This restaurant is the perfect place to relax it is very cozy with sofas outside and very different dishes in the menu in short it was a very nice stay

Good food, big portions. ‘Asian’ gnocchi with aubergine and seaweed (veg) is unusual and worth a taste. A nice place to eat al fresco by the church.

When you receive such a friendly welcome, the evening is already saved. The staff makes you feel like you're visiting friends. The menu has something for every taste; the Magic Lemonade and the Homemade Iced Tea impressed us just as much as the burgers. We would have liked to stay longer here because it was just so nice. Highly recommended.

Great place! Super friendly staff, food is very tasty, asmosphere is great, and price is very reasonable. Upon arrival, the staff (and guests) immediately thought along to make space for our relatively large company. Without even having to ask for it, we got water to settle the first thirst. We all had tostis, all were delicious.

Despite the crowds on Friday evening, we managed to get a table for dinner. We were moved from the seating area to a table once, but were then asked to move again to a different table due to a larger group. Despite this inconvenience, the dishes are unique and delicious, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is fantastic!

Attentive service and a lovely atmosphere right next to the church in the pedestrian zone. Vegetarian and vegan options available. Large portions, but a bit too large for a small appetite :) The gnocchi were okay (the pickles in the topping made it too sour for me), but the masala was very tasty.

I come here often for drinks, easily my favourite spot in Alkmaar. Food & drinks are great, service is absolutely fantastic and the prices ain't so bad either for Dutch standards! 10/10.

Wow, what a great fun restaurant with delicious dishes! This time enjoyed the Gnocchi with a sauce of fennel, artichoke and roasted hazelnut. Super tasty. Service is also very attentive and very friendly. Definitely come back to discover the rest of the menu.

What a nice, nice tent this is. Nice living room restaurant with a very cozy atmosphere. Food very tasty.

Mushroom shwarma was really too sour. It remains a matter of taste, I understand. However, I didn't get anything more than a pity in response. I think that's a shame. I had one bite of it. There was no gesture or even a question whether I wanted to order something else. I left a little surprised about this.

Very bad customer service, in their website it states if you'd like to make reservations it's only possible by calling them, the first thing when I called I asked can I make a reservation and she said "NO". What kind of customer service is this? At least provide a reason or then update your website with honest guidelines on how to make a reservation..

Very tasty halloumi burger! Very friendly staff. The burger had just a little too much ginger/sauce, which made it a little too soggy towards the end, but the taste was good. The prices were also very good, comparable to fast food but much tastier

They have delicious and original food here for a reasonable price. The menu changes regularly and every time you come there you think: Hmmm, sounds interesting, is it tasty? And the answer is yes, it is delicious. And that too for a reasonable price! Can advise everyone to go here. The disadvantage is that the tables are quite small and you don't have much space.

The concept is very nice. Reservations are limited, and if those tables are booked, you just have to wait until a table becomes available (hence the name). We had to wait outside under the heater and we were fine there. Beer, snack. 👍🏼. It was very pleasant. After about an hour we were able to enter the packed restaurant. Unfortunately, after ordering, the wrong dishes were delivered to our table (for another table). After some time our food arrived, but there too one dish turned out to be wrong. Reported it, and a little later the right dish finally arrived. And to be honest, we both thought the quality was substandard. We both eat vegetarian and continue to hope that restaurants will be really creative with dishes without meat. Unfortunately, people often return to Mediterranean cuisine. Understandable, but so much more is possible. My dish was simply disgusting and I couldn't finish it. I had accidentally tasted the previously incorrectly delivered dish (didn't immediately realize that it was not what I had ordered), and I also found it far from tasty. The staff was very friendly, but it was just too busy. Furthermore: Lots of noise from the bar (loud bangs??) and the kitchen. Smoke and gusts of cold wind passing by because people were puffing in the backyard and leaving the door open too long... It doesn't really help to suppress the feeling that this place is quite overhyped. We won't be coming back here anytime soon. Shame. It seemed so nice.

Good atmosphere, nicely decorated tent with many different tasty and surprising menu options (also vegan and vegetarian). Changing craft beer on tap and in the bottle, not your standard mass beer. Friendly staff. You can speak on the terrace. Recommended!

Delicious vegetarian dishes and very cozy.

Very tasty food, it was neat, warm welcome and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Coffee with oat milk possible. Date cake and bavette sandwich were delicious. Very friendly prices. Made a late reservation and still made an effort to reserve a table and everyone was very friendly. We were served very kindly by Sylvia! Recommended. We'll be back.

