It was excellent. We have dined several times at a restaurant in South Limburg that was close to a Michelin star; that was an experience. Here, it came very close! The quality of the food was very good, but the experience came from the service and their welcome. Knowledgeable, informative; in short, a very successful evening. Worth repeating.

What a fantastic place. I enjoyed the delicious food and the cozy atmosphere so much. The service was really super friendly.

We went there and had a fine time. It is a very nice location. The food is okay. Unfortunately, they forgot about us (that can happen), but after that, everything surrounding the food became a bit chaotic. The website states that vegetarian options are available, but perhaps because they had already forgotten about us, my vegetarian meal didn't go very well. For the first course, there were no vegetarian substitutes for the meat, so I shared the vegetarian options with my friends, who had 4 other options. For the main course, they forgot that a vegetarian plate was supposed to be served, so I ate after my friends. It was the same as the meat dish, only instead of a piece of meat, it was a kind of vegetable/egg cake; this felt more like a "we have to offer vegetarian" attitude rather than a good vegetarian option. The restaurant certainly did their best, apologized multiple times, and removed most of the drinks from the bill. My biggest point is that I would not recommend it for people who eat vegetarian. Despite the website stating that this is possible, it doesn't come across as if they have really good vegetarian options. Considering the price and the waiting time, I find that quite disappointing. Additionally, I have doubts about the marking around "local"; in the restaurant, they told me it was imported from Italy (so not local), but we had strong doubts about that as well. Fortunately, we were pleasant company, so it was certainly not a bad evening.

Perfect food and drinks. Great atmosphere

For authentic Italian dining, featuring the finest ingredients and exquisite flavors, this is the place to be. Situated in a converted stable, you will experience delicious food in a unique atmosphere. And with the 'chef's choice' menu (naturally, dietary requirements and allergies are taken into account), you are served a beautifully balanced dinner that will make you want to book your next visit even while you are still dining.

A really great restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. Never thought eating in a "barn" could be so much fun. The food is good, but it just lacked that little something special to match the atmosphere. The wines are well-chosen. All in all, worth the detour.

Service and atmosphere were top-notch. The meal started well with the antipasti, but the risotto was disappointing. The grain and portion were too small. The meat from their own farm was disappointing; the sirloin was dry. Dessert was okay.

What a fantastic experience this was. We had a delicious meal and everything was taken care of down to the last detail. The main course, in particular, with the perfectly prepared vegetables and tender cuts of meat, was a delight. The plating is truly beautiful and shows how much attention the kitchen devotes to the dishes. The presentation of the antipasti, including the grilled zucchini and olives, was also a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. We will certainly be back here soon for a next time.

This review is about the shop they have, but I couldn’t find a special site or location about the shop specifically. So that’s why I made this picture about the opening hours. A nice shop with good Italian products.

Perhaps we were not there on a good day. The wait was 20 minutes before we were offered a drink, and the tablecloth was completely wet and was not replaced, even after a promise and after we asked for it. The wait staff could not tell us what the ingredients of the dishes were (e.g., what kind of risotto we would be served), and after assuring us that there was no pork in the omelet, it turned out there was bacon after all. The risotto was just slightly overcooked, and the tiramisu was unbalanced, far too sweet. Unfortunately, much more went wrong, particularly with the service, but I will leave it at that for this review.

Delicious food and cozy spots to sit. Sometimes it took a little longer for the next course to arrive, but that was the only minor point and it was worth the wait ☺️

We had a delicious Italian meal; on Fridays, that means a four-course dinner. The antipasti were truly delicious and varied, along with ravioli, roast chicken, and of course, tiramisu for dessert. I think the main theme was lemon, but it was perfectly balanced across the different dishes. The accompanying wine was excellent (Pinot Giorgio). So, regarding the food, it is highly recommended. The only point of criticism was that we asked for bread and drinks twice, and they forgot. See you next year.

Very cozy atmosphere; you shouldn't be in a rush because you sometimes have to wait a bit longer for your food. Personally, I didn't mind, but keep that in mind. So, in the summer, you can enjoy sitting outside. They have a fixed menu.

