We hadn't been there in a while, and during the week we decided we didn't feel like cooking, so we went to Etenstijd. It's always striking how often other international cuisines feel cluttered. That's absolutely not the case at Etenstijd. Clean, well-maintained, the buffet looks good and tidy. The food is hot. Tables are cleared quickly.

We went here again. Not our choice, together with family. The food itself is fine. It's generously replenished and there's plenty of choice. And yet, this time I was a bit disappointed. It's a "food shed," of course, and the people who come there aren't really my kind of people. Very crowded, everyone grabbing at the food. Lots of people who feel like they have to empty the entire buffet just because it's already paid for. Children running around in front of you and making a racket. The food itself is tasty, but you quickly eat too much, too greasy and too salty, and the greasy and salty food in particular gave me a lot of trouble. From now on, I prefer to eat à la carte. In a good restaurant. Mainly because of the people. All that all-you-can-eat appeals to a certain crowd. The food is pretty good, but it could definitely be better!

Beautiful and very spacious restaurant. So much room around the kitchen area. Large and wide pathways, also very clean. Staff is super friendly and very fast too. The parking next to the building is also a big plus. I recommend this place.

Really good service, very friendly. The wok chef immediately knew which sauce I wanted, and the food was truly delicious. The atmosphere varies from day to day, but on Wednesdays and Saturdays there are lots of children, so you hear a lot of screaming and crying.

Great play area for the kids, and the food is delicious and fresh. It's strange that the same reviews were written, because my experience wasn't the same. The plates were practically pulled out of my hands, which resulted in sauce getting on my clothes. The lady didn't even apologize; she was more focused on the computer.

Tonight I ate at Etenstijd for the first time. The hospitality is far below par. At 9:00 PM, they were already busy cleaning, and preparations were already being made at the dessert bar to close and clean it. For example, the chocolate fountain had already been turned off while people were still ordering desserts. The staff at the baking tray and dessert counters gave me a look as if they were saying, "Don't order anything else, get out of here so we can finish cleaning and get home on time" (the restaurant is open until 10:00 PM). The food wasn't great either. I've been to Het Wapen van Rosmalen, which has the same owner, regularly in recent years, but this restaurant (Etenstijd Uden) doesn't even deserve one star in my opinion, while I would give Het Wapen van Rosmalen 4.5 out of 5 stars. It's a shame for such a lovely location and beautiful restaurant, because if they continue this way, I think they'll lose many customers.

It remains a good all-you-can-eat restaurant. I love coming here.

Nice restaurant where you can eat a variety of food

Disappointing experience – customer unfriendly and unprofessional Just 6 minutes before the end time, our table was completely cleared while we were getting dessert. We returned to an empty table: drinks and everything else gone. When we approached the waitress, she explained that she had been instructed to clear everything away. We asked for the manager, but by the time he finally showed up, the last few minutes had passed. His only response: "Yes, time's up, you can add 30 minutes." So, we had to pay for extra time to eat a dessert that would have fit perfectly in the last few minutes of our meal. That felt downright disrespectful. It's a shame about the service, but I won't be returning. You can eat anywhere, but hospitality and service make all the difference – and that was completely missing here.

We didn't have a pleasant experience at dinnertime. We had a reservation from 8:30 to 10:00. When we arrived, we were placed among very crowded groups. This was manageable. When we went to get our food and returned later, our entire table was covered in ice, even though we hadn't eaten it ourselves or had any on our table. Our plates had been cleared, so it was clear this was an accident by the staff, and it hadn't been cleaned up. We then asked to be seated elsewhere because we were being bothered by the groups. This wasn't allowed because several rooms were already closed. But in the room where we were seated, several tables were also empty. We weren't allowed to sit there either, even though we were the last group of people and no one else would be joining us. A while later, it was 9:30, and all the food heaters were already off, and the wok kitchen was already closing. This is quite early when you've reserved and paid for 10:00. The hospitality was very poor. Because of this, we didn't get to try the wok, and the price-quality ratio is too high. The place looks better than the food you get.

Always enjoy delicious food. Sushi, wok, Dutch, cheese, desserts: everything is delicious!

Delicious food in a nice environment

A great place to enjoy a delicious meal and sample dishes from the various buffets. From soup to fries and sushi to wok, the desserts are also delicious. Be prepared for families with children, as there are plenty of them.

The food was good, but due to a system error, they wanted to send us away half an hour early. We paid for the 2.5 hours, but after we pointed this out, the waiter started arguing with us. It's a shame, as it's otherwise a pleasant place with good food.

Lekker gegeten er is volop keus, maar wat was de bediening een afknapper. Er kon geen lachje af en wat voelde ik me opgelaten toen er om exact 20.45 een meisje kwam vertellen dat we moesten gaan, want de tijd was om, mijn gasten hadden hun nagerecht nog niet op en binnen 3 minuten stond ze er weer met de mededeling dat dit al de tweede keer was dat ze ons had verteld dat we moesten gaan. We voelden ons als kleuters behandeld. Het was de eerste keer dat we bij Etenstijd waren, maar tevens ook de laatste keer.

Delicious food, lots of choice.

It's ideal if you're with a large group. Everyone can get something to their liking. It's also ideal for younger children. Waiting in line with your plate to have something prepared isn't really our thing. If that's okay with you, it's fine. The quality is good. Not that you'd think it's exceptional. But I don't think that's part of the concept. Would I go back again? Yes, but not for a cozy or atmospheric dinner.