We had a very nice evening here! 🪑 setting - a cozy and creatively decorated restaurant / café. Brown pub vibes mixed with a living room atmosphere with a touch of a school canteen but also a hip cocktail bar. Difficult to describe, but super cozy. We had not made a reservation and at first we could only get a spot at the bar, but we actually enjoyed it so much that we stayed there. This restaurant has a completely different atmosphere from the outside than from the inside. The terrace looks like a standard tourist spot, but it is not. Step inside and be surprised. 🧑‍🍳 service - friendly, fast, correct. The service contributes to the friendly atmosphere of a café. 🥗 the food - the menu here is very nice. A mix of a number of standard classics such as burgers with more creative dishes with influence from different parts of the world. Because we were here after the Schoorl 10km run, I felt like having a simple “fat bite” and I went for the haloumi burger, but that is actually the least interesting choice on the menu. The (thick) fries and mayo were tasty, the burger was okay. Not very special in taste and the breaded haloumi just lacked some juiciness in my opinion. Nevertheless, he did well. The dessert, date cake, was a large unit and certainly tasty. I would really like to try more from the nice menu. 🍹 the drinks - tasty and some more unseen beers on tap and bottle. The cocktail with mezcal I tried was muy bueno. Good coffee too! 🌱 Dietary requirements - many vegetarian options on the menu. Also a variety of healthier looking options with an emphasis on vegetables. 🚽 facilities - a neat toilet, great for each other. 💰 Value for money - prices are quite standard for this type of eatery. In my opinion, value because you can have a pleasant evening here. In short, try it out for the interesting menu and cozy atmosphere.

Booked a hotel in Alkmaar, nice idea. Where are we going to eat? In the center of Alkmaar you will find a multitude of nice restaurants in fantastic historic buildings. After reading various reviews and browsing through just as many menus, I called De Binnenkomer. Unfortunately, the tables for Thursday evening were already fully booked, but no stress, the friendly employee reported. We always keep tables free for 'free walk-in'. Well, let's do that. We were received very cheerfully and hospitably by the staff. Table for 2? That was possible. As reported, there were some tables available for people who arrived on spec. The interior of the restaurant is fantastic! Slightly cozy (in all the good things in the word), nice chairs and warm lighting, which were easily surpassed by the exceptionally friendly service from all staff members. From advice on how to pronounce certain dishes to serving a delicious tequila with the main course. The food. From before to after: high level. Starter: oyster mushroom balls, pachos, artichoke and more tasty things. Main course: bavette and a Mexican stew with the previously mentioned Patron to complete the feast. After a macaron and an espresso with sambuca, this wonderful evening was over. Many thanks to the team at De Binnenkomer. Everyone here seems to keep a close eye on the customer and ensures that action is taken at the right time, with a sincere smile on their face. Have you booked a hotel in Alkmaar? Good idea. The entrance is a cozy café in the center of Alkmaar. You can easily walk there from the station and we were able to walk in straight away. It was busy but luckily we were able to get a spot. We got the drinks pretty quickly and while we were waiting we got another game, super sweet! Then enjoyed a well-made sandwich. The burger also tasted good. The service was also nice and the prices were also great! Highly recommended!

We always sit here like royalty. The experience here is constant, in the positive sense of the word. Time and time again you sit here nice, cozy, well cared for and you stay much longer than was actually intended. Very nice specialty beers, rotating tap and rotating bottle, and their own house beer. Everything on the dinner menu is also not to be missed. The outdoor terrace is also nice, even on the cold days. Fortunately, because it is often pleasantly full inside. Ps. At this establishment they have the tastiest nachos in Alkmaar. I can say that because I tried them everywhere for this research.

De Binnekomer Eetcafe: Feels Like Home De Binnekomer is less a restaurant and more a warm hug in cafe form. The vibe? Like eating at a friend’s house—cosy, inviting, and full of heart. It was packed when we arrived, but a kind couple gave up their table so we could sit together. A true act of dining heroism! The food? Pure comfort. Hearty, homey, and delicious—like your favourite aunt cooked it just for you. Would I go back? In a heartbeat. Great vibes, great food, and even greater people.

It is quite good place, but you need to wait at least 40 min to eat something. Service is really slow don’t recommend it

Always nice and cozy there, just a bit different...

There were three of us and since we didn't have a reservation, we were able to sit at the counter. We liked it there so much that we stayed to eat. The entire staff was super friendly, in a good mood and very attentive. One of the meals was served quite cold and we asked for it to be warmed up again. There was an immediate apology and we received a completely new dish. A very funny thing was a cassette recorder with experimental music in one of the toilet rooms. A must in Alkmaar, absolute recommendation!!!

Showed up very late (2130) with a large group of 7. Weren't allowed to still order in nearby places, but here no issues. Great niche beers and had an excellent burger right at the counter. Very cost atmosphere, ended the evening with some board and card games in the cosy sitting corner in the back.

What a very nice restaurant! Not only did we have a delicious and surprising lunch, the service was also incredibly warm & friendly. The interior is cozy and feels very authentic. And it's always a plus if there are oyster mushroom (bitter) balls on the menu - and they tasted fantastic too! If we come back to Alkmaar, we will definitely visit again!

Our entrance to this Eetcafé! The atmosphere, the food and drinks and the service and kitchen staff are so nice, so good and so sweet. We got to start our birthday party on Sunday. Just open an hour earlier for us. Delicious coffee, tea and date cake with butterscotch sauce and whipped cream and homemade as a start. GOLD! So grateful and happy that this is also possible. What a great find! Outstanding veg options. Had the Bloemkooltabouleh and was blown away. The combination was great and the malfatti, fried like falafel, were delicious. Friends had gnocchi and a special salmon. All were top notch.

Delicious food, the homemade iced tea is very good and the staff are above average friendly and in a good mood. There is a selection of games available, which our son especially liked. Children are welcome and were spoken to in a very friendly manner. We will come back in any case.