All expectations were met. Wonderful Italy in the Netherlands. It was pure enjoyment.

We ate here recently and immediately fell for the atmosphere and location. The staff was super enthusiastic and worked incredibly hard. We felt the evening was overbooked, as there was quite a long wait between courses (1.5 hours between starters and intermediate courses). The starter, the antipasti this time, was delicious and flavorful. Plenty of different flavors and textures. The intermediate course, ravioli, was undercooked. The main course and dessert were fine. As far as we are concerned, the atmosphere is really nice, but we had expected more from the food.

Restaurant in a former cowshed. Italian-style dining. With a small shop where you can buy Italian goods.

Our experience was overall pleasant, thanks in part to the service: we were looked after by a Dutch woman who spoke Italian, courteous and attentive, who helped make the experience particularly enjoyable. The atmosphere is rustic and consistent with the farm setting. The food is interesting, albeit with a few flaws. In particular, the tiramisu seemed overly sweet, lacking the balance one would expect from a traditional classic. The service times, however, seemed excessively long between courses, which made the experience less seamless than it could have been. A small final detail could have elevated the experience even further: we noticed that limoncello was being offered to other tables, a gesture we would naturally have appreciated as well. These are small touches, but they leave a more harmonious memory. A place that could stand out even more with greater attention to detail.

We sat down with 14 people for a birthday dinner. Nice atmosphere in the old stable. Friendly staff who come by often enough to ask if glasses need refilling. The menu of the evening was explained well, and the person with allergies (mentioned when booking) received a full alternative if he could not eat a dish.

Really enjoyed the food. And it was a nice break that we could walk to the stable for a bit.

Charming restaurant, where we thoroughly enjoyed a delicious, extensive, multi-course lunch. You can also add a delicious wine pairing with an explanation of the origins of the various varieties. There's no menu, just a selection of regional Italian dishes, all delicious. A short break along the way allowed us to stretch our legs and browse the shop, which also sells delicious Italian products. Highly recommended; make sure to book in advance!

Great atmosphere and well decorated Italian fattoria/agriturismo! For a moment you can imagine you are in Italy, especially when you also see the lovely chianina cows and the italian shop where you can buy many nice italian products. We arrived 5 min before 1pm on a Sunday with a reservation for 1pm lunch. The restaurant was already packed and some people were already receiving their amusebouch. If we would have known you can arrive eralierit, it would have been helpful with our time management. It took 40 minutes for us to receive our amusebouch and that was a long wait conssidering I was joined by a child that was hungry. Food was ok - especially the main dish which was well constructed and tasty. The to share platter was ok, but I was hoping to see more traditional Italian salumis. The desert was a bit disappointing for me, the tiramisu was very, very sweet and not very flavorful. To be fair, I judged this restaurant to standards with similar agriturismo's in Italy - that's why the higher expectations. Service was very attentive and friendly! It is definitely a place to try and I would be curious to return when they refresh the menu for next season.

The food was truly fantastic, let's be perfectly clear about that. Beautiful, delicious, and flavorful dishes, and I'm a fan of the agriturismo concept. I found the restaurant itself less appealing in terms of atmosphere and comfort (small, close-knit tables). But we had a wonderful evening.

Cozy location, but the space is small and crowded, and the acoustics are poor. We had lunch, a four-course meal. The main course was fantastic. Expect to spend 3.5 to 4 hours there. The wine is excellent.

What a charming place, and Wednesdays are especially fantastic, a three-course dinner including wine. Fantastic. We usually go once a year because it's always packed. The vegetarian dish has been the same for three years now, but no matter how delicious it is, it's no longer a surprise.

Italian but with local produce… We will be back for sure. Service - very friendly. They are not slow because they work incredibly hard, just have some patience with them. Love the fact that they explain everything. Food - DELICIOUS! Not sure what they do with their vegetables, but yummmm so sweet. Meat is incredible and the portions are more than enough. We had a 4 course dinner. The best part? No menus. Everyone eats the same. Just simply the menu of the day. Atmosphere - lovely. Like Italian farm setting. Amazing to sit outside in the summer. Location - not sure if it’s easy accessible by public transportation but you can park your bike or car easily. Price - very reasonable for what you get and especially in the Netherlands. Great restaurant with a 100% agriturismo feel

We had a truly delicious meal here on a Sunday afternoon. The food is simple but incredibly well-prepared. The staff is friendly and very accommodating to dietary requirements. Personally, we found sitting at the table for almost 3.5 hours a bit too long, so we just missed out on 5 stars.

