A Dutch classic but also not so great

It's been a long time since I got to eat a grilled burger. Tasty! Has become a bit too pricey, though.

Had really tasty fries and a croquette

It's perfectly fine, but you can only sit inside.

We order Milkacakes. At first they have many flavors, not fine. We choose something else. Then later, "Yes, sorry, that flavor you just chose isn't available anymore either."

Long wait and, like all Febos, way too expensive.

The staff are on their phones a lot, are unfriendly, and they don't refill anything at the snack wall. You'd be better off going to the neighbors, Subway.

On the way home, we stopped briefly for an ice cream for the kids and a milkshake for myself. Ordering went nice and smoothly. After that, we had to wait a bit for a customer in front of us in the drive-thru. This took a little longer than expected. We were allowed to drive on and received our order. 2 soft serve ice creams... one of which was very nice, and the other looked like it had been sitting there for a while, with the top already hanging down and all the edges melted off. I made a comment about this to the employee, saying that I actually didn't think this was acceptable. According to him, the ice cream hadn't melted and this was perfectly normal. My son tried to eat the ice cream, but it soon started dripping. My daughter's ice cream remained perfectly fine and could be eaten without any problems. No more Febo Dronten for me after this!

The food is fast food, but for a hungry guy like me who has driven a little over 800 kilometers, this tasted great.

We get from Febo quite often, which is always good in itself, but this time I asked for a "patatje oorlog" (war fries) without onion. He charges 6.50 for the largest fries, and this is what I find at home: these are not large fries.

For a quick bite with friendly staff

Unfortunately, I did not have a very good experience with my order. I ordered a milkshake, but received a different flavor than I had chosen. Additionally, the fries were already cold upon arrival, which is obviously very disappointing. I did have a piece of chicken and a burger, though. I wanted to contact them to resolve this, but the phone number listed turned out to be unreachable. As a result, it was not possible to report the problem directly or discuss a solution. Mistakes can happen, but I do expect a company to be reachable when something goes wrong with an order. Hopefully, more attention will be paid to this in the future.

Make sure you don't order a large coffee; you'll pay twice the price of a regular coffee. 6.50 euros is pure rip-off, especially since it isn't even twice the quantity. Additionally, I had to pay 50 cents for the toilet. It's just FEBO, you know! Fortunately, the coffee was tasty and the service was absolutely lovely.

Got an ice cream with Lion, a huge amount of soft serve and crunch.

Amazing, A disaster, Salty, With a nasty aftertaste. I am always honest in my reviews, certainly because I don't want what happens to me to happen to others. That is why the following story, which actually summarizes all the reviews of Febo Dronten well. You order 2 portions of fries, a bear claw chicken corn dog, and a cheese puff without sauce online for 25 euros. With a note on the receipt: do not ring the doorbell, little one is sleeping soundly. The delivery was fast and friendly, and they rang the doorbell. But the contents. Packaging one portion of fries was quite wobbly. The fries were extremely salty, so salty that even my child didn't like them. What I was taught when it comes to fries and you deliver them to an address is that you put as little salt on them as possible, otherwise your fries become very soggy. But well, that kind of knowledge might not be entirely easy to digest. Fries container two. There was very little to mention. The fries could perhaps be counted on one hand and looked just as limp as boiled spaghetti. Well, fortunately, the bear claw was intact. I read a review and saw a photo of half a bear claw. Mine had shrunk, though, and the onions were black. But it was manageable. Anyway, we had paid for it, so we gave them a quick call. The young man was friendly, understood the situation, and said he would send a new container of fries. Problem solved, you might say. In short, this was not the case. 30 minutes later, a person from Febo Dronten called again. He didn't believe us and wanted a photo of the container of fries. But then again, it had already been eaten by then. We believed in this one small but expensive container of fries, but nothing had been arranged all that time, and the person cast doubt on us. But anyway, he eventually gave in, with a struggle in his voice. All's well that ends well. No. Too bad. Now comes the plot twist: the slip said do not ring the doorbell, knock on the door, little one is sleeping. But that didn't happen; the delivery person pressed the bell again and the little one woke up. Final result: ate a sandwich with my children and threw away the fries. Be sensible, Febo. PS, Febo service employee. I don't need a copy-paste message on this. Let alone a response; the fries are already soggy.