Beautiful place. I've been all over the world & this place is a little over priced. It's 45.00 for dinner that includes alcohol drinks. I don't drink alcohol so there should be like 2 tokens or something given when you enter for those drinks at the 45.00 pp price. Otherwise 35.00 is more reasonable. Nice place to try out but not worth my money.

Super good concept, portions sometimes a bit too big (hi hi) so you certainly can't try everything, it's really too much to mention, you should definitely have been there several times.

The real "all-in" concept with accompanying guests..... food was great, way too much choice.... and rolling out. A fantastic dessert buffet and lots of Asian options. The concept is otherwise fine, food and drinks for a fixed price. There is also a separate entertainment area for the children.

the food was fine, but I had ordered all you can eat here for 2.5 hours, but after 2 hours they came to the table that the time had run out and they said that the time had run out and I had to pay an additional 10 euros per person and, there were 4 of us, so I paid 40 euros, coincidentally this had happened to me 2 months earlier, but I still had the receipt that I had paid for 2.5 hours. Apparently it was entered incorrectly in the system and then the table on their computer screen turns red and you are rudely told that you have been sitting too long. both the clerk boy and the manager gave no apologies and were downright rude. Pure fraud and a money grab, keep your receipt even if you pay in cash, that's what they prefer. . So be careful

Very good place with a huge buffet. There are many tasty things for everyone. There is also a separate play area for children, so you can let the children play in peace.

Went on a Sunday, but my girlfriend suddenly became so ill (after some cold starters, including sushi) that we had to go home straight away... Unfortunately they couldn't do anything for us, but we did get €6 on a gift card (since we paid for 2 hours, we got the difference back with 1.5 hours)... In short, we paid €84, ate almost nothing and went home sick. A big disappointment!

A bit pricey, but you can't get better than this. Very extensive range, almost all corners of the world are represented and everything is well laid out. No pressing masses near baking trays or wok.

If you don't feel like cooking and you want all kinds of dishes, you can eat there.

The food was very varied but not of a common quality, from the griddle, charcoal even high carcinogenic black. I don't think it was properly cleaned for months. Very busy with long waiting times. Just join us. Cheap.

A more expensive version of the all-you-can-eat restaurant. Very busy on Sundays, so that you had to queue for the teppanyaki, the sushi and the toilet. Varying quality: tasty sushi but strangely tasting chicken satay. Delicious tenderloin from the wok with spicy gon bao sauce, but 'fresh' herring that had been lying around for too long... And what strange plates at the buffet food (see photo), which prove once again: chemistry is everywhere.

Excellent restaurant with a wide choice such as Chinese, wok, griddle, sushi, etc. for a fixed price 'all you can eat' on a time basis (standard 2 hours). High quality food and top hygiene. Also ideal for families with children, because there is a play area. Located in the center of Uden in a former V&D building. Recommended!

Had a pretty good time at Etenstijd.. I think the price/quality is nice. The food created "live", was nice and consistent. The sushi amongst others was also good. Nothing was really great, but everything was class for the concept of "all-you-can-eat" and great variety for everybody. Enough to drink, couple of alcoholic beverages included. Lastly the kids had a good time, someone sat down for some facepainting as-well. The kids didn't eat that great, but the pricing was fair based on their age. They surely drank enough lol Tables were being kept clean on a nice peace, no extremely tight timekeeping on your 2/2,5/3 hours which is nice, especially with kids. Atmosphere was also what to expect, which i don't really like. We came early (16.30), but already crowded. When leaving the recepetion was full with people. Frankly i am not sure how fluent and peaceful things will be if you go around 1900. Definitely don't come for peace, quiet and spectacular food. Just a good time, nice flavors and a full belly.

Good quality food. I was somewhat disappointed that it is largely Eastern oriented. Although there are European dishes, it is subordinate to Eastern. Price vs quality is reasonable. There is ample parking in the immediate vicinity. It's a shame that you don't have direct access to the restaurant from the parking garage.

On New Year's Day we suddenly had the idea to have dinner here with our family and parents. Three children, two of whom are young enough to enjoy the very nice kids club! The food was of really high quality. We have been to these types of restaurants before, but this was definitely the best in terms of food. In addition, the restaurant itself was also top-notch in terms of decoration and furnishings. Even though it is very big and there were a lot of people, it never felt very massive. The acoustics have also been taken into account, because we could hear each other perfectly at the table. There are restaurants where you are already full with this concept due to all the stimuli and noise etc. around you, but we were not bothered by that at all here. Definitely worth repeating!

No crowds because different rooms are used. No noise. Attractive interior. Food quality not great. There are better all you can eat restaurants. People with children sit in a separate room. Beautiful children's corner. Free parking nearby. Price too high compared to the quality of the food.

Met kerst geweest met 12 personen. Heerlijk gegeten, met enorm veel keuze. Het eten van de wok en bakplaat was erg lekker en mals. Alles wordt goed bijgehouden en aangevuld. Ideaal voor gezinnen met jonge kinderen, omdat ze lekker kunnen rondlopen en er een speelhoek is. Daarnaast is het erg schoon en netjes; alles wordt strak onderhouden.

Overall great experience. Our request to be seated in a quiet corner was easily granted. The food was wonderful with plenty of great options. Atmosphere was quite honestly impressive given the size of the establishment.

My bedroom has more atmosphere. You can barely read what can be found where. The place where you are sitting has red walls and that is the atmosphere. Really terrible