We gingen met een zeer onvoldaan gevoel naar huis. Men pretendeert hier volgens het agriturisme te werken. Daar hebben wij compleet andere ervaringen mee. Er heerst een soort arrogantie tegenover de klant en die is nogal misplaatst. Eten was echt onvoldoende, een stuk droge kipfilet als hoofdgerecht, tussen de gangen ellenlang wachten, we eten buiten(!), geen keuze dus. En dan...hoe kan je 80 mensen bedienen met 2 mensen?? Hoe makkelijk is het om voor 80 personen hetzelfde gerecht te bereiden? En nog lukt dat dus niet. De sfeer en aandacht voor de betalende klant is ver te zoeken. Nee de koffie nemen we wel thuis, voor ons geen 2e keer. Helaas. Ze zijn blijkbaar heel lang geleden nog in Italië geweest. Jammer

We went home with a strange feeling. They pretend to work according to agriturism here. We have completely different experiences with that. There is a kind of arrogance towards the customer and that is rather misplaced. The food was really inadequate, a piece of dry chicken fillet as a main course, waiting a long time between courses, we eat outside (!), so no choice. And then...how can you serve 80 people with 2 people?? How easy is it to prepare the same dish for 80 people? And still that doesn't work. The atmosphere and attention for the paying customer is nowhere to be found. No, we will have the coffee at home, not a second time for us. Unfortunately. Apparently they were in Italy a long time ago. Too bad

I had dinner here on a Friday night. Expectations were very high, had to make a reservation weeks in advance. Dinner started with anti pasta. Why so many tapas? Then a risotto with cheese that was not cooked. The next dish was a small piece (cube) of meat that was lukewarm and tasted like nothing. The dessert was nothing special, a scoop of ice cream and cheese. The time between the dishes was exceptionally long. Fortunately, the wines were tasty and the service very friendly. The bill? Over €80,- pp. I am happy to pay that for good and tasty food. And unfortunately I did not do that.

Delicious authentic Italian food. The table is filled with antipasti if you are with a group. The interior of the farm really reminds you of an evening in an Italian restaurant. No menu, the chef decides. You will not find an experience like this in many places in the Randstad.

We had lunch here on Sunday afternoon. Completely full, cozy restaurant area in an old farm. Part of it is still in operation. There is also a shop where you can buy all kinds of Italian delicacies. Just before the main course you also get the opportunity to walk around the yard. A 4-course chef's menu is served and that is more than enough. Excellent quality. Tip. You have to book well in advance!

Wow! What a beautiful place to have an extensive and good Italian dinner. We had to make reservations far in advance, but it was definitely worth it. We would love to come back again.

The food was excellent—both the entrée and main course were delicious, and the meat was incredibly tender. The pasta course in between wasn’t my favorite, though—it was unfortunately overcooked. Pasta is best served al dente, and this one missed the mark. The two ladies working there are absolutely lovely and provide warm, attentive service. However, with just the two of them managing such a large space, the pacing is understandably slow. There were longer-than-expected gaps between courses, especially considering it’s a fixed menu. That said, the overall experience was wonderful, and the atmosphere was charming. I’d still recommend it!

In the middle of the polder, this is a beautiful cross between Italy and Holland. Italy predominates, but the combination is great. Cozy and homely and fantastic fresh food.

Very nice place to eat and it is very tasteful. If we may mention a disadvantage it is the wooden chairs. It looks nice, but it is not comfortable at all. This is about dining for an evening (18.45-23.00), then a nice chair is required.