Unfortunately for FEBO, no more FEBO after today. The 'patat/friet speciaal' (special fries) was apparently made from the smallest potatoes available; all small pieces, 40% of which were burnt. The 'bamiballen' (noodle balls) have also shrunk by 30-40% compared to our last FEBO visit 5 years ago on the A4. And there is no meat left in the 'bamischijf' 😭 😭. The peanut sauce was neatly served in a container, but in such a way that the frikandel (sausage) remained standing upright in it. Last time at FEBO!!!

Vague staff; the head chef is constantly badmouthing his own staff. Tables are wiped down with a Febo napkin by their own staff. People who asked for coffee had to ask separately for sugar and milk. Someone walked up with the stirrers just in her hand. An order from someone sitting inside was passed on to other people at the Febo drive-thru. These people did receive a polite apology from the Febo chef, though. Then someone asked for the status of their order, and immediately: "WHO DID YOU ORDER FROM? THEN YOU NEED TO GO TO HIM!" All in all, a peculiar experience within a span of 10 minutes. If I were Febo Netherlands, I wouldn't let this shack be called Febo, but who am I to judge? In any case, I will never go there again; I'll just drive on to another nearby FEBO.

Once is still too much. The bamihap was as big as a snack bar for €3 and looked almost black. The bamihap took 15 minutes, which is not what you expect from a drive-through; this is more like a drive-stay. The excuse was the oil needed to be changed.

The food looks like it was fried in old fat. The fries taste like they were re-fried three times, salt and all. The milkshakes taste watery. The staff are standing outside the entrance smoking. You have to walk through the smoke to get inside. You can't get snacks from the vending machine; everything is empty. I've eaten there three times now, because you shouldn't give up after just one time. But after three times, never again.

We thought we'd just grab an ice cream; ice cream is always good at Febo. But the service, on the other hand, could really use some training. A bun and the hamburger were thrown around. And when we order a large obli cone, we expect there to be some ice cream on it. I mentioned that we are used to much better. But unfortunately, that didn't make a difference.

Amazing....more of this .. Febo Drive...one in every city...highly recommended is the 'speciaaltje'...a kind of breaded minced meat snack from the deep fryer...genius...and of course the grill burger fantastic...enthusiastic staff and quick service...will definitely come here more often...mmmmm tasty ...

This must be the absolute worst FEBO in the Netherlands. First the drive-through, waited five minutes and wasn't even spoken to. Then went inside, but left again after 19 minutes. We'll go eat somewhere else. We will be skipping this branch in the future.

I ordered a 'berehap' here; the price wasn't on the sign. I had to pay €6.30 for it. Not exactly cheap. But when I received it, I was even more shocked; this hardly looked like a 'berehap' at all! A small, thin little thing with hard black rings in between that were supposed to pass for onion. For me, the first and last time at Febo Dronten: high price, low quality.

