5 minutes I went up to the counter to ask for it. Food was half cold by the time we ate it. Told our server and she was apologetic but no reimbursement. I don't go to restaurants to squeeze them for reimbursements but given the shocking service I thought a token gesture would have been appropriate.

I never had Pita bread like this good! This is a lovely little restaurant near museum plein. There is a cute and comfortable atmosphere is dining room. If you want to dine here make sure you have a reservation. It’s very busy even weeks in advance. This is probably because…. The food is amazing! The fresh pita breads are the best forms of bread I’ve ever had. I asked for a short rib humus plate which they made happily. The meat was very tender and tasty. Also the chicken was very juicy and rich in flavour. The little schnitzels were a bit dry but had amazing sauce to pare. Service was excellent. We were seated immediately upon our arrival and were always treated with respect and courtesy. I definitely recommend dining here to experience this lovely food.

Superb food, lots of vegan and vegetarian food, and the experiences are just fantastic, so much variety, and the fresh pitas were just sooo good. Suitable for all spice levels too.

The food here is some of the very best in the neighborhood. It’s consistently delicious. What stands out as well is the service. I have been here probably about 20 times or so as I live around the corner and have not once encountered anything less than excellent service. Even if there’s a wait and they’re fully booked if at all possible they will try to get you a table. Love this place.

This was my first time at a Middle Eastern restaurant, but I gave it a try because I heard it was a great pizza place. It's definitely a great pizza place. As long as you like the pita with just a little spice, you'll be fine.

Ordered the chicken hummus and this hummus is the best thing I’ve ever eaten in my life. It was so so so creamy, rolls of the tongue so easily. The portion was adequate, and the hummus came with 2 pita breads. Wish i could buy some hummus back home! The food was absolutely stunningly delicious.

A place with a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere; with an exceptional staff who greeted us with the utmost kindness and charm. The food was 10/10 at a reasonable price. We came to this restaurant by chance and left absolutely delighted. Every dish was incredibly tasty. On top of that, the portions are generous and the prices are very good for Amsterdam. Ordered hummus, falafel pita, and schnitzel bites. Hummus was the perfect texture (maybe needed a bit more lemon) and the pita was incredibly substantial (falafel wasn’t the best texture but had great flavor). Schnitzel was extremely good! Like little very tender chicken nuggets! Pita breads= fluffy little clouds. A great spot for post museum lunch/dinner.

Idk how this place is real in Amsterdam… the prices are insane, the portions unbelievable and the taste is amazing. Not to mention the service was good despite it being so crowded. Honestly the short rib pita is to die for, got it every time I was here. Esh Hummus is also a must. The ugni blanc(Trebbiano for our Italian friends) is unmatched in price/taste in Ams.

Visited on a Friday evening with a reservation. Delicious hummus and a nice decor. The service wasn't very attentive upon arrival and wasn't paying attention to empty drinks. After an hour, we were asked to clear the table for the next guests. This gave us a bit of a fast-food feel.

I come from Madrid just to try the hummus and the pita as I saw it in Instagram and it looks amazing. But it wasn't just that, not only that the hummus and the pita Is amaizing, the girls that work here are super nice and really attentive. I will definitely come back tomorrow 🧆🥙🤤

The food was fine, but I stumbled over the way it was presented as "Israeli." Israeli cuisine doesn't really exist in this establishment: much of what's mentioned here has its origins in Palestinian culinary tradition. Good food deserves an honest description of its origin. And acknowledging the beautiful Palestinian culture never hurts anyone. For those who don't (or don't want to) understand me: between 200 AD and the early 1900s, only 5% of Palestinians were Jewish. 95% of the Palestinian population then consisted of Christian and Muslim Palestinians... for almost 2,000 years.

We had a delicious meal with 4 people enjoying the chef's experience. Great atmosphere and friendly service. We were advised that ordering for 3 people was enough, as it would be such a shame to throw away too much food otherwise. Kudos for this sustainable approach. And yes, it was more than enough.

Decent middle eastern food, but definitely not 5 stars. I’m guessing the people giving 5 stars have not had much food from that region. We ordered the platter which had a little bit of everything. The hummus was good but many of the other dishes were so so. Definitely did not live up to the hype.

Excellent place to order and share. They have a sharing option for two people, and it's very generous. I recommend it if you want to try a little bit of everything. The juices are also very good and made in-house with fresh fruit.

Horrible experience! We were there with our child, and the waiter did everything possible not to give us a proper table, even though many tables were free. We were seated next to the toilet — so rude! It took a long time to get the menu and place our order. Other people came in and sat down without even asking, and the waiter was fine with it. The food was okay, but the service was really disappointing.

For people from the Middle East, it might feel a bit pricey since this type of food is usually much cheaper back home. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are friendly. What a lovely place! Cozy, lots of different seating options, a bit of kids' colouring stuff, beautifully warm interiors and great service! We only had a few drinks and the classic hummus and pita. It was absolutely divine! I would thoroughly recommend for anyone that likes hummus.