What a great restaurant this is!! When you drive onto the site, expectations are not yet high. Then it takes a while to find the entrance, but once inside it immediately feels good. The interior is attractive and the welcome is warm. When the dishes and wines arrive, the real enjoyment begins!! Many courses follow with many different dishes and matching wines. All this really tastes great!! Between courses there is time for a walk through the stables or to sit at the table. It has been ensured that after an afternoon of full enjoyment you are just full enough in terms of food and drinks and that you can go home satisfied. This restaurant is a hidden gem and hopefully it will remain that way for a long time because we will return here often! 15-2-25 After having been here many times, last night was another surprise and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The hostesses are great and always provide a warm atmosphere of casualness and cheerfulness, which gives that extra something to an evening out that not many restaurants have!! Had lunch here 3 times in company during the weekend, 1st time excellent, 2nd time it was slightly less, but today was really bad. Appetizers were fine, the second course we had Risotto, the rice was undercooked, which was a shame, but on to the next course, a steak with scallops, which was downright bad. . A very small and thin piece of meat was cooked and then apparently grilled, it was tasteless and dried out, I didn't eat it. As the 4th course a piece of tiramisu with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, ice cream was good but Tiramisu was far from what Tiramisu should be, it was dry with a lot of sugar. Service was also mediocre, if you ordered a round from the lady who served us, she had already forgotten it one table further and we got nothing. A shame because the setting is great and it used to be super good!

So wonderful, this ecological farm. The calves lie comfortably with their mother. The pigs have nice straw. The stables are nicely ventilated. There is now a restaurant in the former farm barn. All products are sourced from Italy. A farm shop sells it. Free parking space available. Here you can also have lunch and dinner in an authentic and rustic environment. Nice people.

Last Friday we were present at the Mercato. What a party! Stalls everywhere with delicious food, wine, prosecco, limoncello and that for the all-in price of €75 euros. How 🥳 What struck me is how sweet the service was and that nothing was too much. They worked very hard to give us an unforgettable evening. That was COMPLETELY successful! Thank you. 🔝

We come here regularly and it is wonderful to relax. The previous reviewer thought everything took a long time, but that's the concept. You will be under the roof all evening or afternoon. The food is excellent and often really tasty. The environment and staff are unsurpassed. Highly recommended. And yes, sometimes you smell the stable and yes, a fly can fly. That's farm food. And the pig can be on your plate the following week 😃.

Very nice ambiance. Have to take your time. For the main course it is also on first come first serve. We missed the diamond hare. Received chicken prepared with lemon. Was very tasty. The downside was the olive oil in disposable bags. Didn't really belong there.

We were there for the 4-course lunch for 50 eu pp. The location looks beautiful. You really feel like you are in Tuscany. It does take a long time before you get your starter, more than an hour. They could have at least put out a bowl of olives. There is way too much time between courses. What is also really unacceptable is that they give olive oil in bags, what a letdown! I also didn't like the lady who served very much. We had a few requests, which were followed up nicely, but she was not cordial. We were also close to the stables, so there were a lot of flies and you could smell a strong ammonia smell. For once it was a beautiful experience and fun to do. The food was also tasty. But I doubt we will return. We lost 120 eu for the 2 of us. For this amount you expect more warmth from the staff. There was also a pig in the stable, which looked very sad... But it is definitely worth doing.

A kind of tailor-made restaurant for us, that's what it felt like tonight. Delicious anti pasti, great Rosso di Montalcino, perfect ravioli and tasty chicken. Timing we like. There may be some in the beginning, then you can enjoy a nice quiet meal. Nice atmosphere, excellent service, authentic Italian food and drinks, that's what we love!

Nice and cosy Italian style farm. We have visited the Fattoria twice, in the winter and in the summer. There's a fixed menu with small seasonal variations. Antipasti were abundant and good. Only the frittata (omlet) lacked some tastes. First course - usually a small portion (2 pieces) of ravioli. Both times the taste was medium, pasta a bit dry. Main course - meat, was very tasty and tender. Friendly and attentive staff. During the last visit we experienced long pauses between the courses. At the end of the dinner, we were kindly offered limoncello and grappa, genuine italian style! In the summer, it's lovely to sit outside. The only discomfort is that the driving path to the parking is between the outside tables. Overall, I would recommend this place for a special Italian experience.