FEBO, from top to bottom! I remember my visits to Febo years ago as a feast of croquettes, frikadelles, fries, etc. Top-notch products for a great price. Well, that's over. Now we pay top prices for products that are almost all far below par. This with the exception of the fries. The burgers are finely ground, greasy pulp, the relish is basic, and I'm putting it mildly. The croquettes contain a thick blob of what looks like tiny bits of meat. However, it tastes like nothing. The welcome at the Dronten drive-in could have been better. Placing the order was a major challenge. The Indian server was very nice but had absolutely no idea about service and communication. He did, however, know all about upselling. Almost everything on the burger menu was extra. And this applies to everything. I had to ask for the receipt three times. The cheese I'd calculated was missing, but the flattened burgers had already spoiled my appetite. This while I was really ready for dinner. So, I paid extra for a slice of cheese on an expensive burger, only to be forgotten. I wanted to mention it briefly, but then I probably would have returned the rest of the burger as pig food. Even McDonald's does this better, and that's saying something. After spending almost 30 euros on two fries (the rest was literally worthless), you then have to pay 50 euro cents for a toilet visit, customer or not. If that doesn't make you pay the piper, I don't know what will. Febo's standard apology and promise of improvement is getting really annoying. You can apologize a few times for fundamental problems, but after that, it becomes like sending people away. It takes years to build a reputation, but much less time to lose it. FEBO has become NEBO for us. I can go anywhere for good fries, and they don't have anything else, and sometimes not even that, according to repeated feedback. P.S. I just saw some older feedback, and it's pretty damn good. Apologies are cheaper than service. The satay sauce still tastes like peanut butter and water. I see, uncle, that someone has complained before about the advertised small fries not being available. This time, the excuse was "out of box." Nonsense! When we asked, after explaining four times, we finally got small fries in a medium box. The boss thought the solution was hilarious. Now it turns out this is just a regular occurrence for customers. Months of bad feedback, but no change. I'm going to share this with friends and colleagues in the area. It's clear to me now that your promises are on the same level as your cheese slices. Promises made, but not delivered.

Shameless dog food from the fryer. Brown lettuce, dry and lukewarm food, and absolutely inedible.

Unfortunately, I can't give less than one star. This is a terrible experience. You can skip both the drive-thru and home delivery. Very poor service and very poor quality. I ordered food through the drive-thru, and the only car there was there, and I still waited 45 minutes without anyone opening the window. I drove around again and was told, without an apology, that it would be made. The following week, I made the mistake of having the food delivered to my home. I contacted them an hour later because I was still waiting for the food, and a person who spoke broken English told me it was already in the car and would be delivered in 10 minutes. After receiving everything, I was ripped off with the fries I ordered medium and the small ones I received. The bear snack was completely cold and soggy. Tip for the next person: don't eat here!

I ordered food yesterday. After waiting an hour, I called and they had forgotten my order. 10 minutes later, I had my food. But everything was soggy; the fries were soggy. Berenhap was soggy. The entire container and bag containing all the food was soggy and soggy. And when I called about it, they spoke broken English to me. I think this is a very bad deal. Febo isn't one of the cheapest, so you deserve a little quality and service in return.

Tried it a second time. It was a huge disappointment again. Hygienic issues too... the employee emptied the trash and then started taking orders without washing his hands. Brrrrr.

Had a tasty croquette at the FEBO drive-thru, just as you would expect from FEBO. Crispy on the outside, deliciously creamy on the inside. Got free sauce. Just a shame it's in Dronten. 5 stars

Excellent, tasty chicken wings. Bigger and tastier than KFC. They could be a little less cooked, though.

Febo stands for quality in my mind, but yesterday in Dronten, I was hit hard by that: The noodle dish was inedible, the satay sauce unrecognizable as satay sauce, and absolutely not tasty. The employee politely asked if it tasted good. Our "well, no" was met with a "too bad!" with a smug smile. If you can't handle honest answers, don't ask them. Never again.

The food is okay, but it has nothing to do with Febo anymore. The idea behind Febo is that you pop in to grab a snack from the vending machine and then drive on after two minutes. However, the snack wall is always empty, and I waited over fifteen minutes for my simple snack while no one was there before me. Pretty crappy.

The mineral water and energy drink were fine. The rest of the food was just plain awful. It was served neatly at the table, though.

FEBO is always special, it's a shame we have to drive far for a delicious croquette. The Assen area is highly recommended.

Typical FEBO, but with a drive, better well stolen than poorly conceived. But a FEBO croquette is always delicious.

Bad experience! Ordered one medium milkshake, one medium cappuccino, and went to the bathroom: total €9.75. Turns out a cappuccino is €5.50!! So, I say, really? He starts yelling at me, and you guys (I was alone, my husband was still in the car) just order and find everything too expensive, etc. Ugh, the coffee tastes much worse, even though it's supposed to be a treat. But I'm never going back!

We thought it would be a nice trip to FEBO, but unfortunately, the fries were inedible, fried twice, and all hard. Simply put, they were not tasty and way too expensive. It's a shame, so we won't be going to FEBO again. We did mention it, but there was little response.

I thought I'd grab a quick bite, but despite the three of them chatting, it takes a ridiculously long time to get served. I was in a hurry, so I left.

Your food is prepared with disinterest. Mine had all the sauce on the tip of the baggie that came with the sandwich, and a super thin Hamburger for just over 5 euros. I think it's truly outrageous.

I just got a cheeseburger at Febo in Dronten. The price for a single cheeseburger, according to the sign, was €4.60, but at the cash register it was €5.60. I asked the friendly clerk, and he said, "We have new prices, but we haven't replaced the sign." I told him I wasn't okay with this and that they should keep the prices on the sign or put the new prices on it. He couldn't do anything about it. I find this very unfriendly to customers.

Fries are sold at a high price here. The price list also shows small fries, but you can only order medium or large. It's a bit of a scam to inflate the price this much, especially when the price of potatoes is actually very low due to a surplus. Shame on you, FEBO!

I just placed an order with your company, and you decided to drive to Biddinghuizen first and then to us in Dronten. I think this is absolutely disgusting, and I would like to receive compensation because I think this is unacceptable. Furthermore, I want customer service to be improved because the first time I called, we were told it would take another 5 minutes (it actually took 30 minutes), and I called several times since then, but no one answered. I also find it disrespectful that my order didn't arrive in its entirety because I had to drink my entire milkshake (which was a fake, not a drink or anything) without a straw.

Chicken? Dry. Fries? To much salt. Milkshake? The best. Burger? Absolutely amazing.

Yes, when you're chatting and on your phone, things can go wrong. It also went wrong for a man after us. But he immediately complained about it loudly. Next time, we'll go to the neighboring Subway. The specialty was hot and tasty, but it still needed to be fried. The fries had been sitting in a container for a while. So lukewarm and limp. Such a shame.

What a rip-off!!! I wanted four children's ice creams, but one without a cone. A children's ice cream cost €1.40, and I had to pay €4 for just the soft serve ice cream in a container!!! I ordered a large fries package, but he forgot to make them. After waiting 15 minutes, I asked where my fries were. He gave me a few fries first. Luckily, I saw on the way that the bag was only 1/4 full. So I walked back and asked if he'd made the wrong size, and he simply said, "Because you were in a hurry, I just gave you what I had to help you quickly." I said, "I did pay for the largest size." He apologized and made me more fries. When I got home, I was surprised to find I still had so little! Ugh, never coming back here again!

Really craving a snack. Come on in, the wall is empty and out! You go to FEBO for the wall, right? So I'll order a milkshake. While I'm ordering, an employee in a high-visibility jacket squeezes between me and the cashier. This happens a second time. Very unpleasant. The milkshake was very thick, but manageable. I've hardly ever seen a customer inside, and I won't be going back.

Waiting for fifteen minutes at the drive-through. You'd actually expect it to be faster at a drive-through. Otherwise, it was fine. What you'd expect from a FEBO.

I ordered meatball sandwiches, which were priced at €4.15, and I paid €5.75. They told me they couldn't do anything about it. No refund! This was handled by the head office, which was incredibly poor.

Four people inside and no one in the drive-thru. Still, a nearly 15-minute wait for a double "grilled" burger. Which is essentially just two very thin slices of ground beef on a white bun with a ton of lettuce for €7. No way, not again.

Food is not feboworthy I am used to better in other businesses of this company. Furthermore this establishment never has small portions because the containers are gone the same goes for the ice creams. In my opinion this establishment tries to get as much money out of your pocket as possible.

Great service, after a long drive my friend and I were in the mood for something tasty and we came across this febo. The food was great and the service too. Good clean restaurant! Definitely worth repeating!!

The hamburger double special is just very mediocre with two very thin pieces of meat and small in diameter and if you want cheese and bacon etc on it it does not cost €7 but €10.30 is just a rip-off, the special here is just without extras I will go to kv or the M from now on for that money you get something to eat
